I own the plot, all credit for the characters go to to Rick Riordan and Shannon Messenger.
So this is my first fanfic, so it could be really bad. Bare with me.
Percy Jackson's POV
My new neighbours were moving in today.
The For Sale sign had been up for a while, because the house was ginormous and so probably quite expensive.
When the sign got a large, yellow, SOLD sticker on it, Annabeth insisted on making them cookies. Of course, they had to be blue. Once the biscuits came out of the oven, I realised the kitchen looked like a war zone. I'd clean it later, I lied to myself.
I grabbed the tray and walked with Annabth to their house. She knocked, and a dark haired girl with bright teal eyes answered.
She was abnormaly pretty.
"Hi. We're your new neighbours. We live just there." I greeted, pointing at my house.
"Sorry. My friend is better at english than me. I will get her." She called into her house in a language I couldn't place.
A moment later, a blonde girl with brown eyes arrived at the door. She too was really pretty. "Hi. I'm Sophie Foster. This is Biana Vacker." Sophie gestured to her friend.
"Sup. Im Percy Jackson, this is my girlfriend, Annabeth Chase. We're your new neighbours." I pointed at my house again.
"And we brought cookies." I lifted my tray.
"Come inside. I'll intruduce you to the others." She opened the door wider and gestured us inside.
The house was as elegant inside as it was outide, with large rooms and high ceiling, and paintings, plants, and mirrors everywhere.
"Keefe! Fitz! Dex! Tam! Linh!" Sophie yelled at the stairs.
Five more teenagers came downstairs, all of which were good looking.
Annabeth would hit me if I said that outloud.
We sat on the couch and introduced ourselves.
When Sophie had been calling her friends, I'd assumed she'd been using the same language Biana had, but no, those were their actual names.
"So your 7 teenagers living in a house without an adult?" Annabeth asked.
I sighed.
"Yes, but only for a year. Then we're going back to-" Sophie caught herself.
"-back home."
"So this is like a holiday?" I asked, breaking the silence after a few moments.
"Yes, like a holiday." Sophie agreed.
We continued in polite conversation for a while before Annabeth got up. "Well, it was nice meeting you. We'll see you around." She said before she left, leaving me with no choice but to follow her.
She seemed suspicious of them.
"Do you think they could be monsters?" I asked her when we got inside.
"Maybe. I mean, how do seven teenagers afford such a large house, and I couldn't recognise the language they spoke, and I know quite a few."
"Valid points, but I think we should trust them before we've got any real proof. They seem nice enough, and they could have killed us right then."
"I guess. But I think we should be cautious."
Something's off with that Sophie Foster girl." Annabeth remarked.
So that's the first chapter!
Hope you liked it!
