Arriving back at the dungeon, I headed toward the greenish portal that appeared and went through it. And I appeared at another street that was slightly more dilapidated than the one before. I could see cracks on buildings and weeds growing on the road.

After getting out of the "safe zone" which consisted of a part of the street that zombies weren't in I was greeted by another zombie. It wasnt much different than its predecessor. Neither were its stats, just a tiny improvement so I went up to it and punched its head off.

I went past the corpse but as I went into an alleyway I saw something.

The most stereotypical rpg chest I have ever seen was tucked at the end of the alleyway. But disregarding how typical the chest looked my neurons were activated the moment I saw the chest.

I dashed over and opened it immediately, and was immediately met with a face full of poisonous fog.

[You have triggered a trap!]

[You have been poisoned.]

But at least the face full of irritating and painful burning poison gas wasn't for nothing as I still got the item inside.

[ You have found {Poisonous Daggger} ]

Of course, the chest seemed like it was just for the visuals as the item was inserted into my inventory the moment I opened the chest. As for the poison gas, I quickly dashed out the moment it was released so I only got poisoned for 3 painful seconds.

The dagger was nothing impressive, just an iron dagger that was enchanted with an enchantment that gave it the ability to have a chance to inflict weak poison on enemies when attacking. I am not very fond of using daggers and even if I was, Crimson was way better at both cutting and durability.

After the poison passed I gave myself a moment to recover my CP and HP before resuming throwing hands with any unfortunate zombie that crossed my path. The second floor was not much different than the first. Just slightly denser groups of enemies.

Well, that was before I encountered a bloater.

[ Bloater LV - 14 ]

HP: 2400

Vit: 20

Str: 15

Agi: 10

End: 15

A zombie that is engorged with poison. It can spit out poison from its mouth and is remarkably durable.

These fatsoes were incredibly annoying to deal with, while they weren't common per se. They weren't rare either, often hiding behind weaker grunts so that they could spit their poison at me more easily. But with my chakra enhancement and speed, I can circle around the horde quickly before beheading them with Crimson.

I also found another chest, this time it wasnt booby-trapped. And found [Black Leather Gloves] that boosted my poison resistance by 10%. As for the floor boss, it was just a bigger bloater with inflated stats. I managed to quickly dash to its ankles and chop them up before scrambling its skull with Crimson.

I had also leveled up once more.

[F3]

The zombies had gotten an upgrade, their stats now went up to 21 and gave 300 exp. And alongside bloaters, there were now brutes that had fewer stats than the F1 boss but still posed a challenge when in a group. I got my fair share of injuries when encountering a group.

It was time to grind the best offensive spell that I have. The Fireball. It is actually decently powerful. Being able to take down a weaker zombie with a single shot. With slight AOE and decent range, it was a very good spell. The only caveat of it is the high Chakra cost and even that isn't a problem with my large CP and my CP regeneration.

As it levels up, so does its cost. It is a powerful but costly spell. But it also has opened me a new way to deal with enemies.

As I was thinning out the zombie population of this street I suddenly saw a sight I didn't want to.

Hundreds of zombies. As in the LITERAL hundreds.

[ Zombie Horde - Lv. 40 (Elite) ]

30 Vit

15 Str

10 Agi

Around a hundred zombies have gotten tired of being butchered and have unionized.

Can I take this on? They may be incredibly weaker than me but the number advantage is not insignificant. I don't have infinite stamina and they can pile up on me.

Whatever, this is a mini-boss so it's not like I can disengage at any time. Plus an elite enemy have much better drops. Taking out Crimson I got into a combat stance and waited for the zombies to approach me.

The moment the wave of undead reached me I activated Chakra enhancement and slashed toward the horde. Beheading 3 and wounding 3. Chakra, while making my attacks much stronger also gives them a slight aoe effect with the trail of energy.

Holding one hand in front of me with a foot braced behind my back I slashed out with the knife. Gutting any of the undead that came close. But I was eventually circled as the undead started piling up on me.

At grappling distance, instead of using Crimson, I opted for some good old CQC. Being down I dropped an enhanced elbow on a zombies head and splattered it. Seeing one latched onto my leg I enhanced it even further with Chakra before swinging that leg and pushing back several zombies along with the latched on my leg.

Putting my foot back down I carried over the momentum and punched a zombie's head off before turning it into an elbow into another zombie, then twisting my body and releasing a turning kick, pushing even more away and giving me breathing room.

I backhanded a zombie approaching from behind before delivering a devastating hook kick to its sternum, the weight of the blow transferring to the ones behind him.

But I was running out of steam quickly

I had only killed around two hundred before my CP started tipping down to 30%. But then a revelation visited me.

Why did I have to fight them head-on? My favorite thing in games was finding and using exploits after all.

