"Tami was in a hospital, she had no idea how, but she felt like being there, her eyes sad, her arms shaking, the flashing was in and out of her as she tried looking around to see which room she was in exactly, the room Tamera was in had doctors everywhere going in and out, someone was yelling at her but she wasn't paying attention, how could she? her heart rate was unexplainable, her breathing was tense people were crying there was an old man in a suit on the phone with someone, her hair was everywhere, tears flowing around her, her eyes were blurry, her head pounding like prisoners wanting to get out, Tami was falling in and out of conciseness, her eyes drooping, as she struggled to look around the room, she felt something slap her nose as she finally spotted what looked to be a brown haired boy. As she tried to take a closer look at the boy, something hit her, triggering her to wake up."
(Indigo Hotel, Miami, 12:45 am one day before Kat and Lee's phone call incident)
Tami shot off the bed, heart beating, feeling her heart just clutched onto her lungs, her eyes shot open, small tears forming on her soft cheek, and her pupils were searching the whole room, confused as hell about what that dream was, Tami sighed as her breathing kept struggling to keep up with her, that dream scared her! She checked her phone, seeing some random text messages, but nothing scary, Tamera was not going to finish sleeping like this, not when a dream like that came at you, so she went out of bed, braided her hair, grabbed her room key, her swimsuit, and rushed to the pool, hopefully, to calm herself down for that horrid dream she had. Walk downstairs to the pool the pool was beautiful Allure you even the pool had a long build to it, the chairs were set up, and the deck was lovely to look chairs were a white rich color, it was perfect for Tami to swim in, as she changed into her swimsuit.
The swimsuit was a beautiful mustard yellow color with ruffles on it along with some gold chains crisscrossing around her chest and waist, and made her look elegant, that's what everyone said when she bought it, her long hair made her even more beautiful chanting so to find so beautiful as she dipped herself into the pool, as cold as it was, she needed this.
The moon's warm rays danced across the surface of the pool. The dark skies added harmony and tranquility to the peaceful scene. An ambient breeze gently puffed against the edge of the pool, lending serenity and calm. The birdsong filled the air with a melodic symphony of chirping and melodies. The water, serene and calm, beckoned a refreshing and rejuvenating dip. A warm hug of tranquility permeated the atmosphere, enveloping the pool in an aura of peace and relaxation.
Marcus woke up to feeling something….off. His brown hair was in ruffles, his dark timid, soft, erotic, brown eyes scanned the room that room being his hotel room that he was sharing with his brother, and he was feeling….very off. The 15-year-old boy couldn't help but think that something was off. He didn't know what it was, but, he needed to get out of his hotel room as soon as he could, he felt off, the room was spinning and Tony's snoring was giving him a migraine. Marc was here in Miami for a damn mission, not to be some hotel, waiting for updates for Jerry! Jerry was so stubborn when it came to emergencies and barely gave out the proper equipment for his spies! He's such an old head, Marcus thought, thinking as to what he should do next, when he heard splashing coming out of his window, to seeing a blonde girl swimming her swimming technique was captivating to Marcus, and he could tell she was beautiful and she took pride in that, with all of her heart, and Marc's gut was telling him that he knew this girl, he knew her very very damn well, and when Marc has his gut feeling on something, he was going to get to the bottom of it, even if it scared him, whatever it was, he's was gonna find out.
It took a couple of minutes to try to find the pool but once he got to the pool he saw her blonde hair beautiful thin body cute little bikini her swimming technique was amazing she looked so splendid. yeah, that's the word she looks like the color yellow, so sunny, so bright, so wonderful, yet, Tami was so…hateful. That's what's funny about that color; as nice as the color was, it had a bad taste in your mouth every time someone mentioned it.
Tami was swimming for what felt like hours, her body finally calming down, the sounds of splashing sent calmness over her body when she heard footsteps approaching the pool. Tami's hair popped up from the water to see someone she wasn't expecting.
