One day the Lion Guard were patrolling the Pride Lands after a big rainstorm the previous night.
Beshte: Poa. Nothing better than the feel of squishy mud under your feet.
Fuli: Except maybe the feel of no mud under your feet.
Kion: After last night's big storm, I'm glad the mud is our only problem.
But what Kion didn't know was that Janja was spying on them.
Janja: That's what he thinks! Everything's going exactly as planned.
Cheezi: You mean you planned for the Lion Guard to be here?
Janja: No, I planned to go after those wildebeests. With all this mud, they'll never outrun us.
Chungu: Wait, you planned on the mud? (Gasps) Did you make it rain?
Janja: No, fur-brain! Look. We just got to wait for the Lion Guard to clear out… and now it's lunchtime. Come on, fellas! Uh-oh! Janja then slipped down the mud and into the Lion Guard. Well, look who it is, The Lion Guard! (Stammers) What are you guys doing in the Outlands?
Kion: Nice try, Janja. We both know this is the Pride Lands. And you don't belong here.
Janja: Yeah, yeah…
Just then Cheezi, Chungu, Nne and Tano all slided into the back of Janja.
Chungu: That was fun!
Janja: Come on, fellas, let's go. It's too muddy around here, anyway.
Cheezi: But, Janja, I thought you liked the mud.
Chungu: Yeah! Cause it slows down the wilde… the wilde…
Ono: Wildebeests?
Chungu: Yeah! Them!
Cheezi: We was gonna have them for lunch!
Janja: (Grunts) Fur-brains! Shh!
Kion: The mud might slow down the wildebeests. But I don't think it's gonna slow you down.
Kion then roared at the hyenas sending them back to the Outlands.
Janja: Get off of me, fur-brains! Another plan ruined! And do you know why?
Cheezi: Cause you slipped on the mud?
Chungu: And slided into the Lion Guard?
Janja: No! It's because of you two!
Cheezi and Chungu: Us?
Janja: That's right! Every time I come up with a brilliant plan, you two screw it up!
Cheezi: We do?
Chungu: Uh… I thought we screwed it up together.
Cheezi: Yeah! We're great at that!
Janja: (Groans) You know what? I can't take it anymore. You're both fired!
Janja then started to walk back to the volcano he turned around and saw that Cheezi and Chungu were following him.
Janja: Weren't you two fur-brains listening? I said you're fired!
Cheezi: We're on fire? Ahhh!
Chungu: I don't even smell smoke!
Janja: You're not on fire. You are fired! It means you're finished. You're done. You're through. I don't need you!
Cheezi: Of course you don't need us!
Chungu: Yeah! So, what's the new plan?
Janja: There ain't no new plan! You're not in the crew anymore! Get out of the Outlands! Before I kill the both of you!
Cheezi: Sure! (Chuckles nervously) No problem!
Chungu: Yeah. We're lost most of the team already!
Janja: Finally with those two gone, things were start to go well for us.
Back In the Pride Lands.
Fuli: Remind me again, why are we slogging through all this mud?
Kion: We gotta make sure all the trails in the Pride Lands are safe after the big rainstorm. Uh oh! And that includes this one! Mudslide! Everybody! Run!
Ono: Hapana!
Bungu: Hyah!
Fuli: Okay. So this trail isn't safe.
Beshte: But this is the main path from Big Springs to Mekundu Cliffs. Everyone uses it!
Kion: So we'll need to clear it and make it safe again. Ono, Bungu, keep everyone off this trail till we're done.
Ono: Affirmative!
Bungu: You got it, Kion!
Kion: Fuli, Beshte. You're with me. We have to get all these trees and boulders off this trail.
Beshte: Sure thing!
Fuli: Well if I have to get muddy, might as well do it for a good cause!
Beshte: That's the spirit, Fuli!
Meanwhile back at the volcano Janja was explaining his latest plan to his remaining clan mates Nne, Tano, Sita, Saba, Astia and Nane.
Janja: All right, you guys, listen up. Now with those 2 fur-brains gone things were get done easy around here.
