A/N- Crumbelina's Sweet Admirer: Considering Monday's party was done in DC Super Hero Girls Season 4, this is about Tuesday's party. But do check out the DC Super Hero Girls Season 4 story!
Shane was getting ready for school the next day. Today was Influencer Day and he was dressing like Mariano Di Vaio, his favorite Instagram influencer.
"Happy birthday, Shane." He says to his reflection as he combs his curls and pulls on his suit jacket. He then brushes his teeth and goes down to breakfast.
"Happy birthday, Shane!" Everyone says.
Shane smiled. Breakfast was an out-of-this-world omelet station. He helped himself, making a bacon and cheese omelet before sitting down and eating.
Hal was dressed like Patrick Mahomes and Garrett was LeBron James. Barry rushed downstairs, dressed like David Beckham.
Oliver Queen made a very convincing Lin-Manuel Miranda as he was Oliver Queen's favorite actor and influencer. Luke was dressed like Travis Kelce. Carter and Garth didn't want to dress up and their friends respected that.
"So, should we coordinate outfits for the game this weekend?" Luke asked, grabbing another biscuit.
"Totally!" Shane says. "The cheerleading squad actually gets to wear neon, too!"
"I already have my outfit made for Saturday. I know we're celebrating my anniversary then, but I do want to cheer Hal, Garrett, and the team on. This is a big deal, after all." Oliver Queen says.
Ashley laid in her bed. 5-Volt was coming in a few hours since she knew 9-Volt and 18-Volt were at school. 7-Volt was working at the fire station.
Mona came by before heading to school herself. "How are you feeling?" She asked.
"Sick." Ashley says.
"Me and Mugsy will come by after school. I promise." Mona says. Ashley nods.
At Oakley Academy, the boys made an entrance in their costumes. Girls squealed when they saw the boys.
"I think they love us!" Shane says.
Penny came in and sighed. "Thank God the Super Hero Girls are back in Metropolis."
"Don't you even know what's happened there lately?!" Hal asked.
"Superman's dead and Lex Luthor is planning to take over Metropolis and ban you guys from there." Penny says.
"We don't want to be there, anyway." Hal says. "We left our old lives behind when we moved here. And Barry can't do much hero stuff as of now, anyway."
"We don't plan to head back over there." Garth says.
Soon, class starts as there were gifts at Shane's desk.
"Ah, for me? You're all too kind!" Shane says.
At lunch, girls were admiring Hal's Patrick Mahomes outfit and Barry's David Beckham outfit. More girls screamed when they saw Oliver Queen as Lin-Manuel Miranda.
Shane smiled for pictures, flashing his best smile. He then sat with the guys, smiling.
"What a great day so far!" Shane says.
"Who do you think will win Best Male Influencer Look-Alike?" Garth asked, eating his tuna salad and Ritz crackers.
The boys think about this.
"I'm thinking it'll either be Barry or Hal." Shane says.
"Or Garrett." Luke says.
"Where's Atticus?" Barry sniffed.
"He goes to school in a different city." Luke says.
Just then, the principal stepped in with the Best Influencer Look-Alike awards. Everyone turned their attention to the cafeteria stage.
"May I have your attention, please?" Principal Pearson says.
Everyone looks up.
"It's time to announce the winners of our Best Influencer Look-Alike awards!" She says. "And we'll start with the best female influencer look-alike."
"And that award goes to Rachel Fox for her amazing Rosanna Pansino costume!" The assistant principal says. The students cheer as Rachel gets her award.
"And now we're presenting the award for Best Male Influencer Look-Alike." Principal Pearson says.
"There were so many of these, but one stood out among everyone else and really made quite the impact on us all on this Influencer Day." The assistant principal says.
"So the award for Best Male Influencer Look-Alike is being presented to none other than Barry Allen, a true David Beckham!" Principal Pearson says.
"Yeah, Barry!" Hal says.
"Way to go!" Oliver Queen says.
