A week had passed since the parent meeting. The Grimwood girls' parents had recognized Marcus as their teacher and as their guardian to protect them from the spider queen.
Today was Sunday. They all had the day off. Marcus was doing push-ups in the living room.
-It's good that it's Sunday. So I have time to exercise.- Marcus said.
Miss Grimwood was standing next to Marcus, inhaling.
-It's obvious that you like exercise, Marcus.- Miss Grimwood said.

Suddenly there was a knock on the door.

Amelia walked inside. Marcus didn't say a word. He was processing what he heard.
-Hello Miss Grimwood.- Amelia said.

-Where do I put my things?.- Amelia asked.
-Your things?.- Miss Grimwood asked.
-Yes, my things. I'm going to study here now.- Amelia answered.
-Well... well...- Miss Grimwood didn't know what to say.

The Grimwood girls heard Marcus raise his voice and went down to see what was happening.

-You will go back home right now young lady.- Alador said.
-No. I will live in Grimwood now.- Amelia said.

Marcus didn't know that monster hunters existed. It was true that there were evil monsters that scared humans. I guess that was why monster hunters existed but Marcus was sure that Amelia's mother didn't deserve to die.
-Yes. One day I was walking with my wife and daughter. At that time Amelia was just a newborn. Out of nowhere a group of monster hunters appeared. They had ambushed us. I started to defend my wife and daughter but there were too many of them. I told my wife to take our daughter and run away. I stayed fighting with the hunters. Alador held his face. It was difficult for him to talk about it. Marcus had never seen Alador like that.
- My wife was lying on the ground. A hunter had caught her. At that moment I knew I had lost her. My daughter was not with her. I looked around to see where she was. Suddenly I heard a cry in a tree. I went to see what it was. My wife had hidden our daughter in the trunk of a tree. She had sacrificed herself to protect her. I hugged her with tears in my eyes. I'm so glad she was okay. Since that day I swore that I would keep her safe at all costs. Even if it meant she would hate me.- Alador said.
Marcus was silent. To think that Alador was hiding all that pain. Marcus felt empathy for him since he had lost his parents. Miss Grimwood and Matches were hiding in the kitchen. They heard the whole conversation. Tears were falling from Miss Grimwood's eyes and Matches was sad. They didn't dare to go out after hearing that.
-Amelia knows?.- Marcus asked.
-Of course not. How could I tell her something like that. I told her that her mother died of an illness.- Alador answered.
-You know Alador, I understand how you feel. I lost my parents but isolating Amelia from everyone and denying her to interact with people I don't think is what your wife wanted.- Marcus said.

-Can you smell her, Winnie?.- Ghost asked.
Winnie sniffed through the air.

The girls were still looking for Amelia.
-There she is!. I found her!.- Tanis warned.
Tanis had found Amelia behind a tree. She was sitting with teary eyes. The girls approached her.
-Amelia. Are you okay?.- Sibella asked.
-Yes, I'm fine. Leave me alone.- Amelia answered.
Amelia was in a bad mood after the talk she had with her dad. She wasn't in the mood to talk.
-You know what you can tell us. We are friends after all.- Tanis said.
With everything they had been through together, the Grimwood girls considered Amelia a friend.

-That's what made me uneasy.- Said Winnie.
Winnie's shaking got worse. She felt like her whole body was going to fall. Her wolf instincts told her that she was dangerous.
-Who is she? She's so big and hideous.- Said Tanis.
Hey... don't you think she could be...?.- Amelia couldn't finish the sentence because of fear.
-Exactly. I'm Tirannica. The spider queen.- Said Tirannica.
The girls were in shock. Their worst enemy was in front of them. The one who sent the possessed after them. This time she had come in person.

Amelia watched her transformation behind the tree where she was hiding. She was amazed.
-Oooh. How cool.- Amelia said.
-Your resistance is useless. Give up! Your destiny is to be devoured by me.- Tirannica said.
-You are not the one who decides our destiny.- Sibella said.
-Her!.- Winnie said.
The Grimwood girls began their battle with the spider queen.
In Grimwood, Partidos had smelled something in the air. He began to bark like crazy. He had also felt the presence of the spider queen. He ran to the door and scratched at it to be opened.
-What's wrong, Matches?.- Marcus asked.
Matches barked for the door to be opened.
-I've never seen him like this.- Miss Grimwood said.