Nne: Janja the last plan failed because you slipped on the mud.
Tano: Yeah it wasn't Cheezi and Chungu's fault.
Sita: Yeah Janja they're right.
Janja: No talking right now! And it was those 2 fur-brains, also I'm about to explain the plan. This is a herd of antelopes.
Saba: That's just a bone.
Janja: Shh! First we're stamped them in this direction. And the Lion Guard comes in and runs off after the antelopes.
Astia: Oh I know where this is going! And then we come home hungry like always!
Nane: Yeah Janja the Lion Guard always end up beating the crap out of us.
Janja: No, see, you guys were keep the busy after they run off after you, I find a herd of oryxes. And I'll chase them in a different direction than I'll caught them over here, while the Lion Guard's still busy with the antelopes over there! And chasing you guys. Alright you guys prepare yourselfs later today we're carry out the plan.
When Janja left them, Nne spoke up.
Nne: I don't get why Janja had to do this and take the 6 of us Cheezi and Chungu into this.
Tano: Yeah I know.
Sita: I know he's upset about what happened to the older hyenas including Jasiri's parents and her uncle and her older brother.
Saba: Yeah we all were.
Astia: And then Janja said he would get avenge them.
Nane: And Janja decided to become the leader of this clan that attack the Pride Lands.
Nne: You know what I'm gonna go and try and talk to Jasiri to see if she can try and talk to the Lion Guard about trying to help us overthrow Janja.
Tano: Are you sure Nne?
Sita: Yeah Jasiri and her own clan could easily defeat you.
Saba: Maybe some of us should go with you.
Astia: I agree with the three of them.
Nane: Me too.
Nne: Thanks guys but I can take care of myself.
Tano: Ok if you're sure.
And soon Nne headed off to fine Jasiri.
Back in the Pride Lands.
Ono: Excuse me!
Twiga: Oh Goodness?
Ono: Sorry, didn't mean to startle you. You might not wanna go this way.
Twiga: But I have to get to Big Springs.
Bungu: Oh, gotta go around! Big mudslide up ahead. It's a mess!
Twiga: Oh, I see what you mean. Thanks for the heads-up.
Bungu: (Laughing) Heads-up. Good one. You're a giraffe.
Twiga: Um…
Ono: Don't mind him.
Bungu: Oh! Wait till Beshte hears that one. Whoa, whoa, whoa! Slow down there.
Thurston: Hello? I'm trying to get through. Step aside.
Ono: You don't understand. There's a mudslide up ahead and…
Thurston: You don't understand. You're in my way!
Ono: Well, we tried.
Bungu: Maybe he'll get through okay.
Thurston: Excuse me!
Ono: Or maybe not.
Thurston: A little help here?
Back in the Outlands.
Jasiri was minding her own business when she sniffed something.
Jasiri: Nne.
Then Nne appeared.
Jasiri: What do you want?
Nne: Look Jasiri I know we're not on good terms but I've been thinking about what happened a few years ago.
Jasiri: And what would that be?
Nne: You know the hunt in the Pride Lands that got your parents uncle and older brother killed alongside the other older hyenas and me and the rest of my clan's parents when a lot of lionesses who were like loyal to Scar showed up and attacked your parents, older brother and me and the rest of my clan's families were killed. Which turned the hunt we will on into a hyena massacre.
Jasiri: And what made you think about that?
Nne: Well after other failed attack Janja got so mad at Cheezi and Chungu he fired them. And the rest of the clan including myself are having second thoughts about going down the path Janja is going down.
Jasiri: Wait Janja's actually, been worse that he already is?
Nne: Yeah I think he is. Also me and the rest of the clan had an idea that we could talk to you and see if you could try to talk to the Lion Guard about trying to help us overthrow Janja.
Jasiri: Okay I see if I can try.
Nne: Alright I'll tell Tano, Sita, Saba, Asita and Nane about the plan.
And Nne went back to the volcano.
Meanwhile in the Pride Lands. Cheezi and Chungu were still running as fast as they could.
Chungu: Hey, is Janja still chasing us?
