Author Notes: I don't own Chuck.

Sarah and Chuck went to the hotel AEGIS arranged for them to stay at, Hôtel Louvre Saint-Honoré in Paris. The hotel was nice, hell it was amazing. The rooms were spacious and had a great view. Sarah and Chuck went into their rooms so they can sleep until the next morning, when they needed to board a plane back to LA.

Chuck however couldn't sleep. He had a lot of things on his mind. What was Shaw planning? What was Hannah's mission? What will happen now that him and Sarah worked for AEGIS? But probably the most important question on his mind was : Could he fix his relationship with Sarah? While trying to figure out what to do, Chuck heard someone knocking at the door. He got up from the bed and went to the door. He opened it. It was Sarah.

"Can we talk?" she asked.

"Sure." asked Chuck. He didn't knew what to say. What was Sarah wanting to talk to him about? It was most likely a mission. But Chuck still wanted to figure out a way for them to be together, but first he needed to fix things between the two of them.

Sarah entered Chuck's room. Both of them stared at each other for a few seconds.

"Chuck I can't lie to you. Not anymore. I love you!" said Sarah as she was watching Chuck to see how he responds.

Chuck was surprised. She loved him.

"I… I thought you hated me… after Prague…" said Chuck barely finding his words.

Sarah smiled at him.

"I tried to hate you, but I can't. I can't hate you, Chuck. And, yes, I was mad about Prague, but I wasn't mad at you, I was mad at me. If I told you how I felt before…" said Sarah

"I still would've uploaded the new Intersect." said Chuck

"So you are telling me that even if you and me were together, that if you knew I chosed you, not Bryce, you still have uploaded the Intersect?" asked Sarah

"I don't know. Ok? I saw Bryce dead, you and Casey were surrounded, I thought I could used the Intersect as leverage. I never expected the skills. After the whole thing I thought I was back at being an asset, and that we won't have any chance of being together, especially after you went rougue and help me find my father. When Beckman said she wanted to make me a spy all I saw was a chance for us to be together." said Chuck

"And what was Prague? Me and you running away?" asked Sarah angry. She didn't wanted to be angry, but she couldn't help it.

"If we ran together in Prague, if I came with you, then I wouldn't have saw Ellie and Morgan again. And Beckman? She would've sent Casey to hunt us. And when they found us, because it wasn't a question of if they found us, they would've killed you. I know what I did in Prague hurt you, but I didn't saw any other way." said Chuck

Sarah realized this. At that moment she didn't thought about it, she wanted to be with Chuck, but now she realized that her idea was far away from reality. She never stood a chance. All of her anger evaporated. The only thing she felt was now was desire. The desire to be with the man she loved. She got closed to Chuck and she pressed her lips on his. The kiss was tender, but the emotion both felt was visible.

At first Chuck was thinking to pull away, as he didn't want to take advantage of Sarah, but he didn't. Sarah pushed him on the bed and in matter of seconds she found herself above Chuck's body. The two looked at each other after the kiss ended.

"We shouldn't do this." said Sarah.

Chuck's face displayed the sadness he felt after hearing what Sarah said.

"Chuck don't take this the wrong way. I am not happy with this either. But tomorrow we have an early flight. And then we have to meet with Shaw and Casey. We need to sleep." she said

"You're right." said Chuck visibly dissapointed.

"Can we share the room?" asked Sarah. "I don't want to be alone."

"Sure." said Chuck, thinking about their time in Barstow.

The two shared the bed as both of them went to sleep. Chuck couldn't stop thinking about what happened. Was he dreaming? Was this real?

Meanwhile in LA it was 8 in the morning. Devon and Ellie woke up early. They need to clean up the house as soon they will get a visit from Social Services. Today was the first of the trial week having to take care of Emily (Mily). Of course Ellie was pretty determinated, so this was 100% no trial, they were going to adopt Emily no matter what.

"Ellie, I… I am not sure about this." said Devon

"Not sure about what?" asked Ellie

"About the adoption." said Devon. He was stepping on a mine with only that sentence, but then again, because of Chuck secret, his entire relationship with Ellie was a mine field.

"Devon I know it scary. But you won't have to worry. We are going to adjust pretty easy. Life is full of changes." said Ellie. "Now please go and bring out the broom. We need to make this place perfect."

Devon did as Ellie told him. "Not Awesome, Chuck! Your secret is so annoying!" thought Devon

Morgan and Big Mike were at the FBI local office to meet with Dawn.

"You know son, whoever did this unspeakble crime, should pay! Because of this whole thing I am losing my free day of fishing." said Big Mike

"I am glad your priorities are in order Mr. Tucker" said Dawn as he come from behind them.

