Chapter 6: Fast Car
"They're gonna get away!" Esme shouted as they ran after the nomad.
"No, they won't!" Jasper shouted as the wolf pack made their way to the other side of the ravine.
The chase continued, with the nomad pulling the same stunt it always did: jumping between the pack and the Cullens. However, Emmett was able to corner her. The nomad was closed in now, with the Cullens on her left and the pack on her right.
"It's Victoria!" Alice shouted. Then Rosalie crawled up the tree, grabbing the woman by her hair. The pack snarled as she threw the nomad to them with a vice-like grip the Pack proceeded to tear the newborn apart and the Cullens burned the body right
"It's finally over!" Emmett cried out in relief.
"Focus." Carlisle's reprimanded. They turned as one of the wolves turned back human.
"The nomad is dead. You all can move away." the man sneered.
"We would like to stay until my children graduate. To keep up appearances of course. " Carlisle assured.
"You mean you want to stay around to see if Bella Swan still wants the mind reader." the wolf spoke. Carlisle winched internally, the wolf was right. That was exactly what they wanted.
" we have not interacted with Bella because of her father warning for us to stay away. Apparently he had grounded her. We will respect his wishes for now but the moment she is free, we will see her."
An angry snarl was heard from a large russet wolf. It was bigger then the rest.
The man waved a hand for silence and said " you stay on your side of the treaty and we will stay on ours. If Bella swan is bitten their will be trouble."
With that said the wolves slipped into the forrest. However, the russet wolf stayed glaring at them until they left the boundary line.

February 14
"You two have to tell him." Charlie admonished the two young adults at the dinner table. They were currently, in the blacks home for thier biweekly dinner. It seemed however both Bella and Jacob were in somber moods. Jacob then reached over holding Bella's hand in his own.
"We will charlie. But we have something to tell you as well."
When the couple told charlie about their nuptials, he had been calm and happy. Although he did pull his shot gun out on jacob threating him to take care of his little girl.
"Alright I got it! My famous sugar free chocolate cake." Billy sang as he rolled into the dining room.
It had been one month since Bella told Jacob she was pregnant and the latter had taken his role as soon to be husband and father very seriously. When he wasnt with the pack, or helping the tribe, he was in his garage working on the police cruisers. And at least every other day,he was checking on his wife. They werent married yet but thats how he saw her. His wife and mother of his unborn child.
Bella was now two months pregnant and her morning sickness was ten. Alongside her frequent moodchanges. She would butcher anybody who got on her nerves with a sledge hammer if she could.
"Oh man Billy this is great!" charlie cheered as he side eyed his duaghter and future son in law.
Jacob took a bite of his cake and then sat up as he looked at his father with serious eyes.
"Dad, we have something to tell you."
His father eyebrows lifted as he looked at his son and then at Bella.
"Whats up?"
"Dad, Ive asked Bella to marry me and she said yes. I asked charlie for her hand and he agreed."
"With conditions.." Charlie interrupted.
"I'm sorry hold up. You meant to tell me you asked for my hand in marriage from my father?" Bella angrily asked Jacob. "Jacob Eprapham Black! I am no mans property! What if dad had said no?"
"Take a breath honey." Jacob soothed. " I would have asked you even if he said no. it wasnt so much about getitng his permission it was about giving him respect. That was all and if you must know he would only agree if you said yes. So dont go worrying that pretty little head of yours stress isnt good for our baby."
At that exact moment charlie and Billy began to sputter and cough on their chocolate cake.
"Pre-pregnant!" both mean exclaimed.
Jacob sighed in annoyance.
"yes charlie, yes dsd, Bella is going to be my wife and she's carrying my child. Your grandchild."
"Jacob Black! How could you have been so irresponsible!" Billy exclaimed
Jacob Shrugged.
"Thier is no take full responsibilty for our actions. We were both feeling pretty upset and we got caught up in the moment. If it helped we used protection but, things went sideways."
"And we have a plan. Jake already had his G.E.D and is working for the police force fixing up their old cars. I on the other hand will graduate in may, take online classes and work part time at newtons until the baby comes."
"And if you two ask us where are we going to live? We found a small cabin on the reservation not too far from the house. It belongs to richard clearwater,Harrys brother. He's going to lease out to us for 100 dollars a month until I finish the contract with the police force. Once I finish that he will sign the mortgage over to us. With bells and I both working will we be able to save money and live in the cabin."
Charlie and Billy looked at each other and then back at their children.
"Well… it seems you to really do have your ducks in a row." charlie commented.
"I just have one question?" Billy asked.
However, Jacob shook his head.
"Dad if your going to ask us when the wedding is , our answer is not right now. We are going to do this at our pace."
Billy however cocked his head to the side and stared at his son.
"Oh ho, no you dont Jacob black. Do you forget that you are not just some 17 year old teeanager who knocked up his girlfriend, didnt even know you two were dating by the have responsibilities young man, not just to yourself but too htis tribe! You are our future chief! Our future leader, think about the other boys! They follow you jacob. You and Bella are going to have to marry asap. You cant make this family look bad."
Jacob stood shaking in anger.
"No. I refuse, i have lived my whole life under this tribe! Its no fair dad! How many other men on this reservation have done the same thing I have and they dont have to deal with this I-"
"I'll do it jake." was Bella's soft voice.
Jacob looked at her in confusion. "What ? Bells no! You shouldnt be forced-"
"Jake I'm not be ing forced to do anything i dont want to do. We both knew that this wouldnt be easy. You proposed to me because we were in love, not because i was pregnant. The baby just speeds some things up. I'll marry you not becuase of pressure but becuase I love you jake. You have sacrificed so much for me, this si the least I could do. I want to do this."
"But bells," Jacob began as he sat down. " You have no Idea what it means to be the chiefs wife! Its a huge responsibility."
"A responsibility that I can learn jake.." Bella placated. And think about it this way. Us being married will finally shut the cullens up. Its annoying having to hide form them during school. So hopeful they move on after all this."
"Its settled! You two will get married next month! You can decided on a date!"
With that said Billy ate his cake with gusto.
Charlie however frowned in displeasure.