Cheezi: Nuh-uh.
Chungu: Thankful for that,
Cheezi: Hey! I don't think we're in the Outlands anymore.
Chungu: Oh yeah! Ooh. We're in the Pride Lands! (gasps) That means we did what Janja told us to do! You think we should go back and tell him?
Cheezi: Yeah, yeah! No, wait. He said we ain't in his crew no more.
Chungu: But he's still our boss, right?
Cheezi: Uh, I don't think so.
Chungu: Oh, who's gonna tell is what to do? Who's gonna call us fur-brains?
Cheezi: Maybe we could to it! I'm hungry, fur-brains!
Chungu: Oh, yeah. Me too, fur-brains!
They laugh at first but then sigh.
Cheezi: It just ain't the same.
Chungu: Why? Why did he tell us to go? And all because we screw up his plan and do this all because of what happened to all our older clans mates like our families including Jasiri's parents her uncle and her older brother? Cheezi, why, why? Now what? What do we do? And who… Oh look, antelope!
Cheezi: (Laughs) That what Janja would have us do. Hunt antelope!
Chungu: (Laughs) And you know what he'd say?
Cheezi: Uh. Get those antelopes, fir-brain.
They both started to laugh.
Cheezi: Okay, I'll go this way.
Chungu: Yeah, and you'll go that way.
They both went different away but weren't looking where they were going and bumped into each other.
Cheezi: I thought you were going that way!
Chungu: And I thought you were going this way!
Cheezi: And which way did they go?
Chungu: I don't think I like the Pride Lands.
Cheezi: Me neither. Nothing stands still and lets you eat it.
Chungu: It's not fair!
Cheezi: Well… we can eat leftovers!
Chungu: Oh yeah! They don't move.
The two soon started to eat the leftovers.
Chungu: (Slurps) You know what? I think I like the Pride Lands after all!
Cheezi: (Laughs) Yeah! Me, too!
They both continued to eat the leftovers until another mudslide started.
They two then ran for it but we're caught in the mudslide.
Meanwhile Kion, Fuli and Beshte we're finishing clearing up the mudslide from Big Springs to Mekundu Cliffs.
Beshte: Twende Kiboko! Phew! There we go, last one.
Kion: Great job, Beshte. Looks like the trail's safe to use again.
Fuli: At least until the next big rain.
Bungu: Does that mean we can take a break?
Beshte: Little B? What happened to you?
Bungu: Would you believe a zebra?
Fuli: I'd believe it.
Bungu: Hey, Big B! Wait till you hear what the giraffe said! When we told her about the mudslide!
Beshte: What's that, Little B?
Bungu: She said, Thanks for sticking your neck out! No, wait. That's not right. She said…
Ono: Heads up!
Bungu: Was that it?
Ono: No, I mean, heads up! I just spotted something!
Kion: What'd you see, Ono?
Ono: Two animals in trouble.
Kion: Let's go! Till the Pride Lands end,
Fuli, Ono, Beshte and Bungu: Lion Guard defend!
Ono lead the Guard to the canyon's edge to where the mud was sliding down.
Ono: Hurry! They're headed for the canyon's edge!
Kion: Beshte, block their path.
Beshte: You got it, Kion! Twende Kiboko!
Ono: Hold steady, Beshte! Here they come!
The two animals covered in mud went into Beshte, as he tired to stop them.
Kion: Bungu, you help the smaller one. Fuli, we'll grab the big one.
Bungu: I gotcha. Bungu soon pulled the smaller animal out of the mud. Whoa! You're pretty heavy for a… whatever you are.
Kion and Fuli had just then finished pulling and pushing the bigger animal to safety. That was close. Are you two all right? But to their shock it was Cheezi and Chungu. What? You two?
Cheezi: Is it?
Chungu: I… guess so.
Kion: If you're here, then Janja's here, too. Ono?
Ono: On it.
Ono flew off to look for Janja.
Cheezi: Janja's here? Do you see him?
Chungu: Do you think he's come back?
Cheezi: Maybe he's come to kill us?
