Chapter 20: Before Carnival Parade Night
Rafael is thinking about bringing his wife Eva to the Samba Club. He loved her so much and he decides to show her how much he loves her. Rafael went to Blu and Jewel hollow first. Blu and Jewel are spending time with their children Bia, Carla, and Tiago.
"Hey lovebirds and children." Rafael greeted his spix macaw friends.
"Hi Rafael." Blu greeted him.
"Hey Rafael. How is it going?" Jewel asked her toucan friend.
"Uncle Rafael." Bia, Carla, and Tiago hugged their toucan uncle.
"Hey kids, so good to see you." Rafael said.
"It's going good. I want to ask you a question?" Rafael said.
"What's the question buddy?" Blu asked him.
"You guys know I love Eva, right?" Rafael said.
"Of course we do, she is your wife." Jewel said.
"I decide to take Eva to the Samba Club but I got to tell Nico and Pedro to play the music The Girl By Ipanema. That song made us fall in love with each other." Rafael explained to his friends.
"How did you met Eva?" Jewel asked him.
"I met Eva at the Carnival parade." Rafael answered.
Flashback
Rafael explained his story.
In 2008, it was a big night in Rio De Janeiro, it was Carnival parade night where people wear costumes and dance. I was at the Carnival parade watching their performers. I was dancing to the music and I have a blast of my life. I saw a beautiful female keel-billed toucans, her name is Eva. She was the beautiful girl I met. I introduced myself to her and she introduced herself to me. We talked and I ask her to dance and she said yes. We danced so romantically. I know that Eva was the perfect bird for me. I want to spend the rest of my life with her. I ask her out on a date and she said yes. We had a first date at the Samba Club. After our first date, we went on more dates a few days later. Our sixth date, we had our first kiss. Everyday we bond together and went to the club, the waterfall, the beach, and the park. I enjoyed the kiss. In 2010, I propose to her and ask her to marry me. She accepted my proposal and she said yes. We kiss each other after I proposed to her. Our friends was happy for us including Nico, Pedro, and Luiz. We had our wedding at the Samba Club. Then after 4 months, we had toucan kids.
Back to the present.
"That's my story on how I met Eva." Rafael finished his story.
"That was a romantic story." Jewel said.
"Yeah, I was listening to everything you told us. That was a beautiful story." Blu said.
"Thanks for listening to my love story." Rafael thanked his friends.
"Anytime Rafael. You are one of our close friends." Jewel said.
"Close friends stick together." Blu added.
"I got to talk to Nico and Pedro about playing the song The Girl From Ipanema By Frank Sinatra." Rafael said.
"They will say yes. Those birds are the party animals we know." Blu said.
"See you lovebirds and children." Rafael wave to his friends.
"See you Rafael." Blu and Jewel said at the same time.
"Bye Uncle Rafael see you later." Bia, Carla, and Tiago said to their toucan uncle.
"Love story are so romantic to hear." Jewel said.
"Yes they are honey. That's how people fall in love with each other. Guys met women in other places, get to know them, go on dates and have fun with each other. After spending time, the man decides to get married to a woman and live a happy life." Blu said.
"Blu you sure do know romance." Jewel said.
"Yeah while I was living with Linda. She always watched romance movies." Blu told his fiancé.
"Movies are for people to entertain." Jewel said.
"Yes honey." Blu said.