"Umm, hi, Marc, what are you doing here? As in doing here in Miami, in this hotel? Sir, It's late, one, and two, why are you even in Miami? "
Tami asked as she swam over to Marc, who was also shocked to see her. Marc giggled at Tami's question, a small blush forming over the two teens, as Tami splashed him with some water. As soon as he removed his shirt, his abs and muscles were revealed, which were stunning to Tami, who had never even thought of Marc as the hot Chapman sibling.
It was always Lee!
Lee was hot and charming, great body, he was tall, popular, and perfect for a girl like Tamera, but seeing Marc like this, with the moon shining over the two of them…in this big pool…in Miami of all places… She was mesmerized by Marc's physique, her heart racing as she took it all in. She felt a warmth and a rush of excitement, as Marc smiled back at her. She felt her face flush, and her eyes shifted towards the sky above the two teens, as she realized that Marc had been aware of her admiration the whole time. She felt embarrassed and her heart raced as she realized that she was attracted to Marc.
"Well, I came out here because I was bored, had a headache, a bad dream, and I couldn't help but see a pretty blonde girl from back home swimming in here, so I had to come down to say something," Marc said as he slid himself into the pool, swimming closer towards Tami, his brown hair making him hotter than he already was right now. Tamera felt a knot in her stomach, how could Marc Chapman-Clark school geek, the biggest loser, out of everyone, suddenly get so…attractive?
"You never actually answered my question though. Why are you in Miami?"
" I'm here for a birthday party."
" Really? A family friend or someone that I know, maybe I'll swing by, who knows, maybe I'll make a friend or two."
Marc rolled his eyes, as he sat his book down.
"Family friend and they don't like outsiders, that much"
She was surprised that out of all the people in Miami, this gorgeous beautiful wind City full of life love sex money drugs the people Mark Clark was right in front of her the geek of all Geeks in Miami he didn't belong there! He was a little mousey boy who barely stood up for himself he was baggy and annoying clothes he was a book kid who read books, all he did was talk about science and math he was a tutor for the kids below them and he followed Megan Lee and Tony around like a puppy, so seeing him here in front her was seeing pigs in a Dior dress!
"But without all of that, may I say you look enchanting tonight Tamera."
"I didn't realize you were so good at swoning the women"
"I learned a lot. having a popular older brother and his way with girls helps you whether you like it or not.
Tami couldn't help but blush a dusty rose could capture the color on her cheek right now with how beautiful she looked, as Marc kept talking.
"Are you making any plans for college, life, the second you turn older…you know…..adult stuff?"
Marc thought for a couple of minutes, before turning to Tami, giving her a look of admiration, his very sweet honey brown hair covering his soft face being. Overall, Tami was taken aback by Marc's kind words, feeling a newfound sense of confidence in herself. Finally, Marc spoke.
" I want to become a teacher."
"Really? you are good with children and I see the way you act with your brothers and to be honest, it kind of makes me jealous.
Marc's head turned in pure confusion, seeing Tami's smile light up as the moon made her already glowing skin look like a pearl under the sea, as Tami kept talking.
"Well the truth is the reason as to why I want to become a teacher is because I feel like none of the teachers understand me, or at least try to understand me."
Tami looked so confused, her bright eyes darted at Marc's statement, he was the smart kid in their school, as Marc was slightly splashing her with cold water as she sat on the curb of the pool.
"What do you even mean by that? How could you say something so upfuckwards?"
"...Im sorry?"