"Sorry for this Dawn, Big Mike is a little bit obsessed with fishing." said Morgan

"So your plan to catch whoever it is behind our fake identity problem, is to use these two idiots. We are screwed!" said Nathan Montana.

"Excuse my partner. He doesn't have social skills. Now from what we know someone has created fake identities using Emmet Milbarge's name for every employee at the Burbank Buy More. We don't know who is responsible and why he did this. Can you tell me if there's any person with the necessary skills to pull something like that? We are talking about some serious experience with computers." said Dawn

"Well I don't know. Most of those idiots can't do anything. They usually barelly do what they've told to do." said Big Mike

"Big Mike is right, the Buy More barelly stands on the ground with the people we have to work with. As far as it goes the only people with the type of experience you are asking for are Chuck, Lester and Dave. Sometimes maybe Jeff as well." said Morgan

"Ok so let's focus those four. What can you tell us about them?" asked Nathan

"Chuck's the Nerd Herd supervisor. He started working for the Burbank Buy More after he was expeled from Stanford for cheating. The boy is extremly smart, but he keeps his head in the clouds for most of the time. He is probably the most sane person in the store. The only one who actually works." said Big Mike

"He is a promising suspect." said Nathan

"He isn't. I know him personally. While he surely has the ability to pull off something like this, he won't do it. We can bring him in, but trust me, it would be a waste of time." said Dawn

Nathan didn't agree, but he decided to keep his mouth shut.

"What about this Dave?" asked Dawn

"Well he is new. Big Mike hired him 7 months ago. He is smart, but lacks people skills. He spends most of his time fixing computers in the cage. We don't talk with him. Not even Chuck talks to him. The dude is really creepy, even by Buy More standards." said Morgan

"Smart, lacking social skills, spends most of his time isolate from other people and he works with computers." said Dawn while looking at Nathan.

"He fits the profile." responded Nathan.

"I guess we have a suspect." said Dawn

"You two, go back to the store. Act like everything is normal and keep an eye on Dave if possible. Don't let him out of your sight, but also don't let him suspect anything. Me and Agent Spencer will try to find something to bring him for questioning. Understood?" said Nathan

"Yes. We're on it!" said Morgan

Inside Castle, John Casey was spending his time cleaning his weapons. He also was watching video surveilence. He saw a girl entering Castle, and not any girl. It was the person who sat next to Bartowski in his flight to Paris.

Casey stood up, took his gun andwent to meet her. There were two possibilities here: Shaw or AEGIS. If she was with AEGIS, then there's no problem. If however she was with Shaw, then there was a problem.

Casey exited the room where he was and stood in front of Hannah. Casey didn't trusted Shaw.

"Who are you?" asked Casey.

"Colonel, I see you meet the new member on our team. This Agent Hannah Quinn." said Shaw as he came down in the base.

"Nice to meet you." growled Casey. He immediately left. He needed to talk with Chuck and Sarah.

Meanwhile in Paris, Sarah and Chuck where at the airport waiting to get on board of the plane, when the AEGIS phone Chuck had started ringing. Chuck looked at Sarah, and Sarah signaled him to answer it, as nobody could hear them.

"Hello?" answered Chuck

"Agent Carmichael, this is Phoenix, AEGIS has a new mission for you and Agent Walker. Return to the hotel, you are going to stay in Paris for one more day." said a distorted voice on the phone. The call ended.

"We need to return to the hotel." said Chuck to Sarah.

"Why?" asked Sarah surprised.

"A new mission from AEGIS. Phoenix didn't gave out details." said Chuck

"Ok, let's go. But let's not move fast, we don't want to attract attention." said Sarah

Back in Castle, Casey, Shaw and Hannah were on call with the General.

"Agent Shaw, first I have to say that I am not happy with you. You sent Agent Carmichael on a solo mission without all details, and you didn't metion anything about another CIA agent on the plane." said Beckman furious

"General, I like to start by saying that Agent Quinn here, is fully briefed on the Intersect Project, her father was actually a candidate for the Intersect, but that didn't work out. I asked her to join the team as I trust her and I vetted her. She is not with The Ring, and we need more people if we are to cut the head of the beast. The reason for her being on the plane was to oversee and if necessary intervene to help Agent Bartwoski. I didn't revealed all the details, because I didn't have all the details. I only learned about the second Ring agent from Hannah once she landed in Paris." said Shaw

Beckman wasn't convinced. And knowing that Orion didn't trusted Shaw, made Beckman even certain that there was more to Shaw motives than just his obsession with The Ring.

