Okay, this was suggested by a really dedicated fan… who suggested a lot of one-shots. Thank you, Lord Ashwood, the 42nd for the suggestion and for explaining the fanmade 2P AU.
Unfortunately, there's no official story to the 2P AU, but it's pretty much everyone's personalities opposite of what they are… I mean inversions of their personalities… is it opposites or inversions? I don't know, but it clashes well with an official AU of Ash Ketchum. Enjoy.
Ash, Charlie, Vaggie, and the rest of the hotel residents stood in the middle of the lobby with wide eyes at their guests. Their guests being… them. Well, something like that. Standing right before them in the lobby were these duplicates of them, except completely different.
The other Ash had brighter colors than his original counterpart, however, everyone else's other self had all bits of red replaced with blue. Not everything as their eyes remained the same. However, that wasn't all.
The other Ash's hair was drooping and he looked more nervous. Pikachu had a 'try me' look on his face, Charlie had a more stern look with her plastered on her face eyes half-lidded, Vaggie was smiling brightly and waving, Alastor's smile seemed more forced as he was shivering in place, Angel had his shirt buttoned up and looked disinterested, Husk was drunk but smiling surprisingly, Pentious had better posture and was smiling, and Niffty… didn't look like Niffty.
"So, uh…" Ash started before waving. "Hi, me… again."
"... Uh… y-yeah, uh… hello, me." Other Ash says while nervously waving back.
"Okay, I'm gonna say it. This is the weirdest thing I've seen in my life." Vaggie says.
"Ditto. This is… way too strange for my taste." Other Charlie says as she looks around.
"So… where did these lookalike motherfuckers come from?" Husk asks.
"I-I'm sorry. My Arc Phone was glitching a bit and… well… uh… we just ended up here." Other Ash says.
"So, you guys are like… from another dimension?" Charlie says as she walks up to him. "Wow, I never thought I'd see the day."
"I know! I am really excited to meet someone new here. It's so nice to meet you!" Other Vaggie says before taking Charlie's hand in hers. "I can't believe I'm seeing another Charlie right now. You look exactly like my Charlie. That is crazy! I wasn't expecting-"
"Vaggie, please, calm yourself." Other Charlie sternly tells her.
"Sorry. I get a little excited sometimes." Other Vaggie says as she steps back before laughing to herself as she plays with her hair.
"Well, I definitely like what I'm seeing." Angel says before walking over to his other self. "Not bad for another me. Rawr. ~"
"Ugh!" Other Angel says disgustedly before shoving the other him back. "Personal space, bitch. I ain't on the clock."
"What the… what kind of 'me' would turn down having a fucking good time?"
"Well, me and 'other' me are pretty much opposites when it comes to personality. Guess it applies to everyone else?" Ash tells him.
"Tell me you're shitting me."
"I'm not."
"So wait… 'that' Angel Dust doesn't like doing perverted shit?" Husk says before looking at the aforementioned demons.
"Wait, 'this' version of me likes doing perverted shit?" Other Angel says. "What kind of fucked up world is this?"
"Hey, fuck you!" Angel says.
"Pass." Other Angel says before walking away and pulling out his phone.
"Wha… d-did… w-was I just fucking rejected by myself?... Twice?"
"That's a sentence I never thought I'd hear out of Angel Dust." Vaggie says before looking at the other her. "So… you're supposed to be like me but… opposite." She asked, getting an enthusiastic nod in return. "This is… honestly I was expecting worse."
"I kno-Wait, what?" Other Vaggie asks.
"Sorry, didn't mean anything by it, just… uh… no offense."
"None taken. You're fine." Other Vaggie says before going up to her. "Still, this is so amazing. It's like looking in a mirror."
Ash chuckled at her enthusiasm. "You could say that again." He then looked at his other self. "So, I see you met the Charlie and others from your world. Guess you're doing well for yourself."
"O-oh, uh…" Other Ash says before looking at Charlie and Vaggie, then blushing and sheepishly chuckling while twiddling his fingers. "Yeah, I-I'm doing better."
