Shadow was taking deep-breaths, as that girl at the park reminded him of Maria but living in Sonic's old cave in the woods wanting to be alone knowing if Sonic found out, he'd try to help him or drag him to Tom and Maddie which he didn't want as he curled up into a ball takihg deep-breaths. "Sonic doesn't get it, why I hide but he has a family." he muttered drinking coffee.

"Why do you think Shadow took off like that, he likes hanging out with us, especially Sonic." Tails said. It was later that early-evening plus they were having a cookout only Sonic was quiet thinking about why Shadow had freaked out seeing that kid at the park but he was nervoys about gaseball tryouts at school on Monday which was why they'd played baseball earlier so he could practice which Tom got after coming home from school yesterday. "Relax Sonic, you'll do good so don't worry." Tom reassured him.

"What's he worrying about, Donut Lord." Knuckles asked him confused.

"He'strying out, for the baseball team at school, so he's worried." Maddue said making him understanding and knew Sonic had this in the bag, being good at baseball knowing he was good at skate and snowboardihg remembering Siberia seeing Sonic roll his eyes at this seeing Wade here making Knuckles sighing guessing Tom and Maddie had just invited him being hice. "Yeah, something like that Knux." Sonic told him annoying the male enchida but taking deep-breaths wondering why Shadow had shown up like that. "Maybe he's loneky and was curious about what we were doing." Tails said to them.

Plus Tom and Maddie were enrolling Tails in elementary school but he was anxious about it and how the other kids might make fun of his tails even though he'd told Sonic when they'd first met that maybe being weird was good but was wanting to help Sonic with his dilemma like invent something.

"I think I got this, but you should save that for all the inventions you're gonna make at school." Sonic told him.

"I guess, but we'll have to wait and see you know. We know you're making friends with the kids at school." Tails replied seeing Knuckles hanging out with Wade hearing he was heading for Reno asking Knuckles to come with him seeing him agreeing making Tom smirk knowing this was how he and Sonic had bobded by goibg on a road trip hoping nothing too crazy would happen while they were gone.
