Okay, so I've finally gotten my act together and done some updates of my other fics, and here is the next chapter - hopefully this will end the Saboady Arc and get us into Fishman Island soon.

I'm throwing you guys a bone for once and have a little scene for you to enjoy as I am trying to update this week before the end of the week - hopefully.

Watching the Archipelago from the deck of the Perfume Yuda, Boa Hancock was accompanied by her snake companion Salome, staring at the numerous amount of trees and bubbles emerging from the ground and reaching the sky, the sound of chaos and gunfire going off, the beautiful woman already could tell what was happening.

"Is that gunfire?"

The normally stoic woman who was so against her crewmates turned to see it was Marguerite who walked up the deck, her green and black striped reptilian companion was also on her, she looked straight at the archipelago.

Turning her gaze back, "Yes, it is." Hancock answered as she spoke, "Rapid fire to be exact, it sounds like it's Naruto's people doing the shooting. So expect them to make a hasty departure."

Marguerite just leaned her arms on the railings, with her head in the palms of her head, "I just hope he'll do alright. You know?"

Hancock's eyebrow cocked up at that, ever since he left, the blonde Kuja had been talkative of him.

But she knew why the girl was like that - of course, what happened on the trip.

Flashback

The first night the Kuja Pirates began their journey after having picked up their second passenger, the ship had landed at a small abandoned island with most of the crew having gone to sleep.

Included was Luffy who was surrounded by whatever piece of meat he hadn't consumed yet as he was even holding onto some with his bare hands, he was lying in the spare bedroom reserved for him. It was Salome who tucked Luffy in and finished by putting a blanket over the boy's body.

Smiling, Hancock spoke softly, "Sleep well, Luffy…Let's go, Salome."

Complying with his master, the skull-wearing snake followed Hancock out of the room before closing the door behind them just as Luffy was growing a bubble out of his nose, signifying he was going to be in a deep slumber.

As the two made their way back to their private cabin, Salome was already way ahead as the snake wanted to sleep, clearly tired, going through the corridor where many doors lead to the bedrooms of her crewmates who also went to sleep, with her sisters Marigold and Sandersonia having guard duty with the Elder Nyon accompanying them, meaning she can just sleep in some peace.

"Ahh~Hmm~"

That sound of a fainting moan caused the Warlord to stop, a stunned expression she made as this came out of the other end of the hallway, seeing that a small light was still burning underneath the door's space, which happened to be slightly open for some reason.

Boa proceeded to walk towards it and see what was happening.

"Ahh~"

Slowly stepping closer she could hear some moaning, some giggling, and even creaking that sounded like the spring of a bed, but what she smelled was a strong sense of alcohol, tobacco, and sweat, a strong scent of sweat that was more powerful than the beverages she had laid her lips on.

The closer she got the stronger the smells were and she could hear the movement of something unusual to her, something like flesh of some sort, but that all made sense to her once Hancock arrived at the door and took a peak through the gap.

And what she saw blew her mind.

"Marguerite!"

"Where are you?"

Hancock's thoughts on that evening were interrupted by the sound of some of her crew walking up the deck and to the railings to speak with young blonde Kuja, it was both smoker Rindo and Ran approached her and joined her in sightseeing the archipelago.

"Is that Naruto shooting?"

"I believe so, I think." Marguerite answered Ran's question while more gunfire went off, winching at a few explosions, "Or his crewmates could be both. Cannot say it from here."

"It's him alright," Rindo said, lighting a cigarette in her mouth and smiling, "only they got that firepower, and he's keen on those machine guns, that's for sure."

"How so?" Ran raised her eyebrow, asking, "I only saw him use that revolver."

"Because he often practiced his aim when he was on the same island as Straw Hat," Rindo answered turning to her friends, "Remember when he-"

"Uh-hmm."

The three women felt their spines turn cold when they heard the intrusion and all three slowly turned their heads to a stoic-looking Hancock who held her crossed arms underneath her chest as she gave a direct look to the three Kuja Pirates.

"Shouldn't you prepare the ship for departure?" Hancock asked with a clear glare now, "I believe you should so - move it!"

The order alone left the two veteran Kuja Pirates off in panic to some part of the ship, while it was Marguerite who left calmly but still visibly scared away from the railings, leaving the Pirate Empress by herself on the deck as she went back the railings as she watched the havoc going on Sabaody.

Left by herself, a sigh escaped from her mouth and she shook her head and even placed her hand over her forehead, shaking it as she muttered.

"That bastard..."

