Izuku found himself a touch torn as he looked over his pile of free notebooks, caught between which one he'd be taking with him and how many books to bring for each student.

Two or three would be a good starting point but some of the kids would have more complex issues that Izuku wanted to address separately in addition to his analysis of their quirks potential uses in various branches.

Yaoyorozu for one would need a book for what he knew from previous counselors and their tests, what he observed from her in person, the questions he needed to ask and more importantly the problems she could face, plus a book for her training and diet.

Shouto would need special attention as well since he finally got his hands on the exact definition of what the boy's quirk was, the reading of which was an act of patience as Izuku was very tempted to call up the boy's previous counselors.

God, he hadn't ever wanted to slam his head to his desk since he read the boy's records.

Unfortunately though, they would only have so much time in the day, and he'd need to hold back from going off the deep end today and focus on the medically necessary tests and questions.

It wouldn't be fair of Izuku to spend an hour talking with them one-on-one with the other fourteen just waiting around outside.

So, Izuku would limit himself to just three books per student.

He gathered up the forty-five books and with a text to both Kurogiri and Shuzenji-San he sent the books on their way, so he didn't have to enlist his students to carry the notebooks.

Izuku stepped out of his quarters and was glad to see that the nine students of his class were already waiting for him by the door.

Though he guessed it was a bit too hopeful of him to think it wouldn't cause problems between the group.

Kirishima was also there though and seemed to be trying to mediate between Sadi-Chan and Iida.

Well, best to see what the conflict is about this time.

Izuku cleared his throat ensuring that all ten were aware that he was there and could see what was happening.

"Can I ask what is going on?" Izuku asked softly with his head tilted slightly.

Most of them seemed to freeze up where they were.

The three girls were standing off to the side where they had been uncomfortably watching, Shishida stood on the other side of Fumikage, Kirishima standing between the Sadi and Iida while Shinsou was trying to stay out of it from where he was behind Shishida.

"H-hi Deku-Sensei, just um, growing pains I think?" Kirishima said, a bit unsure himself and maybe downplaying things somewhat perhaps.

Sadi huffed, turning away and letting their beak up in the air.

"The only one with 'growing pains' is the meanie over there." Sadi told him, clearly referencing Iida with how they turned their back to him even more with their arms crossed.

Iida clearly looked flushed and stammered in response.

Izuku supposed he shouldn't be surprised that Sadi would have problems with how Iida was acting earlier, and from what Uki-Chan recounted that might mean that he'd need to have a one-on-one talk with the boy earlier than he thought he would.

But first he needed to address the immediate issue and prevent any road for future bullying based on Iida being 'mean' before.

"Sadi," Izuku said turning to them first "I understand you're frustrated with your classmate given past interactions, but that is no license to call someone names used purposely in a derogatory way." Izuku told them.

Sadi's feathers were puffed up with agitation, but they let their shoulders slump a little after Fumikage gave them a look.

"I know, I'm sorry Sensei." Sadi said after a moment.

"You should be apologizing to Iida as well, but you can do that after we sort all of this out." Izuku pointed out and Sadi didn't seemed too happy about that.

Izuku turned to Iida next.

"Iida, can you please tell what happened before I interrupted?" Izuku requested.

Iida avoided looking at Izuku directly, likely embarrassed as he once again was under his teacher's scrutiny, the boy hadn't been in trouble before now.

"You can start from when you first came down to wait if you prefer Iida." Izuku offered.

"Yes um, that is perhaps for the best." Iida agreed.

"I came down thirty minutes ago to wait for you to collect us," Iida explained and Izuku nodded prompting the boy to continue.

"Shishida joined me about ten minutes ago, my other classmates followed shortly after, and I intended to apologize to Shinsou-San for being so thoughtless with my words earlier." Iida further elaborated, his arm chopping.

Shinsou moving to hide a bit more behind Shishida while pretending that he wasn't paying them any attention.

"But I believe that my approach in retrospect was... also problematic." Iida bashfully said, looking down and away to the other side.

"You ran up to us, told us we were tardy and was shouting at Shinsou!" Sadi exclaimed angrily, making Iida wince.

Izuku sighed, practically seeing that the scene play out like it happened in front of him.

"Sadi bro calm down, Iida's heart was in the right place, he couldn't know that Shinsou's bad with loud noises." Kirishima said, stepping in again and trying to calm Sadi.

"That's cause most people know better than to shout at people." Sadi spitefully replied.

"Sadi," Izuku scolded and Sadi melted again though they didn't apologize.

"Iida, I am glad that you came to the conclusion that you should apologize to Shinsou for what you said earlier, but you may want to put more thought into how you go about making amends." Izuku told the boy.

"It is a good thing that you wanted to apologize and make things right as soon as possible, in the future though please consider time and place when you do, since you should take the person's comfort and boundaries in account when you try to apologize to them." Izuku further advised his student.

Because what Iida intended to do was a good thing, the delivery of that apology was the problem though.

"Yes Deku-Sensei, of course." Iida said nodding his head.

"Good, Shishida, Kirishima thank you both for trying to de-escalate things before I arrived." Izuku told the two boys.

"Of course, Deku-Sensei." Kirishima responded happy from the praise while Shishida looked a bit flustered from being acknowledged for his part in letting Shinsou hide behind him.

"We can discuss this later if either of you want to. But we have a schedule to keep, and I do not want to waste the time of the school nurse, are you all ready to go?" Izuku asked them.

"Yes Sensei." "Yes Deku-Sensei." nine of them replied, Shinsou merely nodded his head.

"All right, come along. We are going to pick up some of the students from 1-B as well." Izuku informed them before walking out of the dorms, his students trailing behind him as they walked over to the neighboring building.

