Well hello... hi...I know I know. Flippy you already have a bnha fic and a pokemon fic why are you writing another?! Well you see... I am in Pokemon but I am also really into My hero especially since I am on season 5... so I decided to do this, but also added my own things as you see.

This fic is greatly inspired by Barids: Build Yourself Up (Don't Let Them Break You Down) and ravenclawoutcast 13: The Angelic Hero: Icarus. Where Izuku is mentor by Hawks and where izuku is related to Hawks. So I decided to do my own spin on it in this fic.

WARNING: slight hint of rape, it is not shown in the chapter but it will be mention in the story a few times. Never shown.

Anyway, I hope you greatly enjoy this fic, please give it a review!

Lungs aching for air, as she ran through a patch of briar, her arms burning in pain as the thorns shredded into the flesh. She gulped deep lungful of air but never stopped running because she would be in more pain.

"Get back here, Deku!"

"You can't run from us forever!"

"You should stop, you know we're just going to catch up with you!"

Even though the three boys who were chasing her barked at her to stop, she wouldn't. She kept running, her arms pumped by her side, her red shoes crashing through the underbush, her green eyes scanning ahead anxiously through the half-light. She could outrun them… she knew she… her face grew pale under her freckles, as the unearthly baying of a Poochyena on the scent wailed through the trees. She pushes herself faster, dim light filter in through the woods in front of her… and she burst through the trees, chest heaving, a thin sheen of cold sweat on her skin…

"No…" she whispers, staring with dread as she skids to a halt. In front of her was a cliff, a sheer face of rock that dropped to an unseen floor hundreds of feet below.

"There you are Deku," a shiver went up her spin, and the girl turns to stare at the boy who was slowly stomping his way towards her. He had spiky ash-blond hair with choppy bangs that hung over his eyebrows. His eyes were sharp and bright red, filled with malice and glee. What made her tremble even more were the tiny explosions that pop in the palm of his hands, and the Magby that spits out a puff of thick black smog out of its mouth. Behind them were two other boys. The one who the Poochyena stood next to had a toothy sinister smile, and super long extending fingers. While the other was a slightly pudgy boy with crimson dragon-like wings on his back, a Spearow flying over his head. "No where to run now," he grins, slamming his right fist into his lef pal, puffing out more sparks of fire and smoke, just much bigger, "You are going to regret playing hero and getting in my way, Deku,"

"I wasn't getting in your way, Kaachan," the girl protested, taking another step back, "You were hurting this little Dreepy," the Dreepy in question pokes out of her bushy green hair, trembling before ducking back in when Magby gave him a glare. "All because he accidentally slam into you. I couldn't stand back and allow you to keep making him cry!"

Kaachan looked at her with sinister amusement, "Its so funny that you think you even stand against me. With that weak ass Quirk of yours and the fact that you have no Pokemon," he looked at her, letting out a smile that drove pure fear in her heart, and the other two snicker while their Pokemon let out cries of excitement.

Looking once more over the deadly drop, the girl that the boys called Deku saw she had no choice. Closing her eyes, she held out her arms, and let herself fell over the edge of the cliff. Kaachan screamed angrily while the two cried out in fear. The girl though smiles as she hears the sound of the air rushing past her, before she took a deep breath and unflured a pair of wings behind her. Thirteen feet across, a bright emerald green with white streaks and freckly looking dark green spots… looking like the wings of a hawk, caught the air and she suddenly yanked upward, hard, as if a parachute had just opened, making her grimace. But she pushed downward with all her strength, and then pulled her winds up, then pushed them downward.

She couldn't help but laugh and surged upward, feeling the pull of her muscles, the air whistling through her secondary feathers, the breeze drying the sweat on her face. She was free… she was free she was flying…

Izumi Midoriya jolted upright in her bed, gasping while her hand press over her heart. Closing her eyes, she falls back on her bed, limp with relief, "I hate that dream…" she mutters as she rolls over to her side, staring at the small green reptile Pokemon that slept beside her head. Its head was a darker green, with pink eyelids and gills. "The only good thing that comes out of it, is you Toothless," she whispers as the Dreepy yawns, his yellow eyes fluttering open as he wakes up.

It all began in Goldenrod City, in the Johto Region. With news of the birth of a child that glow with brilliant light. The Luminescent baby they called them. Shortly after their birth, people all over the world started gaining powers. The trigger for these newfound abilities were unknown but it brought chaos to it.

But a certain profession rose up, a duty that people had aspire to become but had only happen in dreams.

Heroes, those who fight against villains, those who abuse their powers for evil. But they were not alone, fighting to keep everyone safe.