Sabaody

*BOOM!*

With another explosion going off right behind them, the fleeing trio of Straw Hats and the group of Legionnaires were running while exchanging gunfire with the chasing Marines right after them trying to catch up on them, with Luffy and his crewmates taking the lead.

"Damn bastards!" Reiser yelled pulling the machine gun on them and firing at them despite the heavy weight of the weapon, firing dozens of it against the chasers with the ammo belt around his arm, "Can't these guys ever give up?!"

With another Marine unit popped out of the corner trying to attack, they were met with more explosives that were being set off by Luca who was dropping them behind them.

"I'm running low!" Luca yelled firing his pistol at them from a distance, standing next to Foster who fired his rifle at them too.

"Need some help here!"

Naruto turned right around and pulled his revolver out, firing from him as he fanned six shots at the nearest Marines and hitting all of them without a miss, even disarming one officer who went down fast.

"Nice shot, boss!"

Naruto put it back in his holster as he felt something move past him, going directly for the remaining marines with a hint of death-

*SLASH!*

The marines were caught in a blast that resulted in their screams and defeat as this group was promptly defeated by Naruto, with his blade, turned to his legionnaires.

"Stop wasting time and go." Naruto said, warning them, "We're leaving this place, now."

The Legionnaires wanted to say something but then looked back and saw something that made them question, "Uhm, what did you do to them?"

Naruto grunted, "I just cut them, what of it?"

"To the point, that you made them depressed?"

The blond captain turned around and saw that all of the Marines were now on their hands and knees, looking like they were in a state of depression, the things they were saying were weird to hear.

"I wanna become an ant…"

"I wanna become a cockroach…"

"I wanna become a louse…"

Not knowing what this was, however, Naruto felt a presence in the air, something that flew over these Marines who were affected by this presence, he turned to his men and saw Luffy and his crewmates were up ahead, seemingly speaking with someone who stopped them.

"Let's go!"

Once they managed to catch up with the Straw Hats, the four Legionnaires saw that someone was a woman with big, round black eyes, floating from the ground wearing a long black strapless dress with lavender frills, and a big black top hat with white floral decor, red high heeled boots and a red umbrella and a small brown teddy bear in her arm, surrounded by visible figures that looked like ghosts.

"Oh no…."

Everything except ghosts, not ghosts. When Naruto and the others halted, they saw Zoro argue angrily with the woman before kicking Sanji in the head for being too spooky, as if he hadn't seen a woman in a long time.

When the Ghosts saw Naruto and his buddies, they started to make faces and stick out their tongues, but before they could react, a shadow cast over them, and it was Luffy who spoke first.

"What's that?"

They all looked up and saw a giant bird descending on them, with it coming closer, a smaller figure popped out with his head waving at them down below, it was Chopper.

"There you are!

The group watched as the large bird started to land downwards, earning a comment from the blond.

"Talk about good timing."

Thousand Sunny

Having arrived just a few moments ago after a debacle that was his concert, the skeleton rockstar and musician of the Straw Hats 'Soul King' Brook, complimented both Robin and Nami for their beautiful aged looks and strung his guitar and asked.

"Could I look at your panties-"

"NO CHANCE IN HELL!" she kicked him in the skull straight away, brutally rejecting that question before Brook even could ask, "I never let you look at them two years ago why let them now? How come nobody has changed for the better?"

"R-Right, I was just excited to see you," Brook said with his body twitching and a cracked skull, he found time to joke, "It's shaking my soul, although I don't have a soul to be shaken…"

"Hey, the big star is having a spasm."

Nami groaned and shook her head, "Honestly! None of you guys have grown up."

Once he got back up, Brook turned to see who had arrived, counting himself, Usopp, Frankie, and the two ladies, he could see four others were still absent.

"By the way, I don't see everybody here yet," Brook concluded to his crewmates once finished counting, "And I heard some gunfire and explosions going off on my way here, hoped it is not them."

"Don't worry, Chopper is about to pick them up." Robin said smiling at her skeleton friend, adding, "Them and some friends of mine who're tagging along."

"Friends of yours?" Franky asked, tilting his sunglasses up out of curiosity, "You didn't mention that."

Robin smiled, "It's a surprise - and don't worry, Luffy knows them too, so no need to worry."

Usopp gave a suspicious look, "Now you got me worried…"

Nami was about to ask also-

"HEY GUYS!"

The shout got those on the Thousand Sunny to look up to see the giant bird flying towards them.

Luffy was the one sitting in front of the enormous bird, excitedly waving to his pals, while Chopper perched on Zoro's back, behind a group of people seated behind him.

"EVERYBODY!"