Fuli: Wait, what?
Chungu: Janja kicked us out of the Outlands.
Cheezi: We ain't on his crew no more.
Fuli: You really think we'll believe that?
Chungu: He said we always screw things up!
Fuli: Okay, that I believe.
Kion and Bungu looked at each other. Just then Ono came back.
Ono: No sign of Janja.
Cheezi and Chungu were relevant.
Fuli: So, what are we gonna do with these two?
Kion: Well, they can't stay here. You two have to go back to the Outlands.
Cheezi: But we can't go back!
Chungu: If we do, Janja will either kill us or kick us out…
Cheezi and Chungu: Again.
Beshte: You know, Kion, I don't see these two guys causing much trouble.
Fuli: Yeah. They're not smart enough to.
Chungu: (laughs) Hey, thanks!
Cheezi: Yeah, you got that right!
Fuli: See what I mean?
Kion: But what if they chase after the herds like Janja always does?
They're only be able to do that Because of Janja. Said a voice.
The Lion Guard, Cheezi and Chungu were wondering who that was and turned around and saw Jasiri.
Kion: Jasiri. How have you been?
Jasiri: Good.
Bungu: What do you mean they're only been able to chase the herds because of Janja?
Jasiri: They did what they have been doing because of what happened to my parents, uncle and older brother.
Fuli: Why what happened?
Beshte: Yeah.
Ono: Tell us Jasiri.
Jasiri: sighs. Okay I'll tell you now Lion Guard, but no one else in the Pride Lands must know about this.
Kion: We all promise Jasiri.
Fuli, Ono, Beshte and Bungu: Yeah.
Jasiri: It was before all of you were born. One day me my sisters, brother, parents, uncle, Janja, his clan and their families were trying to get some food things were going fine until…
Bungu: Until what?
Jasiri: Until it happened. A group of lions spotted us and my uncle and brother Janja's followers parents and my clan's parents will killed.
Fuli: Oh my.
Beshte: That's bad.
Ono: How awful.
Jasiri: Yep it turned from a simple hunt into a hyena massacre. And a week after that Janja said he would Avenger all the fallen clan members. And early Nne came to tell me that if I could try and talk to you guys about helping them overthrow Janja.
Kion: I don't know.
Ono: Maybe we could try.
Bungu: Alright we can try.
Beshte: Anything for a friend.
Fuli: So what's the plan?
Kion: I'll got an idea Jasiri find Nne and the rest of Janja's clan and tell them that we'll help them overthrow Janja.
Jasiri: Got it Kion.
Meanwhile Nne and the rest of Janja's clan were waiting. Just then Jasiri came to see them.
Nne: Jasiri. So what's did they said.
Jasiri: They said they're try and help you guys.
Tano: Alright.
Sita: But how do we stop him?
Saba: Yeah, he'll just ordered us to follow him.
Astia: Like he's been doing since the massacre of our families including Jasiri's.
Nane: Yeah.
Nne: Don't worry you guys. I have a plan. Also Jasiri tell the guard that Janja's planning to have us chase a herd of antelopes while he chases oxryes.
Jasiri: Well I'll better get out of here before Janja see me. And I'll tell the Guard what you told me.
Back in the Pride Lands, the Lion Guard, Cheezi and Chungu were at flat ridge rock.
Then Jasiri showed up.
Kion: ado they know the plan?
Jasiri: Yeah. Nne also has another plan about them following Janja's orders. Also Janja had planned to trick you guys so his remaining clan keep you guys busy chasing them and the antelopes, he'll be chasing a herd of oxryes.
Kion: Alright now we'll be in place. Come on Lion Guard. Jasiri Cheezi Chungu follow us.
2 hours later.
Ono was looking out for Janja. And saw a herd of antelopes.
Ono: Kion, I see the herd of antelopes stampeding just like Nne told you Jasiri. And they're stampeding in the rocky plains!
Kion: Lead the way, Ono. Till the Pride Lands end…
Fuli, Ono, Beshte and Bungu: Lion Guard defend!
