So lately I have been getting messages and comments
regarding Collaboration Opportunity's. Which I am thank full
for. I request going further to send me a PM regarding these
opportunity's so that I can respond as soon as I can. Seeing
all of these messages helps me continue with the stories and
the support is greatly appreciated. Enjoy the second
chapter of this new story!
Riku pinched the bridge of his now and drew in a heavy
breath when he saw the state of his youngest brother. His
glasses broken in his shirt front pocket, school tie ascus, the
beginning of a black eye, split lip, a busted nose. Now he
was glad the Akemi was resting, Mio was in the Uk, Emma
doing homework and Kimika was playing with Wataru. He
can only guess what had happen, he hopped that those
who harassed him the past year hadn't tracked him down
to beat him up again. Riku also noted that Kouji's knuckles
were bloody as well, meaning he fought back.
"Kouji what happened?" Riku asked and something in his
voice must have draw the others attention.
"Funny story Riku, I fell down a set of stair." Kouji said
sarcastically.
"That does not look like what happened. Looks like you
have a busted lip and nose that need stitches and possibly
a broken hand there." He watched as all the fight fell from
the 15-year-olds body.
"They decided that me moving schools wouldn't be enough
to stop their torment." Kouji began.
Riku knew that this was not how the younger boy wanted to
introduce himself to the new family members, but when do
plans ever go the way anyone wants them to go. Akemi
sure as hell didn't want a episode happening.
"So they tracked you to the new school after they were
specifically asked to not go looking for you." He clarified.
"Yes, they were just harassing me with words until they
brought Em into it. Thats when I threw a right hook." He set
down his bag gently on the stairs.
"Excuse me, but can we have a overview of what has
happened here?" Ukyo asked for the others.
"Kouji was bullied and harassed at his previous school, after
multiple meetings with teachers, the principal and the other
students' parents. Akemi, myself, Mio and dad discussed
moving him and the twins to Em's school this year. The
triplets agreed. When it was decided we had a meeting
with the parents again and explained that if they came
looking for him, we wouldn't hesitate to press charges." Riku
explained without batting an eye.
"What do you mean that them mentioned Emma?" The one
called Tsubaki asked concerned.
"They started to say things that the next time they may wait
for her to be alone and have some fun if I said anything
about their continued harassment. Thats when I threw right
hook." He winced.
After getting more information, were the attack happened,
who the bully's were, and any other information. Ukyo
called the police to have them take an incident report. Riku
went to his room and got the other documentation from the
past year and signed agreements that the parents and
students' signed. When the police finished taking
photographic evidence statements from Kouji about what
happened. They gave Ukyo a case number and left.
Masaomi accompanied Riku and Kouji to the hospital.
While sitting there, Riku's phone started to ring. Seeing the
text read Mio across the screen he sighed, not wanting to
worry her. Though not answering her would cause her to
worry too.
"Hello Mio." He said when he answered the Facetime.
"Hey Riku, why are you at the hospital?" She asked seeing
the background.
"Oh Kouji's bullies decided that they didn't agree to leaving
him alone after transferring schools." He shrugged.
"What?" Mio exclaimed.
"Yeah, Luckly we have kept the documents that everyone
signed. Oh and Kouji threw a nice right hook that broke his
hand."
"Let me see him." Mio spoke coldly.
Riku knew that is sister wasn't upset at Kouji, all the ladies of
their family was protective of the younger ones. Akemi and
Mio were like momma cats that would hiss at anyone who
dared to harm Emma, Kouji, Dauji, Nenji and Kimika. It
sometimes scared him if he was honest, and he practiced
mixed martial arts outside of his tattoo shop.
He looked at Kouji who looked exasperated at the idea of
taking or showing his older sister. Masaomi looked over at
the screen and smiled noting that nearly half of the siblings
were redheads or close to it.
"Hello, I'm Masaomi and its nice to meet you even if its not
in person as of yet." He spoke up giving the teen a bit more
time before being faced with a sister.
"It's nice to meet you as well. I cannot wait to get back to
Japan honestly."
"Well your brother is ready, he was having his hand
wrapped up."
Masaomi and Riku watched as Kouji explained what had
happened to Mio while they wait for the cuts to be stitched
up and him to be discharged. Masa was glad that he was
home and saw the damage and Ukyo to start the process.
So far it wasn't boring with the new members, not that it was
boring before if he was honest. Though having more siblings
to keep track of will be challenging, his mother was happy
and so is Rintaro. He hadn't met the twins yet or Mio in
person, he was looking forward to it.
Soon Mio said her goodbyes and allowed Kouji to relax. The
three spoke about small things as the doctors ran a few
more test to make sure that the teen was fine. 10 stitches in
his lip, 13 in his nose, a broken hand in two places, and a
black eye, Kouji was lucky that he hadn't gained a
concussion to add to the list. Though re-telling the story to
Akime and Emma would be the least of his worries Kouji
grumbled as they finished up at the Emergency around
midnight. Riku and Masa agreed to keep him home the
next day to rest as the second day after major injuries would
be brutal. They had a doctor's note from the physician on
duty for the school, Masa was able to get the note to
excuse him for the rest of the week after the conversation to
let him stay home the next day. When they got home Ukyo
and Kaname were still away waiting for them to get back.