Marcus went to open the door for Matches. Matches ran towards the forest the moment the door opened.

Marcus and Alador followed Matches into the forest.
In the forest, the girls continued to fight with the spider queen. Sibella and Winnie tried to cut her with their weapons but she defended herself with her enormous spider legs. After a while of trying to cut her down, the Spider Queen pins Sibella and Winnie to the ground with her spider legs. Seeing the danger her friends are in, Tanis uses her mummy powers to wrap the Spider Queen in her bandages. She manages to wrap her completely from the waist up but she easily destroys Tanis' bandages. The Spider Queen throws a web of web at Tanis and wraps it around her then throws her into the air and gets under her. She opens her mouth to swallow her when she falls but Elsa goes and punches the Spider Queen in the face, saving Tanis. The Spider Queen cleaned the wound on her cheek. Elsa runs towards her to continue hitting her but the Spider Queen with her huge legs, jumps high into the air and lands on Elsa, crushing her. Elsa was badly hurt. Ghost, floating in the air throws ice spikes at the Spider Queen to get her attention. She jumps towards Ghost but he becomes intangible and passes through her. Ghost prepares to hit him with his strongest attack.
-GHOSTLY BREATH!.- Ghost screamed.
Ghost took a breath and blew a breeze so cold that it froze the spider queen.
-I did it.- Ghost said.
Or so Ghost thought. The spider queen destroys the ice wall where she was trapped. Then she lets out a scream so loud that it stuns Ghost, causing him to fall to the ground.
The Grimwood girls were injured. Sibella was carrying Elsa on her shoulder, Ghost was disoriented and Tanis and Winnie didn't know what to do.
-She's very strong.- Tanis said.
-There's no doubt that she's the enemy boss.- Winnie said.
-At this rate she's going to finish us off. We have to think of something.- Sibella said.
The girls didn't know what to do in the face of such a formidable enemy. Amelia kept watching from behind the tree.

The spider queen started to approach the girls. They didn't know what they were going to do.

She used her undead magic to lock the spider queen in a bone prison. That stopped her.

It didn't stop her for long. The spider queen breaks the bone prison that Amelia put there and then looks at her.
-Brat!.- Said Tirannica.
-Run Amelia!.- Screamed Tanis.
Amelia wanted to escape but the spider queen throws a web lasso at her, trapping her. She pulls her towards her and holds her in her arm.
-No!.- Screamed Tanis.
-Take your hands off of her!.- Screamed Ghost.
The Grimwood girls went to save Amelia but the spider queen with only one of her legs throws them aside. They were lying on the ground and could not stand up.
At that moment Marcus and Alador arrive. Partidos had guided them there. He barked at the spider queen.
-Alador, look!.- Marcus said.
Marcus pointed in the direction of the spider monster.
-That's not it?...- Marcus did not finish the sentence.
-The spider queen!.- Alador finished Marcus' sentence.
They recognized her from their encounter with her in the ruins more than a year ago.
-What are you doing here?.- Marcus asked.
Alador looked horrified at the one who had the spider queen on his arm.
-Amelia!.- Alador shouted.
Amelia heard her father's voice and looked at him.
-Dad!.- Amelia shouted.

Alador continued to throw the beam of energy at the spider queen. Until he ran out of magic and stopped. He was exhausted. The Grimwood girls looked at him in amazement.
-Incredible.- Winnie said.
-Amelia's dad is amazing.- Tanis said.
Although Alador's attack was powerful, it was not enough to defeat the spider queen. She had wounds and smoke coming out of her body from Alador's attack. That made her furious.
-That hurt me!.- Tirannica said.
The spider queen ran towards Alador.
-Papa!.- Amelia shouted.
-Get out of there!.- Marcus shouted.
Alador was too exhausted to escape. The spider queen wrapped him in her web, grabbed him and looked at him closely.
-I remember you now. You are the lich who sealed the door to the underworld.- Tirannica said.
Marcus and Amelia watched as Tirannica had Alador.
-Papa!.- Amelia shouted.
-Let him go!.- Marcus shouted.
Alador did not have the strength to free himself from the spider queen's clutches. The girls wanted to help him but they still did not have the strength to get up.
-I have an idea. Instead of devouring you, I'm going to make you remove the seal you put on the door.- Said Tirannica.
The spider queen planned to use Alador to reopen the doors of the underworld.
-I planned to regain my strength by devouring the Grimwood girls and then open the door myself but I realized that they are so weak that they won't help me regain my strength. So, you will open the door to the underworld for me.- Said Tirannica.
-And if I refuse?.- Asked Alador.
Alador knew what could happen if he opened the door. Chaos would break out in the world. He preferred to be devoured than to help her.
The spider queen looks back at Amelia.