No, in this world there are amazing creatures that fight beside their humans. These creatures are known as Pokemon. Ever since mankind has walked the Earth, we were join by these wonderful creatures. They came in many shapes, sizes and all sorts of power. They could fly high in the sky, some could breath fire and control the elements, some posses strength enough to smash a boulder into pieces. Some are even revered as deities and forces of nature.

But what truly made them special was the bond that can be forged together. Since the dawn of time, humans and Pokemon have stood together, using their talents and skills to grow smarter, stronger, and more amazing. We play with them, we study them. We captured them and fight other Pokemon from other trainers for sports and competition and as chaos had spread and society started to crash, Pokemon stood beside Heroes to defend the peace. They help us rebuild, and soon the streets looked like scenes from comic books as Heroes found a place in our new society.

My name is Izumi Midoriya. I'm fourteen years old and I live in the Kashyyk Region. And I learned from a young age that not all men are equal.

"Hey mom!" Izumi calls out, hand on the doorknob, dress in her middle school uniform with Toothless snoozing away on her shoulder, "I'm heading off to school!"

"Alright dear!" her mother called out, before she let out a yawn. Her mother was a kind woman, with shoulder length green hair with a small spiky ponytail in the back. She seem to stumble a bit, only being caught before she fell down by her Kangaskhan. Izumi looked at her concern but her mother waves her away, "Its fine Izumi… just a long shift at work… get going to school before your late!"

My mother's name is Inko Midoriya and she is my world. She had me at the young age of 24 and it wasn't… it wasn't consensual but she kept me and raise me, making sure I knew I was loved. But being a single mother was hard. Being a single mother to a daughter who had a mutation quirk was even harder. You see, that nightmare wasn't fully a nightmare, I was born with wings growing from the upper region of my shoulder blades. My bones were hollow and my muscles were lean, the ideal form for a raptor, specifically a species of hawk. I was literally 98% human, 2 % bird. As I grew older, it was shown that I have a higher metabolism, meaning that I need more food than most. So to keep up my food intake, my mom took a lot of shifts, so we hardly ever see each other except in the mornings and about thirty minutes before I go to bed. But I knew that she love me, because she did it all for me.

Izumi headed off to Aldera Middle School, the beginning of what seem quite possibly the Worst Day of her Life. Oh it started out great, witnessing the debut of Mt. Lady, with her Tsareena taking down the Rhyperior that had been rampaging alongside its trainer, who also had some kind of Gigantification Quirk, after they failed to stole a purse. Besides them Izumi saw Death Arms and his Machamp and Heracross helping Backdraft and his Blastoise keep the crowds safe. Though Izumi can't help but feel sorry for Kamui Woods and his Carnivine who got their spotlight stolen by Mount Lady.

But it was when she got to Aldera that things turn out for the worst. Today was their first day of their final year, where they really needed to focus on their future. Their homeroom teacher was suppose to talk about different career courses they could take, like that of a Pokemon Professor or Researcher, a Doctor or even a Trainer, since once they reach the age of 15 they could get their official Trainer's License and do the Gym Challenge.

But everyone wanted to be a Hero, though Katsuki Bakugou made a great showing about only he would get into U.A. Academy, the best Pokemon Academy in all of the Kashyyk Region. All because he was better than anyone, due to his Quirk and his partner, Magmar.

"He also my former best friend… and now my bully," Izumi thought as the other boy stood on his desk proudly, ranting about how he would be more popular than All Might himself. Izumi frowns at these words, "Such goals Kaachan… but I don't think you will ever be better than All Might… no one will,"

All Might is the Number One Hero of Kashyyk and that meant he was the Champion of Kashykk. Him and his Pokemon, most importantly his starter a Darmantian were powerful. It seem like no one could beat them and with their arrival on the scene, the once grave rate at which new villains appeared began to dwindle year by year, almost like their very existence became a mighty deterrent. Both in name and reality this Trainer, this Hero was known as the Symbol of Peace.

"Hey Midoriya… don't you want to go to U.A Academy too?"

Izumi winces as everyone turns to her, her wings pressing tightly against her back as the others turned to her and laugh.

"Really Deku? A swift breeze would knock you out of the sky,"

"And with weak ass Dreepy? Like what is it going to do? Cry and hide in her bushy hair?"

"DEKU!" Izumi sighs, looking up at Bakugou as he slams a hand against her desk, burning more marks into it, "You're not getting in! Not with those useless wings and dragon of yours! I'm the only one who will get into UA from this school!"

