8 hours 30 minutes

- Brian, wake up, or we'll miss the bus! - Jeremy wakes up his older brother.

- What? But it's summer... - Brian woke up with difficulty.

- Have you forgotten? We're going to camp today! - younger one reminded him.

Brian looked at his watch and at his calendar. That's right, they're really going to camp today.

9 hours

Yes, Brian, Jeremy and their friends were going to summer camp for a month today. It was a kind of gratitude from Professor Baldi for the fact that the kids had saved him from the nasty demon of darkness and saved the others. Naturally, the children will not go alone, but with adults and some other guys who also played an important role in saving the school, such as Principal Francis, janitor Martin, First Prize and Sock. Fortunately, no one from the whole school knew about this trip.

Brian and Jeremy ate quickly and packed up the rest of their things. Taking a backpack and a bag each, the brothers hugged their parents and left the house. By the way, Brian decided to take his SuperGuard to the camp in order to see it in practice. Ben and Miranda were already waiting for them outside.

- Well, are you ready for the trip? - the girl smiles.

- Yes, indeed! - Brian answers.

When they get to school, the boys see the bus and their friends. Miranda, Lucy and Masha hug and go to the others. Baldi also decided to take Russell, because he also helped a lot in destroying the demon. Everyone was already there.

- So, has anyone forgotten anything? - Francis asks.

- Nah! - the children reply.

- Then we're off! - principal smiles, and everyone follows him onto the bus.

Martin was the bus driver, Baldi and Francis took the first seats, followed by the children. The bus started moving. Pleasant music started playing in the cabin.

12 hours

After 3 hours, they finally arrived at the camp. And they already liked it. There were several rooms, just like in a hotel, and in the middle was a large wooden house. Counselors were already waiting for them there. There was also a forest and a beach nearby.

- Greetings to you! Welcome to the "Sweet Sun" summer camp! - the counselor waved his hand.

- What a lovely name. - Ben and Brian giggled.

- Make yourself at home! You will spend some of the best days of your life here, and we promise you will remember them for a very, very long time! - the counselor also smiled.

- Good afternoon! Thank you! - said Francis.

- Well, I think it's worth introducing yourself. My name is Alex, and her name is Alice! - Alex introduced.

- My name is Professor Baldimore, this is Francis, Martin, First Prize and a Sock! - a man introduces himself.

- They're cute... - Alex was surprised by the abnormal creatures.

- Don't be afraid, they are kind! - Lucy laughed. - By the way, my name is Lucy, these are my best friends Miranda and Masha!

- Nice to meet you! Now please come and get your room keys! Just don't lose it! - Alice announced, and everyone came up to her. She gave each of them a key with a hotel number.

Now Brian and Ben lived in 31 rooms, Casper and Jeremy in 18 rooms, Miranda and Betty in 15 rooms, Bill and Russell in 30 rooms, Masha and Tiffany in 32 rooms, and Lucy with the First Prize and Sock in 12 rooms. Professor Baldi stayed in room 8, Director Francis in room 5, and Martin in room 3.

- According to the schedule, you have lunch now, then you have free time until 3 p.m., from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. we walk in the woods, then swim in the pool until 7 p.m., dinner until 8 p.m., free time until 9 p.m., and until 11 p.m. we have night stories near bonfire. - announces the counselor.

- Wow, that's great! - Betty exclaims.

- Also, in your free time, you can go to our other entertainment! For example, rock climbing, cooking, needlework, cycling, and more. - adds the counselor.

14 hours 20 minutes

After lunch, the children decided to take a walk around the camp. Brian, Ben and Casper decided to go to the beach first. There they could lie down, swim and sunbathe. The boys sat down on the shore.

- It's so beautiful here... - Casper said.

- Yeah... Still, it's really better to go in a small group. It would be quite noisy with the class, but it's so peaceful here... - Brian smiles.

- Exactly... I hope everyone else has fun too. - Ben answers.

Miranda, Lucy, and Masha were already having fun. They took their bikes and decided to ride around the camp. Director Francis decided that it would be easier for the girls if he transferred them to the same class. That's why he decided to transfer Miranda and Lucy to Masha and Jeremy's class. Everyone was happy, and then no more problems or obstacles arose before the friendship of the girls. They are grateful to Brian for helping them. Immeasurably grateful.

Well, Betty and Bill were in their repertoire.

- Mind! Intelligence and cunning solve everything! They are more important than anything in the world! - Betty argued.

- Power! A weak person who is unable to defend himself will not be able to live in society! - Bill argued otherwise.

- Again... - Tiffany sighed heavily.

- Is this argument ever going to end? - Jeremy asks a rhetorical question.

