Scene after Sirius Black was discovered somewhere in the castle and the Gryffindores had to sleep somewhere else.
"So you said you wanted to play quidditch in your school year." Snape said it was more of wanting to fly the broom, but he wasn't very good at it, "Did you at least try it?"
"I had to learn it during my first year. I kept falling off the broom and landing on my butt. You don't know how many bruises I got just from trying that damn thing."
"Well today is your lucky day then." He showed his broom to Snape.
"I was wondering why you brought it with you."
Harry grabbed his teacher's hand, dragging him over to the quidditch field. "You ready?"
"I don't think…um…let's not Potter." Harry glared at him, "We are in public." He nodded, understanding.
Harry hopped onto the broom, "Come on? I will help you." Snape feared the broom. Harry could tell. "If you hop on the broom I will stay with you during Summer break." 'I know he gets lonely without me being there.' "You can say I broke a major rule and have to stay here during the Summer. Not that I will complain."
"Fine," Snape got in the back of Harry. Harry bolted to the air with Snape holding on tightly.
"What do you think?" Snape was feeling free up here.
"It feels amazing." Harry wanted Snape to feel the same way he felt when riding Buckbeak. By flying over the water. Of course he reacted differently. Tightly holding onto him. "I feel completely free up here."
"You know you can always burrow this from me?"
Snape looked frightened at that, "I can't fly a broom Harry. I told you that already."
"How about I give you lessons?" They flew back on the ground, Harry helped Snape get off the wooden stick. He slightly lost his balance. Harry caught him by the waist.
Snape smacks it away, "Someone can catch us any moment."
"If anyone was watching us, they would see us flying on a broom."
"It is better than having a hand around my waist."
"Well next time don't smack my hand away. That gave me quite a shock. If you don't feel comfortable with something just tell me nicely."
Snape nodded.
"So do you want lessons? Tell you what, I will give you lessons on how to fly a broom and you can teach me how to block people from entering my mind."
"People will see us practicing."
"We will do it after everyone is asleep."
"Fine Potter, you can teach me how to fly a broom."
"You know, they probably saw us flying on the broom earlier." Looking at some classmates over in the distance, they don't seem to care. "The ones we should look out for are Ron and Hermione." Shit he didn't think of that while being with Snape. "Why didn't you stop me?" knowing Snape would be against it.
"I was simply to excited about flying that it didn't cross my mind."
Luckily they weren't caught, flying up there. He was able to get his broom out of the dorms without his friends noticing too. He was simply swift.
Scene during Snape taking over Lupin's class
"Turn to page 394." They turned to page 394. Harry looked shocked at Snape being in here. He didn't tell him anything about this.
He decides to act formally, "Excuse me sir? Where is Professor Lupin?"
"That is none of your concern is it Potter?" He so wanted to tell Harry, but not while the others were here, he went over to his ear, "Your Professor is simply not able to teach at this present time." He lets go, walking to the back of the class. "Turn to page 394." Harry looked over at him. As Snape waved his wand at Ron's book.
"Werewolves!?"
Harry kept his eyes on Snape, wondering what was going on here.
"But, sir," Hermione says, quite shocked, "we've just been learning Red Caps and hinkypunks. We were not meant to start nocturnal beasts for weeks."
"Quiet." Snape told Harry to stop looking at him. He can't help it though, not to mention he saw him naked. He looked away while blushing.
Ron wondered to Harry if he saw Hermione come in. He shook his head at him. He was to busy thinking about Snape, that he didn't realize if Hermione was absent.
Snape went back to front the class next to Harry's side. "Now which one of you can tell me the difference between an Animagus and a Werewolf?" Harry bumps his leg with his. This made Snape sneer a bit, "No one? I am disappointed."
"Please…sir?" Hermione says she simply can't help but be a Know-It-All, while she gives the class her answer. Harry puts on his invisibility cloak. Going over to Snape.
"Probably happy to be teaching Defense The Dark Arts Professor?" he whispered. Snape looked over at where Harry was supposed to sit.
"Go back to your seat, or I will give you detention." Harry shrugged, not caring. "To answer your question. I am simply delighted for being a substitute for this class and being able to laugh at Lupin."
"Why laugh at Lupin?"
"I can't tell you that, Potter, but it's why he can't teach right now."
"Is it because of the pink hair?"
"No, it's something else. Now go back to your seat."
Harry nodded, going back to his seat, taking his cloak off.
Snape lectures Hermione about being a Know-It-All, "Five points from Gryffindor and Potter? You get detention with me for a week after disappearing from class." Harry pretends to grunt, but deep down he was happy with that. It's like having a date with his teacher.
"As an antidote to your ignorance and on my desk Monday morning two rolls of parchment on the werewolf with particular emphasis." The whole class grunts. Harry was happy to do an assignment that Snape wanted him to write.
Pretending he hated the assignment Harry reminds Snape that it is Quidditch tomorrow.
Snape leans on Harry's desk which his student was surprised by, "Then I suggest you take extra care Mr. Potter. Loss of limbs will not excuse you." Harry gaped at that, but Snape gave him a wink, he leaned near his ear, "Be careful Potter," he let go. "Page 394." Snape started reading from the text. Harry opens up a piece of paper that flew to him in the middle of lecture. Realizing Malfoy did it. He looks at it. Snape wanted Harry to be careful, not because of flying on a broom, but he wanted to warn him of the dementors, but simply couldn't say. Since Dumbledore is worried that would stop the game.
You guys already saw what Draco drew for him.