"Because of your perfect hero origin story… about how you rose from the bottom to the top due to your perfect Quirk and amazing Magmar…" Izumi sighs, leaning in her chair a bit, "And really? There could be many reasons why I'm going to U.A. I might be trying for the Support Course, or maybe I'm following in my mom's steps and take the path of healing, or I could be going into the Business Course. U.A. is not all about the Hero Course,"

Bakugou snorted though, "Don't apply at all, Deku. That's what I'm telling you. You and that little lizard can do nothing that'll allow you to get in, you can't even fly,"

Izumi winces, looking down and all but ignoring how her teacher call for the class to pay attention. And that was the problem, even though she had a Quirk, Izumi had no idea how to use it. She tried, really, but with no one able to teach her, her wings were just there for decoration. She was worse than Quirkless in the eyes of her classmates.

"Don't think like that," Izumi thought to herself, her hands closing into fists. "There's a Hero out there… with a Quirk almost just like yours...he's number five now…" she felt a burning fire of determination flickering inside of her, "Just keep pushing… I'll fly one day… and I will become a Hero… just like All Might… just like Hawks!"

"This is so lame," Keigo sighs as he flew over Musutafu City. This high up, the land below took on a checkerboard effect of green and browns. Cars looking like busy ants moving purposefully down their trails. Every once in a while, he would pick something small down below and focus on it. It was all very interesting to him, since he had only been here to talk to Eraserhead on a case, they were both on about Trigger.

"Pid," turning his head, Keigo smiles, watching as the Pidgeot, tried to fly faster than him, gazing at him in a playful sort of way.

"You know we can't do that," he scolds, making Pidgeot huff, "We're still on the clock. But I'll tell you what, once we get back to Kyushu City we can have a race. All of us," he laughs as Pidgeot look excited about that and looks down, just as an explosion went off.

Startled, he quickly shakes himself before diving down, getting a closer look at the situation. He can see what looked like some sort of green goop, definitely not a Muk, rampaging in the middle of the street. He could see several Heroes, Backdraft who was focusing on the fires and one of the newbies, Kamui Woods, helping rescuing the people trap with his Carnavine and Tanglegrowth but he stares in confusion at the sight of Death Arms and Mt. Lady just standing there, doing absolutely nothing.

Before he could figure out what was wrong, a scream was heard, and he watches with wide eyes as a girl runs out of the crowd. He almost felt himself go stiff at the sight of the large green and white wings on her back, but Keigo held himself together, watching as she throws a Pokeball, "Toothless!" she cries out.

Emerging from the small red and white Pokeball, was a Dreepy. Who throws itself towards the slime, allowing its hand to phase through it, ramming its now glowing purple head into its out. "Huh… thats a Sucker Punch," Keigo mutters, watching as the villain recoils back in pain, "Kid must be a good trainer to get a Dreepy to use its Egg Move already at this stag-" he falters to a stop, watching as another kid was revealed to have been hidden in the green mass of slime, gasping for breath.

"Hurricane," Keigo coldly orders and Pidgeot dives down, his wings glowing a light blue as he flaps them, releasing a powerful gust of wind that made the the villain cry out in shock, allowing Keigo to quickly to grab the girl, before sending one of his feathers to tear at the villain's eye, using some more feathers to pull the other boy out of his grasp, "Full power, Pidgeot!" he cries out, and partner cries out in agreement as he flaps harder, sending out a monstrous burst of wind that soon transformed into a massive tornado, blowing the Slime Villain apart and into many puddles.

The crowd and Heroes all stare in awe and confusion at the sight of the number five hero, wondering why here was here. But suddenly they looked up as they felt droplets of water hitting their heads as rain began to fall. Looking up, they began to whisper excitedly at the sight of the clouds swirling around them, a large circle of air above where the tornado had been created. Keigo couldn't help but laugh as Pidgeot puff his chest out in pride as the people began to whisper in awe of him.

"Don't you go getting a big head old feather brain," ignoring Pidgeot's squawk of dismay, Keigo turns his head towards the police that was gather behind the heroes, "Well? Go on! Get the guy wrapped and contained before he regains consciousness!"

As they scrambled to do what they were told, Keigo turns to the two kids, "You alright?" He asked the boy who had been held hostage. His face was pale, and his arms were shaking. His eyes were wide and filled with disbelief, terror and anger.

"I'm fine!" He snaps, making Keigo raise an eyebrow at him as he pulls away, grabbing his wrist and just staring at his hand. But before Keigo to tell him to stop being so stubborn and go to one of the EMT to get check over because side effects of being suffocated were no joke, he turns his ire to the girl who helped him, "and I didn't need your fucking help Deku!"

