The door opened and Mike walked into the house, he had been outside. Avrail turned to him and asked if it was warm out. Mike said yes, and it was hotter than yesterday. Avrail was surprised at that, it was very hot the day before. Terran was in his highchair and started cooking at Mike. He was six months old, and he was saying some sounds. Mike went over and picked him up, then took him to the fridge with him. They were heading to the Forks Sport Store soon, her and Terran went too and they brought his play pen. When Mike closed the fridge, he asked Avrail if she wanted to leave? Avrail said yeah, and took the baby to put him in his car seat, she brought the car seat to the kitchen and handed it to Mike.
When they got to the store, Avrail carried Terran inside. Mike was walking behind them. Once she walked in Avrail heard a lady at the counter talking about a attack that happened in Oregon. It was a animal attack and the lady said that the women had survived. She said hello to Avrail when she saw her. Avrail said hello to the lady. The lady continued talking to the counter attendant saying that it was worse than they seen in 15 years, the victim was mutilated. The counter attendant replied that she would be on the look out for the animals in town. She continued that she saw a wild boar in the forest the day before and by the way he looked at her, she thought he would attack. The lady said her goodbyes soon after that. Avrail asked Mike if he could get Terran's play pen from the back of the store. Mike replied that he would. When he came back in the room Avrail set him down in the play pen and put some toys in there. He waved a rattle and Avrail cooed at him, then went to the register to help a customer. The previous counter attendant had left for the day. Mike had started to do inventory. Edward and Bella Cullen came in the store and they said hello to Avrail, she said hello back, then they grabbed a few things and came to check out at the counter. They left a few minutes later.
They were on there way home, it was dark out and they were going down a back road. The car In front of them stopped suddenly, Avrail looked around and saw that the car in front of him had stopped too. There were four figures at the drivers side of the first car. There was a fork in the road up ahead and the car in front of them went into the other lane to drive by the four figures started pushing his car, Mike then began to drive in the open space the car had been in, he made it through and Avrail looked through the back window to see that the figures were following them at a slower pace. The wolves came out of the Forrest and began to fight the vampires after they passed the fork. Avrail turned to see how Terran was doing, and he was fine, he was holding his rattle. She turned to Mike and said, that she hadn't seen vampires in awhile and they looked different that what she remembered them as. Mike agreed then said that he didn't want her to worry too much about the incident. Avrail replied that she wouldn't.
After they were home, Terran had eaten, and was ready for bed. Avrail put him in his crib, then got in bed with Mike. She put her head on his chest, and watched the spinning night light glow. The night was becoming soothing and Avrail began to relax and let the worried thinking fade away.