Tami looked at Marc, her eyes gave Marc a simple glance as her in an apparent way, as Tami felt horrid for what she said, she didn't even know Marc like that her face showing a color of red proving it. She felt her heart sink as she realized what she had done. Seeing Marc's dark eyes as Tami looked at him, Tami could see Marc was looking at her in an apparent way as Tami felt extremely bad for what she had said. On the one hand, Marc was quick to say weird shit, trying to make himself sound cooler. On the other hand, Marc may not have actually been looking at Tami in a strange way. He may have been looking at her in an empathetic way, or he may have been looking at her in a confused way, trying to understand why he even wanted to become a teacher, seeing a classmate and having a heart-to-heart moment, and kinda ruined it. Her face showed a deep regret as Marc looked at her, trying to get her attention which proved that Tami was feeling incredibly guilty for what she had said. She felt her heart sink as she realized what she had said, Finally she looked at Marc..
"Well, Im autistic."
Oh.
Ohhh.
Now it makes sense.
"Marc, I- Im so sorry for being upset."
Marc stared at Tamera, his deep eyes losing themselves in her, before bursting into a laugh, so joyish, so fun, so bubbly, a laugh that was so….Marc.
"Its fine, Tamera, apologizing only makes things more awkward, plus your response was, like, super funny to me."
Tami smiled. She always knew when Marc was going to keep his head up, when things got awkward, she gave him a look of curiosity.
"So…Marc…what's it like?"
"What's what like? I don't get your question, Tamera?"
" Autistic, well being autistic, what it's like?"
He smiled so sweetly, knowing that she had some curiosity in her. He found that interesting in her. Marc decided to sit up on the curb next to her, soaking his feet right next to her. Her beautiful, long legs kicked next to him as she laughed, she was staring right back at him curiously turning her head just to stare at him. The hot breeze made her skin feel a little bit colder, but they laughed it off. It was summer, after all. It's almost supposed to be like that. You were going to feel super hot and sweaty, confident that at nighttime, you're going to cool off and be more relaxed. Summer was the only season where you felt most confident. It was the season of confidence, the blissfulness of being a giant diamond in a room full of other diamonds. Without a doubt, especially with the nighttime, the stars showing and its sparkles reminded him of her, so so well.
Stars.
S
Marc had an idea.
"So you know those stars up there? you know how most of them are big, glowing, and really pretty to look at, those are the pretty stars. And you know these tiny ones that are barely seen? I also don't stick out as much, and it's kinda hard for me to do that, without extra help. Everyone likes the big stars because they are popular, they're the most normal stars, the well-behaved stars, and sometimes the little stars act like the big stars, everyone likes those stars; there are different versions of the little stars, but because those other stars can act like the regular stars, everyone thinks that's how all little stars act.
All of the normal stars, that everyone thinks are the coolest stuff, girls get compared to those stars, those stars have big dreams ahead of them, and have such nice personalities, and they won't be treated differently. I'm the little star, I'm not noticed by everyone else and I try my best to make sure I'm just like the big stars, with the help I get, and I try my best to be as..normal and bright as the big stars. So that's kind of what I am, fitting in with my other little stars. And I think the little stars, it's hard to fit in with the big stars you know especially looking for cosmics, solar princes and princesses, there's also the solar guardians, and shooting stars. Lee is the shooting star-."
"That's not true."
"What?"
" It's not. Well, as of right now, he's not. You're something..better."
Marc reclined, his back now on the pavement of the hotel pool, his brows furrowed in confusion. He struggled to comprehend the meaning behind her words, replaying the conversation in his mind. Despite his best efforts, her message remained elusive, leaving him feeling unsettled and unsure.
"I think you're one of the twin fish souls."
Marc, still in confusion, just stared at her.
"There were two twins who were born; Ji-Haw and Jun-Yo, they were soulless babies born in Korea to a spiritress, whose powers were used to help the broken souls, Ji-Haw was the good soul, but did bad things and Jun-Yo was the bad soul, who loved doing good deeds. They drowned in the river, and the spiritess cast a spell on them, making sure that they came back as fishes, one who told the good, and the other who told the bad, coming back as twin fishes the twins lived freely, and they chose whether are not you're a good or bad soul, if you were bad, the spirit of the spiritress would sneak up behind you, and suffocate you; but they were connected, so in turn, they can't separate, thus the nameTwin Fish Souls. Your soul has two parts; the good and the bad, but people like to…well, focus on the bad part; they come in two parts, and the very first action you do, determines that. And I got a good feeling that the soul of Ji-Haw likes you."