Kirishima deciding to join them as well, which Izuku didn't have a problem with since the reason why was rather obvious to him.

Izuku was glad to see the six boys from 1-B were also waiting for him by the steps, seeing Aizawa-San there as well though made Izuku feel a bit dis-heartened.

Natsuo had warned him that Shouto would probably be uncooperative over the medical testing, because he had problems with his quirk and especially when people tried to but-in about how he used it.

All understandable from what Izuku knew their father put Shouto through and the screaming matches that Natsuo wouldn't tell him about.

So, in case Shouto tried to not go, Aizawa-San would go to collect him beforehand, and judging from the scowl on Shouto's face Aizawa-San definitely gave him a stern warning about ditching the medical testing.

"Good afternoon, Aizawa-San. Thank you for waiting with the students." Izuku said bowing his head slightly to Aizawa-San.

Aizawa-San hummed but didn't say anything else and then went back into the building.

"Now that we have everyone, we will go to the main building where the medical wing is for your tests. Did any of you meet Recovery Girl during the exam?" Izuku inquired as he walked backwards to the main building.

Izuku wished it wasn't necessary but he had to be sure that Shouto would be following him though.

The walk to the medical wing had gone by somewhat quickly, the conversation moving to how they were all settling in in their dorm rooms.

Problems with painting the walls or putting together furniture in their rooms, offers of help traded between them and advice for making the best of the space they were given traded freely.

Not everyone participated, Monoma had tried to be smug about how half of 1-A was going in but was relatively quiet when Izuku put a stop to that train of thought, but Kirishima still made sure that Monoma was involved in conversation and Kirishima even talked weights with Kamikiri.

Shouto was the only person that didn't talk at all.

That was fine, Izuku could understand where Shouto's prickly and cold demeanor since if anyone tried to press him about his black book he'd immediately raise his guard and not want to talk about it at all.

He was sure that Shouto would feel better once he saw Natsuo later after they were finished at the medical wing.

The medical wing had been prepared and more than one place was set up for the tests that Izuku discussed with Shuzenji-San would be needed with each of the students based on their possible needs depending on their quirks.

Natsuo had classes so it would just be himself and Shuzenji-San to do the tests for now, and Shuzenji-San had prepared with that in mind.

Izuku didn't see Shuzenji-San immediately and guessed she might be in the attached bathroom and took the time to address the students about what they'd be doing.

"As I'm sure you recall from the letter sent to each of you, there are some concerns about how your quirks could affect you in the future, so I, as a licensed counselor, and Recovery Girl will have you do some medical tests." Izuku reminded the fifteen students.

"You can ask any questions you have but most of you will be familiar with the tests we'll be doing, such as blood draws, checking your vitals and asking about your current diet." Izuku detailed next.

A few looked uneasy over the idea of having blood drawn bit but there were no protesting.

Shouto, while still frowning, looked to be a touch relieved after hearing that.

"I will also ask you questions specific to your quirk, and depending on your answers I will have additional tests run to confirm that you're healthy. To respect your privacy I'll ask those questions in private while Recovery Girl is conducting the general tests that all of you will be doing." Izuku elaborated, not missing the relief on Tokage's face when he mentioned the quirk specific things would be private.

Shouto's relief dried up and he was scowling again.

"Do any of you have questions currently that you'd like me to answer?" Izuku asked, trying to not focus just on Shouto's reactions.

Iida, Kaminari and Sero raised their hands.

"Kaminari?" Izuku picked.

"Um, I'm pretty sure I know why I'm here, but why were some of the others asked to come here?" Kaminari asked.

"Yeah, I was going to ask why I'm here, I haven't had problems with my quirk before." Sero brought up.

"I understand why some of you are confused, I won't specify in front of you all about why since that would violate HIPPA, but as a professional quirk counselor I did have some concerns that I believe have not been addressed by your previous counselors that could cause problems later in life, especially with how you'll be using your quirks in the future." Izuku answered.

"Iida?" Izuku called next since he didn't lower his hand.

"May I ask why all of us were asked to come at the same time and this day?" Iida inquired.

"The tests we'll be doing will take time for the results to come out and I'd like to have answers about my concerns before school starts, getting the samples though will be a relatively quick process that should be finished in a couple hours at most." Izuku informed the boy.

"Any more questions?" Izuku asked, and Kirishima raised his hand.

"Yes, Kirishima."

"Can I stay even though I don't need to be tested?" Kirishima questioned, his reason for asking to stay, again being rather obvious.

"If you want to stay as moral support I won't stop you." Izuku told him with a smile.

"Thank you Deku-Sensei!" Kirishima replied with a sharp-tooth grin.

The sound of one of the doors opening and closing was followed by the tapping of a cane as Shuzenji-San walked over to them.

Shuzenji-San entering sight after passing one of the curtains.

"Good afternoon Midoriya, glad to see you're on time." Shuzenji-San greeted.

"Of course Recovery Girl, who would you like to take aside first?" Izuku responded bowing to her before holding his hands behind his back.

Shuzenji-San hummed looking over the group of students, going over their records in her mind before making a decision.

"The Tokoyamis." Shuzenji-San picked, motioning for the boy to come with her.

Fumikage bowed to her before following Shuzenji-San to the area she set up for herself, a curtain all that hid the chair and medical equipment from the rest of the students' view.

"And I'll talk with Tokage first in the room over there, the rest of you please wait here or on some of the chairs over there." Izuku said, pointing to the small room then the benches for visitors.

Tokage timidly followed him over to the door while the others stood waiting for their turn or moved over to the benches to sit down.

Izuku held the door open then followed her inside, the door shutting with a soft click.

Next time I update, quirk science glory all from the students povs :)