"You two sure about this? You don't have to rush despite what billy says." Charlie said as they stood outside the black home. He and Bella were just about ready to head home. Jake kissed Bella's knuckles as they looked at each other.
" No,we understand. Were not exaclty a normal young adult couple. We have responsiblities." Was Bellas answer.
"Well alright then. You know i support you both. Cant believe I'm gonna be a grandpa. Jacob black you and I will be having another conversation in the future young man." Charlie warned.
"Sure. sure right honey. I love you. Both of you. Get some rest." Jacob said as he kissed Bella's forehead.
"I love you more jake. Get some rest too."

It was 3 am when Charlie was awoken by a gut wretching scream. He immeidlay stumbled to his daughters bedroom, fumbling for the light.
"BELLA?"he shouted.
"Daddy! Thiers so much blood!" she cried.
Charlie felt his heart drop at the site. Blood was covering his duagters legs and sheets.
"No, no, no, please." Bella begged to no one.
"Alright now, take a deep breath babygirl. We are gonna get you to a hospital!" charlie urged as he picked her up, running down the stairs and to his cruiser.
"Daddy! Call Jacob! And please daddy! Dont let Carslile touch me! I dont want him as my doctor!" Bella shreiked.
"You just keep breathing babygirl! I'm gonna get us there!"
Charlie turned his lights on and drove like a madman

