It was a normal day for Grimwood's or as normal as it could be and Lincoln and friends were in the middle of Lincoln's personal favourite class at the school: spellcraft. "...You will find the spell at the bottom of the page 143; you will be free to practice it on your own." Ms Grimwood said as the students opened up their spellbooks and turned to the page.
Lincoln glanced and frowned as there seemed to smudges in the ink; however he began doing the correct hand motions and began to read out the best he could the spell. The students had to jump out of the way as there seemed to be a small blast and Ms Grimwood had been frowning upon seeing Lincoln's demonstration. She was about to step in herself but stopped as Lincoln had already did the spell.
"Lincoln; I know you think this class is a blast but you didn't have to cause one..." Phantasma shrieked out loud as Sibella looked suddenly afraid as she didn't see her boyfriend.
"LINCOLN!" she shouted out about to rush to make sure he was still there when Tanis was closest and went rushed forward to check on her big brother figure. However Tanis' eyes widened and she then picked up a tired looking orange and white hamster.
"Uh... What spell was that... How did you get so big..."the hamster said with Lincoln's voice making the students pause wide eyes.
"Wait... Lincoln..." Sibella called out slowly as Lincoln looked at her in confusion; Tanis then moved Lincoln so that he could see his reflection faintly in the classroom's window. His small eyes widened at that.
"What... I'm a hamster? I want my thumbs back!" Lincoln snapped out loud moving about in Tanis' hands and Sibella put out her hands so that Tanis could carefully hand him over to her. "This is so humiliating... You're not gonna put me into a wheel or stuff my cheeks with pellets? Am I gonna have to pal with Geo from now on!" Lincoln cried out as most of the ghoul girls looked amused and Winnie was doing her best not to burst into laughter.
Sibella then started putting him close to her and clapping his fur; "Actually... Take your time..." Lincoln said feeling a reversal when Sibella would be close to Lincoln in her bat form. Then suddenly she turned into bat form and and holding him with her clawed feet she put him down on the desk and snuggled up to him with her wing over him. Tanis finding it adorable and awwed as they looked and Ms Grimwood picked up the spellbook that Lincoln had.
"My apologies Lincoln... I thought that I had god rid of all copies of this version... Recalled due to typos messing up spells and easily smudged ink... I can fix this once I find the counter spell..." Ms Grimwood said apologetically as she went to look through another spell book on dealing with fixing messed up spells.
"No rush..." Lincoln muttered out feeling relaxed.
Lincoln's reaction is based on the YouTube video Uzi & Pomni Are Forced To Run The Marketing Department; yeah I'm a big fan of the Amazing Digital Circus. Before you ask I am super psyched for Knights of Guinevere as a massive fan of the Owl House though I am concerned as TOH could be trauma inducing and that was Dana Terrace and co under Disney's management (will save you the rant about how the show was screwed out of a proper final season) and now free to make a show under an independent animation studio without worrying about making it friendly to kids... Especially with the taste that the teaser gave us. Plus second chapter in a row about Lincoln being caught in a transformative accident.
I also had some inspiration from the sequel of Lincoln Loud and the Ghoul School called Tales of Grimwood I think where Sibella turns Lincoln into a bird so that they could have a flight together at night.