"So you guys are dating too? That's great! I am so happy for you." Charlie says enthusiastically.
"Yeah, he's something special." Other Charlie says in a bored tone. "I am trying to help 'my' Ash not be so sensitive, and his training has made… some progress, thankfully."
"He's been doing great!" Other Vaggie says before she pulls Other Ash into a hug. "It's been a few months now, but he is coming along so greatly. And we are so proud of you, right Honey!?" She ended it by giving him a big kiss on the cheek.
"Uh…" Other Ash started to say as his face turned red and steam started to emit from his head. "Y-yeah, it's… *gulp* it's… s-so good."
"That's good to hear." Ash says. "Good to know they have your back."
"OH! Hey there! I'm Niffty!" Niffty says while running to her other self, and she over-enthusiastically shakes her hand. "Which you know, because you're me! It's so crazy to meet another me! I can't believe I'm meeting another me!"
"Okay, okay." Other Niffty says while pulling her hand away, the other her still shaking. "It's nice to… meet you, I guess."
"OOOH! You wanna go fight bugs!?" Niffty asks while pulling out a needle as the other her looked worried.
"Uh, no. No, I'm good." Other Niffty says while stepping back.
"Come on! We can kill them and then we can use their corpses in a puppet show as a warning to others!"
"No, no, I said…" Other Niffty says before she starts backing up more, before screaming as she starts running.
"Wait! Let's go kill bugs!" Niffty shouts as she chases her around the room.
"Get away from me, you psycho!"
"HA HA!" Other Husk laughs loudly as he throws an arm around his other annoyed self. "Oh man, if only our Niffty could be like that."
"Yeah, yeah, this is… definitely not weird at all." Husk says.
"Aw, come on! Don't be like that, pal. Live a little." The other cat says while slurring a bit before downing another drink.
"Well, I know you're my opposite. Cause I ain't a lightweight."
"Hey… hey, bud… don't… don't, don't judge me, okay. I'm only on bottle number two-PFFFFT-HA!" Other Husk then starts laughing hard as the other him wipes his spit off his face. "Number two! Number two-hahaha…" He continued laughing as he slid down his other self and lay on the floor, still laughing.
"... Right."
"So, uh…" Pentious stuttered a bit as went up to his counterpart. "I-I'm sorry, it's really hard to think of something to say, particularly to someone who looks and sounds and… has the… same name as me… I… I didn't think this was going to happen."
"Well, there is no need to fear, young… me." Other Pentious says in a charismatic tone. "I know how hard it is to talk to one another, but you may not have to worry. After all, I am not one to judge based on something so minor."
"Oh… y-yes. Understood." Pentious says, his eyes sparkling.
"Huh, look at that. Pentious sounding like a discount theater kid. That's gonna be in my head for shit knows how long." Angel says. "Anyways, what's up with your version of smiles over here?" He says while referring to the other Radio Demon.
"D-don't mind me… I… I'm not here to cause any trouble." Other Alastor stutters.
"Ha ha, is that right, my dear friend?" Alastor laughed as he walked up to his counterpart who stepped slightly back. "Well, I must say, it is a pleasure to meet you." He then says while holding his hand out.
"Y-yes… quite a pleasure." Other Alastor says while shaking his hand.
As they stared into each other's eyes… Alastor's face went freaky. Making Other Alastor jump in fear before dashing away to hide behind his version of the Princess of Hell.
"Ya see what I have to deal with every day?" Other Charlie says as her counterpart furrowed her brow at the statement. "So…" She then looks at Ash and Alastor. "You're the more confident and mature Ash and Alastor, huh? Gotta say, pretty impressive." She says, surprisingly smiling a bit with her half-lidded eyes.
"Yeah…" Vaggie says before she and her Charlie pull their human boy away and hold him protectively. "What's it to you?"
"Oh, relax. I'm not trying to take him from you." Other Charlie says before embracing her human boy. "I am perfectly contempt with keeping 'my' Ash with me."
