It was December 10th and people were busy doing Christmas shopping. Lucy was thinking of a good gift for every member of her family. Especially Luke.
Luke wasn't with the family as today was the day his friend would be coming. He couldn't wait for the guys to meet Jacob.
"How famous is he?" Garth asked.
"Pageant champion famous. But he's humble about his awards and would love to show one of his routines to you all." Luke says. "His flight is coming in later today, so I'm making sure the manor looks presentable. He won't settle for less."
"I'm excited to meet him myself." Hal says.
"He can't wait to meet you guys." Luke says, smiling.
Later that day, he came and Lola dropped her glass as her heart beats.
The screen shows Lola and Jacob on a yacht with people tossing flowers.
"More juice, Lola?" Jacob asked.
"Why, yes, my darling." Lola says.
They were soon seen on a stage twirling together.
"Darling, where have you been all my life?" Lola asked.
"I've been everywhere." he says.
"What a man…" Lola says.
Luke smiles. "Jacob! You made it! How was your trip here?" Luke says, taking Jacob's Gucci coat and Burberry scarf.
"When you fly in a private jet like mine, the trips are as smooth as the silk on my silk pajamas." Jacob says. "But the trip here was good. I can't complain too much."
"Great to hear! I see you met my sister Lola already." Luke smiled.
"Such a charming young lady. The Albright charm really does have an effect on people." Jacob smiled back.
"Ba, ba, ba…" Lola muttered.
Atticus came up.
"Atticus, this is Jacob Albright, my friend from Bethesda, Maryland. He recently moved to New York to be closer to his dad. And he's here to celebrate my 19th birthday during my celebration week. And he's staying for Christmas." Luke says as he smiled.
"That's nice." Atticus says.
"Charmed to meet you, Atticus." Jacob says as he shakes his hand gently.
The Louds came in. Charity smiled as she walked up to Jacob.
"So good to see you, sweetheart! It's always a pleasure to have the son of Clayton Albright here to grace us!" Charity says. "I'll get the chefs to start dinner preparations early." And with that, she dashes off, leaving the Louds to take in the view of Jacob.
"Move aside." Hal says to the Louds.
"Now, now, I would love to meet all of you equally." Jacob says.
Clover waves shyly. Jacob smiled warmly.
Meanwhile, Lynn was shooting hoops, preparing for a competition today.
"Just one more…" Lynn says and shoots one in. "Man, I'm good." Lynn says.
Meanwhile
"So, Jacob, I'm Lola Loud." Lola says, leading him to her room. "Allow me to showcase all my pageant awards."
"Nice. Just wait until you see my pageant award collection. In pictures, but they're dazzling, I assure you." Jacob says.
Lori and Leni spy on them.
"They're so cute together." Lori says
"I know! Also, what do you think of this winter jacket?" Leni asked.
"Happy Birthday, Miguel?" Lori asked.
"Wrong one." Leni says and takes another jacket out.
"Merry Christmas, Bobby?" Lori reads.
"Oops…" Leni said and took out a sweater with some snowballs that said Happy Birthday, Luke!
"Why are the seven snow balls multicolored?" Lori asked
"For each day." Leni says.
"Luke will literally adore it!" Lori says.
Lynn passed the ball to Margo, who scored.
"Whoo!" Lynn cheered.
Meanwhile, Lisa was working on Todd, when suddenly, Todd went haywire and shot sparks.
"Todd, come back!" Lisa says and chases him.
He was about to hit Jacob, but Lola saves Jacob taking Todd down.
"And stay down!" Lola says.
"Um, thanks, sister unit." Lisa says.
Later, Lola made Jacob a sandwich.
"Hopefully, this will help your stomach till dinner." Lola says as Jacob smiled and ate it.
"This is not bad." he says. Later, they were in the basement.
"Okay, let me show you my style." Lola says and did a twirl with books on her head, then did a split.
"Your turn!" Lola says. Jacob did a triple backflip, then showed off.
"WOW!" Lola says, but Hal and Garth pull him away.
Meanwhile, Lincoln was with Clyde and Kara.
"Thanks for helping me set up this trap system so my brother can't ruin my presents." Kara says.
"No problem." Clyde says.
"Hey, guys, there's a winter ball tonight." Rusty says.
"Yeah, that's going to be fun, especially the eggnog fountain…" Stella says.
"Isn't that for the teachers?" Kara asked.
"I got a plan." Lincoln says.
Meanwhile, Lynn won her game with her team. "Lynner, Lynner, chicken dinner!" Lynn cheered.
Jacob was in the shower after Garth soaked him with the "fishy" water from his aquarium. Garth had apologized at least 12 times after it happened, but Jacob somehow forgave him. Garth looked ashamed of himself.
"Dude, do you know how hard it is to get the fish smell out of a Ralph Lauren sweater?!" Barry says, in the laundry room, washing Jacob's aquarium-scented clothes.
"Sorry, Jacob." Garth says. Jacob had reappeared in a spare outfit he brought with him. All designer labels, obviously.
"Dinner is in 40 minutes." Lola says, peeping in and winking at Jacob before leaving. Jacob just smiled.
Meanwhile, Lucy was getting ready, waiting for Rocky to pick her up. She thinks and exposes her eyes. He soon came as Leni squealed.
The ball was fun and lively and a guy was hogging the chips. Lincoln and Clyde set up a video of Luke's performances. Kara snuck and tasted some eggnog when no one was looking.
Luke sat with Jacob as the chefs were serving dinner, which was pasta primavera and garlic breadsticks. And of course there was some salad, too.
"Your home is lovely, Miss Huntington." Jacob says, taking polite bites of his dinner.
"Well, thank you, Jacob. Tell me, how is your father?" Charity asked.
"He's great, thanks for asking. You should see his department store in New York. It's huge." Jacob says.
"Wait…your dad owns Albright's Department Store?!" Hal asked, jaw dropped.
"Owner and CEO." Jacob points out. "He owns two more stores. One in Bethesda and another one in Baltimore. His New York store is the first non-Maryland location he's opened."
"Amazing!" Luke says, smiling. Barry thinks as he eats his dinner.
"Nice!" Lola says.
"Luke, I've been planning your Times Square birthday celebration. It's going to make New Year's Rockin' Eve look like a backyard barbecue." Jacob grinned. "Daddy even convinced Ryan Seacrest to host your birthday party live on national TV!"
"Shut. Up! That's awesome!" Luke says.
"And your birthday cake? It's going to be as tall as the Empire State Building!" Jacob says.
"Ooooh!" Luke says. Barry and Hal drooled at the sound of that cake.
"Luke always seems to get the best birthdays." Shane says.
"Oh, darling, you're getting that, too." Jacob smiles at Shane.
Soon, dinner ended as the boys were tired.
"Let me get Jacob everything he needs for his bath." Lola says.
"Do you know what he needs for his bath?" Luke asked.
"I was trying to be nice." Lola says and leaves.
Later, the boys get ready for bed.
"Honestly, he's not going to fall for you." Lana says.
"Why can't you support me?" Lola asked as Lucy came up.
"What's going on?" Lucy asked.
"Lola fell in love with Luke's friend, Jacob." Lana says.
"Sigh…Lola…Just at least tell him your feelings." Lucy says.
"Thanks, Lucy." Lola says.