"You're awesome!" Garth says as Carter claps for Barry.
"You deserve it!" Shane and Luke say.
Barry goes to take the award, smiling as he accepts it.
After school, the boys are all taking pictures in their influencer outfits with Shane's new camera. Diana was proud of Shane.
"Come on, Barry! Bend it like Beckham!" Shane said, holding his camera. Barry smiled and did so as Shane took his picture.
Luke and Hal struck poses as their respective players and smiled for Shane's camera.
"The camera loves you, Ollie-boy!" Shane says. Oliver Queen poses for the camera as Shane takes pictures of him. Zee is rolling her eyes as she watches.
She then leaves. Diana stayed, smiling at Shane.
Later, Shane comes home from school and works on the pictures. He puts the best ones in the Basketball Championship Spirit Week photo album he's making, then the group picture in his 18th Birthweek Memories photo album.
Lucy came home rushing by everyone, climbing to the vents. Charity wondered what happened.
"She said she wants to be alone." Lincoln says
Shane sighed as he overheard everyone saying they were going to be going somewhere else tonight. It was fine by him. He goes back to working on his pictures.
Charity wouldn't have it. She looked up at the vents, deciding to leave Lucy alone.
"Guys, we gotta get ready." Leni says. "Finish your homework before the party."
Atticus was setting up the party at the Cosmic Skate-a-Torium.
Later, Shane went off to train by himself. Shane was punching and kicking training dummies in his training room. He screamed as he released angry music notes onto the dummies.
Charity looks at everyone. "You all have to be there, no exceptions." She says.
"I heard them loud and clear, Aunt Charity. They don't want to be there for me!" Shane cried from his training room.
"Oh, is that so?" Charity told the siblings.
"But we-" Luan began to say.
"You what?" Charity asked.
"We had something better in mind for Shane's celebration…" Luan says.
"Such as?" Charity asked curiously.
"Well, it could still be a roller-skating rink party, but what if it had a music theme? To make up for last night." Luan suggested. "Not a battle of the bands type of party, but just a music-themed party in general."
"Not a bad idea…" Charity says. "It's perfect!"
They go to set up.
Shane was looking at the party footage from last night and fuming. Other than having to console Barry and an epic band battle, everything else was a disaster.
He sobbed for 2 hours, then got ready for his party in silence. He soon arrived at the Cosmic Skate-a-Torium as confetti fell on him.
"Happy birthday, Shane!" Everyone says. Shane smiled, seeing the people he loved the most.
As the party went on, Lucy was in the vents, struggling to finish her homework. She was struggling in school. She had no one to talk to and her family didn't seem to care. She wanted it to stay that way.
Lisa got Shane rocket-powered skates as Shane tried them. He soon became dizzy from going around the rink at fast speeds.
Luna stops him after 4 minutes of this.
"Why is the room spinning?" Shane asked, dazed.
"You're just dizzy." Luna says, sitting with Shane on a bench.
Kat and Ana were eating while that happened.
After a bit, Shane was better enough to do his opening dance with his friends.
"Okay, gentlemen, let's get ready to wow my birthday guests and my family, shall we?" Shane tells the boys.
Soon, the boys and Shane were on a stage in the center of the skating rink, singing and dancing to Walk This Way by Aerosmith as the guests were dancing and singing along.
Once they finished to wild cheering from the guests, Shane sat by his presents and began to open a few of them. He received lots of nice things, but the best gift came from his teammates.
It was a train set with toy versions of them in it.
"You guys!" Shane says. "I love it!"
"It's truly one of a kind!" Hal says. "And it's all yours!"
Shane smiled at this.
"Now who's ready to skate?!" Luke says.
The guys cheered as they got onto the rink. Shane sighed and looked at his train set for a while. He then took off his skates, put on his shoes, and took a walk around the perimeter outside the Cosmic Skate-a-Torium.
Kat and Ana twirled as they skated. Luna and Sam skate together.