"Agreed!" Other Vaggie says while excitedly joining in the hug.
Other Ash clamped up as more steam started to emit from his head as he laughed nervously. Their counterparts watched, all three expressing awkwardness at the picture.
"Okay, not going to lie, they're kinda cute." Charlie whispers to Ash.
"Hot as hell, too!" Other Husk says while sticking his arm into the air from the floor, before drunkenly laughing again.
"Yeah… I'm done with this." Husk says as he leaves his counterpart on the ground.
"Me too. You got anything strong back there, Whiskers?" Other Angel says as he follows the cat.
"I'll see what I can get ya."
"Anyways, so…" Other Charlie says before looking around. "This is your version of the hotel, huh? Looks… a lot more red… and clean than the one I'm running."
"Yeah, it's thanks to Alastor we were able to get things like this." Charlie says as the Radio Demon's smile widens.
"Oh, your Alastor made it look this good?" Other Charlie says with a condescending smile. "Well, I wish I had your Alastor so that I wouldn't have to tell him to pick up the slack." She says while glaring at the other Radio Demon.
"I-I'm doing my best." Other Alastor whimpered.
"Ya know, you don't have to be so hard on him." Ash tells her while frowning.
"Just saying, for an Overlord with immense power, I had to do most of the work to get the place back in order." She says before she paced a bit to get a better view. "Still, gotta hand it to yours. He has some… decent taste at lea-OH!" She then jumped, startling everyone else. "What in the unholy Hell is that?!" She shouted as she pointed at the bar where Husk and Other Angel were at.
"Just some of the renovations we had done. Adds a bit of color, don't ya think?" Alastor says with a smug expression.
"A bit of color!? It's fucking hideous!"
"Hideous?" Alastor growled.
"Yes! It fucking clashes with the entire place!"
"Well, some of us have good tastes, and others… are you. " Alastor says snidely before Husk choked on his drink and Other Angel laughed out loud.
"..." Other Charlie blinked in annoyance. "Ya know what, I take it back. Keep your Alastor." She says before going to her version of the human boy. "Anyways, is your thing working, yet?"
"Uh… sadly not." Other Ash says while showing his Arc Phone which was a black screen.
"Great. Perfect."
(Sometime later)
"Aw, aren't you the cutest whittle thing?" Other Husk was drunkenly gushing over Oshawott in his hands. "Who's a cute whittle otter? Who's a cute whittle-" He continued gushing before the otter uncomfortably reached out for the other cat who took him away.
"Hey, been a while since I last saw you." Ash says as he sits on the couch with his counterpart. "How have things been for you?"
"Well, things were… fine for the most part." Other Ash tells him. "I got through the Kalos Region all good… but I lost the Pokemon League."
"Yeah, me too. Guess that curse comes with both of us."
"Really?" He says perking up before looking down. "Right, guess it's kinda inevitable for us, huh?"
"Eh, don't let it get you down. We'll get one eventually." Ash says while patting his shoulder. "But anyways, how are things with your Charlie?"
"Well, she's harsh, but she means well." Other Ash tells him before looking at his princess. "She works really hard and gets pretty stressed about getting work done on time, so I try the best I can to help out." He says before smiling. "She is nice though. She and Vaggie try to help me get over my… well, my insecurities."
"That's good. At least it's nice to know that she's still kind where you come from." Ash says before looking over at the Vaggies talking. "Both of them mean a lot to me. Even though they don't have to do much, they always try to help me out with problems. They made the time I was stuck down here the best."
"Yeah, no kidding. They went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable in Hell too." Other Ash says as he looks over, seeing his version of Vaggie laugh hard at something her counterpart said. "Makes me have faith that hopefully the Hazbin Hotel works."
"I'm sure it will." Ash chuckles. "So, uh… how did you react when you heard about the Exterminations?"
"T-the what?" Other Ash asks, looking confused.
