Closing time is on the surface about a bar but the real meaning behind it is about haing a kid. Look it up for yourself! Love you all!

"Bella, why don't you come in for a light snack and we can talk if you want?" Emily questioned.

"I would like that Emily." Bella smiled shyly. She then turned to glance at Jacob who put a warm hand on the small of her back.

"Im gonna talk with the guys for a minute honey. You go on ahead. I'll join you in a bit."

Nodding her head, Bella joined Emily inside her home. Warmth and comfort filled her as they sat in the cozy living room, Emily studying her slowly.

When she and Jacob became friends again after he joined the pack, Emily's home had become somewhat of a sanctuary for her. Not to mention Emily's welcoming and nonjudgmental presence. Bella could recognize something in Emily that she saw in herself.

A subtle sense of longing for the female presence.

With a smile, Bella allowed Emily to embrace her as they began to talk.

….

"What the heck Jacob?!" was Paul's angry growl.

Jacob cocked his head and sneered showing Paul his canines as the man and wolf perceived their pack brother as a potential threat.

"What Paul?" Jacob growled out.

"She left you! She left us, for the leeches! And you bring her back here! Let the leeches take care of her! You weren't even supposed to be near forks! Now that they are back, that's Cullen territory!"

" First of all. I had to talk to Charlie about Harry! And second of all, who I hang out with is no one's business! Especially not yours!"

Sam opened his mouth to de-escalate the brewing argument when the sound of retching made them freeze.

" Oh, Bella. Are you okay!? Let me get you some ginger ale!" they heard Emily's concerned voice.

Jacob pushed past Paul as he ran inside the house to Bella.

His wolf whined In concern at the tiny woman bowing over the toilet bowl.

He was quick to hold her hair as the contents of her stomach emptied.

"Oh, honey." He murmured as she gripped his hand.

After a minute she sat up and said "Sorry. This is probably so gross to you. Dad made dinner and I don't think it sat on my stomach very well."

However, he shook his head saying "No worries, I'm used to it. Dad used to get sick a lot after Mom and all. Anyway, let's get you home so you can take a nap."

"Ok" was Bella's quiet answer.

Saying their goodbyes to the pack and Emily, the twosome hit the road.

When Jacob said home, Bella expected him to take her back to forks. However, he was pulling up to the little red house.

Home, Bella thought as she stared at it in a daze.

" Come on honey, let's get you cleaned up then you and I can have a nap."

….

Two hours later, Bella felt herself surrounded by warmth and soft snores. Not Wanting any issues with either of their father they decided to crash on the couch. Bella couldn't help but chuckle as Jacobs' large body practically hung off the couch.

Her body tingled as Jacob shifted and wrapped a strong arm around her waist. Pulling her back in

" Mmm Bells, don't leave me." were his sleep-induced words.

Bella sighed. Of course, he would hold that worry in his heart, especially after how close they got before she took off for Italy. They had spent every day together before he phased and when he finally stopped being a jerk their relationship deepened. With his new wolf senses everything about their relationship had heightened even without his supernatural abilities, he always knew when something was wrong, or what she was thinking, or just when she needed a simple touch. The same could be said for Bella. She knew when he was stressed out when to make him laugh. That way the best thing about thier relationship, it was easy. Easy as breathing as they used to joke.

Bella sighed as contentment filled her heart. Jacob was a part of her and there was no changing that.

" I love you, Jake. I'm not going anywhere. I promise." She whispered.

…..

Denali Alaska

Alice Cullen gasped as she dropped the shopping bags and froze.

"Alice? Alice?" Rosalie called trying to get her sister's attention.

"Alice, what did you see?" Carmen asked as she came to stand in front of the women. The cousins had gathered together for the weekend wanting to get a reprieve from the stress.

"It's Bella? I saw her crying in a store and then it all goes black! I have to call her!" She shrieked.

"Alice. No!" Rosalie hissed "Carlile and Esme forbade us from talking to her. You saw how pissed off Bella's father was. Leave it alone

Alice shook her head. Something big had just occurred in Bella's life and Alice needed to find out.

….

Two Weeks Later Saturday 8 am Oakwood Washington

"Daddy, I promise you I am safe. I just need about three hours to get some stuff done. You know new clothes and feminine products." Bella communicated to her father over the phone.

"Don't think I don't know what you're doing Isabella. Trying to scare me with the word feminine products, if you must know I bought you a box of tampons last week!"

Bella groaned.

"Dad!"

"Yeah I said it, I went into the store and strolled down the women's health aisle and picked them up! I even talked to the cashier lady! So now, that's not going to get me off this phone! I know you're not grounded anymore and you're officially eighteen but that doesn't mean im not terrified that you will pick up and leave me again Bella, I mean these past two weeks have been really fun, and you've been doing really good, and all. I just don't want to see that shatter." was her father's concerned voice.

Bella sighed in understanding.

"I know Dad, the past two weeks have been fun I admit but I also needed to get out of forks just for a few hours. I just -it's hard being in the same town with small-town gossip and your Ex running around. I just didn't want to run into Edward when I was trying to have a me day."

"Yeah, I can understand that. Alright well what's your plan?" he questioned

"Well, I am currently pulling up to the Oakwood Mall. I have a hair and nail appointment cause they are chewed to the nub. Then I have to get some clothes, just a few after that I am going to the bookstore and around 3 pm, I am going to visit Jake. I'll be home around 6:00."

