The Mission

Malfoy Manor

Lucius Malfoy was sitting in his armchair, a scowl on his face. Going over the meeting he had with Professor Uzumaki. He was no fool. He knew who this man was. Being in the ministry had its perks. He had heard talks of a prodigy from Hufflepuff. Starting his fifth year and becoming a monster duelist. Taking on Jack Napier, dubbed the Soul Stealer. He has heard of his exploits in creating news potions. The photo-Syn Potion which was his first one. Then he created one to reverse loss of memory. He created one to mend broken bones, another one to turn petrification back to flesh. Oh, Lucius was aware of this Professor's power as he was in the room during a debrief of one of his missions. His eyes widened as the Naruto presented thirty wands from one mission to deal with a poaching ring. Still the blond Malfoy thought he could bribe him with a small amount of his wealth. The reaction was unexpected. Slight irritation on the professor's face before he put that damn smile on. "Damn him," growled Lucius. "He had full control of the situation from the starts. I should have seen the trap, yet I didn't, and I fell for it."

A middle-aged female walks in. "You seem upset dear. Tough day at the ministry?"

"No. I had to talk to the new professor about our son," said Lucius. "Our son injured a mud blood and was given a month-long detention."

"How did that go?" asked the female.

"The professor is Naruto Uzumaki," said the blond.

The female eyes widen. "I assume it didn't go well?"

"No, it's like he was in control of the situation from the get-go," said Lucius.

"Not surprised," said the females. The man looks up. "After all he arrested my sister with no effort and without her even knowing what hit her."

"He took down Bellatrix?" asked Lucius fear in his eyes.

"Her and ten others. She was the lucky one," said the female. "I would recommend not provoking him.'

She walks away.

Naruto was currently reading an owl he got from Mrs. Longbottom. "He looks up and sees Draco walking back in. "Finished?"

"Yes Professor.'

"Very good. I heard your house is playing against Gryffindor in three days, correct?" asked Naruto.

"Yes, does not matter though. I got three more weeks of my detention," said Draco.

"I will allow you to go on that day, however; the days before and after you will still be serving your punishment," said Naruto.

"Thanks professor," said the young blond excited.

"Before you leave. I do have something for you to share with your house," said Naruto. He pulls out a small box. He opens it and shows a bunch of sweets, candy, biscuit and scones. "Take this to your house and share. Have a nice evening.

Naruto was heading to Dumbledore's office. Walking in, he sees Neville standing in front of the headmaster. "Albus," said the blond. "I see you requested Longbottom here also."

The student faces Naruto. "Professor.'

"I got a reply from Lady Longbottom. We will be going during my planning period to pick you up a wand," said Naruto.

"Did Gran give you enough money?" asked Neville.

"I refused to accept anything. Consider this an early Christmas Gift," said blond. "I will see you tomorrow."

Naruto watches the student leave. "Other business you have?" asked Albus.

"I have a mission from the ministry," said Naruto. "I am to hunt down a dark wizard that has been experimenting on Muggles."

"Do you know how many?" asked Albus.

"No just a general location and the situation," said Naruto. "I hate going in with no intel."

"Any backup?" asked Albus.

"No."

"Interesting," said Albus. "I wonder why?"

"Politics. The fact that they where Muggles who where missing had something to do with it," said Naruto. "I will be leaving in a few minutes.'

"Be safe.'

In the highlands of Scotland there was a big castle. The door gets closer as a brown-haired man was looking over the body of a thirty-year-old male and a blond-haired female of ten years "Bah. I do not know why that man is restricting me to only Muggles."

Looking around he sees ten men and females wearing dark robes. "Bring me another one," he demanded.

"Which one boss?" asked a male.

"The child," said the man. "Get rid of these Mud blood trash."

Outside a shimmer of a person is seen as it gets to the door. A hand is placed on the door by the figure. "Charmed to alert anyone if there are intruders," thought the figure. Looking up. "I wonder."

Getting inside the figure hugs the wall as he hears voice. "Our boss says to bring the child."

"I don't know why he's working with that thing," said another voice. Following the figures he comes to a door peering inside his rage bubbles as he witnesses a blond boy of five years being grabbed roughly "Stop crying you brat."

I want my daddy," said the child crying and sobbing.

"Don't worry brat, you will see him shortly," said the voice with a chuckle amused at the sight.

Grabbing from his pouch a knife the figure throws it at one of the men impaling him in the throat. The other man turns around. "The hell.'

He is quickly knocked out with his head being slammed against the wall. The figure revels itself as Naruto. He eyes the child and quickly hugs. "Shh, you will be ok," said the blond. Using a little Magic, he puts the child to sleep. "Poor child.'

Placing the child on the ground gently, Naruto turns to the unconscious man. Hatred burning in his eye. Pointing his wand at the man the blond forces himself into the man mind. With every atrocity committed hit contempt for the man grows. He does not find anything of value. With a quick flick of his wand Naruto uses the killing curse on the man taking him out immediately. Using a quick fire Jutsu he burns the body.

Lifting the child softly, puts the child's hand on the portkey he brough with him and the two disappears. Heading back into the castle, the blond starts his assault.

Later that evening after the two-hour slaughter of the castle leaving no survivors of twenty Dark Wizards and witches. Naruto is kneeling in front of two graves. His cloak and robes full of dried blood. The bodies of the Muggles are given the proper burial, and the site is charmed, so no one disturbs the resting place. With a sigh he gets up. "Now to figure out how handle the situation with the child."

He disappears and reappears in his small house at Hogsmeade. He sees the child sleeping on the ground where he was teleported. Lifting the child gently he carries him to a small room with a bed and places him in it. He then leaves the room. Ten minutes later two men walk in. One wore purple robes and was dark skinned. The other looked like he got beat with an ugly stick and then got run over by the Hogwarts express. "Glad you are here. Kingsly and Alaster."

"We got the notice you finished the mission," said Alastar as the magical eye looks around. He takes in Naruto blooded appearance. "You look like shit Naruto.'

"Keep it down. I was able to rescue a child," said Naruto. "I didn't give them a chance to surrender or fight back.'

"That only happens if they pissed you off," said Alaster. "Got something to do with the child?"

"Yes. Sole survivor of a father, daughter, and son," said Naruto. "What to do about the child.'

"Normally we erase his memory," said Alaster. "After that?"

"Racheal has connections for foster families," said Naruto. "We will place him in foster care for now."

"Kingsly, if you will," said Alaster.

Kingsly walks over to the poor sleeping child. "Poor thing lost his family in one night," he said. With a sigh he erases the child's memories of the day in captivity. "It's done."

"I will contact my wife and let her know the situation," said Naruto. The two Aurors leave as Naruto watches the child and starts to sob, knowing he failed the child.

Next day Naruto told Albus of the situation and asked for a day of absence. He went to the ministry and debriefed them of the situation. The leaders of the Magical Law enforcement looked ill from viewing Naruto memories. From what happened to the child and the parents to the slaughter after is unknown. Giving them all the evidence he gathered, he was thanked for his service and was released.

Naruto was disturbed by what he overheard. "Who where they working for?" he saw a letter signed by a Tom Riddle. "No one knows who this Tom Riddle is. I wonder if Albus would know."

He decided to talk to Albus about this, but first. He had to get Mr. Longbottom his wand.

A/N: So first things first. The minister of magic has made it legal for Aurors to use the unforgivable curses. Naruto is not a deputized Aurors, Naruto was given the same mandate. Two I am not sure who captured Bellatrix in the book but here it was Naruto. He also killed ten other Death Eaters in that battle.
