Chapter 6: Families Reunited

Mitsuki Bakugo was finally given the go-ahead to meet with Izuku's New Guardian, Who was in the hospital with him. The man Andrew, managed to arrange a meeting between the two. As well as give her an update on her godson Izuku. The second that Inko died she filed for adoption for him but was denied several times. She tried to go for a foster license next, But was denied the second they found out why she wanted to get it. She was this close to getting that license too but the quirkist bastards that run this God damn country wouldn't allow her to help her God Son. Defeated at every turn in the attempt to somehow take care of him, Mitsuki decided to help maintain his bills for the apartment. She also came over every day for a couple of hours.

But somehow this hero apparently adopted Izuku while in that death game and was able to get him under her foster care when they got out. She did not know if she was Supposed to be angry or grateful for the woman taking in Izuku who should have been her responsibility. Although she guessed it better that it happened this way. She was able to get his stuff before the apartment started selling it off. Bakuga was also not ready to have Izuku living with them. He just got out of the Juvenile Villain Rehab Program That he spent 2 years in.

She put him in that program the second that he bragged about how Izuku took his advice, and how he should never be a problem ever again since he was going to die in there. Hearing those words coming out of her son's mouth shattered her heart. At least the program seemed to straighten him out, especially since every time she brought up Izuku She would see the shame and self-hatred that was boiling in his eyes. She tried to get him to come and see Izuku today but he just went to his room without another Word. She didn't blame her son especially if what his therapist told her was true. The school seemed to have a huge discrimination against the quirkless and encouraged his behavior ever since elementary school. So if anything, it was The school's fault for pushing their Twisted views on her child and her fault for not seeing it sooner. She was quickly Dragged from her thoughts as she approached the door to the conference room.

Taking a deep breath she opened the door to the room and stepped in. The second that she did three sets of eyes landed on her. In the room with her was the man she knew as Andrew, A strange tired-looking hobo dude with a white scarf, and a mint green-haired woman who was pretty skinny sitting in a wheelchair.

Mitsuki guest that the Other Woman was the one who took in Izuku since she was way too skinny for a normal woman to be. Andrew had told her that most of the patients were suffering from Muscle atrophy and needed to rebuild their muscle mass. As such Izuku was going to need to go through intense physical therapy to regain his muscle mass. The only reason why Andrew was not in the same state as Everybody else was due to his quirk called perfect body. The quirk allowed him to constantly be in perfect physical shape and as such was incapable of losing any muscle mass like the other patients. It was why the authorities weren't able to hold him since they had no medical reason to do so as well as no legal reason.

Mitsuki really liked Andrew, he was a funny and decent guy. Perhaps she could ask him out on a date after this, after all being divorce really sucks. Her previous husband wasn't really happy about her wasting a lot of money on trying to hold on to Izuku's apartment and possessions. Especially when she had to take them to court which took a lot of money to do. Not to mention that she also put her brat in the villain rehab program which he was quite adamant against. It put a very thick wedge between their relationship to the point where she found out he was cheating on her with another woman. Shaking her head from those thoughts she sat down across from them and spoke up.

"Thanks for meeting with me." Mitsuki said as she gave a nervous smile.

"No problem, since I also wanted to meet you so I could thank you for attempting to hold on to Izuku's stuff. Which, I plan on reimbursing you for doing so. I cannot imagine how much money you had spent in court fees alone just to maintain a hold on his stuff." The green-haired woman said before realizing something.

"Oh, How rude of me. I am Emi Fukukado, this is my husband Shota Aizawa, and you already know Andrew." Emi said with a smile as she introduced her family.

Mitsuki found it odd that she didn't take her husband's last name. But if what she heard from Andrew was right they were Heroes. Perhaps they did not want the public to know so they could have their privacy. Whatever it was it didn't really matter and she had no right to pry so she let sleeping dogs lie.

"It's nice to meet you I'm Mitsuki Bakugo And there's no need for you to reimburse me. I have plenty of money due to my job as a hero costume designer." Mitsuki said, even though she was not lying about having too much money to know what to deal with. She was never one to accept handouts especially when she was just doing her Duty as Izuku's godmother.

"Okay before you meet Izuku there are a couple of things you need to know. The First one, is that I know what your brat did to Izuku, so he is not allowed near Izuku without my direct supervision or consent." Emi said causing Mitsuki to flinch. Seeing this her eyes narrowed as she continued.

"So you did know." Emi said Coldly.

"Found out the day he got trapped in that death game. I was so furious I sent the brat to a Juvenile Villain Rehab Program. He just got out last month. *Sigh* My brat hates himself because of what he has done to Izuku and I hate myself for not noticing sooner." Mitsuki said looking absolutely defeated and ashamed. Emi was shocked at the shift. A confident and strong woman entered this conference room and now in front of her was a woman that looked absolutely broken.

"Look, Izuku doesn't blame you, And frankly, I don't either. But actions have consequences and until I am certain I don't want him near Izuku without my supervision." Emi said but Mitsuki still looked pretty upset. Perhaps she could lift her spirits up a bit with some good news.

"you know what, I'll tell you something since You're going to find out about this anyway. You should be happy to know that Izuku is engaged." Emi said with a Cheshire grin. That seemed to do it as the woman's whole body immediately Lit up.

'Yep, that definitely did it.' Emi thought as the woman started bombarding her with questions.

Hospital Rehabilitation Center

Izuku was watching Rumi as she tried to walk with the help of the poles in the room. It was extremely difficult for Rumi thanks to the atrophied muscles in her legs. But like the woman Izuku knew she was, she did not give up and kept at it. It was only when she made her final lap that she slumped back into her wheelchair with a tired grown.

