Melony came into Garrett's hospital room. "Happy 18th birthday, Garrett. I hope you wake up." Melony says.
Meanwhile, the Chens were setting up a party to celebrate the win. Ollie was grinning. His parents knew he won for all the right reasons, because of his community service and his kindness toward others.
Ollie accepted the offer for a victory celebration, but wanted to be modest about this victory at the same time.
Garrett was waking up in his hospital room.
"Garrett?" Leni asked.
"Leni…" Garrett looked at her.
"How are you doing?" Leni asked him.
"Sick." He coughed.
"Shane changed his ways last night. The movie got canceled. Which may upset Luke, but Shane couldn't go through with it anymore." Leni says. "Shane started a fundraiser for your medical bills. And Luke isn't getting a cent of it. Mom even considered canceling Luke's 18th birthweek because of this."
"What about Shane's birthweek?" Garrett coughed.
"He's getting it." Leni says.
Meanwhile
"You wanna help out?" Savannah asked.
"Yeah, Garrett's my best friend." Melony says. "I heard about what Shane started, and I think it's nice of him to do this. He realized what he did and is taking responsibility. His fundraising campaign is firing on all cylinders now, and I like it."
"Didn't you say you were going to do the campaign?" Savannah asked.
"I'm blind. I can't." Melony says. "After hearing Shane change his ways, I'm supporting his campaign."
"Good luck. I wish I could help, but Randy's sick and Brandy needs me for support." Savannah says
"Is malaria that bad?" Melony asked.
"Kinda." Savannah says.
Garrett's friends came back to him and started to shun Luke because of the treatment he got.
Luke looked ashamed.
Melony was thinking. "Maybe I can help Garrett by winning ANH." Melony says.
Luan made Garrett a special birthday breakfast.
Garrett smiled and began to eat. He got his appetite back yesterday evening at dinner.
He then saw Shane on TV, talking about his campaign for him.
"Garrett's Guardians is a charity that helps fund treatments for people that are victims of abuse or have been abused. As you are no doubt aware, I was once involved in the mistreatment of Garrett, and back when all of it started, I thought it was fun. But once I saw how much Garrett had suffered, it wasn't fun anymore. I changed my ways and started making a few changes to myself and the way I think of people. People are not objects or playthings. They're human beings, like you and me. Be kind to your loved ones and show Garrett that he's loved." Shane says.
Garrett smiled at this.
Angry Luigi was watching this in the hospital Emma looked worried for her brother
"I'll win ANH for you guys." Savannah says. "You don't have that much money."
"We don't need money, we need hope." Angry Luigi sighed
"I need to enter next season…" Alem tuber says, coughing.
"Great, the hospital bills are expensive. I'll have to call Bob…" Skylia sighed.
"Don't worry. I'll start a campaign for you guys." Savannah says
"You're not Shane or Luke. That will never work." Angry Luigi says, being negative as usual.
"When you get better, we're going to enter ANH and we'll win" Alex says.
Meanwhile Lucy reads Garrett a poem. Garrett smiles at this.
The others were decorating for a party for Ollie. Ollie tried to tell them he didn't want a huge deal made out of this victory, but no one would listen to him. He storms off, frustrated as he goes to spend the day with Molly and Libby.
June and Lisa were alone, hanging out, but saw this.
Colleen came and saw Brandy and Randy in the hospital. Brandy hid under the bed, shaking as Emma rolled her eyes as Skara was on her scroll.
"If you're here to force him to date you, you'll be going back to that Amish boarding school." Miranda says sternly.
"I'm not." She says. "I want to fix things with Luke and the others."
"Things have been crazy around here. Garrett is in somewhat bad shape." Savannah tells her before explaining the whole thing to Colleen.
"Yeah, and I can't stop weapon XI…" Alem tuber coughed.
"Oh, I remember that. I wonder what happened to that failed experiment." Colleen says
"I only care about Randy getting better right now." Angry Luigi says sadly.
"Brandy, Garrett needs our support." Colleen says.
"Are you forcing him to do things?" Miranda says sternly.
"No, Mom." She says before walking out.