- Guys, calm down! Intelligence and strength are important in their own way! Without intelligence, a person cannot live, and without strength, they also cannot cope with any kind of work! End your stupid argument! - Russell tried to calm his friends down.

- But one of them has a higher weight than the other! And that's the mind! - Betty replied.

- Hey, guys, let's not fight on the first day and get some rest? How about going rock climbing? - Alex offers, soothing the children.

- Oh, I'm the first! - Bill smiles and runs ahead. Betty runs after him.

On the way, they come across Sock, who got lost. They decide to take him with them.

First Prize was walking around the pool, and he felt good. He may be a robot, but he can also sense the environment and emotions. Then Martin joins him.

- Hey, Prize, do you like here? - Martin asks, dipping his hand into the pool.

- Oh. Yes. - robot replies. He seemed to be learning new phrases that weren't programmed into him.

- Yeah, me too. It's great that we chose this particular camp. Let's have a good rest!

16 hours 30 minutes

The guys went to the forest. Tiffany took a camera to photograph animals, plants, insects and beautiful landscapes. Brian and the others just walked around and listened to the counselors, their stories about the local animals and plants.

- Brian, what are you looking at? - Miranda asked Brian.

He raised his head and looked at something that was apparently in the sky. He just silently pointed his finger there.

- It's a strange cloud. - boy replied, examining the cloud with a puzzled face.

Miranda also raised her head and took a closer look. Indeed, there was some kind of incomprehensible cloud in the sky. It looked like an airplane. And it seemed to have eyes.

- What do you think it is? - Brian asked his friend.

- I have no idea.

Suddenly, the cloud became animated and flew away with great speed. The children couldn't even get a better look at it, they just stared in shock at the empty place where the strange cloud used to be. And what was that?

20 hours 25 minutes

- Maybe you just imagined it? - Bill suggests.

- No, it's not! We really saw it! - Brian insisted. They told the guys about that cloud while sitting at dinner.

- It couldn't seem to two people! It really flew away so fast! An ordinary cloud doesn't fly away like that! - Miranda was supportive.

- What if it's an abnormal creature like a Sock? - Lucy suggests.

- Why not? It could have been. - Ben agrees.

- We need to find him! - Masha said. - But how?

- Maybe we should ask the counselors? What if they know something about that cloud? - Tiffany suggests.

- Let's ask them during the campfire stories? - Jeremy says, and everyone agrees with him.

22 hours 30 minutes

It was getting close to night. The guys had a lot of fun all day and were already tired. However, they were slightly encouraged by the stories and legends from the counselors, and Lucy told some horror stories, and Casper told fascinating stories from little-known books. The counselor cleared her throat.

- I would like to tell you another legend. - she starts. - Many years ago, above this camp... An unusual cloud was floating. Many children noticed this and complained to the counselors, so they decided to find out what kind of cloud it was. And it turned out that it was not an easy cloud. It was alive! He looked like a mixture of a cloud, an airplane, and a cat. Because of his wings, he was named Cloudy Copter. He was harmless and friendly, hovered over this camp all the time and was friends with many children and even counselors! But one day he was afraid of a bonfire, because one bad child decided to check what would happen if he was set on fire. Then Cloudy Copter considered the camp bad and the people in it too, and flew away from here. He became disillusioned with people. And no one saw him again. Of course, many people say that they have seen a strange cloud in the form of an airplane in other parts of the world, but it could hardly be him. And no one knows how true this legend is, maybe someone invented it and started spreading rumors, or maybe the Cloudy Copter really exists. End of the legend!

The adults clapped, and the children sat in shock. Brian and Miranda exchanged glances. The cloud they saw looked like an airplane. Was it really him?

Lights out was called at the camp, and everyone went to their rooms. No one had the courage to ask about the cloud, and Brian lay in bed all night thinking only about this legend and what he had seen.

June 25, 2017

The children have been living in the camp for 10 days now, and they really like it. The children swam in the pool, on the beach, went rock climbing, rode bicycles, played football, volleyball, tennis and even managed to stumble upon a fox, from which the children barely escaped. Fox wasn't happy about them. But this is not so important, because the children, in addition to all the entertainment, tried to find that Cloudy Copter, but there was no information about it. Just that first day at the camp and an unknown legend.

It was after the horror stories and other scary campfire stories. Everyone had already gone to bed, but Brian couldn't sleep again. He stopped having nightmares, but now insomnia has decided to torment him. The red-haired boy decided to take a walk.

After closing the door of his room, Brian decided to go to the place where they usually gathered around the campfire. There was an open sky, and the boy felt comfortable and peaceful there. He really liked that place. And now he will be alone, in complete silence, and only the stars will illuminate the surrounding nature for him. It's beautiful, isn't it?

