"Geez, does Knuckles ever sleep like the rest of us, uh-oh we're almost out of coffee and Shadow's not gonna lije that. If he doesn't have his coffee or coffee beans, chaos will ensue." Sonic muttered as Maddie was making breakfast after letting Ozzie out in the backyard to do his business seeing Knuckles up but making himself coffee making Sonic facepalm. "What did I do now, as it's morning and I need coffee." Knuckles said. "So does a certain ultimate life form and you're gonna have to face his anger if he finds out." Sonic mumbled eating cereal.
"It's okay, Tom and I have to go to the store anyways and maybe Shadow won't notice there's no coffee." Maddie said as Shadow waljed in yawning looking for his beloved coffee beans realising the jar was empty giving Knuckles a look making Sonic sigh. "Knuckles kinda, maybe used the last of the coffee, don't be mad as Tommand Maddie are going to the store." Sonic told him seeing Shadow frown going upstairs shaking his head.
"Doesn't he want breakfast, like toast or cereal." Maddie asked seeing Sonic shake his head.
"Nope, all he eats for breakfast is coffee beans and Knuckles using the last of them ticked him off. Thankfully I have school and baseball practice after so if the house is trashed, it's not my fault if Knuckles uses his warrior skills or Shadow uses his powers.." Sonic told her.
"Like Knuckles'sfavourite snack being grapes which are always drunk." Tom said seeing Sonic give him a weird look.
"Grapes are the main thing that make wine, which you're not allowed to drink like energy drinks and coffee but hope he and Shadow are okay as Knuckles went off with Wade and Shadow went upstairs." Maddie said to him.
Later that day, Knuckles was taking his frustration about the coffee thing and Shadow while he and Wade were hanging out plus Wade had asked him, why he drank so much coffee if he slept. "A warrior never sleeps, Wade, remember." he said yawning a little.
"Ummm buddy that might work on the planet you came from, but here on Earth, we need sleep. It helps usfunction mentally among other things so maybe the thing that happened this morninginvolving coffee and ticking off Shadow is maybe because of the not sleeping thing." Wade told him.
"I will putthat into consideration." he replied eating grapes which was helping plus being at the beach was relaxing like meditating which they were doing right now only Wade heard gentle sleep noises coming from his friend getting a text from Sonic that Shadow had destroyed Knuckles's grapes making Waxe sigh knowing Knuckles would go into warrior mode if hefoubd out which wasn't good for him right now taking him to his house texting Tom so he wouldn't worry
