Ok. Can somebody please tell me what I'm lacking? Besides the action part. I already know about that. Just please be nice if you do answer.

Bucky looked up from what his book when he heard the jet returning. Quickly dog tagging the page he's on, Bucky quickly jumps up and races out of the lounge and races outside.
"James?" Wanda turns to him startled when she stopped walking and watches him race down the hall, she quickly follows him. They race into the meeting room finding Steve and Danvers.
"Steve?" Bucky moved into the room. "Did you get the stones?" He asks. "W."- He trials off when Wanda took his arm.
"Steve, what happened?" She asked with worry.
Steve lifts his head to turn to them, looking completely defeated. "We lost." Is the only thing he could say, he moved to leave the room leaving the three alone in the room.
"Danvers." Bucky turns to the female captain. "What the hell happened!?" He demanded.
"The stones." Carol answered. "Thanos. He used them."
"But he's been using them." Bucky said with a frown.
"This time it was different." Carol replied. "He used the stones to get rid of the stones."
Wanda felt sick. "No." She shook her head.
"Look into my head and then say that."
Wanda shook her head. "I will not." She said. "I vowed to never look into peoples heads without permission."
"Then believe me." Carol said, and with that she turns to walk in the direction that Steve had disappeared.
"Wh … what do we do now?" Wanda asked, gripping Bucky's arm.
He shook his head. "I don't know." He pulls his arm away before he wraps his around arm around her and holding her close. "I don't know." He repeated. "Oh God." He whispered pulling Wanda closer to him.

In the kitchen, Steve sat at the table with a bottle in front of him. Looking lost as he sat back in his chair and looking off into the distance. That's how Carol found him.
"You'll get drunk if you down all that." She slowly approaches him and he turns to her then turns back to the bottle in front of him.
"I can't get drunk."
She raised her eyebrows with surprise. "Really? Not ever?"
He nods. "That's right."
"Is that a given or a cruse?" She asks gently.
"I guess both." Steve sighs.
She pulled out a chair and sat next to him. "I know this isn't the best timing and we hardly know each other, but." She trails off as he turns to give her a sideways look.
"You asking me out?" He asks with a slight smile. "Captain?"
She shrugs. "I don't know." She watches as Sam walk and Bucky walk in from another entrance, the two stop short.
"You must like blondes Steve." Sam teased with a smile.
"Don't know about that." Bucky shrugs. "Peggy was a brunette."
"All I'm saying is."- Sam is cut off.
"Get outta here, both of ya!" Steve's own Brooklyn accent slipped out as he picked up a pen and threw it at his two friends, who laughed and quickly disappeared.
"We could trade stories if you want." Carol continued. "Your backstory, my backstory." She shrugs. "Only if you want." She looks at him. "Captain."
Steve lets out a heavy exhale through his nose as he looks at the table in front of them. "Could you … I mean, do you mind waiting a few days? The freshness of loosing is still gripping."
Carol nods. "Sure, I can do that."

5 years later
The remaining Avengers had drifted away. Bruce Banner had gone to try to work things out with the Hulk. Natasha stays alone at the Avengers facility, Sam and Steve run a group therapy together, while Bucky and Wanda found a place in Brooklyn.
Steve drove his Harley Davidson towards a house. Slowing down he saw Wanda's red Buick Verano and Bucky's CBR600RR. Pulling into the driveway, Steve parked his bike next to Bucky's and kicked the kickstand.
Climbing off the bike, Steve looks up at the house. The exterior is 1940 style. Approaching the front porch, Steve finds Bucky sitting on the porch swing with two 24 packs of Bud Light at his feet. "Really Buck?" He asks as he turns to face his closet old friend. "It's ten in the morning."
"Funny." Bucky took a drink of his bottle beer. "Wanda said the exact same thing."
Steve stuffed his hands in his pockets. "I take it the meeting didn't go well."
Bucky took a long drink. "Nope." A deep burp erupts from him. "Turned us down flat!"
Steve comes over and sits next to him. "I'm sorry man."
Bucky looks at his beer in his vibranium hand. "What's the point of not getting drunk if you can't get shit faced anymore?" He asks as he sits the bottle on the small glass table next to the porch swing. "Damn I miss those days."
"You had hangovers like there was no tomorrow." Steve remembered, shaking his head. "Do you remember the last time you got drunk?"
Bucky snorts. "No."
"You woke up in a graveyard." Steve recalled. "But naked, you called me for a ride home cause you were too embarrassed to call your Ma."
"Aftermath." Bucky pulls out a new beer bottle and opened it with ease. "Miss those days."
"Another occasion is you dunkenly dialed, wanting your then girlfriend, Connie. Once the other end picked up you started flirting."
"When it was really my Ma." Bucky shook his head. "That was embarrassment city! And you, Punk. Thought it was hilarious." He sighs. "Screw the pooch." He suddenly said. "Wanda and I are still doing it!"
Steve has a comical look on his face. "Buck, I'm pretty sure you lost yours in our time." He said, making Bucky turn to glare at him.
"Not that, Punk. Talking about the home for kids."
Steve blinks a few times. "Oh." He looks towards the front door. "Find any other kids?"
"No."
Steve pulls out is phone when it buzzed in his pocket and he looks at it, Bucky grins as he leans forward with his arms on his knees.
"That from Carol?" He teases. "Looking for a good day to have."-
"For your information, it's Sam." Steve stood up from the swing and stuffs his phone in his pocket. "We're needed back at the facility."
"I'll let Wanda know, and we'll head out."

Sometime later. Sam turns to see Steve, Bucky and Wanda walking into the office. "Steve, she just threatened me with a PBJ sandwich!" He points at Natasha.
"Oooh." Bucky teased with a chuckle.
"Is that why you called us?" Wanda asked, not amused. "You had us waste gasoline for that?"
"We found Clint." Natasha states, her eyes shinning with tears. That perks up Wanda.
"Where?" The witch demands.
"From the reports we got, he's become a vigilante." Natasha answered. Steve's shoulders slack.
"Aw, Nat I'm sorry."
"I'm not giving up on him!"
Before anyone could argue, a beeping is heard. Natasha then opens the security channel. A big brown van is parked at the gate, the driver door wide open and a man is standing there waving his arms towards the camera.
"Hey, guys! Ah, It's me! Scott! Scott Lang. We met a few years ago! In Germany."
Everyone stares at the footage. "Is this an old footage?" Steve asks, his eyes never leaving the channel.
"It's the front gate." Natasha answered.
