"Woaaah..."

Denji couldn't help but gasp and had wide eyes full of wonder, as he looked up at a fancy luxurious hotel, which was definitely not affordable to a normal person like him. This undoubtedly impressed him greatly.

"It's like I'm looking at a castle..."

Though as Denji was admiring the building, Kobeni Higashiyama couldn't help but look at him with a tilted confused expression.

"Um, I don't own the building?"

When Kobeni clarified this to the blonde, he couldn't help but pout and look a bit disappointed.

"Oh."

Luckily, Denji's disappointment didn't last long. Higashiyama led him not only into the building but also up to the penthouse of this luxurious hotel. As soon as he walked through the door and entered his new home, he wasn't met with something terrible like he was used to. Instead, he saw a real and true home, with everything he could ever wish for, from something as simple as electricity to someone as grand as the large living room with a TV. It was like he was living in a magical world.

"This is where I live, I-I hope it's up to your standards."

Kobeni, despite living in such a wonderful home, was still worried that her new guest wouldn't like it.

"Trust me, I have no standards~"

Fortunately for her though, Denji was able to dash away those doubts by giving his approval towards his new home, though the way he said it could use some work, as it only made her more confused than nervous.

"O...K?..."

Kobeni decided that it was best to move on, so she shook her head and cleared her thoughts as she showed the Devil Hybrid around her home.

"Let me show you to your room."

However before Kobeni could, she was stopped and interrupted by the Chainsaw Man loud gasp.

"I-I get my own room?!"

Denji couldn't help but be shocked, as if the idea of him getting his own room was impossible until now. He even assumed he would be sleeping on the couch instead of getting a room.

"Yes, why do you ask?"

When Kobeni turned back around to look at the blonde with a confused expression, she was immediately with a tearful face as he was struggling not to cry.

"O-Oh! I'm s-sorry, I didn't mean to make you cry, i-if you don't want a room, I can-"

Just as Kobeni was about to panic and think of a way to apologize and ask for forgiveness, she was stopped when the Devil Hybrid spoke up.

"N-No, it's not that..."

Denji was able to calm down as he wiped away his tears from his face and eyes.

"Just the thought of getting my own room, a real one, it just makes me so happy."

And to prove what Denji said, he looks at her and lets out a bright yet very grateful happy smile, much to her surprise.

'And I thought I had it rough...'

Kobeni couldn't process the idea of anyone being this happy about getting their own room, for him to treasure something as simple as that, not even her own life was that bad to make her think like him.

"I don't know the kind of life that you had before."

Kobeni, whatever distrust or negative feeling that she might've had for the Chainsaw Man, was replaced with guilt and sympathy.

"But I promise you, you won't have to live through something like that ever again, ok?"

But then guilt and sympathy were replaced by determination and passion, as Kobeni then reached out and grabbed the blonde's hand, as she looked into his surprised eyes with her own, her own eyes that said "I want to make you happy", which made his cheeks flush pink and had his chainsaw heart skip a beat.

'I-Is this love?...'

After that silent heart-to-heart moment, things continued to move on, resulting in Denji not only seeing his new room, but being able to experience a real bath that came with his own living quarters. He savoured every moment when his body was being cleansed by the warm water, his hair turned silky, his skin became shiny, his tense muscles became looser and more relaxed, and this feeling of bliss wanted to make him stay in the bathroom forever. However, there was something else that made him get out with equal amounts of eagerness.

"S-Sorry, but all I have is my robe for you to wear, I promise we'll buy you clothes tomorrow."

Specifically, someone else, that someone being Kobeni, who shyly looked away with closed eyes, as she offered a bathrobe to the Devil Hybrid, who had just gotten out of the shower and stood before her, which might be the reason for her blushing face that looked away from him.

'T-This is her robe?!'

Denji once again looked happy, as if he was given a very valuable treasure, even though it was just simple clothing that she wore before, which not only made him eager to put it on, but took a moment to enjoy the feeling and smell of what remains of Higashiyama in the robe.

