Chapter One: The Beginning

Alexis is dropped by a white lioness in front of a large male white lion.

"Well what do we have here?" The male lion asks as he goes toward Alexis causing her to glare at him.

"I found this one Kiros. She is a stray." The lioness says.

"Mmm. A stray. Tell me small one. Where is your pride?" Kiros asks.

"That's none of your business." Alexis growls.

"Ill-mannered one aren't you? Kill it." Kiros says as lionesses circle Alexis.

"Wait Kiros. This one is not a mere lion." The lioness says.

"What do you mean Akua?" Kiros asks curiously as he eyes Alexis.

"This young stray cub can turn into a wolf. I saw it with my own eyes." Akua says as she nudges Alexis with her paw.

"Is that true young one?" Kiros asks as he looks at Alexis before she shifts to wolf form and tries to bite at him as he gets close.

"See? I told you." Akua says as Kiros chuckles at Alexis's feisty nature.

"Feisty little thing. She could prove useful. Well then forget your old pride small one. You now belong to my pride and will be my daughter. Shaju come here." Kiros says as a small male white lion cub runs up.

"Yeah dad?" Shaju asks as he looks at Kiros.

"Meet your new sister. What is your name cub?" Kiros asks as Alexis glares at him.

"A-Alexis." Alexis says cautiously as she shifts to to lioness form.

"Well then princess Alexis meet your new brother prince Shaju." Kiros says.

"Come on Alexis. I'll show you around then we can go play." Shaju says excitedly.

"Go on little one. You won't be harmed here. Now anyway." Akua says as she nudges Alexis forward.

"You're gonna love it here Alexis. I've always wanted a sibling!" Shaju says as Alexis reluctantly follows him.

*One Year Later*

As Alexis is getting back from her hunt she sees Inaki being circled by the lionesses and attacked before suddenly noticing Shaju isn't with them.

"Dad? Where's Shaju? Where's my brother? And why are the lionesses attacking Inaki? Where is Shaju?" Alexis asks worriedly as she looks around for Shaju getting more worried by the minute.

"That traitor left your brother to be killed by the son of the King of the pride in this area and ran to save himself. So the lionesses are making sure he won't do it again." Kiros says as Akua and the other lionesses kill Inaki.

"What? No... No... Shaju... No... He can't be dead..." Alexis says in shock and sadness.

"He is my dear. Now you are my sole heir." Kiros says as he goes toward Alexis.

"I can't believe my brother is gone... Those lions will pay for what they've done." Alexis says as she growls.

"Yes they will dear. They will pay dearly." Kiros says.

"What now dad?" Alexis asks curiously.

"Now Alexis my dear we are going to attack." Kiros says.

"Attack?" Alexis asks.

"Yes Alexis we are going to attack their pride and kill their King. And you my dear can have the pleasure of killing his son to get revenge for Shaju." Kiros says.

"When are we attacking?" Alexis asks.

"We will attack shortly after daybreak. Be ready." Kiros says as Alexis nods.

"I will dad. I'll rally the lionesses. That pride will pay for what they did to Shaju." Alexis says as he goes over to the other lionesses.