Marcus, put Amelia behind him to protect her.

Marcus and Amelia ran to save Alador but the spider queen leaves, taking a huge leap. She swings between the trees with her web out of reach of Marcus and the others. She had left with Alador.
-Dad.- Amelia said.
Amelia falls to her knees in shock.
-Alador.- Marcus said.
Marcus clenches his fist, frustrated. The girls were also frustrated for not being able to defeat Tirannica. Winnie punches the ground.
In Grimwood, everyone was there without saying anything. Marcus had treated his students with healing magic, their wounds were already healed. They had told Miss Grimwood what had happened. They were worried about Alador. Amelia couldn't stop crying on the couch. Marcus approached her to comfort her.
-Everything will be okay. We will rescue your father.- Marcus said.
-You don't know that! My dad could die and the last thing I told him was that I hated him.- Amelia said.
Marcus didn't know what to tell her. He didn't know if they could rescue Alador. The spider queen was so strong that she defeated her 5 students by herself. He was the strongest rival of the Grimwood Ghoul Squad.

The girls were silent thinking about what happened. Winnie couldn't stand the situation anymore.
-Staying here and lamenting won't solve anything! We have to go rescue Mr. Alador.- Winnie said.

Tanis approached Amelia.

-Don't worry. We will rescue him.- Marcus said.

Marcus and the girls went out to the ruins to rescue Alador, and to stop the spider queen but they had forgotten something important. Amelia had realized.

The group walked through Alador Castle. That place brought back memories.

They continued walking. As they did, they passed by the painting where Amelia's mother was. Ghost stopped when he saw the face of that woman.
-It's her! It's the woman I saw passing by a while ago.- Ghost said.
-What are you talking about, Ghost?.- Sibella asked.
-I saw this woman in the hallway a while ago.- Ghost answered.
-That woman is my mother and it is not possible that you have seen her. She passed away.- Amelia said.
-I'm sure I saw her.- Ghost said.
-Amelia. You said that you heard your mother's voice, right?.- Winnie asked.

-See? We have to go to the library.- Marcus said.
-We don't have time for that. What about my father?.- Amelia asked.
-If your mother is a spirit, then you could get powers like us and then you can rescue your dad.- Tanis said.
Amelia didn't know what to say. She wanted to get powers like them but this whole thing was a lot to process.
-I don't know. All of this is...- Amelia couldn't finish her sentence.
-Cheer up. Let's go meet your mom.- Elsa said.
The girls and Marcus took Amelia to the library.
Already in front of the entrance of the library, Amelia had her doubts.
-But what if it's not my mom? What if it is her and I don't know what to say to her? I've never been able to meet her. I'm nervous.- Amelia said.

Amelia entered the library. The rest waited outside. Amelia walked around the library, looking for her mother.
-Hello. Is anyone here?.- Amelia asked.
She looked around the place but there was no one.
-I guess you weren't here.- Amelia said.
Amelia was about to leave but suddenly a woman appeared floating in the air. She was an undead. She was wearing a dark blue robe. Her skin was light blue, her hair was long white and her eyes were green. She looked a lot like Amelia.
-Mama is that you?.- Amelia asked.
The woman saw Amelia and approached her.
-Amelia, daughter. Look how big you've gotten.- Aurelia said.
The woman was Amelia's mother. When she saw her, Amelia's eyes lit up. She had finally met her mother. Although the moment was very nice, we must not forget that the spider queen had Alador and they had to rescue him before the doors of the underworld open again.
