Sunshine was lighting up through the windows at an unknown castle. There were tapestries hanging on walls, unique items that were in glass containers, and a crown was placed in front of a stoned throne chair. It was still in a glass container and the gold shines from the sun's rays. But what shines mostly, was a beautiful, heart-shaped gem that was on the crown. No one has ever seen a gem so rare and unique, that it makes everyone feels jealous to have only just diamonds or any gems for jewelry or crowns from different countries.

But for a moment in the castle, a couple of people were cleaning around the room. They were polishing the floors, clean every dust and cobwebs off the walks, and cleaning the glass containers. They've put up a souvenir stand by the corner of the room, masks and armors at the walls, and a long red carpet that goes straight to the throne chair.

A man with glasses was looking around, checking everything from his clipboard and let a proud smile on his face. Suddenly, he heard footsteps from the distance that was coming from behind him. He turned around and smiled more as he was facing a beautiful, young lady coming towards him. Her blonde hair was pulled back in ponytail, eyes that are sparkling blue, a proud smile that always appeared on her face, and she was wearing a blue suit with a white blouse and a light blue scarf around her neck.

"Ah, Miss Roberts," he spoke as he walked towards her. "Glad you are here. Everything is going as planned like in the clipboard. Everything has to be perfect."

"Now Mr. Haynes, just so you know there is no such thing as perfection." said Barbie as she smiled to him.

"I do have to say, Miss Robert. This is an excellent idea on having Dragone de Castle as a historic museum. And from the look at your portfolio, you have done some excellent research about this place and the story about the Dragonheart Gem, other lands, and... about dragons. Who'd the thought that they exist over the ancient times. Which is why you are perfect to be as the tour guide for this summer."

"It's been a pleasure of working with you, Mr. Haynes. I have to do something in my time that I can show the tourists on what they can learned and to tell the story about it."

"Well, it is a field trip day today. And there will be a bunch of kids coming. Think you can handle it?" he asked.

"Absolutely!" Barbie spoke with a positive expression.

"I like your attitude, Miss Roberts. Always stay positive." he said until he along with Barbie heard a beeping sound.

Mr. Haynes looked at his watch to where the beeping was coming from and looked at the time.

"Show time." he said to Barbie with a smile.

"Wish me luck." she said to him and walk away.

The man smiled at her as she left, but then turned around to face everyone who is still working and cleaning.

"Alright, everyone! That's enough! The tour is about to begin so why not you all take a break and if there is any mess, I'll call one of you." he said, and everyone stops working.

Outside of the castle, Barbie was standing at the grand doors as she was waiting for something. Suddenly, she spotted a school bus that was driving up the hill. She let out a smile as the bus stopped in front of her and the doors opened. A couple of kids, who are seven or eight, exit the bus as they were waiting for the group to come out. Some were just looking at their name tags while others were taking a good look at the castle, amazed how big and historic it is. But then they saw Barbie as she was walking towards them.

"Welcome kids, to Dragone de Castle. My name is Barbie and I'll be your castle tour guide. So, stay close together and follow me." she spoke as she starts walking while the children follow her.

The children have their smiles of excitement on their faces as they entered the castle. They looked to see some armor that warriors wore in ancient times and banners hanging on the walls that has the image of a dragon.

Once they entered the throne room, the kids looked around as they saw tapestries of dragons, map of the different lands, and a tapestry of a girl, a boy, two dragons, a goblin, and a phoenix. They even looked at the artifacts that belonged to the castle and of course, they know not to touch them. But some of the girls were in awed at looking at the crown. Seeing such beautiful jewels and the heart-shaped gem as well.

"Look at that one, Lacey." a boy spoke with a name tag saying 'Dakoda'.

He was pointing at the tapestry of a young woman and a young man riding on a dragon. The girl named Lacey was indeed looking at it and smiled at the details of the dragon and the young woman.

"Cool, right?" he asked.

"Yeah." that was only the answer that Lacey could say, but she also smiled.

"Who'd the thought that dragons are really amazing and not terrifying." another girl spoke with a name tag saying 'Jessica'.

"Would be really cool if they're real." said another boy name Ryan.

"But Dakoda, dragons aren't real." said Lacey.

"Don't be too sure." Barbie spoke as she was behind them.

The kids all turned around to face her as they were confused but also curious. The rest of the children heard her as well and starts walking towards her along with the group.

"What do you mean, Barbie?" Jessica asked as she looked confused.

"There are people who believe in dragons. In fact, back in the ancient times, this land was where dragons and people live together, but there was more than that." Barbie replied and then pointed a tapestry map that has the different lands. "Back then, there were other creatures that exist in the ancient times. And one certain princess, has to save those lands."

"Really? Can you tell us about her?" Lacey asked.

"Yes! Please! I want to hear it!" the children pleaded, and Barbie smiled.

"Okay. I'll tell you." Barbie cleared her voice and then started beginning to tell the story.

Centuries ago, in the times when kings ruled and magical creatures roamed free, there was a land where Dragons, Fairies, Unicorns, Elves, Phoenixes, Mermaids, Goblins, and more lived in harmony. Every creature had a special duty to make sure the realm was cared for, but the Dragons, the strongest yet gentlest of them all, were given the most important task - guarding the gems. No resident really knew what they did, but it was long rumored that the beautiful crystals were connected to all the species.

One day, humans arrived in the realm. These humans, were eager to learn of their new surroundings, discovered the creatures, and they each gave permission to study each other. The current gem guardian dragon eventually showed the newcomers the special gems and became impressed upon realizing that none of them tried to steal any of his keep. He realized that day just how pure the humans' hearts were and convinced the others to allow those who desired it to live in the land they wanted to start living there. The creatures allowed them to.

And so, the humans and creatures have lived together with peace and goodness as the gems shine brightly together. But then everything changes. The goblins felt that they wanted more power and plots a scheme to take the gems. But they failed as war began with humans and creatures fighting against them. The goblins only took one gem, but the rest still shines. The humans and creatures decided that they must protect the gems as they divided into separate lands. Creating towns and have rulers that will guard and keep the gems hidden.

Everything looked peaceful, but not peaceful enough as the goblins could not have been happier. They knew the division would make it easier to find the gems of the other creatures and used it to their advantage. They invaded the lands while continuing their search, never forgetting how badly they and their ruler wanted to be the most powerful of the entire land.

As the years rolled by, not a single goblin invaded the lands. The gems were still protected as the guardians of the gems were passed down to another generation. The humans and creatures, however, were at ease as they heard that a legend has spread since the feud had begun, stating that one day, one of the creatures would prove their true heart by restoring the entire land's harmony while returning every crystal to their rightful place in the abandoned caves. Even though the goblins had never had luck finding the gems themselves, the prophecy did not deter them, and they continued their crusade while developing better tricks so as to catch the Heart of Peace off guard. Others assumed he or she would be a Fairy, and others still guessed a Mermaid, but what everyone was certain of is that to accomplish such a task, the Heart of Peace would need their graciousness, determination, patience, and strength... to be the size of a Dragon.