Penny came to see Ashley.
"Hi, Ashley!" Penny says.
"Hi." Ashley says. "What brings you here?"
"We came with burgers. You love burgers." Red says as Ashley smiles, despite having leukemia.
Shane was outside the skating rink, shedding tears.
"You okay, Shane?" Diana asked him.
"I'm fine." Shane says.
"I know your party isn't like you imagined it. Aside from the gift you got from your teammates, have you actually been having fun?" Diana asked him. "You can be honest with me."
"Kind of. I just know people aren't doing what I want at this party…" Shane says.
"They haven't even started the skating rink games and dances yet, Shaney…" Diana says.
"Skating rink games? Oooh!" Shane says. "I wanna play!"
Shane was soon brought back inside and he put his skates back on. He then goes back to the rink just in time for the roller skate limbo.
"How low can you go, Hal?" Shane asked, excited about this first game.
Hal goes low as Luke was impressed with how low he went on his skates. The others took their turns, but the overall winner of this limbo game was Oliver Queen and his superior flexibility.
During Shoot The Duck, Hal split his pants as Carol giggled. 4 Corners went well as Shane won alongside Luke.
Then it was time for the roller-skating dance off. Shane was excited to be a guest judge for this. He watched one person after another. He then saw 9-Volt and 18-Volt doing their dance.
"Go! Go! Go!" The guests chanted.
Ashley cries, seeing this on TV as she was sad about missing out on the fun.
"Shane's birthday party looks like fun…" Penny sighed.
"Go on." Ashley tells Penny. "Mona said she'd come, so I've been waiting on her."
"I'm here now." Mona says. "Mugsy is at the party with his siblings, so I'm able to keep you company."
Mona then sits next to Ashley as Penny heads off to the party.
At the party, the conga line was about to begin. Penny arrived to see Shane at the head of it.
"Join the line!" Shane says.
Penny smiled and did so as the skating rink DJ played C'mon & Ride It (The Train) by the Quad City DJ's.
"All aboard the Shane Loud Express, ya'll! Choo-choo!" Barry grinned as he held on to Barbara.
Shane laughed and led the conga line.
After that, the pizza was served. Shane got first serving and the others started to help themselves.
"Garth is eating seafood pizza!" Hal says. Garth says nothing as he eats his pizza.
Atticus sighed and ate his pizza.
Lana eats hers as Lisa works on science.
Shane eats with Luke and Luna.
Much later, Stephen entered with Shane's music cake as he was setting the cake table up. Stephen then saw Shane out of the corner of his eye, sipping a Coke-flavored ICEE by himself.
Diana goes to him.
"Diana, I'm…I just…" Shane stammered.
"Overwhelmed?" She asked. Shane nodded. This party was a lot for him to take in. Diana holds Shane for a while.
Soon, it was time for the cake. Shane sat at the table, sitting before it. The skating rink lights were dimmed as Shane stared at his birthday cake.
The cake itself was themed around Shane's immense love for music as it boasted chocolate music notes and pictures of Shane singing in the icing. It read Happy 18th Birthday To The Most Marvelous Musician, Shane Christian Loud! in bold purple icing.
Luke lit the candles on Shane's cake as the room filled with lights and people.
"Wow!" Shane says. The room then filled with joyous singing as Shane smiled a little.
"Make a wish, Shane!" His friends shouted. Shane loses himself in thought for a moment.
He wishes for his family to stop trying to ditch him. He tears up as he blows out the candles in one huge breath.
Everyone cheers as Stephen soon serves the cake.
Diana walks Shane outside after getting the first two slices for herself and Shane.
"It pains me to see you in such emotional distress." Diana says, feeding Shane his cake. Shane sniffed.
"The favoritism with my siblings…it happened again." Shane sniffed.
"I know." Diana says, holding Shane close.
Lucy goes home alone.
Charity would make it a priority to have a discussion with Lance and Sharon tomorrow once the kids were off to school.