Jacob groaned and sat up covered in sweat.
Something was wrong with Bella. Something was terribly wrong
…
Dr. Gerandy was just about ready to finish his rounds when a nurse came running .
"Dr! We need you! Chief Swan and his daughter are in the E.R ! Shes bleeding heavily! And apparently she's two months pregnant."
Without hesitation, he was by isabella's side at max speed.
"Dr. Gerandy! Dont let Dr. cullen touch me!" and then she passed out.
"I need an iv and fluides stat! Lets her In!"
….
"Charlie!" a desperate voice called. Charlie looked up as he saw jacob and Billy. It had only been fifteen minutes and was literally dialing their numbers.
"Charlie whats wrong with Bella? Is the baby ok!?" jacob asked in a panic.
"Jake? Billy? How did you too get here so fast? Never mind look Bells was admitted fifteen minutes ago. She was bleeding heavily when she woke up."
"No.." Jacob cried in despair, collasping in a nearby chair.
"Son we dont know for sure, it could be anything." was Billy's answer. As he put a hand on his sons shoulder.
Jacob however feared the worst.

An hour later, Dr. Gerandy appeared, looking exhausting but hopeful.
"Charlie?" he called. All three men were on alert as he approached them.
"Doc? How is she?" Charlie asked.
"Shes a lot better. We were able to stop the bleeding." He then looked toward Jacob. "Is it safe to assume your the father?"
"Yes? Is Bella ok? Our baby?" Jacob asked with tear stained eyes.
"Mommy and baby are doing just fine." Dr. Gerady assured him. " it turns out Bella has Hemophilla. So we will have to keep a close watch on her. It makes sense looking back on her record. Her bruising so easily and what not. Give me another twenty minutes and I'll send a nurse to get you all."
"Oh thank taka aki." Billy praised.
Jacob held his head in his hands. However, he stiffend when the scent of vampire reached his nose.
"NO!" was his angry snarl.

Dr. Gerandy gently wiped Bella's forehead with a cool towel. He had sent the nurses away so he could have a word with her. He hadnt failed to noticed the vampire bite on her arm and a red haze filled his vision.
Vampires had taken away his family, he wouldn't allow Bella to go through the same thing.
" Dr.G? Is my baby ok?" Bella groaned as she opened her eyes.
"Babies actually Bella but yes. They are perfectly fine. You just had a medical emegency with internal bleeding. We will keep watch on you and make sure all of you get through this. Now I know your tired but I want to talk to you about the cullens. Did a vampire bite you Bella? Is that where this scar came from?"
Bella didn't respond but he could see the fear in her eyes.
"Dont you worry Bella. I will take care of it."

Jacob was ready to strangle the Doctor and the seer . How dare they show up here and ask questions about his wife.
"Please charlie, we just want to see Bella."
Before Charlie could raise his voice Dr. Gerandy made his presence known.
"Dr. cullen, if you and your duagter could come see me. Its an emergency. Chief swam a nurse will take you and your guest to Bella."
Dr. gerandy was slow in his pace, but his silence spoke volumes.
The minute they were his office, he turned on the cullens.
"I believe you and I need to have a conversation. I know exactly who and what you me give you a very important reason to leave forks and never come back."
It was then two vampires came out the shadows.
"Now Dr. cullen what would the volturi think about you fraternizing with vladimir and stephan of the romanian coven hmmm?"

March 20th
"Bells? We dont have to do this. You know that right?" Jacob asked from the other side of the door. Today was thier wedding day. It had been a whirlwind of busyness for the both of them. The day after Bella was released from the hospital, the cullens packed up and left didnt even stay for the rest of thier highsschool career but that was know sweat off his back or Bella's. She was glad they were gone too. To add a cherry on top the Cullens home suddenly burned down at random. It was crazy and yet It had all worked
out for their benefit. With the cullens gone the pack wouldn't have to phase as much.
"Jake. stop trying to talk me out of marrying you. I love you with every ounce of my being. I want this. I want you and I want our children. So go away and let me finish getting ready." she told him softly.
"Alright, I love you honey."
"I love you jake."
A few minutes later Bella was walking down the aisle on the beach bearfoot with charlie on her arm.
Today was a day she would remember for the rest of her life.
The day she married Jacob Black.
Neither of them would regret it.