"Come on, kids, let's go." Skylia tells her kids except Randy. Skara teleported away as she had a Bard coven meeting to get to.
Later, Savannah was preparing for ANH tomorrow. She spots Melony practicing.
"I'm not talking to you." Melony says, not wanting to be friends with the cosmic buddies anymore.
Jerbo had an Abomination coven meeting he couldn't miss and Viney was dealing with an emergency meeting in the Healing coven, so neither of them were around at the moment.
"Why can't we just talk about this?" Savannah asked Melony.
"I needed you guys to help me save Garrett and you refused. And Jason just wanted free labor out of him." Melony says.
"That was his siblings." Savannah says.
"Still doesn't change anything and the Foxes were planning something cruel. I have nothing to say to you, any of those Cosmic Buddies, or the Foxes for that matter. I'm not going to support that campaign you have for Randy, either, so don't ask." Melony says.
"Melony, we're sorry!" Savannah says.
"If you were so sorry, why did you just stand by and let Garrett get hurt like that?!" Melony asked as her eyes welled up with tears.
"We didn't want to get in Luke's path! He didn't want anyone to stop it. He even had some magic stuff." Savannah said.
"He got grounded after he got caught. He even lost the title of Mr. Teen Sunbeam because of it. Serves him right…" Melony says. "Maybe all this will teach him a lesson in humility."
"I'm sorry that you got arrested." Savannah said.
"They tried to lock me up like a lab rat! My whole life, I've been locked up!" Melony cried. "And as for precious little Luke Mollycoddle, he'll learn the hard way about what it feels like to have no friends."
Savannah laughed a bit, not sure where that nickname came from.
"Go now. I need to win for Garrett. I need to think." Melony says.
Savannah knew Melony needed space right now. Savannah decided to watch Viney work on her campaign for Healing coven leader. The previous leader retired, and they were looking for a new one.
Meanwhile, Luke was still crying after losing his friends and family because he just wanted Garrett to keep being an animal. His friends hated that a lot.
"He's suffering like we did." Ana says as Kat feels bad.
"ANH is going to have a Garrett's Guardians edition." Luan says.
Soon, Melony came to his room.
"Hey, Garrett, listen, you're a really nice person and I'm glad I got to meet you." Melony said, blushing. Garrett smiled at her.
"I like like you…" Melony says, blushing.
Luke was getting told off by his ex-friends.
"How could you?!" Colleen asked.
"That was cruel!" Stephen says.
"Luke's sorry." Mike and Josh say, defending Luke.
"If he's so sorry, then why was he getting so much pleasure out of it?" Lonnie asked.
"Garrett did ruin Luke's image with that movie." Mike says.
"That movie is old news now." Lonnie says.
"I feel horrible enough! My family isn't speaking to me, Shane is ignoring me now, and now I'm losing you all!" Luke sobbed.
"You got us at least." Mike says. Luke sniffed.
Meanwhile, Leni got a piñata for Garrett, who broke it open with Luan's help. Little basketballs, basketball-themed favors, and mini chocolate bars fell out of it. Garrett smiled at this.
"Thanks guys " Garrett says
"When you get home, we'll go so much bigger!" Forest says.
Garrett felt very sad after a while. He knew he wasn't getting the 18th birthday celebration he deserved.
"Look, we'll give you a grand 18th birthday party." Leni says.
"Luke robbed you of the birthday celebration you planned." Luan says.
With Oliver, he had alienated himself from his siblings since the 16th. It didn't matter about the Garrett thing with him anymore. His siblings had changed their tune once Luke was exposed and they were happy when Shane started Garrett's Guardians, and The Foxes are now fully supporting the cause.
Oliver had shut himself away from his siblings. That's when Gabriel grew concerned.
"Son, what's wrong?" Gabriel asked.
"Oh, I don't know…you guys completely overlooked the one day a year that's about me!" Oliver screamed. "Does June 16th ring a bell?!"
Gabriel looked ashamed. He failed as a father.
The next chapter is yet again a party chapter. Hopefully the last one for a while so you guys don't think we're lazy.