"... Exterminations, you know, the day where… angels…" Ash starts to explain before seeing his counterpart look even more puzzled. "Come down to… t-there's no yearly Extermination day in your world?"
"No… I… I don't get what you're talking about."
Hearing that, Ash's eyes widened. Was this version of him not told about the Extermination or did this one not have Exterminations in his world? Now that he thought about it.
"What's… Adam and Lute like from your world?" He asked, almost afraid of the answer.
"Oh, w-well, they're pretty nice. A little too nice. A-Adam's pretty neat, upbeat, and nice to talk to. Lute is kinda… well… t-the best way I can put it is… she's more touchy than him."
"... Really?"
"Yeah… just wished she didn't pinch so hard."
Ash did not know how to respond. The Adam and Lute he knew were so unbearable, self-centered, and narcissistic that he despised thinking about them. Now, he was hearing that they were… kind and nice by his counterpart. Now yes, things were different in his world, hell, Team Rocket was a crime-fighting group where he came from, but Adam and Lute being good?
"H-hey, you okay?" Other Ash asked out of concern.
"... Yeah, yeah, all good." Ash tells him.
"Pika, Pikachu." Pikachu says to his counterpart.
"Pi… Pikachu!" Other Pikachu says while letting out strong electricity from his cheeks then chuckling proudly.
"So, what happened when you first met them?" Ash asked, curious.
"W-well, they heard about the plan of redeeming sinners and seemed to like it." Other Ash says. "The last thing they s-said was that they'd talk to the higher-ups in Heaven b-but… we haven't heard back from them yet."
"Ah… I see. Well, that's a good sign."
"Yeah, hopefully, i-it works out soon. I'm kinda worried by how long it's taking though."
"... Yeah, I'm sure things'll work out." Ash says, in hopes of reassuring his counterpart.
Meanwhile with the princesses.
"So, nice to meet you… me." Charlie chuckles as she sits on the bar stool next to her counterpart. "Gotta admit, kinda odd how…" She tried to think of something non-offensive to say. "Different you are."
"Yeah, and it's weirding me out to see how… kindergarten-ish you are." Other Charlie tells her.
"... Right." Charlie says awkwardly.
"Anyways, how'd you meet your Ash?"
"Well, funny story really. Me and the others were doing what we could to bring the hotel together before opening and then suddenly there was this-"
"Bright flash and then Ash was suddenly there passed out on the floor with Pikachu." They both say in sync.
"JINX!" Charlie says excitedly.
"... Yeah, been there." Other Charlie says before lowering her hand.
"He gave me a lot of hope when he arrived. Especially when I was thinking he was sent by someone from Heaven."
"Yeah, I thought he was something from Heaven at first too, turns out that wasn't the case. Just a wimpy kid."
"Well, that's rude to say about him? Isn't he your boyfriend?"
"Of course he is. He was annoying at first, but… honestly, his personality really grows on you." Other Charlie says before looking at her human boy. "He just lacks confidence most of the time. I'm only trying to help him get over that part of him."
"Yeah, you told me that earlier. Still, Ash is the kindest and most sweet boy I have ever met in my life. That's why I… hehe, ya know." Charlie says while blushing.
"I know. That's where my Ash is no different. Kind, polite-"
"And so friggin cute!" Other Vaggie jumped in. "The way he gets flustered just by being around him, his stutter is so adorable, and the moment he smiles, it's just-AH! Oh, I feel like I'm melting just by being around him. ~" She giggles while blushing heavily.
"Right, uh… good to know." Vaggie says before patting her on the shoulder.
"Ya know, our Ash is kinda the same. He is cute whenever he's embarrassed." Charlie speaks up.
"Sadly, such an innocent soul is bound to be corrupted by our world, but…" Other Charlie thought for a moment. "Surprisingly, he's taken it a lot better than expected."
"Yours had a bit of innocence to him too when you first met, huh?"
"It didn't completely die, but ya know, he's gonna have to grow up at some point."