The Straw Hats were now reunited with some emotions coming out very fast, some pure joy and some crying like Brook was, all while those sitting in the back of the giant bird were witnessing it in silence, they didn't want to ruin the moment.

Naruto smiled at the sight, especially at Luffy who was genuinely happy at seeing his friends, feeling good for him, knowing this was good for the kid's mental health.

However, one reaction was catching them off guard.

*SPRRRRT!*

The weird sound that was made got the three men, Luca, Reiser, and Foster to turn around and be horrified by what they were witnessing, with Fritz tapping on the reindeer's shoulder.

"Hey little raccoon, is that supposed to happen?"

Angrily turning around for that description, Chopper turned around, "I'm not a raccoon, I'm a-AAAAAH! SANJI!"

Watching as Sanji blew into the air off the big bird, he was leaving an ungodly amount of blood streaming out of his nose before he landed in the water.

Luca shook his head as he discarded his equipment and jumped right after the perverted cook into the water.

...

"B-Beautiful women…"

Surrounding the unconscious and nearly blood-empty body of Sanji, Reiser was holding a blood bag that was infusing into the blond cook while Luca, Usopp, and Naruto were trying to keep him from wasting his energy on whatever images in his head that started this whole mess.

"Get a hold of yourself!" Luca said slapping Sanji across the face, irritated, "madonne, you nearly died because you haven't seen a woman?"

"H-Hey, no need to slap Sanji like that!" Usopp threw his hands around, trying to speak to his friend, "Come on Sanji, take it easy!"

Naruto kept the cook's head up as blood flowed in a small pool across the floor, even staining his pants and shirt that he was used to, but he took a closer look at the blond Straw Hat and him to pay a closer look at the guy.

His name, his blond hair, and his eyebrows…

'Say, Kurama, you think what I'm thinking?'

'That he looks like one of those Germa people? With the curled-up eyebrows?'

'He looks like one of them.'

'Perhaps it could also be a coincidence, but if we're going to travel with this bunch, better keep an eye on him.'

'If he stays alive, this guy…' Naruto thought as he stood up and allowed Luca to hold his head, not wanting to think how this cook would react once they reached Fishman Island.

As the blond turned around, he was unlucky to run into one of the Straw Hats, blocking his path with her hands on her hips and giving him a stern, unpleasant look. One of the few people he knew years ago, she had aged very well since their last encounter…

"Nami…I see you've grown up."

Not saying anything but the clear glare in her eyes, she stepped closer to him and pointed her finger into his chest, pressuring it hard before expressing.

"Listen here…we-"

"CANNONBALL!"

Warned and the sound of a loud whistle caused the interaction to be interrupted when Naruto spotted where the whistling was coming from and-

"INCOMING!"

*BOOM!*

By luck or just poor aim the cannonball that was fired missed the Thousand Sunny as it landed a few meters next to the ship, though it was the second shot that overflew its course and hit the nearby mangrove tree and exploded with an aftershock, causing everybody to have taken cover.

In the crow's nest of the Thousand Sunny stood Foster who had pulled out his binoculars and spotted 3 Navy warships, the middle one leading with it firing its front cannons and slowly leading forward with the cannons firing again.

"Incoming more cannonballs!" Foster shouted down to the rest, "Brace yourselves!"

More cannonballs hit the surrounding waters close to the Sunny, causing the ship to rock back and forth due to the water being roughed up, the barrage didn't end there with more coming.

But before the barrage could lay a hit on the Sunny…

"SLAVE ARROW!"

An uncountable amount of pink heart-shaped arrows came out of nowhere and overwhelmed the cannonballs in overwhelming numbers and turned them into stone before they plunged into the ocean. Sinking like a solid rock, the barrage just got stopped.

The moment the barrage ended the Sunny found itself back into calm waters as it gave those on it the ability to stand back up or balance themselves.

Nami herself was the first to look up from where she was lying and felt pressured to the green floor and she turned up to see who it was.

Naruto had taken the quick thinking movement by using his body to cover hers from the explosion that rocked just above the ship where the cannonball hit the mangrove tree, with some of the leftover ammo splintered across the area, and some dust happened to land on the blond as he stood up and looked around.

"Everyone okay?"

"Yeah!"

"We're good!"

Naruto turned to the navigator and held his hand out to her, "You good?"

"Y-Yeah…" Nami said, having no words she accepted his hand and got pulled up back on her feet, she wanted to say, "Thanks, but I-"

"Captain!" Foster called out from the Crow's Nest, "Kuja Pirates on our 9, sir!"

