Ohhh today's the first day of school ever, and get to see the big deal of it only hope the kids like me and wanna be friends with me.

It was morning and the first day at Green Hills Middle-School for Sonic who had been nervously anticpating this day and wasfeeling more nervous energy than his normal confident energy only seeing Shadow enter his room helped distract him from his nervousness guessing the black-brownish hedgehog male was worried for him as he'd only learnt what Sonic was doing thanks to Knuckles last night being Game Night feeling him squeeze his hand gently, seeing a frown on Shadow's face guessing he sensed the anxiety in his aura seeing Shadow nodding.

"You're never scared, you're brave and confident, tellingjerks to leave us alone why does this school planet scare yo, Soni." Shadow said softly sitting on his bed with him and Sonic was about to answer when the door opened seeing Tom there relieved he was awake making Sonic sigh, as they went downstairs to have breakfast however it was helping him think about Shadow's question more.

"Hey you're up, excited about school." Maddie asked Sonic.

"Yeah I guess Maddie, just hungry." Sonic told her eating cereal quietly as Shadow was drinking black coffee impressing Sonic as Tom and Maddie never let him have coffee because he could get very wired and being a kid with powers and super-speed, that was a bad idea seeing Maddie had made his lunch which made both him and Shadow smile plus surprised that Tom was driving him to school seeing Maddie kiss his head before he left with Tom, noticing Shadow was quiet guessing he was sad about Sonic going to middle-school making her understanding making pancakes for him, Knuckles and Tails seeing Knuckles and Tails guess Sonic had left for school surprised that Shadow was there calm guessing he'd been hanging out with Sonic, calming him.

"He was anxious even in his aura, so he had breakfast then Tom took him to school." he told them as they sat down only Shadow seemed calm which surprised Knuckles as Maddie placed pancakes in front of them hearing them thanking her, impressing her as she say down eating her own stack of pancakes hoping Sonic was okay, that Tom was also easing his anxiety about school.

"Sonic you alright, you've been quiet the whole drive here, wait have you never been to school." Tom asked Sonic in the squad-car pulling up at Green Hills Middle-School in the parking-lot seeing Sonic nod in reply.

"Nope, I'm from outer-space well Lomgclaw taught me survival things." Sonic answered truthfully feeling Tom squeezing his hand gently only he wondered something about Shadow, remembering seeing him on the bed with Sonic.

"He was helping calm me with my anxiety about middle-school." Sonic answered grabbing his backpack getting out of the car entering the building seeing throngs of kids talking, whispering and lookijg at him makijg him overwhelmed until he found his locker then went to homeroom, seeing the kids in his grade along with his teacher excitable as they knew of the things he did making his heart pound with anxiety until seeing Unit realising Tails was here along with Knuckles and Shadow.

"Get away from him, you monsters." Knuckles and Shadow yelled but then the fire alarm sounded and the principal walked in makijg Sonic realise Tails had did it wondering what the heck they'd been thinking

"We came to rescue you, as you were anxious and Maddie explained about it." Tails told him as they went to the office.