Why would you spend so much effort grinding against a boss that you can't win against when you can just stand outside a specific spot of his arena and pelt god with wooden arrows until he dies?

My eyes darted around the terrain before I found it.

So, I pushed the undead away and using my superior agility climbed up a building and started chucking fireballs down.

And it worked.

So, I just sat there, chucking fireballs down whenever my CP recovered enough for me to do so. It was very anticlimactic

Before long, due to me chugging mp (which strangely recovers chakra too) potions like water and spamming fiery armageddon down the horde died down rather quickly. Giving me a gacha token in exchange.

This was the life.

Although I dislike the fact that my exp bar seemed to not like the notion of going up faster, I have found the perfect method for grinding. I would rush out with Chakra Enhancement, aggro a fuckton of enemies. Climb the roof of a particularly tall house and rain down hell.

This method gave me a lot of juicy juicy exp and loot, plus I just had to chug the occasional mana potion and I would be fine.

Speaking of, mana, health, and stamina potions were rather common drops from the occasional chest scattered around. All except a few were rated minor which while effective wasn't a game-changer, but it healed a decent portion of my health at this point in time which was nice.

And, contrary to how it is named, the mana potions works for recovering my Chakra reserves as well. And I have no idea why, maybe they came from the same source? But what use was it to question this game logic? I will only bother spending neurons on it if I am bored and have the time to.

For all I cared, the stamina potion could recover my health and I couldn't care less at this moment. Though I didn't remember any potions in Naruto probably because they didn't need it but maybe I could make a bank using alchemy and selling Hp pots.

...And get captured by the ROOT.

Sigh* the woes of being a genius.

This was the kind of monologue that went through my head as I spent hours throwing down Fireballs. Hell, the skill level was well over 30 at this point.

As I was raining down hell upon these heathen zombies I decided to shift through my loot for the 2 skill books I had gotten since I ended up here.

[You have learned the skill: Life Drain]

Cost: 50CP/s

Through contact, you can drain a target's health and add it to your own at a rate of 10HP per second.

[You have acquired the skill: Poison Resistance]

Increases your resistance to all poisons by 1%

While they seemed like not very good skills, that was only because of their low levels. Some skills start off well and then have a lackluster power curve. And other start badly but have a ridiculous power curve.

Take poison resistance for example. 1% poison resistance is shit. But if I leveled it up to 100 somehow...

Immunity to all poisons.

I know for a fact that there are some broken poisons in Naruto that can kill even Kage-level Shinobi.

So I started taking poison in the smallest doses. The bloaters can drop minor poison vials so I took a drop or two of it. It tasted like liquid sewer and felt like magma but my poison resistance started rising immediately.

All the while I was dropping some supa hot fire at the zombies below.

The joy of multitasking was great but the feeling of euphoria from grinding like the old times was like no other.

I wish I had my phone with me to pass time though.

But after a while of chucking down fiery ordinance, I realized that the mobs had stopped coming and that I had defeated the boss, somehow.

It was probably a boss without any reach that got dragged by the commotion and got burnt to a crisp without being able to retaliate. And I didn't feel like confirming by going through 100 kill logs so I just walked through the portal after grabbing the loot.

[F5 Boss Floor]

It seemed like this place was the end of the dungeon. Which was good since I have been here for over several hours and I was about to get exhausted sooner than later.

The floor itself was unusual though. I was in front of a giant warehouse. I couldn't wander far off so that must be the boss arena. The game was being unusually generous and giving me plenty of time to rethink and run away.

Regardless, I wouldn't get anywhere besides back to the starting point if I start running away from the finish line. Psyching myself up I pushed open the doors of the warehouse and entered.

'Fuck.'

In the middle of the giant warehouse was a giant floating limbless torso with multiple exposed organs hanging out of its "body" including a brain in place of its head stuck to its neck. With a large disfigured humanoid face on the right side of its torso. It used its elongated exposed organs to hold itself up like stilts.

[Zombie Devil - LV 50 (Boss)]

A devil born from and embodying humanity's fear of zombies. It is capable of creating and maintaining a near-endless supply of undead. While the main body may not be as strong as its level suggests, its strength lies in the power of its horde.

Yeah, the horde is the right word considering the over at least a hundred zombies crowding the warehouse. Even better, the doors closed behind me. But even still, this was almost tailor-made for me as Undead are almost always weak to fire. And fire is one of my only spells.

In fact, that very same spell had leveled up considerably due to how much I have used it here.

[Fireball Lv. 32/100]

Cost: 1020 CP

Shoot a ball of flame. Deals (Int x 2.6) damage. Has a 30% chance to inflict burn.