He was surprised when he saw a campfire still burning in the distance. Shouldn't it have gone out a long time ago?

Coming closer, the boy wanted to put out the fire completely, but he stood up in a stupor. He was in shock.

That cloud, which looked like an airplane, was almost next to the campfire, and it seems... Extinguished it? Brian could feel the wind blowing from this creature. He seemed to be blowing to make the fire go out faster. Brian got a good look at him now. It consists of a giant cloud in the form of a mixture of a helicopter and an airplane, with two eyes, each with a black dot in the form of bulging pupils, and an elongated mouth. He had a black mustache near his mouth.

The boy decided to approach him slowly and calmly.

- U-Uh... Hi?

Suddenly, Cloudy Copter turned in his direction, and his pupils shrank in fear.

- Hey, don't worry, I won't hurt you. - Brian tried to calm the creature down, but it didn't help. The cloudship flew up and flew away very quickly, leaving Brian alone. The boy sighed. The bonfire finally went out.

- Brian? - the boy heard a familiar voice and turned around. - What are you doing here?

It was Professor Baldi. A pink blanket was draped over his shoulders.

- Oh, Professor Baldi, I'm sorry, I must have woken you up! - boy apologized.

- Hush... - teacher put his index finger to his lips. - It's okay, I couldn't sleep myself. Come on, let's sit down.

Brian sat down on a piece of wood, and the man found some sticks and lit a small fire so that they would have at least some light. Baldi sat down next to him.

- Here, take it. - the teacher gives the boy a blanket. - Insomnia too?

- Yes, sleep is not coming... - Brian answers. - I decided to take a walk.

- Heh, you and I are similar. I like to take a walk before going to bed, usually helps me fall asleep later. - Baldi grins. - But you seemed to be calling someone here... Did you see someone?

Brian is silent for a few seconds and then nods. And then he breaks down and tells him all about the Cloudy Copter. The teacher sits in shock and looks at the boy.

- Well, in principle, this is not so surprising, considering that we have a live sock and an intelligent robot walking around our school. - Baldi shrugs his shoulders.

- But what if he comes back?

- Then we'll try to catch him somehow and make friends with him.

They fell silent, not knowing what else to say. They just looked up at the night sky, and the stars were shining brightly and charmingly.

- The forest is so beautiful at night... - Brian said, looking at the trees and fireflies.

- That's not the word. - the teacher supports it. - It's like something out of a fairy tale.

So they sat by the extinguished campfire, looking up at the starry sky.

June 30, 2017

And yet he came back.

5 days later, Cloudy Copter flew back to the campfire, which the children lit to roast marshmallows, and began to blow intensely on it. Fortunately, the children were nearby.

- Hold him down! - Miranda ran towards the creature. She was the first to want to catch Cloudy Copter after Brian told her about it. The girl ran up to the cloud and grabbed it by one wing. The creature let out a squeal and tried to fly up, but the girl's weight held it back.

Then he managed to fly up a little, and then Lucy and Masha ran to help Miranda. Their weight was also not enough to prevent the creature from flying away again, and then the boys came to the rescue. Russell, Brian, Bill, Ben, Casper and Jeremy run up to the girls and pull Cloudy Copter down. Betty quickly realized what was going on and ran to get the ropes. Tiffany joined her on the way, and when they arrived, they tied the wings to the cloud. The children released the defenseless Cloudy Copter. He was lying on the ground now, whimpering softly.

- Poor thing... - Lucy felt sorry for him. - Don't be afraid, we won't hurt you!

- What's going on here? - others come running, and when the counselors see an abnormal cloud, they fall into a stupor and shock.

- Cloudy Copter?! - Martin is surprised. - The real one?!

- Oh, does it exist?! - Alice couldn't believe her eyes.

- As you can see, yes. - Brian grins.

16 hours

After two hours of talking, Cloudy Copter was no longer afraid of the local people and even became friends with them! It turns out that he flew here to check if the people he was friends with many years ago were here. Cloudy Copter couldn't talk, but the children were able to create a complete story with the help of drawings and questions.

- Wow... - Alex exhales. - Cool attraction!

- Yeah! Just like ours! - Masha giggles.

Plus, Cloudy Copter has become very friendly with the Sock and the First Prize.

- After that, we became close with Cloudy Copter. The counselors decided to keep him, and he was glad. When we were leaving, Cloudy Copter decided that he would come to our school and see us, Sock and First Prize. He also stopped being afraid of people completely. Since then, there has been a new rule at school: do not offend living clouds. - Brian finishes. The kids applaud him.

His life was full of adventure and joy.
