Lincoln and his family are gathered in the living room. He is sitting in one of his favorite chairs it is crimson red and plush. Lucy is sitting on his lap and they are both wrapped up in a blanket. The extended family was away doing their own traditions. But Lincoln and Lucy have there own now. The family was gathered in warm clothing all black. A fire was blazing in the hearth. A sickly dead tree was brought into the house it has no needles just decorations all home made by the assemble family members.
Lincoln clears his throat and said "is everyone ready for the family gift?"
His kids settle down. Everyone looks at Lincoln expectantly. A large tome with the loud Family tree and history written on it.
" with all these new people we thought it would be easier if we had a centrally located book to let you know how they are related to us. It has everyone." Said Lincoln
"So we aren't getting a hot tub." Said Loach
"We have jacuzzi baths" Said Luxury
"But I have to run those before I get into them." Said Loach
"Now before the rest of the family gets back Lucy has a poetry reading for you girls. And we have one more surprise. Before the family gift giving " Said Lincoln
they settle down again. " dearest spawn of sin, this has been quite the year. from family found and family lost. We have had quite an ordeal. But we are many now. So daughters rejoice you are louds."
"Now the final surprise" Said Lincoln
He hands every one of them a box. He has gotten everyone new game controllers. Now everyone has there own. This should hopefully stop his daughters from stealing his. Lucy gives her daughters their new journals.
"Now the family gift Exchange can commence. Remember nothing is not a gift. Despite what Your mother said in the past." Said Lincoln
" I still stand by that gift. I know I should've went with myself but I was still exploring those feelings. Plus I think the family would've been mortified to find me wrapped up underneath the tree." Said Lucy and Lincoln caresses her face.
"Ok youngest first Lvira you are up." Said Lincoln
"I got Lupa." Said Lvira
She opened the box to find a black Jack club.
" I thought you could use another one." Said Lvira and they hug.
"I got London." Said Liy
She opened it to find a toby mug.
"LeeLee, I got you." Said
Luxury Handing her a box. It was a pair of black headphones with cat ears.
"Bastet headphones. I love them." Said LeeLee

She opened it to find a movie reel
"It is a copy of the ghost and Mr. chicken." Said Lilith
"our favorite together movie." Said Lvira
"I got Loth." Said LeeLee
The sleepy girl opened it to find a Star map from her favorite game cut in glass.
"I got a laser contraption that makes these things." Said LeeLee
"I got Luxury" Said Locust
She opened it to find a feather duster and a lace headpiece and White half-apron.
"I needed more in my rotation." Said the maid
"the website I got it from said it was stain proof. So that is a Plus. " Said Locust
This was one of the few times a year that The twins would allow people to know who is who.
"I am Laura and I got sister Liy" Said

She opened a big box. It contained a new desk for sewing. With retractable sewing machine concealment.
"Thank you" Said Liy
"I am Layla and I got sister Loach." Said the twin nervously
She opened a suspiciously long package to find a New hiking stick crafted out of curly maple.
"It has a retractable concealed blade" Said Layla showing her how to open it.
"I got Layla and I figured out who got Laura it was Lupa so we worked together." Said the detective
They both handed they're gifts too the twins. They were Identical matching hook knives and tack hammers.
"How did you know our carpet attaching equipment was not a very High quality." Said the twins in unison
" I tripped over it" Said Lupa
"I got Liadan." Said Loach
She opened the box to find a pistol.
"A 38 special where did you get it?" Said Liadan
"I found it on my wonders" Said Loach
"We may have to go back there sometime" Said the detective
"I got Locust and I got her a Gilly stove. But the package is on the slow boat from England." Said London handing her a picture
"I got Lilith" Said Loth
She opened the Final package finding a bunch of vials filled with seeds and a hydroponic grow station.
"For my hard to get plants" Said the alchemist.
The kids started playing with their new gifts.
"Only three weapons this year." Said Lincoln
" nothing can beat last year where everyone got a weapon." Said Lucy
" don't remind me about LeeLee and London fencing. Cutlass versus Kopech was nerve-racking. Oh and should we be concerned about the pistol? Could've been used in a murder." Said Lincoln
"We can switch it out. I'm surprised the twins didn't make more guns. They have that milling machine now" Said Lucy
" they didn't get any of your shooting Club." Said Lincoln
"They did get Locust but she has all three of the guns she wants. A shotgun 22 combination rifle, a hunting rifle and a revolver. very practical child. She does bring in the most game." Said Lucy
" I still can't believe you convinced me to let them do that. But I do like the exotic meat. makes me feel like rib hard-core." Said Lincoln
"We enjoy our shooting time together immensely. Loach and Locust are very good hunters." Said Lucy
Lincoln kisses Lucy. Their family tradition having been completed.