Naruto quickly went over to the railings and saw indeed the Perfume Yuda having come into the open waters that lay between the advancing Marine ships and the Straw Hat's ship, Boa Hancock personally having intervened, she was scolding the marine captain on the frontal ship of the Navy.

"Captain, look!" Luca came up running with a binocular he handed over, "Look at the frontal cannon."

Taking them, Naruto used the binoculars to look at the direction his comrade was pointing and what he saw was alarming.

Despite the Perfume Yuda having anchored in front of the Marines, the frontal ship's main cannons were preparing its aim.

"Luca, get your rifle and get to the nest."

"Yes sir."

Running back to grab his 13mm rifle that lay just next to the unconscious Sanji, Chopper, and Usopp noticed the man rushing and it was the long-nosed guy immediately asking.

"Hey! What are you doing?"

"Foster - give me the readings on the front ship!"

"What sir? Captain? Officer?"

"Not personal, the ammo chamber!" Naruto yelled back while looking through his binoculars, asking for the man on the high ground, "meters, elevation, wind, anything!"

"Gimme a minute, sir!"

"30 seconds, now!" Naruto said as he lowered his binoculars and turned to the nearest Straw Hat Pirate, which happened to be Zoro and Nami, "They're preparing for another barrage, look."

While Nami took the blond's binoculars for a quick moment to look, those keeping an eye on their stowaways like Brook and Franky watched the person they knew as Luca was climbing his way up to the crow's nest with the rifle strapped to his back with Reiser following up behind with an ammo bag he threw at the sniper.

"Here!"

"Thank you!" Luca said catching the ammo bag and continuing to climb, "Give me a minute, captain!"

"Hey, what's going on?!" Usopp demanded, panicking, "Why are you guys reacting so fast?"

"Idiot - They're right!" Nami lowered her binoculars and was concerned, "They are loading their cannons! They want to sink us while we're sitting ducks!"

"WHAT?! But we just got back together!" Chopper shouted in a panicky tone as he just finished with Sanji, "No! No! No!"

"Calm down, kid. Let us handle it." Naruto said taking back his binoculars and ordering, "Luca! Foster!"

…

*CLICK!*

On top of the crow's nest, the chamber of the Tankgewehr anti-material rifle was just bolted open with Luca loading a round in it before closing the chamber back in as he laid the rifle on the railings of the nest, he bent his knees and looked down the iron sight of the large deadly gun as Foster was making his preparations - by propping one of his ears with some fillings so he wouldn't go deaf.

"I'm not going deaf for this,"

"Just give me the info I need, man." Luca said, cracking his neck slightly as he began breathing in and out calmly, "Now."

"Three ships, frontal three-barrel cannons, thick steel, and 9 o'clock." Foster began debriefing as he looked through his binoculars once again, "I'd assume they're still loading."

"Crossfire?"

"Unless you want to hit the women, you've got enough room so they won't be hit - but they'll hear the shot of course."

"Gimme distance."

"Target zero point two six mils high. Angle zero." Foster informed, "That's gotta be twelve hundred and twenty meters, plus fifty."

"My dail?"

"Eighteen miles, one click."

"Wind?"

"Nine o'clock, three miles per hour. Dial left one point two miles."

…

Down the deck, Naruto listened in on the conversation and shouted in return.

"Foster! Wind!"

"Three miles per hour! Dialing left one point two miles!"

"At him or behind him?"

"At him, sir! Coming from his left!"

"Adjust to it! Aim a little bit higher!" Naruto yelled back, adding in to help, "Three is a breeze, the problem is the waves if you're trying to take out the captain!"

"Not aiming for the Navy Captain, sir!"

"What then?"

Luca responded, "Lower deck - first floor!"

"... of course," Naruto responded as he complied and raised his binoculars, "Got a round in that chamber?"

"One good enough to penetrate the walls, and if lucky ignite their ammunition."

The Straw Hats were watching this from the sidelines and in total confusion as they watched these guys getting to work, it was Usopp who tried to approach the blond captain.

"Hey, whoever you are-"

"Hold up, young man." Reiser Stopped the long-nosed young man, keeping him at a safe distance, "They're concentrating now, so how about you guys prepare for this ship's departure? We'll take care of the Navy."

"By firing a shot at the Marines - one shot?" Franky asked, sounding skeptical.

"If I were you guys, put some earplugs." Reiser said putting some in his own, "Because unless you want tinnitus, it's going to be painful to your ears."

"Oh is that so…" Brook asked before he reached for his ears, "But what if you don't have ears?"

"Then it is your guess."