"Oh come on, it doesn't have to be that fast, Charlie. I wanna keep my sweet little Ash as he is for as long as I can." Other Vaggie gushes before looking over and waving as her human waves back.
"I understand that. There's really something special about him." Vaggie tells her.
"HEY! Stop touching my ass!" Other Angel screamed.
"I just wanna know if it still feels as good to grab." Angel says. "And it certainly does. ~"
"Well, can you not!? I said I to leave me alone already."
"I mean… y-you could… grab mine if you'd like." Other Alastor says.
"Oh-ho, damn. Smiles here is into that." Angel says before cracking all his knuckles. "Say less."
"No-Don't encourage him!" Other Angel says after shoving his counterpart back.
"Seriously? I just wanna grab some ass."
"Ha… Never going to happen." Alastor tells him.
"Wow. Alastor giving Angel permission to grope him." Vaggie says. "That's… really weird."
"Angel going along with it is even weirder." Other Charlie says.
"There is one thing I wanna ask. Since you're like the opposite of me, does your hotel get like… more people coming to it?" Charlie asked her counterpart.
"Unfortunately not, barely anyone comes. I'm doing the best I can to keep that shitty place running and no one thinks to appreciate my hard work."
"Well, it's not really about being praised. It's about helping sinners. Don't you want them to achieve redemption and ascend to-"
"Oh, I don't give a shit about redemption."
That one sentence caused Charlie and the Vaggies to freeze in shock. The princess in particular had never expected to hear such a thing from another her.
"... Excuse me?"
"Yeah, I don't really care who wants to better themselves or whatever."
"Wh… t-then why did you open the hotel!?" Charlie yells in disbelief.
"I didn't. My dad insisted I take over for him while he's doing god knows what."
"... Dad… opened the hotel to help redeem sinners."
"Yeah, something about 'sticking it to Heaven' and 'showing that he can do good' or some shit, I don't know or care for." Other Charlie says before reaching for a glass, only to realize she didn't have one. "Hey, Husk, can I get a margarita?"
"Yeah, comin' right up." Husk says as he gets behind the bar.
"Huh, doesn't ramble on about alcohol recipes…" Other Charlie says before humming for a second. "So, could we like maybe swap Husks?"
"Trust me, princess. If you're annoyed with him, you don't wanna deal with me." Husk says after referring to his counterpart who laughed in all his drunken glory.
"So, wait, you don't want to help people? Not save Hell from overpopulation?" Charlie asks.
"Honestly, that's not my problem." Other Charlie says nonchalantly.
"Wait, so you're just alright with the Exterminations going on?" Vaggie asks in disbelief.
"I-I'm sorry, the what?" Other Charlie asked, puzzled.
Hearing that also caught the girls off guard.
"Y-you don't have Exterminations in your world?"
"You still have them?"
"... What do you mean still have them?"
"Well, they've stopped happening here. Last year, my dad had a meeting with the angels about the hotel, and… well it seems like they just stopped doing it."
"Hold on, so… did you never have a meeting with the angels?" Charlie asked.
"Only one not ago. Regret it since they practically patronized me being all 'bubbly and sweet', pinching Ash's cheeks, calling him cute, as if Heaven isn't filled to the brim with bastards who have been spoiled to high fucking… well that place." Other Charlie rants before taking a sip from her drink. "Honestly, I don't care for that shitty place. No one in Hell wants to go there, but if someone does, I do not care."
Other Vaggie looked back and forth between the two nervously before chuckling nervously. "Ah, she's such a kidder." She says while elbowing her girlfriend.
"I'm not kidding. I meant all of that."
… an awkward silence took form in that moment. Charlie and Vaggie were left in disbelief. Sure the last few things the princess' counterpart said were nuts, but this… was beyond wild. Other Vaggie looked back and forth, trying to find a way to come back from this.
"So, uh… uh… how did you and your Ash start dating?" She asked, desperate for a change of subject.
"O-oh, uh, well… funny story. I don't know if it happened the same way as you guys, but… see he had a problem with his phone and teleported to-" Charlie started to say.