Jasiri, Cheezi and Chungu followed the guard to stop Janja's plan.
The antelopes were stampeding fast in the rocky plains.
Nne, Tano, Sita, Saba, Asita and Nane were chasing like Janja ordered. But they're we're working with the Lion Guard and Jasiri to overthrow Janja.
Janja: (laughs) That's it, boys. We've almost got them. (panting) And I can almost taste them.
The antelopes kept stampeding with Nne, Tano, Sita, Saba, Asita and Nane chasing them, Janja stopped as his clan and the antelopes kept running into the distance.
Janja: Perfect this plan won't fail.
Janja looked back and saw the Lion Guard, Jasiri, Cheezi and Chungu coming and hid behind a rock.
Kion: Ono, did you see Nne and Janja's other clan members when caused them to run?
Ono: Yes they're not giving up.
Kion: Right let's get after them and calm the herd down!
The Lion Guard, Jasiri, Cheezi and Chungu raced after the antelopes. Unknown that Janja was hiding behind the rock they were next to.
Janja: And while you're be busy I'll be have a big dinner. Janja said as he saw oryxes. And now it's dinner time. Janja raced off to hunt the oryxes.
Meanwhile the Lion Guard were calming down the antelopes.
Ono: Slow it down. No need to run. The Lion Guard's here to help.
Bungu: Yeah, but why? Nne and the other members of Janja's clan weren't causing trouble.
Fuli: Hold it Janja's not here.
Nne: Uh-oh he must be after some oryxes.
Kion: Come on Lion Guard's here hyenas we've got to catch Janja.
Meanwhile Janja was stampeding the oryxes in the other direction.
Janja: Perfect a dead-end canyon up ahead! Now all I have to do is trap them there before the Lion Guard gets back from there wild goose chase. And the others will be in pain from getting the crap beaten out of them.
Meanwhile the Lion Guard and hyenas were trying to find Janja.
Kion: He has to be here somewhere.
Jasiri: But where is he.
Tano: He could be anywhere in the Pride Lands.
Sita: He had to attack the Pride Lands all because of what happened years ago.
Saba: Yeah all of us were sad about what happened.
Asita: But he didn't have to do this.
Nane: But he did anyway.
Fuli: We've looked everywhere and he's nowhere.
Kion: Ono!
Ono flew up to look for Janja, and saw him chasing the oryxes into a dead-end canyon. Hapana! I see him! He's chasing the oryxes into a dead-end canyon!
Kion: Lion Guard hyenas! Let's go!
The Lion Guard and hyenas raced off to stop Janja.
Janja had trapped the oryxes in the canyon.
Janja: (cackling) Oh, whatcha staring at, oryxes? Never thought a hyena would be this smart?
Kion: They still haven't Janja!
Janja: Oh come on not you guys!
Much to Janja's shock Nne, Tano, Sita, Saba, Asita and Nane were there with the Lion Guard. And he saw Jasiri, Cheezi and Chungu as well.
Kion: Give it up Janja, your clan is now against your so you're outnumbered.
Janja: Never!
Kion: Fine you leave me no choice Janja.
Kion then roared at Janja sending him out of the Pride Lands. Janja's former clan watched as they're former leader was roared out of the Pride Lands.
Nne: Now that's the first time I've been happy to hear that sound.
Later the Lion Guard and the hyenas went to flat ridge rock.
Fuli: So what now?
Bungu: Yeah what now?
Kion: With Janja gone now all we have to deal with are Reirei's pack, Makuu's float and Mzingo parliament.
Ono: What about Janja's hyenas?
Nne: Don't worry we won't attack the Pride Lands anymore.
Beshte: We'll that's things sorted.
Kion: Bye Jasiri Nne maybe we're see each other again.
Nne: Yeah maybe we will.
Jasiri: Not if I see you first Kion. And soon Jasiri and Janja's old clan mates jumped from flat ridge rock and back into the Outlands.
Kion: Come on guys let's get back on patrol.
And the Lion Guard went back to their patrol to clear paths after the big rainstorm.
