The fight was fierce and intense.
Anzai and the devil woman clashed as thier bodies moved at lighting speed, exchanging blows with the sounds of growls and snarls as they fought.
Each one trying to gain the upper hand, Anzai was putting up a good fight but the devil woman was proving to be a formidable opponent.
Bleeding from the wounds, but refusing to give up. He could feel Aina's eyes watching him with fear and worry. It only fueled his determination to win, to protect her at all costs.
"Give up ?" The devil woman taunts him. Anzai spit a mouthful of blood, his eyes blazing with defiance. "Never." he growled "I won't give up till I beat you." He charged forward at her.
Dodging his attacks with lighting-fast reflexes, using his devil speed to his advantage. He managed to land a few hits on her, his claws slicing her skin drawing blood. But she's still standing and fighting back with ferocity that matched his own.
Anzai took a moment to catch his breath, his chest heaving with exertion. He couldn't afford to rest as the devil woman was still standing as she look where he struck her.
A small smile shown on her face, impressed by his fighting skills. But Anzai wasn't going to let his guard down, still seeing her as a threat. "What's wrong ?" He said with a hint of arrogance in his voice. "Is that all you've got ?"
The devil woman smirked at his determination as it proves her enough. "Nah...You won fair and square, I only wanted to test you." Anzai's eyes narrowed in suspicion by her words.
Still not being able to trusts her, He kept his stance. "Test me ?" He repeated, his voice skeptical. "What do you mean ?" He interrogated.
The devil woman sighs softly "You prove me alot more seeing how capable you can do protect the people you care about." She then looks back at Aina. "You oughta keep the girl safe...got it ?" Anzai's gaze softened as his expression turns protective and possessive.
"I will." He said firmly "I'll do whatever it takes to keep her safe." The devil woman reverting back to her normal form. "And by the way, I haven't introduce myself. The name's Amaris, I'm also a half-breed devil like you."
Anzai's eyes widened slightly in surprise, never expecting someone as her to be a half-devil as well. "Amaris, huh?" He said slightly less hostile. "Nice to meet you, I guess."
Amaris pulls her hood over her head, turning back at Anzai and Aina. "Well, A little warning, That devil who kidnapped your human girl. He's still on the run, So keep that in mind. "She then leaves as Anzai's expression darkened, clenching his fists with anger.
Aina went to his side, looking at him in concern as she touches his arm. "Are you okay ?" Anzai's eyes blinked, turning to look at her. "I'm fine." He said, trying sound reassuring.
Feeling a pang of guilt, He hated seeing her worry for him, especially when he was the one who had put her in danger. "Don't feel so worry about me." He said sounding nonchalant. "I'm a devil, remember ? I can take care of myself."
But Aina hugged him, taken aback by her sudden embrace. He slowly wrapped his arms around her.
Holding her close "Hey, Hey it's okay." He said in a gentle tone. "I'm alright, I promise." He smiled faintly as Aina nuzzled her head against his chest, the feeling of her touch soothing his nerves. His heart swelled with affection as he hold her even closer.
Her eyes shifted at his injuries, She looks at them sadly as he winces slighty, realizing how bad they looked. Anzai didn't want her to worry as he comforts her. "It's really not that bad." He tried to downplay the mood. "They'll heal in no time."
Aina sighs softly "Let's go home." Anzai nods reluctantly letting go and taking her hand in his. "Yeah, Let's go."