"I-I don't mind it, actually it's quite comfortable and soft~"

Denji, after calming his hormone mind and thoughts, was able to reassure and even properly thank his caretaker.

"R-Really? Well, if you like it, you can keep it you want."

After those simple words left Kobeni's mouth, the Chainsaw Man couldn't help but suddenly clench his chest tightly.

'A-A gift from Kobeni?! M-My heart can't handle it!'

Denji could barely contain his true feelings he had deep inside his heart, which was intense enough to nearly make him fall. Though he used the wall nearby as support to keep himself up.

"A-Are you ok?"

Kobeni, after checking if it was safe to look, was immediately met with worries and concerns, as she was about to help if she could.

"Yeah! Yeah, I'm just, um-"

But Denji was able to express that he was fine, even planning to make an excuse for why he was like this, luckily he didn't need to make one as his explanation came in the form of a growling stomach, catching both of their attentions.

"Oh, of course, you must be hungry."

Kobeni sighs a breath of relief, not only was she glad that nothing was wrong with him, but the problem that was present was something easy that could be fixed.

"It's a good thing I made dinner while you took a shower."

Kobeni couldn't help but feel a little glad and proud of herself with her being able to plan ahead and have dinner ready.

"You... You made me dinner?..."

Denji doesn't know if he could get any happier, the thought of someone cooking for him, without having to beg or waste money on, not to mention it was a girl who cooked for him, it was like a dream come true and it was hard to keep his excitement concealed as it felt like his heart was about to leap out of his chest.

"Mhm, I'm not a good cook, but I hope you'll like what I made for you."

Kobeni was still nervous though, hoping her cooking was good enough for her guest.

"Thank you, I'm sure it'll taste awesome~..."

But not only was Denji already excited, but he was confident that it would be amazing, which did make Higashiyama blush softly in embarrassment, but smile all the same.

"Y-You don't need to go that far, but you're welcome..."

Shortly, both were seen sitting on the couch in the living room, enjoying their dinner while a movie played on the big TV. As Kobeni, who was now in her Pj's, was enjoying her meal and the movie that she was watching, a certain blonde couldn't help but happily eat his meal and while enjoying watching something else.

'T-This is love, I've fallen in love with Kobeni...'

Denji looked at his food, which was a simple and average dinner that anyone could make, but for someone like him, it was as good as something you would find at a 5-star fancy restaurant, and it was made by the person he liked. It was enough to make him want to cry.

'Kobeni...'

Denji glanced at his caretaker, the person he was beginning to have feelings for. He looked at her with fire in his eyes, as passion, determination, and motivation filled his heart.

'I promise to use my power, to use Pochita power, for you, and you alone...'

Denji clenches his fist as he makes a promise to someone who did so much for him, more than anyone else did.

'I will do everything I can to repay everything you've done for me, even if it takes me forever, I promise you!'

As Denji swore his heart, body, and soul for Kobeni, to always be there for her, and do everything for her, Higashiyama looked away from the movie and looked at the Chainsaw Man with a curious expression, clearly not knowing what he was thinking about.

"I have ice cream in the freezer, if you'll like some Denji."

"You're the best, Kobeni!~"

Since I'm going for Denji x Kobeni, I might as well go full on in, of course they're not gonna be together instantly, but I'm definitely setting a path for them, also I was a bit worried that I was making Denji fall in love to quickly, but then I realized how he acted for Makima, if anything, he might like Kobeni more if you think about it, but that's just me.

(BTW, should Aki, Power and Himeno start living with Kobeni? or do you want to let Kobeni and Denji have their privacy?)

Devil Transformation: Just simple transformation, the Omnitrix can scan the DNA of Devils and transform into them.

Devil Mode: You know how Ben 10 was able to go Ultimate back in Ultimate Aliens? Think of it like that, though instead of Kobeni going ultimate, she can make her Aliens go Demonic, basically each Alien becoming a Primal Fear if that makes any sense.

Kobeni Devil: You know how Nanomech was artificially created by Ben mixing his DNA with an alien one? Think of it like that, but she's mixing her DNA with that of a Devil, basically becoming her very own unique one of a kind Devil.
