It was a bright sunny day in Washington DC and the weather seemed to be reacting to the atmosphere of the event that would be taking place later this weekend. The wedding of Steve Trevor and Diana Prince, better known to the world as Wonder Woman, Queen of Hephaestia, not that the world knew that Diana Prince was the same person as Wonder Woman and she had no intention of changing that, since she liked to being able to live in anonymity, she didn't know how Arthur was able to handle having his identity public, since he was the only Justice Leaguer whose identity was public, since the whole world had seen him become King of Atlantis and it was likely because of that that peace between the land and sea was achieved.

And now they were approaching another thing that had been brought on the invasion of Atlantis. Her wedding to Steve Trevor, the man she loved more than anything and the man who's loss she knew would one day break her heart, since while she was all but immortal, Steve wasn't. But she was going to enjoy however much time she had with Steve while she could.

Anyways, Diana was currently at the hotel where the out of town wedding guests would be staying, which was most of them, since while most of Steve's family lived in DC, her's was scattered all over the world.

"Well, if it isn't the blushing bride to be." Kara Danvers said as she and Lena Luthor walked into the hotel with a grin.

"And there's my maid of honor. Thank you again for doing that Kara." Diana said and Kara smiled.

"It's my pleasure Diana. Has anyone else arrived yet?" Kara asked.

"Bruce and Selina checked in about an hour ago, though they were dismayed when they found out that you were the one who booked the penthouse suite. Or rather Selina was. Bruce seemed to be fine with the luxury suite, which is almost as good as the penthouse that he booked." Diana said.

"I had the advantage of booking here first and it's not like I kicked them out." Kara said.

"And I'm not complaining about getting a penthouse apartment all to ourselves." Lena said.

"When do you think you two will put a ring on your relationship?" Diana asked with a smirk.

"Someday, but we've only been together for a little over a year. I think that's a little too soon to make wedding plans. Besides, after your wedding, we've got two more to plan for, since Oliver's the next one to get married and then Barry. And Bruce and Clark are already married. Those were nice weddings to go to." Kara said, since she'd been a bridesmaid at Clark and Lois's wedding and due to her friendship with Dick, she'd been invited as a guest on his behalf to Bruce and Selina's.

"Leaving you, J'onn and Alex as the only founding members of the Justice League to get hitched as you say here. And you and Alex are the most likely candidates, since you're the only ones who are in relationships. But who's protecting National City with nearly your entire team here?" Diana asked, since Kara, Lena, Alex, Felicity, J'onn, Donna and Karen had all been invited and it wouldn't surprise her if J'onn brought M'gann with him as his plus one.

"Brainy's got it covered and we're using our absence as a kind of audition for a new hero that's emerged in National City." Lena said.

"The Dreamer." Diana said and Kara nodded.

"She's getting her chance to prove if she's ready to join the Superfriends and eventually the Justice League. But I'm more concerned about who's watching Metropolis, since Clark's the only one of us without a support team, even with Conner." Kara said.

"Actually, that's not true anymore." Clark said as he and Lois joined them.

"I'm so glad you guys could make it." Diana said as she hugged her old friend.

"Well, you came to our wedding, despite your past with Clark, so of course we'd come here." Lois said, since Clark and Diana had dated briefly, she wasn't jealous.

"Anyways, you were saying?" Kara asked.

"After working with Conner, I'm seeing the appeal of having a team back me up. I'm sure you've heard about the guy in Metropolis who's been flying around in a metal suit." Clark said.

"Using tech that I'm pretty sure came from my company yeah. But I can't figure out who this guy is or how he got my tech, but since he's using it to help people, I'm willing to look the other way." Kara said.

"I can answer that question. His name is John Henry Irons. He's a robotics expert who works for you." Clark said.

"We can discuss that after the wedding. This weekend is about Diana. Once we get settled into our rooms, we'll meet you at the salon." Kara said.

"Looking forward to it." Diana said and Kara smiled as they headed for the elevator.