Activating my Chakra Enhancement I started running around, avoiding zombies in the crowded warehouse and aggroing crowds as I ran around like a headless chicken. Of course, I wasn't running around aimlessly, I was trying to get them in an as big of a group as I could. Thankfully, the big guy in the middle wasnt getting involved for now.

Once the horde was dense enough to my liking I climbed up one of the steel beams before dispelling my chakra and chugging a minor health potion for safety sake. With my health topped off I raised my hand and shot a fireball.

BOOOOM!!!*

Within a second a giant ball of flame, the size of a beachball got launched from my hands and landed in the middle of the horde, and exploded like a grenade, sending limbs flying everywhere and inflicting burn on most of the undead as they burnt to death.

Not letting up I released another fireball.

And another.

And another.

I love cheesing games what can I say? You must take every advantage you can get. Take a mile for every inch.

Just as I prepared another ball of fireball, the Zombie Devil moved and lashed out with one of his entrail tentacles. Jumping over the slow tentacle I dispelled the spell and activated chakra Enhancement as my body almost moved with ingrained instinct.

As soon as I was grounded I shook off the shock from the fall as another organ whip struck out toward me, I brought out Crimson and as soon as the whip reached me I cut it in half. The Zombie Devil screamed in pain and froze up and I used the opening to spring toward the main body.

It barely had a horde left and whip-like attack users are usually weaker at close range. Sidestepping I avoided another vertical whip slam. Ducking I dodged a burnt-up corpse that the devil had picked up and launched at me. Tensing up my legs I shot forward and reached the devil as it tried using its entrails to spear me.

Pushing the chakra enhancement to the limits I burned through my reserves and in an impressive display of skill managed to dodge parry and cut every hit before jumping up and stabbing my knife into the devil's eyes.

ARRRRRGH!!!*

Even more tendrils rose up to grab me but I didn't relent and tore down the blade and put a giant gash on the devil's face. Just before they reached me I pushed off with all my might as I held out my arm.

'Fireball!'

Using all of my remainder chakra I overloaded the ball of flame as it impacted the devils gaping eysocket and blew it from inside out. Recoiling from the impact I unceremoniously fell to the ground as I was overwhelmed by notifications.

[ Congratulations, you've acquired skill {Zombification} ]

[You've learned the skill Zombification]

[Zombification Lv. 1/100]

Cost: 100CP

Use a body to create a zombie servant. The type of zombie you can raise depends on multiple factors such as the race, level, and condition of the body. The amount of undead that can be maintained at once is equal to your Int/5.

Undead Available: [Zombie Grunt, [Zombie Dog, [Zombie brute]

That's... a lot. First of all, Zombification. I can live with that. It's no {Kamehameha} but I think it fits well with me. Also I could see the irony of getting the power to create zombies when I was just dying to kill them.

Yes... In fact, Zombification is really good. Procuring people will be annoying but manageable if I can get myself a sweet sweet undead army. It must be the dream of every man at least once of leading an undying army of your foes.

[Congratulations! You have reached level 40, Awakening {Talent}]

Seeing those words on screen my eyes nearly bugged out of my eyes. Talent or another form Kekkei Genkai was important to a Gamer, to say the least. This thing would probably be the backbone of my gaming life. If it sucked then my gaming career probably sucked too.

Sending a small prayer to Lord Helix and Lord RNGesus I opened my eyes to see what I rolled.

[ You have awakened {Chromas} ]

[Chromas Lv. 1/100]

W.D. Gaster's signature magic. Allows the user to use different types of magic related to the seven Soul Traits. It also gives access to the Gaster Blasters and other techniques.

It summons up to seven hands each with a hole in the center, and the color of the chroma he uses will fill the hole:

Red - Takes the form of lasers or energy blasts.

Orange - Creates small white orbs that when triggered turn orange and release powerful explosions.

Yellow - Rapid fires small bullets

Green - Summons a shield or dome to block attacks and heal others or yourself

Cyan - Fires multiple strings at the target, one for each finger

Blue - Very versatile. Fires up to two circular razor blades per hand.

Purple - Shoots out a purple spike that induces slow healing

Pink - Shoots dark magenta triangular projectiles that when hit induces the target into a hallucination of their worst fears.

Black - Boosts all other Soul Traits and stats

568 x INTWIS (x100 when using Black)

{Chromas} huh?

This is good in fact very good. Sure it's no Sharingan but it can be said to be better, after all I could make a whole lot of gaster blasters and just bombard my enemies.

Besides using the pink hand will help me get around the cheaty healing of Hashirama cells and the Byakugo seal.

Chromas is low risk high reward.

And I am not afraid of gambling with those odds.

...I am afraid of passing out in the dungeon though so... [ID Escape].

My body vanished and my bloodied self landed on my couch, staining it with blood. But I couldn't care less with how exhausted I was and the exhausted status effect couldn't be got rid of without a good rest.
