Peace.

When your world has been reduced to ash and rubble by nuclear war, what does a word like 'peace' even mean? For Hans Eckhart, it means a cabin on the shores of the Grosser Muggelsee, where he spends each day fishing, reading, tinkering, and trying to forget about the past.

The past has not forgotten about him, however. For in the shadows lurks an organization that, like many before it, seeks to restore stability and prosperity to Germany. But to what end? For peace, or for war?

On a quiet day, on a quiet shore, Hans will have a chance encounter that will put him back on a path to misery and death. All for a better tomorrow, he will tell himself, like he has time and time before. But when he realizes the stakes are unlike anything he's faced before he will once again be forced to ask himself a question that's been plaguing his conscience for years:

How far is too far?
