Chapter 3-Twisted- NXCRE
Jacob rubbed his hands over his face and sighed in exhaustion as he stomped out the woods. He stopped for a second to watch the the newly phased wolf follow him terrified out of his mind. Colin littlesea, his cousin and one of Sam fan boys. He practically thought Sam was god.
He took a deep breath trying to calm himself down, as he thought about the past fourty eight hours. Colin little sea and Brady Fuller had pahsed in the middle of the night and no could seem to help them get thier act togther except for him. So here he was, watching Colin, while he allowed Brady to go ahead of him.
All Jacob truly wanted to do was sleep and see Bella. He hadn't been able to see her since Monday and was hoping he'd get to at least talk to her on the phone but even that might be impossible with the way things were going. Not only did they gain tow more wolves but they spotted the nomad vampire two days ago. The problem was that it was fast and hard to cath. Not to mention it wasn't consistent. One week it would be there and the next it would be gone for days. It made some of the pack drop thier guard but Jacob knew better. It was also jumping between the forks and la push boundary causing the pack and the Cullens to butt heads. According to Sam, the Dr. wanted to have an alliance since no one knew who this nomad was. They knew her scent very well but in regard to what it looked like they had no idea. And because of the nomad's presence and the Cullens, Brady and Collin phased. So the sooner he could get them back in to Sam's care, the faster Jacob could get home, finish the car someone was paying him to fix, clean the house, start dinner, fix the wheels on his father's wheelchai,r and have the table set up so Colin and Brady's parents could have everything explained, the sooner Jacob close his eyes and sleep.
He almost kissed Sam's front porch when they finally got there. Turning to collin and telling Brady to wait before he went in.
"Now listen you two, I understand everything is overwhelming right now but over time you will get used to it. Your breathing and controlling your emotions are very important. if you feel even the slightest shift in your emotions, go outside and head to the woods. Right now, Sam and Emily have food for you. Now, go eat."
With that said, both boys hestitnly headed inside, Collin stopping to look back at his older cousin.
"Go on Collin, dont worry."
Feeling reassured Collin went inside. Jacob then turned around and decied to walk home. He just needed a few moments of silence before everything creeped back on him.
Just as he stepped away, Sam called out to him.
"Jacob, wait."
Jacob closed his eyes and with all his might turned to face his alpha.
The very thought of thinking of Sam as his alpha made his wolf howl internally . It was wrong, they should be alpham not Sam. Sam was only temporary.
"Yes sam?" he answered tiredly.
"Good work with the pups. Their eating now. They really look up to you"
Jacob nodded waiting to find out what Sam truly wanted.
"Thanks, Sam, now if you don't mind I have to go. Is their anything else?"
Sam sighed and rubbed the back of his next.
"Unfortunately yeah. Well… Jared called… he was in class when… well he imprinted.. And right now he wants to spend some time with her. And at the moment, Leah and Seth are helping their mom wth Harry, and the pups are still new Embry and Quil are-"
Jacob cut Sam off, with a wave of his hand.
"I already know what you're going to ask Sam. What time is Jared's patrol?"
Relief showed on Sam's face as soon as Jacob agreed.
"Thank you, Jacob! It's at 4 am! He usually ends around 6 am but if you could take his shift today you can have Sunday off. I know its annoying and I know your busy! It's just you are the only one I can trust who-"
Jacob cut Sam off again.
"I get it Sam. dont worry. I gotta go."
Jacob turned on his heel and began to Jog home.

Maybe i can just order a pizza? Jacob throught to himself as he approached his home. I mean i know its nothing fancy but… i just dont have tine to cook! Crap i have to clean and Dad will be home soon! no , I cant do pizza if the elders and the parents are going to show up. It will make us look bad. The Current chief and Future chief of the tribe serving pizza to the elders and guest. Yeah that would go over well.
His mind was just about to go into over drive when the most delicious and mouthwater scent hit him.
He lifted his nose in the air and next thing you know Jacob was sprinting to his front door.
The first layer of scents was food.
Lamb, Chicken,Pie and Brownies! But under it was the sweetest ambrosia, that ever existed . A scent that he and his wolf craved that they could bath in. it made his eyes roll into the back of his head.
Bella. His Bella. Their Bella.
But wait? What was she doding here? They hadnt planned to meet. Or did they ? did he forget?
In a rush, Jacob reached out for the door handle but turned as he heard his father's truck.
Just his luck, his father pulled in and Jacob like the dutiful son he was , went to greet him. But it was noted, that his father was not alone. Old Quil, And Jacobs aunt Bonnie Black were with him.
In her hands were what looked like a roasted chicken.
"Hey dad. Hello elder Quil, Hello aunt Bonnie." Jacob greeted as he robotically pulled out his fathers wheel chair. He had been doing it since he was nine years old, it was ingrained in him.
"My, my come here nephew. Its only been a month since ive seen you and you just keeping getting so tall and handsome. We will definitely have to start arranging some dates for you! The future chief will need a bride after all! Dont you think? Hey Billy What do you think of Leah clearwater! Oooh or what about Amelia elkworth! She's a beautiful girl!"