"To the Lust Ring?" Other Charlie asked.
"YES! Oh my gosh, did you have to go get him there too?"
"Ah-huh. That was a fun call from Asmodeus."
(Flashback)
"Yeah, I have some whiney bitch over here that won't stop crying-" Other Asmodeus says as Other Fizz was hugging and patting Other Ash who was curled in a ball sobbing before getting a knock at the door. "He won't stop asking me to take him to you. So, can you get your ass-Oh, you're already here." He says after opening the door to her.
(Flashback over)
"Alright… so, he was under the effects of-" Charlie started to say.
"Yep." Other Charlie finishes.
"And then you decided to-"
"Yeah."
"And after that you-"
"Started dating? Yes."
"Okay, just checking."
"Heh, so not so different. That's so crazy." Other Vaggie chuckled as the other three smiled a bit. "... So how good at it is he?" She then says, making them jump.
"Vaggie!" Other Charlie yelled at her.
"Just saying, is… is he like the dom? Cause our Ash always lets us lead, so I figured maybe-"
"Vaggie!"
"What? I wanna know."
"I… I mean, he… did uh… we did kinda help him the first time, but he was… amazing, I'd say." Charlie says while giggling/blushing.
"Charlie, I don't think we should be telling them that." Vaggie explains.
"It's not really a big deal. Though I am somewhat curious, I guess." Other Charlie says.
"Well, he does know how to take control. I'll tell you that." Charlie says with a blush.
"Oooh, you don't say… You wouldn't mind letting us have a turn with him? ~" Other Vaggie asks in a low tone.
"Ew! No! What's wrong with you!?" Vaggie tells her.
"Nothing, nothing, just asking…" Other Vaggie says before getting a small smirk. "So, who tops? ~"
"Ya know what? Me and Vaggie have a-" Charlie started to say.
"A… a thing-" Vaggie talked over her.
"A thing that we need to-"
"That we forgot about-"
"Forgot about up in-"
"Over… up in-"
"Over-Up… y-yeah."
"Yeah."
The two then started to walk away, leaving their counterparts behind.
"I love you, but you really need to keep your mouth shut about those things." Other Charlie says before taking a sip.
"Can't blame me for being curious." Other Vaggie says before her girlfriend covers her face.
The Ashes were still talking about things before a beeping came from the other one's pocket. He reached in and pulled out his Arc Phone which unlike his counterpart's had gold replacing the white.
"Hey, my phone is working!" Other Ash called out.
"Ugh, finally! We can go home." Other Charlie says. "Alright, everyone grab your shit. We're going."
"Oh thank god." Other Angel says in relief.
"C-coming." Other Alastor says.
"Alright, everyone here?" Other Charlie says before doing rolecall. "Ash, Pikachu, Vaggie, Alastor, Angel, Husk…"
"Right here." Husk says while dropping their counterpart in front of them.
"Ugh… okay, Niffty?" She says before seeing the little demon still running and picking her up right as her counterpart was about to tackle her.
"Okay, you've got everyone." Husk says while taking his Niffty. "Your asses can get out of here now."
"Right. Ash, you know what to do."
"Okay…" Other Ash says as he's about to press the teleport button before looking at his counterpart. "I-it was good to see again…"
"Same here. Maybe we can see each other again sometime." Ash says.
"Yeah, I'd look forward to it."
"I hope to see you guys too!" Other Vaggie says while excitedly hugging her Ash.
"Yeah, uh… what they said." Other Charlie says before putting an arm around the boy.
"Right… right." Vaggie says through her teeth.
"It was good to see you guys while we could. You're always welcome back." Charlie says happily.
"G-good to know…" Other Ash says as steam was already emitting from his head before he pushes a button on the phone. "B-bye!"
And in a flash, the entire group of look-a-likes were gone. Ash chuckled before putting a hand on his hip, thinking it was a nice meet-up with an old friend.
"... I don't think I wanna see them again." Vaggie says.
"THANK YOU!" Angel yelled