Keigo at this turns towards the girl and froze. He knew that the girl had wings like him, but this close, he could see similarities between the two of them. She had feathery dark green hair that framed her face in curls though it was swept messily backwards. While her green eyes were large and somewhat circle, she had the same triangular pupils and the same two black triangles under her tear ducts and the top corner of her. Giving her a resemblance of a bird… just like him.

Smiling awkwardly and trying to not scream in terror that maybe this was something the Commission did, like… gave him a kid to get another Hero with his Quirk. "Please Arceus… just no…" "What about you? You, ok?" He looks in concern at the bruise on her check, that almost completely covered freckles.

"Oh, I'm fine!" She waves her hands, eyes wide and all but shining in awe at the sight of him, "He didn't get me…" she then gestures to the forming bruise on her face, "and this is from when me and Toothless were practicing his Sucker Punch,"

"I still rather you both talk to the EMTs, just in case," he guides them that way before he snorted at the nickname, "Toothless?"

"I was four when I got him and he had been a baby at the time," she pouts, even as the Dreepy flies over and lands on her head, "He didn't have teeth at the time and he had the habit of chewing on anything he could grab… and I was in a How to Train Your Garchomp,"

"Ah! A classic," Keigo grins, remembering that movie. It was the first one he watched after being taken under the care of the commission. He notices absently the other Heroes coming over, "What are your names?"

"Katsuki Bakugou,"

"Izumi Midoriya,"

"Now… while I should be scolding you for running in like that," and Midoriya grimaces hunching in on herself and looks like she was fighting the urge to cover herself with her wings. He was grateful she didn't or Keigo would coo, because that would have been absolutely adorable. "That was a nice job with Toothless here. You train him well. Him using Sucker Punch gave me and Pidgeot enough time to strike and get the villain off of Bakugou,"

Midoriya smiles brightly, her eyes shimmering with tears that Keigo was worried that she was about to break down and cry. Luckily she didn't and her attention was pulled towards the EMT who quickly asked both her and Bakugou some questions. Keigo was quickly pulled away, by a police officer and he quickly begins to give his report.

"You idiot!" Snapping his head, Keigo felt his feathers begin to stiffen as he saw that Death Arms was yelling at Midoriya, "There was no reason for you to rush headlong into danger like that!" Midoriya winces, holding her Dreepy close to her even as he hisses at Death Arms.

"You're a tough customer," the other hero that Keigo was now only just recognizing as Slugger smiles at Bakugou, "and that Quirk! Once you become a Pro, I'll love to have you as my sidekick,"

"Wait… hold it," Keigo crosses his arms over his chest, turning towards the two, in a time out gesture. The two of them look at him startled, and Keigo notices that Kamui Wood takes a step back, away from them, while pulling Mt. Lady who blinks at him in confusion, "You two are praising the kid who got caught by the villain but scolding the kid who did your job?"

"She got in our way," Slugger stated, crossing his arms arrogantly, "We were just about to do something when she ran in,"

"Oh really?" Keigo raises an eyebrow at this, none of them noticing that the media that were in the crowd pointing their cameras at them, "Because from my view up in the sky, you lot were just standing around,"

"None of us could get a grip on him," Death Arms exclaimed defensively, "We were waiting for another Hero with a better Quirk to come and help us,"

"That's what you were doing?!" Midoriya yelped eyes wide, "Kaachan would be dead by then! That's the Slime Retch! He's wanted for 16 murders!"

"I didn't need your help, Deku!" Bakugou snarled and look like he was about to lunge for Midoriya, but thankfully the EMT held him down.

"Surrrrre," Keigo drawls out before he turns back to Death Arms and Slugger, "That sounds incredibly stupid but you got your help with Midoriya in the form of her actions. Her Dreepy aimed for the eyes and none of you could think of that? You couldn't pull Backdraft away from the fires a bit or to ask for one of his Pokémon to douse him?" Death Arms and Slugger look at him with wide eyes, both of them clearly not having thought of that, while Mt. Lady and Kamui Woods look down in shame, "If Midoriya haven't acted, Slime Retch's body count would have gone up to 17 today and you will have to explain to Bakugou's parents why you did nothing while their son was dying,"

He looks at them sternly, Pidgeot glaring over his shoulder making him even more threatening, "Heroes, such as ourselves don't have the luxury to stand around and wait for someone to have a better Quirk. You can't be expecting All Might to swoop in to save the day every time. He's only human and he won't be around forever. It up to us, the new generation to take a step forward to make sure the peace that he made in Kashyyyk stays strong when he is finally gone," he takes a deep breath, trying to calm his nerves, "Do not scold Midoriya for doing the job you were hire to do. You better pray you still have your licenses after I tell the League of this screw up,"