Marc was captivated by Tami's story as she shared with him the enchanting tale of the twin fish. He listened intently, showing deep empathy and understanding towards the characters and their journey.
Tami was still in shock, seeing that Marc was now this… gliding hottie in front of her, swimming with her, she saw Marc as this little puppy that followed Megan around, but now..she didn't know what to think! She thought about what to say next. She took a deep breath, scooted closer, and mustered the courage to speak to him.
"So, I have a question."
"Yes?"
"It's about…something personal."
"It's about Lee, right? Because that's you're problem at the meere moment is being in love with him, and not being popular enough."
"...what?"
As soon as Marc made that statement, she was caught off guard. She was surprised by his sudden shift in mood. It was unexpected and hurtful. Why would he say something like that? Especially now, when there were so many other important things to talk about. She had so much to tell him, so many things she wanted to share with him. But instead of listening to her, he had to bring up Lee. It made her wonder if there was something else going on, some hidden issue that he was struggling with. She couldn't help but feel upset and confused.
But out of all the things she wanted to mention, he would ask about Lee.
LEE!?
Marc's face was filled with regret as Tami walked off, giving him a nasty look. Despite this, he followed after her, shouting after her as he grabbed his towel as both teens were now in the lobby.
"Tami, Tami, Tami wait, I know you love him ok, I'm sorry for bringing him up, ok? I am, Lee deeply cares about you, but I figured that you needed advice on moving on, and honestly you do need that, right now. I'm so sorry, Tami. I can tell that you have deep feelings for Lee. I was just trying to help you move on, seeing you sulking after him made me fucking miserable, there I said it, and I wanted to help you cope with it because it was eating you alive as each day passed, talking about it would've helped, Tamera"
"Why the hell would I want to talk about that right now?"
Mark hurriedly followed Tami as they stepped into the hallway,Tami's tears caught her face. It was getting late and Tami was clearly exhausted, her long blonde hair dripping wet, with her bangs plastered to her forehead along with her lash extensions. The pool was beautifully expansive, with the grass a perfect shade of green, and the chairs arranged in an orderly fashion. The entire setting was so elegant that it felt ideal for a date or a lovely late-night swim with a caring and loving companion.
"Tamera, please, you have to understand-"
"Understand this, Marc, you will never in a million years understand me. Tonight, all I wanted was to talk about my problems, you know, just have someone listen to me and what's going on with me at home. I figured that you and I were decent friends and that we could talk about each other's problems. But instead, you brought up the boy I'm in love with, the one that everyone keeps reminding me is in love with another girl, the one who is better than me in every way, smarter, better at ballet, and a veritable genius on the piano. Do you know how sickening that sounds to me, a girl-"
All of a sudden she felt Marc's generous long warm lips pressed against hers as she felt her body being pressed against the 's hand was on her waist holding her in place slowly traveling from her waist all the way to the back of her head his tongue swirling around inside her mouth, questioning Tami. Tami's towel dropped the floor feeling so confused as to why she felt these lips on her.
"Marc, I-I- why did you do that?"
It took Mark almost a couple of minutes from heavy breathing and kissing Tami for him to finally answer her question.
"I am in love with you, Tami, and I refuse to watch you waste your precious breath, immaculate energy, and every single beautiful bone in your body on my idiot brother who doesn't even appreciate your adorable presence. Your breathless laughter and sparkling eyes deserve to be directed towards someone who truly values you, and that someone is me. I am confident in my love for you and I won't stand by and watch you settle for less than you deserve." So forgive me, but I'm tired of it."
Tami stared at Marc for a few seconds before running off, tears streaming down her face.