Izuku wheeled up to her with a grin as he took his steps out of the wheelchair to do his own laps. It became kind of a competition for the two to see how many laps they could do. Rumi was at 20 and Izuku was at 18 and he was determined to make it to 21. Izuku knew that Rumi had a habit of always putting at least five extra laps in. So Izuku guessed that if he just put one extra lap in between the two, he could win this competition that they were having. Izuku was on his 20th lap and he was about to make his 21st when the door to the room barged open and he was tackled to the ground By a crying Mitsuki.

"My Izuku is getting married; I am so happy for you." Mitsuki cried out in joy As she started to smother Izuku In her ample bosom.

"Hey, get off my fiance, you bimbo!" Rumi said with possessive fury Lacing her tone. This only caused a tick mark to appear on Mitsuki's forehead as she looked over to the Furious rabbit woman.

"Did you just call me a Bimbo?" Mitsuki asked, annoyed. She then got off of Izuku (which allowed him to breathe) and walked over to the woman.

"Damn right, I fucking did." Rumi said With a glare that Mitsuki matched, She also leaned down to match her eye level. For a minute, everybody thought they were going to start throwing Fists. And Aizawa was afraid that he was going to have to step in. But when the two smiled viciously at each other, it seemed to break the intense atmosphere.

"So your Izuku's fiance. Well, he does know how to pick them." Mitsuki said as she stood up.

"You must be his loudmouth aunt." Rumi said as she wheeled over to Izuku and helped him up to his wheelchair. Mitsuki just rolled her eyes at the light-hearted verbal jab.

"Hi, Auntie, I'm glad you could make it, This is Rumi Usagiyama, my soon to be wife." Izuku said as he grabbed hold of Rumi's hand.

"I am so glad to see you Izuku, and it's a pleasure to meet you Rumi." Mitsuki said with a smile. There was also a small, unnoticeable tear that rolled down her cheek.

Mitsuki was so happy and so relieved to see Izuku finally out of that game. But she missed two years of her godson's life due to that madman. And In those two years, he apparently picked up a feisty fiance. Honestly, Mitsuki could hardly believe it; who knew this was actually Izuku's type? Then again she could not believe how much Izuku had grown. The last time she saw him, he was a small and meek child who had dreams of becoming a hero. And now he's this strong and confident young man who ended up grabbing a feisty fiance. Seriously, if she could, she would throttle that bastard who took 2 years of Izuku's life away from her. But at least it was a happy ending and he was finally out of that death game. Sitting down on the bench nearby, Mitsuki started asking the two some questions in an attempt to make up for lost time.

A Day Later

Rumi and Izuku were in the gym yet again with Rumi on her 50th lap and Izuku passed out in his wheelchair. Rumi couldn't blame him, her mate got up to 48 laps before passing out and unlike him, she had enhanced leg strength due to her quirk. She was quite surprised that he was able to keep up with her this far, especially since she was about to call it quits herself. Her thoughts were cut off though as a knocking sound from the doorway caught her attention. Looking up she could see somebody that she was dying to see for 2 years now in the doorway. It was Ryuko Tatsuma also known as the Pro Hero Ryukyu, Her best friend and sister in all but blood. Grinning like a mad woman she made her way to her wheelchair and when she sat down she rolled herself over to her friend.

"So you finally showed up huh?" Rumi asked teasingly, Ryuko let out a wet chuckle at her teasing tone. She could not help the genuine and warm smile that graced her face as well as some tears.

"I Knew You would Somehow fight your way out of that game. God, I missed you so much Rumi." Ryuko said as she gave her friend a warm hug.

"Hey, what's our rules about tears, because you know if you start crying, I'm going to start crying." Rumi said as she attempted to hold back her tears. Ryuko let out a soft chuckle at that as she pulled back. She then wiped away her tears and sat down in one of the seats.

"Before I say anything else I need to apologize for trying to get you into that game, and that I wasn't there with you. Can you please forgive me?" Ryuko asked in a pleading tone. Rumi gave her another hug at those words.

"I never blamed you Ryuko. Plus if it wasn't for The fucking death game I wouldn't have met my mate." Rumi Said, When she pulled back she could not help but smirk at her friend's shocked face.

To say Ryuko was shocked was an understatement. Her friend made it very clear she would only consider somebody who could keep up with her and beat her in a fight. But now that she mentioned it, she could smell another scent on her. Snapping her head towards the source of the scent she saw a passed-out green-haired man, who seemed to be 4 possibly 5 years younger than Rumi. Looking back at her friend in shock she caught a happy smile on her friend's face. But before she could say anything in response to this roomie had dragged her over towards Izuku. Izuku hearing an unfamiliar stride and the squeaking of a wheelchair woke up immediately. With his hand reaching back to grab something out of reflex. Clearing his blurry mind he saw Rumi approaching with an unfamiliar face. Seeing his fiance he visibly relaxed in his wheelchair and gave her a warm smile before scratching his chin in embarrassment.

"How long was I out and who's your friend?" Izuku asked as his joints audibly popped as he stretched.

"Not long, maybe 5 minutes. It gave me enough time to beat my record. I was at 50 laps before Ryuko showed up." Rumi Said with a smile on her face causing Izuku to laugh At her competitiveness.

"I guess after your friend leaves I'm going to have to beat that number, am I? But anyway, I am Izuku and it's a pleasure to meet you Ryuko, Rumi told me a lot about you." Izuku said with a smile that seemed to light up the room. Ryuko could not help but let out a chuckle and a smile. Ryuko now knew for a fact that this man was a good fit for her friend.

"So tell me, Is he any good in bed?" Ryuko said with a Cheshire grin, making the two blush at her words.

'Yep, there definitely a good match.'
