Hey everyone, Reggie here.
You may have noticed this isn't chapter five, and that's mainly because it's still being worked on as of now.
I'm going to start submitting mini-chapters; Episodes that contribute to the story, but are kind of like filler, in a way.
I realized that most of the time I end up getting writers block because I escalate my stories too fast; basically not doing a good job of building a stable plot.
Because of this, I'm going to be installing this new format of making chapters.
Hopefully this doesn't sour your enthusiasm or expectations of future chapters/stories, but I had to give context on this to avoid confusion.
With that being said, enjoy this sub-chapter.
(Also for the timeline's sake, this occurs before the events in Chapter 4.)
I do not own Pokémon; Any OC's created in this story do belong to me, however.
Amari sat on the living room couch, watching his Eevee, Tera, seemingly fighting Ash's Pikachu.
It was weird; they weren't injuring each other, but they still seemed to be wrestling in a way...?
It was safe to assume he was confused, and his stepbrother noticed that pretty easily.
"They're not killing each other, y'know." Ash spoke up, getting Amari's attention.
"I-I know that, but...shouldn't we be worried?" Amari asked, a worried look on his face.
Ash chuckled at Amari's genuine worry.
"Nah, they're just playing; All small Pokémon usually do that." He explained. "It's just how they have fun and even exercise." He continued.
"I see..." Amari said. "Do any of the others do it...?" He asked.
"Heh, besides Mew, not really..." Ash said. "And she usually only does it to annoy them...mainly Mewtwo." He continued.
"Oh..." Amari said, sweat-dropping.
That's all folks!
Once again, will be doing mini-chapters like these to provide some "comedic relief" throughout chapters.
Took me a while to realize how dark and overly-serious my stories can get with my writing, so I'm making these to tone that down.
If any of you are interested in these, feel free to give me some ideas in the form of reviews; I'd be more than happy to make them!