Slugger sputters but Keigo ignores him, leading Midoriya away from the four Heroes and the crowd that was slowly growing more wild due to the media going crazy. He quickly covers the young girl with one of her wings, to hide her from the flashing cameras and rapid questions being thrown her way, "You really did a good job," he stated, making Midoriya look up at him, "Good idea with Toothless here throwing himself into that villains eye,"

"I… I wasn't really thinking…." Midoriya said, looking down at her feet, "I… I just reacted,"

"The Heroic instinct," Keigo smiles, before throwing his arm over her shoulder, "I'm guessing with that, you plan on going to U.A. Academy or Shikestsu Institute,"

"U.A.," Midoriya admitted, "I know Shikestsu is good just as much as U.A. but I heard that they're very strict," she frowns, looking downcast as Toothless sadly chirps, "I don't think they would accept someone who can't use their Quirk,"

"Can't use their Quirk?" Keigo mutters, looking at her wings. Besides a few that needed a little bit more up keeping, they look perfectly fine.

"I can't fly," Midoriya whispered, Toothless flying off her head and nuzzling her face, "No one in my family has a Quirk like mine so its hard to learn without any help. And its only me and my mom," at this Keigo couldn't help but feel like they have too many similarities now. "I'm hoping at U.A there will be a teacher there who can teach me… and its closer… I know that both schools have dorms, but it will be easier to visit my mom if I go to U.A."

"That makes sense," Keigo mutters, plans running wildly through his head. He stares at Midoriya as the sun shine through the dark clouds Pidgeot had form with his winds and he couldn't help but see a younger version of himself in her. "She just needs a bit of help to get to the starting line…"

"Do… do you think," Keigo looks down at her, Midoriya staring at her shoes, all but biting her lips that Keigo was surprise that they weren't bleeding, "Do you think that someone who can't use their Quirk.. can be a Hero?"

Keigo huffs before he smiles, ruffing her head and getting a yelp out of her, "Of course! Now you can use your Quirk, you just need a little bit of help. But even if you can't, plenty of Heroes use Support Gear and their Pokémon to help them. Mandalay and Ragdoll, Sir Nighteye, freaking Eraserhead, all his Quirk does is shut off someone's Quirk and they don't work against Mutant-Types," he flaps his own wings, "High winds and removable feathers do not make a good combination," he muses, and grins as he gets a small giggle out of Midoriya, "Just make sure you train, and be prepare, and I think you will become a grand hero, even better than me,"

Izumi was smiling brightly, her smile so wide it was shocking her that she wasn't feeling pain. "Hawks.. the number five hero… he told me I could become a hero!" Her wings flap excitedly and Toothless was flying around her head in circles. "He stood up for us Toothless, he encouraged us…that means we have to work harder than ever before to prove him right!"

"Dree!" Toothless hisses and nodded his head in agreement before he flew over and nuzzles her face, nomming her nose.

"Toothless, stop, you can't do that anymore! You have teeth now!" Izumi giggles as she gently grabs him, pulling him away from her face, "We got one year before the Entrance Exam… we have to make sure you evolve by then," she then sighs her shoulders slumping, "I wish we had a Pokédex to at least check which level you are at but… I have had you since I was four you have to be at least close to level 50 by now!"

Toothless nodded his head rapidly, a hopeful sort of look shimmering in his eyes. Izumi opens her mouth to encourage him, when a green light emerged from the bushes, shining so brightly it almost made her blind. Her wings stood up and Toothless screeches, flying out of her arms and all but diving into her hair, shaking terribly. Blinking the spots out of her eyes, Izumi stares at the bushes as the light slowly dies down, the leaves trembling.

With a deep breath, Izumi slowly walk towards the shaking bush, prepare to flee in case it was some sort of villain or a rampaging Pokémon. But each step she took, nothing jumped out. Holding her breath, Izumi reaches over and pushes the leaves aside, her eyes widening at the sight before her.

Curled up in the middle of leaves and branches was some sort of Pokémon. It appeared to be some sort of cell that was given a single eye. Light green in color, it look almost worn like with a bulbous head, with a red hexagon on its belly and back. Slowly, it opened its one eye at her and Izumi couldn't hold back at the look of pain that was all but oozing from its small body.

She then lets out a gasp as she notices the gash on its side, oozing blood from it and without hesitation, Izumi scoops the small Pokémon into her arms and begins running down the street towards her house. "Just hold on… my mom should have left some medical supplies from her job at the Pokémon Center… you just have to hold on,"

Dreams become reality and while I didn't know it back then, the day that had look to become the worst day of my life became the start of a new beginning for me. It was a defining moment in my life that starts this tale.

The tale of how I became the world's greatest hero, with my Pokémon by my side.