Luffy looked up to the crow's nest and watched in silence, noticed by Robin who glanced at her Captain. But what she also noticed was the small book in his back pocket.

Having himself now fully prepared, with the but of the rifle against his shoulder, one knee to the wooden floor, holding his index finger next to the trigger and looking through the iron scope of the rifle - Luca was now slowly breathing in and out as he had his eyes on the target, awaiting the moment for the shot to be taken.

"Winds are now in your favor," Foster said looking at the ship, "You're free to go…."

Taking a deep breath of air into his lungs, Luca closed his eyes and focused.

"Firing now."

He pulled the trigger.

*BOOM!*

…

The loud shot was heard across the entire area, from the Perfume Yuda to the Marine Warships who heard and it caused many on those ships to cover their ears.

"Ahhh! What was that!?" Sandersonia complained, wincing as did her sister Marigold, "It's hurting my ears."

Marguerite, Aphelandra, and other Kuja Pirates were also grimacing at the loud, unpleasant sound, but Boa Hancock was the only one who seemed unfazed by the gunshot until-

*BOOM!*

She watched in total surprise how the front of the entire Navy warship that led the group, exploded into pieces with the frontal cannons being obliterated first by the explosion underneath the steel guns, with the ship beginning to sink forward in an instant.

"W-What happened!" The ship's captain yelled in panic.

"Our ammo storage got hit!"

"In one shot?!"

The ship tilted to the ocean with the first marines jumping off to abandon ship in droves, causing chaos among the Marine fleet.

…

Back on the Sunny, the loud shot was not liked by the small Reindeer doctor who was holding its tiny ears with his hands as he trembled from the noise, Usopp also kept his ears closed while grinding his teeth.

"My ears! They hurt!" Usopp said, annoyed by it as he turned to the doctor, "Chopper, you doing better?"

Chopper was not any better given he laid on his back before Robin came to his side and began calming the little doctor down, she wasn't affected by it at all.

"Robin, how?"

"I'm kind of used to it - believe it or not." She smiled and responded while tending to the little loveable doctor, "Don't worry, it will end soon."

"End what? That shot bothered you guys?" Franky said putting a finger in his ear, looking unbothered by it as he turned to the skeleton, "How about you, Brook?"

Brook turned to his cyborg crewmate, "It went through my one whole through another - because I don't have any ears so I don't need to worry at all, yohohoho!"

Zoro also took no notice of the loud shot as he turned his eye to the crow's nest and saw that Foster climbed down and walked over to Naruto and he saluted him.

"Sir, the shot was successful, but the sergeant is injured. He'll be stuck up there for now."

"Wait, how is he injured?" Nami asked rubbing her ears to try to ease the pain, standing next to Naruto she asked both, "He was the one shooting."

"Shoulder dislocated, not the first time but he's not getting out there until it's eased up." Naruto explained as he turned to the navigator, "Mind if your doctor helps out?"

Usopp tried to protest, "Absolutely no-"

"CHOPPER! Help out Naruto's friend, will ya!" Luffy shouted from the top of the helm, "He's injured!"

"R-Right!" Chopper jumped up and got his act together, "Let me get my bag!"

"Got it here, little man," Reiser said throwing it at the reindeer who cached it before he and Naruto began to climb up the mast towards the crow nest.

"I've removed the airbag!"

"Roger that! What about the sails!"

Making their final preparations, the Straw Hats were ready for their departure, with the coating having been done already and the Marines off their backs for a little while, they now had a window of opportunity to leave.

…

"There, finished."

Chopper just strapped on a few bandages on Luca's arm while the sniper was sitting there being treated by Chopper who had eased the pain and relocated the shoulder for the time being, with Naruto standing there and having partly helped the doctor.

"Now you should rest that arm for now until we get downstairs, okay?" Chopper told the sniper as he pointed its hoove at him, "It will take a few days before it's healed, so watch it!"

"Right, little…reindeer?"

"I'm not - a reindeer?" Chopper stopped in mid-realization, "You say I'm a reindeer!"

"Yes, the little antlers, no?"

"YES! Yes, I am!" Chopper sounded ecstatic, "Finally, someone figured it out without calling me a raccoon!"

While Luca was busy handling the small happy doctor, Naruto turned around to see the Kuja Pirates were still there blocking the way of the Navy fleet struggling with their leading ship getting sunk.

*FWOOSH!*

Reacting fast Naruto caught something before it would hit the counted nest, it being an arrow that was fired from the Kuja ship, Naruto noticed many of them were at the railings waving at the Straw Hats, with some more looking upwards, including one blond girl carrying a bow and a small group surrounding her.