"No thanks Aunt Bonnie. I have pack duties and other things to focus on right now. I want to apologize for the shape of the house ahead of time. I just finished patrol and haven't had the time to clean and in regard to dinner-"
"Oh no worries nephew! Thats why i am here. I figured with your aunt Connie coming, we would need all the help we can get. I know she can be such a prude! We dont need anything setting her off. So lets get to it!" Aunt Bonnie smiled as she ,made her way to the house as if she owned the place.
"Jacob Ephraim Black. Are you telling me you left this house without doing your chores ! knowing we had guests coming!" His father hissed under his breath knowing Jacob could hear him.
"I didnt forget dad I was stuck in the woods half the day, trying to get collin and brady to phase and chasing after the nomad leech." Jacob growled, his wolf raising his hackles.
The wolf and the man could care less about what was happening outside, they wanted to get inside nd see Bella. Was she asleep in his room? Or on the couch? And how was he going to keep his aunts away from her.
However, All of jacobs worries and anxieties melted as he finally stopped into his home. Once again, Bella's scent mised with the food overwhelmed him and he found himself beating his aunt to the kitchen doorway, completely blocking her. He had to see for himself. It had to be him and no one else.
And what he saw made him feel two on and amazed. All becuase of the spread that was before him.
On thier kitchen table was full spread of food. Chicken, lamb and fish. Rice, green beans, and a salad alongside fresh baked bread. And on the counters was three different desserts. By the way, did he mention that the house was completley spotless. He could smell the lysol spray and hear the washer going full of clothes.
And yet the most wonderful thing stood with back turned to him. Soemthing was different, the dress she wore did nothing to hide the curves she tried to hide away from. And when she finally noticed his presence, she gave him the most beautiful smile he ever saw.
"Jake! Your home. Surprise." she said gently.
All Jacob could do was drink her in. Well that was before his aunt snapped him out of it.
"Jacob Black! What are you doing? Get out of the way we have work to do."
Instead of answering his aunt, Jacob took two long strides to get to Bella. The minute she was in his arms, all the frustration of the day melted.
"Bells? What are you doing here hone? Not that im not happy to see you, im just confused, did we make plans? I must have forgotten.I-"
Bella cut him off with a squeeze to his shoulders.
"Hey Jake, slow down ok. Everything is alright. I just wanted to surprise you. I could tell soemthing was bothering you, last time we were togather and I just wanted to suprise you."
"Um excuse me but what is going on in here? This food looks delicious! Billy! I thought you needed my help!" Aunt Bonnie complained.
"Actually little sister, you invited yourslef just so you could try to boss connie around. But i wont complain." Was his fathers answer. " although the food looks great. Jacob, i thought you said you ahdnt gotten aything done."
It was then Jacob moved his 6'7 frame to the side, while he still lept his hands on Bella's hips. He refused to let her go, her touch, it was addictive. Sensing his unease, she softlyrubbed his wrist.
"Bella? What a surprise and while I am glad to see you, we are having guest over to a private event. So you will have to come back another time sweetheart."
Jacob felt his wolf whine at the thought of her leaving. However, his girl, smiled sweetly at his father and nodded.
"I totally understand Billy. I just wanted to swing by and say hello and leave dinner on the table. I understand how busy you both are. Ill take my elave. Everyting is cooked. I did put some appetizers in the overn just to warm and i put leftovers in the freezer. " she explained.
His father smiled at her gratefully and said "you are a sweetheart Bella. Why dont you come over tomorrow?"
"I would love that." she then turned to Jacob, pulling him into a gentle hug. " love you Jake. I'll see you tommorow."
"Dad, i am gonna walk Bells to the door."
The minute they were on his front porch, Jacob had Bella in his arms.
"Bells do you have any idea how beautiful you are? I mean you always beautiful to me but Taka aki baby, I've never seen you freaking sexy and your hair. I love it! And this dress is perfect on you. Hugs all your curves and yet your still comfortable. Its so you. What's the occasion honey?"
"I took a me day today and I just wanted to see you and suprise you that was all. I wanted to do something nice for you, show you I appreaciated you and all that you do. ..I love you jake .. your my sun and the sun deserves to me seen."
"Your too good to me Bells." Jacob murmured against her skin.
"And your too good to me jake. Whenever we get some free time. I want to… talk about our relationship. In a good way!" she said quickly as soon as she saw the panic on his face."I want you Jacob black… I don't want Edward, I'm done with him. With all of them. I want to be all in with you. If you want me..anyway.."
Without thinking, Jacob pressed his lips againt hers,licking her bottom lip. To his excitement, Bella kissed him back, wrapping her arms around his neck.
The two separated quickly knowthat were not alone. Both, panting for air.
Jacob quickly adjusted himself as he stared her with yellow eyes.
"Taka Aki my little mate, do you know what you do to us… if we could wed take you right here and now. But our tribe calls to us, so we must stay. Tonight… can we visit you?"
His little mate, lickled her lips with baited breath nodding her head.
"Yes, of course, i dont sleep too well without you."
"We know, now, go on and get home safely. Call us as soon as you get home."
"Ok."
With a swat ot her butt, Jacob gently pushed her on, before he could not longer control himself.
Nothing else mattered anymore. Isabella swan was his mate, everything else be damned.