They were glad that the teen was going to be alright. Kouji
yawned as he headed for his room and to bed.
The next morning Kouji awoke due to his hand and nose
throbbing, which he was warned before bed would
happen. After a while of lying in bed with sleep eluding him,
he got up and threw on a hoodie over his pajama bottoms.
He needed to eat before taking any of the pain relievers
that he was give. In the kitchen he spotted the schedule
that Masa explained to them last night while making small
chat at the ER. It looked like the 8 of them had been added
and Mio, Dauji and Nenji didn't have anything scheduled in
their spots. According to the schedule; Ukyo, Subaru,
Yusuke, Emma, Riku, Wataru and Kimi would be up. So
taking a mental note that would be 6 cups of rice that he
could manage to start in the rice cooker one handed.
Looking in the fridge he found 2 dozen eggs and pulled
them out.
Looking around he found the coffee and knew that Riku
needed that to even become agreeable. When he went
back to the fridge, he saw 4 bento boxes matching color on
the schedule for the 4 going to school. Pink for Emma, Red
for Yusuke, Light blue for Wataru, and Baby yellow for Kimi.
He pulled them out so that they could grab them quickly.
As he began to crack the eggs, Ukyo came around the
corner.
"Ah I see your an early riser?" Ukyo stated like a question.
"Oh, normally I'm the last out of ben honestly. I just couldn't
sleep with the swelling." Kouji shrugged.
"I see, so what have you started?"
"I got the rice in and I'm slowly cracking the eggs."
"Ok let me look and see if we have any fish, and I'll put the
miso on that I prepared last night." Ukyo made his way
around the kitchen.
Soon the others began to show up in the kitchen, Yusuke
and Subaru knew about the fight and asked how he felt.
Kouji responded with a "I feel like I got beaten up after
being Isekai to another world." Which made those around
him laugh slightly. When Riku came down he checked
Kouji's face and accepted the cup of coffee while waiting
for breakfast.
When Emma came in the book she had grabed last minute
dropped to the ground with a thump, causing those who
had yet to fully wake jump. Which Riku spilt some of the
coffee on himself and Yusuke flung rice around.
"Kouji! What happened?" She freaked.
"Oh just got back from being isekai, and I have to deal with
this for a bit." He joked hoping to calm down his sister.
"Oh that's not what happened!" She exclaimed.
Kouji knew that she wouldn't like his jokes or sarcasm. He just
wasn't ready to tell her as he got a lecture from Mio last
night while at the ER. He knew that he would miss school the
next week and would be behind some, not that that was an
issue for him.
"I got jumped on my way home, Riku and Ukyo are taking
care of it. I'll be out of school for the next week." He finally
explained giving her a little of the full story.
It was true he was jumped by his bullies, but she didn't need
to know that or what they said they would do to her if they
ever got to her. Little Kimi and Wataru heard that
explanation when they came in at the tail end of the
conversation. Kimi walked over to him and kissed his cast
and asked who was taking her to school.
Ukyo explained that he would be taking her, Wataru, Emma
and Yusuke to school. The littles as that would be the norm
and Emma and Yusuke as he had to go drop off the
Doctors' note for Kouji.
After those who needed to leave left for the morning Kouji
sat on the sofa and rested his cast hand on his forehead
with a heavy sigh. He wasnt sure how long he just sat there
until Kaname spoke to him, "I'm sure your feeling it today
huh."
"Oh yeah, I feel like my nose is the size of a soft ball, my lip
feels great when I eat anything or drink anything. The
throbbing in my hand feels great, I'm sure I could knock
anyone out with it and still feel it at this point." Kouji sighed.
"So then, your just irritated." He sat across from the teen.
"Kaname, I'm sure he is more than irritated." Tsubaki's voice
drew their attention.
"Sorry we were just headed out when we heard you Kouji."
Azusa expressed his empathy.
"It's fine, I had to lie partially to Em and Kimi which is not the
greatest feeling. I know Dauji and Nenji will be thrilled to see
this when they get back. Unless they were informed last
night." Kouji explained.
"Well you have more people to lean on now." Kaname said
trying to get him to look on the brighter side.
"Yeah still, I feel so blaw at the moment."
The others made small talk, Tsubaki and Azusa explained
what they do and that peeked Kouji's interest. They told him
about voice acting for multiple anime, video games. He
told them that he was an aspiring manga artist and he was
irritated that as a righty he wouldn't be able to draw while
his hand was healed. They had a laugh about some triplet
stories that were shared. Kaname shewed the twins out
when they needed to leave and suggested that Kouji get
some rest.
Later that afternoon, Riku got a call from Nenji. He was
worried that Dauji would go after the boys that jumped
Kouji. Apparently, Em found them at school that morning
and spilled the story to them, after seeing the aftereffects
that morning. He told them to stay put at school and he
would be right there. Finishing the outline for the client he
had in his chair, he asked the shop receptionist to schedule
those left for the day for sessions later in the week. Explained
that he could be there Saturday if that was the last resort.
He did not need this as he had a massive headache from
not sleeping enough the night previously because of the ER.
He just hoped to get to them before they do something
stupid.