"I like to add that Agent Bartowski, drugged me." said Hannah

"It is possible he may have saw through you cover and didn't knew if you are Ring or not." said Beckman

"I also have motives to think there was another agent on the plane." said Hannah

"That I can confirm! AEGIS had already put eyes on the information Hugo Panzer carried for The Ring. They sent an agent with the codename Phoenix to retrieve the information." said Beckman

"General what is AEGIS exactly?" asked Casey

"AEGIS is a network of spies we created with the help from UK and France. They were created as response for Fulcrum." said Beckman

"So they are active for some time now. Why did they only recruited Bartowski and Walker to their ranks?" asked Shaw

"I don't know." said Beckman smiling. She was lying. Both Casey and Shaw saw that. Hannah was a newbie so she wasn't as experienced as Shaw described her.

Shaw knew he had zero chances to make the General talk.

"In any case I have a mission." said Beckman

"Bartowski and Walker are not here." said Casey

"I know. AEGIS has informed me they also have a mission. In fact the two missions are connected. AEGIS has identified a massive player in the criminal world. Someone who has helped the Ring rise to power." said Beckman

"Who?" asked Shaw

"Martin Kowambe. He is a scientist from Zammibia. Apparentely, he also works for the Ring. Dr. Kowambe is coming in LA for a medical conference at Westside Medical. I want you three to capture him. AEGIS has confirmed that one of his teeth have information that The Ring needs. The information is related to his experiments." said Beckman

"And what will Walker and Bartowski do?" asked Hannah

"Not that is any of your business, agent Quinn, but Agent Walker and Agent Bartowski are going to locate another scientist who can help us learn more about Kowambe's research." said Beckman. The call ended

Shaw and Hannah looked surprised by how the meeting went. Shaw didn't planned on Beckman being so hostile. Until now he could do whatever he pleased as he had the Inner Circle's political connections, but now Beckman had the support of AEGIS. This was bad for him and Hannah.

"What do you two idiots are doing? Did you not heard the General? We have a mission! Let's go!" said Casey visibly grumpy. He loved the fact that Shaw was getting pushed back into his corner by the General and AEGIS, but what Casey didn't liked was that his two partners, the ones that he cared about, had missions without him. Casey was the big fat kid and he hated it.

In Paris, Chuck and Sarah returned to the hotel, where they used Sarah's laptop to contact Bryce.

"Sorry for taking so long to answer, I needed to make sure the connection was secured enough for a video call." sai Bryce

"Bryce I have Chuck with me so I think the call it's pretty secure." said Sarah.

"We agree with you Sarah, but we are fighting both The Inner Circle and The Ring." said Stephen

"Ok so what's the mission?" asked Chuck.

"One of our agents has identified Martin Kowambe, Zamibia's most respected scientist as a Ring agent." said Bryce

Chuck flashed.

After the flash ended Chuck said "His tooth. One of his teeth contains information about his research for the Ring."

"We know that. Kowambe's in LA. He has a conference at Westside Medical. Casey, Shaw and the new agent Shaw recruited for the team are going to retrieve the data on the tooth." said Stephen

"New agent?" asked Sarah

"The girl that sat next to Chuck in the plane." said Bryce annoyed

"At least tell me that we have something about her at least. I don't like the idea of Shaw taking over the team." said Chuck

"Her name is Hannah Quinn" said Stephen

Chuck flashed.

"The daughter of CIA agent, Nicholas Quinn. Her father was a candidate for project Intersect, but after Bryce sent it to me he got captured. After that he became unstable, he developed an obsession with the Intersect. When the second Intersect exploaded he was supposed to be in that room, but some people questioned if he was stable enough to be a candidate. Graham was the only one who wanted him as an Intersect. After that Nicholas Quinn got fired. He went into the private sector, while his daughter, Hannah became a spy. Her results at the farm are not something amazing. In fact the only reason she became a spy was the fact that she was good with computers, she is a strategic thinker like her father, and she is amazing with seduction missions. She however lacks in combat skills." said Chuck as the flash ended

"So she's a legacy. We may need to keep an eye out for her father if he is obssesed with the Intersect." said Bryce

"I agree, but for now let's focus on the task at hand." said Stephen

"Ok, Casey and the rest will recover Kowambe's research, but we need someone who can understand that research. And I think we found out someone who may be capable to do exactly that, as she worked on a similar research for Fulcrum." said Bryce looking a bit apologetic.

"Wait! Fulcrum? Why the hell a Fulcrum scientis will agree to help us? Isn't Fulcrum and The Ring one and the same?" asked Chuck

"Yes, but we hope you can convince the scientis in question to help us. Her name is Jill Roberts." said Stephen

Sarah looked at Chuck. She knew that when it came to Jill, Chuck wasn't in a good mindstate. In fact not even her, was capable enough to deal with Jill. Sarah hated Jill. She hated her for breaking Chuck's heart, twice. Sarah just hoped that her nerd can deal with meeting Jill once more.