"I thought you hated shopping?"

"I do when it's for stuff I don't like or wear. This trip is about me."

"Well, alright call me as soon as you're on the road again."

"I will Dad, I promise."

With that said, the call ended and Bella stared blankly at the screen.

Her period had never come this month.

….

"Alright, beautiful we are finished!" The hairstylist cheered as she turned Bella around in the chair to face the mirror.

Bella took one glance at the mirror and froze. She was in complete shock. In the mirror, looking back at her was obviously her but not her. The Bella that walked into the day spa a nervous wreck was gone. No more dark circles or bags under her eyes, or splotches on her skin.

Instead, a refreshed and relaxed woman looked back at her. One side of her hair had been completely shaved while the other side of her hair still long had been curled so that it fell to one side of her face. And on the tips of her brown hair, red highlights had been added.

"Do you like it doll?" The hairdresser asked in concern.

"Yes! I do- im just… "

"Not used it." she finished for her.

"Yeah, I went through a really bad breakup and I just needed-"

"Something new."

"Yes." Bella smiled glad that someone could understand.

"Well, I'm glad you came in today. Next, we are going to do your toes and nails. Follow me."

By the time Bella was finished no one would have ever known she had gone through months of depression. She felt good on the inside and the outside.

For the next hour, she went shopping surprisingly finding clothes that she did want. A few jeans and shirts. Two hoodies and one dress that she just couldn't say no to. It was a yellow maxi dress that hugged her curves in all the right places and yet it could be worn all around the house.

Jacob's face flashed through her mind and her body was ablaze with desire as she thought his eyes were on her. They hung out a least a few times a week. Back to how they were in his garage, thier Taj Mahal. Warm sodas and car oil. It was if nothing had ever changed except it had, because the moment they left the garage, Jacobs's whole demeanor changed. It was if he had the whole world on his shoulders. Bella wanted to help relieve that pressure. She didn't know what exactly she could do but she would do her best.

As Bella carried her purchases through the store a small boutique caught her eye.

Mothers always.

Without thinking she allowed her feet to carry her in.

The boutique was swarming with all kinds of colors and outfits for babies but also things for mothers. Lotions, soap post partem items. All of it hand made and organic.

" Hell how may i- Bella?" a familiar voice questioned

Bella looked up from the lotions section to see Cora staring at her in surprise.

"Cora! Um hi!" she greeted awkwardly.

"My goodness Bella I feel like it's been forever, I barely see you and your dad at the diner anymore! And don't you look absolutely beautiful! I mean you always do! You've always been beautiful but now you just look like you're glowing. So.. what can I do for you? Are you looking for something in particular?"

Bella hesitated as she looked around the shop. It was just the two of them as the morning crowd had died down.

A blue-knitted onesie caught her eye, and the words daddy's boy embroidered on it finally made Bella crumble.

"Cora… I…I think im pregnant and im not even mad about it. I'm in love with the baby's father."

….

As soon as the words left her mouth, Cora dragged Bella into the boutique bathroom, handing her four rapid-result pregnancy tests. All four came back positive.

"Well, my dear, this is quite a pickle you have yourself in. When did you suspect?"

Bella wiped her eyes from crying so much as she thought back to when she suspected.

"I think it was around the end of last month. My period hadn't started and I thought it was just stress, but then I began puking at odd times and my bobos are killing me but that's all the symptoms I've had."

"And how do you feel?" Cora asked.

"Happy, scared, and most of all angry. Angry at myself the baby's father is ..16, he has so much ahead of him! And look at me I just turned 18! I haven't even graduated high school yet! I'll be six months pregnant when I walk the stage! Oh no, Cora! What do I tell my dad? He's going to be so disappointed in me! And my mom! She going to flip! And jake… I can't do this to him! I mean… I want the baby and I love Jake but.. I can't - I don't want.-"

"Alright, let me stop you there Bella. Breath. Take a deep breath and slow your mind down."

As Bella did so, Cora continued.

"I understand this is stressful and you have valid concerns however, you did not create this baby alone. It took two of you to do this. Therefore, the two of you should make an informed decision. Doesn't Jacob have a say in this as well? Was the sex consensual?"

Bella blushed and shook her head yes.

"Well, then I suggest you talk to Jacob as soon as possible. I have known the Blacks for a very long time. Sarah black was one of my best friends. Despite how the child may have come into the world, I know Jacob will be a good father and you will be a good mother Bella. It won't be easy but you also won't be alone in this. Now… how about we go find you some stuff to take home."

Bella sniffed and wiped her eyes.

"Thank you, Cora, if you don't mind me asking, why aren't you at the diner?"

Cora laughed as she guided Bella to a baby clothes section.

"The diner is only my part-time job, I own this boutique with a few of my friends. You see I got pregnant at your age too Bella but in my case, i was completely alone. My child's father had died just a few weeks before and his family didn't want anything to do with me. A few months into my pregnancy, I miscarried. I was heartbroken, I went to group therapy and a few of us came together to create mothers always. Our babies may be in heaven but we will always be mothers.

Bella once again, couldn't help but sniffle as she held the small white bag in her hand.

She and Jacob were going to be parents, now she just had to tell him.