"Do you know where she is?" asked Sarah

"In Paris. She goes by the name Madeline Emer. That's all we know." said Bryce

"So we are looking for my ex while she is the needle in the haystack?" asked Chuck

"Not quite. AEGIS has predicted that there's a 67% chance for Dr. Roberts to be at this event." said Stephen. On Sarah's laptop appeared a photo with the name of charity gala throwed by someone named Vivian McArthur.

After seeing Vivian's name, Chuck flashed.

"Son, what did you flashed on?" asked Stephen

"The name of the person who throws the party. Vivian McArthur? Her real name is Vivian Vulkoff. The daugther of Alexei Vulkoff." said Chuck

At the mention of Alexei Vulkoff's name, Stephen's face became horrofied.

"Stephen is everything ok?" asked Sarah noticing that Stephen's reaction.

"Alexei Vulkoff and I have a past. It's a long story. All I can say is that if his daughter is a smart and ruthless as him, you need to be careful. Bryce I want to go to Paris and help them." said the old Bartowski.

"I don't think it's a great idea" said Sarah

Stephen looked at Sarah puzzeled.

"Chuck's Intersect is affected by Chuck's emotions right? Well I am pretty sure that having Bryce on a the same mission with me will pretty much make the Intersect to stop working." said Sarah

"She's right." said Bryce remebering how insecure Chuck was around Bryce after Stanford.

"Ok, but if you are only the two of you, be careful!" said Stephen

"Ok, dad. Can you make sure we are on the list of guests?" asked Chuck

"Yes. I can do that. The names will be John and Ava Smith." said Stephen. The call ended.

"My dad is pretty scared of this Vulkoff guy." said Chuck

"I am not surprised. I just heard rumors about Alexei Vulkoff. He is one of the, if not the most dangerous people on the planet. Every intelligence agency hunted him. Nobody got close. Most people died. He is ruthless. I am surprised he has a daughter through." said Sarah

"Why? I mean even bad guys have families, right?" asked Chuck

"Chuck, Alexei Vulkoff is… well the worst of the worst. I am surprised you didn't flased on him, if you did you'll understand that Vulkoff is a monster." said Sarah

"Maybe his daugther is I don't know… less monstrous" said Chuck smiling

"You know you are a goof right?" said Sarah

"Does it bother you?" asked Chuck

"No, because you're my goof! Don't ever change who you are Chuck." said Sarah and after that kissed him.

After the kiss ended Sarah said "We may need to talk to your father about us. And the fact we only need one room."

"Sarah, listen I think we need to talk about us." said Chuck

Sarah froze. She faced a lot of dangerous people and she was never as scared as she heard Chuck telling those words. She finally understood how he felt when she was the one telling him that they needed to talk.

"It's this going to go somethere? Us I mean. I love you and I want to be with you, but after everything…" started Chuck

"Chuck, our fake relationship meant more to me than the relationship I had with Bryce. I love you. Everytime I see you with someone else… I… I was so jelous. I wanted you so much. I still want you. I love you. Nothing is going to change how I feel about you. I'm just scared that once you will get to know me you will hate me." said Sarah

"Sarah I can't hate you." said Chuck

"You know, once we get back in Burbank I want us to start having a real relationship." said Sarah

"I love the sound of that." said Chuck

"Yeah, me too." smiled Sarah.

Ellie and Devon passed with success the inspection from Social Services. After that Ellie brought Emily to the aparment and showed her the room where she was going to stay.

"Do you have anything you need? Do you need help with your things?" asked Ellie as the tour was over.

"Apart for my clothes and my laptop I don't have anything. However I will like the password for the wifi." said Mily

"Yeah, sorry about that. You will need to wait until my brother returns home, he is the only one who knows the password." said Ellie

"Your brother lives with you?" asked Mily surprised

"No. He has an apartment in Echo Park. He is our neighbour. Which is useful when you don't know anything about technology." said Ellie

"What does he do for living? Develops games?" asked Mily jokingly

Devon became tense when he heard the question and Mily observed that.

"He works at the Buy More. Repairing computers." said Ellie

"You sound dissapointed." said Mily

"Well he is smart, but lacks courage to see what else it's out there. He could a lot more, but he decided to stay working for that store." said Ellie

"Well if you see him ask him about the password." said Mily not wanting to look nosy.

"Sure thing" said Ellie

Mily started going back into her new room when Ellie stopped her.

"I don't have any cooked food today so we are ordering take-out. Do you want anything?"

"Pizza Vegetarian." said Mily

"Ok. I am go to let you go now and I will call you when we get the pizza." said Ellie

"Thanks" said Mily and sfter that she retreated into her room.
