A/N There's a method to my madness. I'm slowing the timeline progress down and Jessica's mean behavior's a reason for Autumn to go to Sodor every day.
Autumn went to school and Jessica pointed, laughed and whispered to her friend group about Autumn. Autumn fled, then had a good cry into her handkerchief, with Sawyer comforting Autumn.
Sawyer says, "Autumn, it's okay to feel hurt by what Jessica said. You have such a kind heart, and anyone who makes you feel small isn't worth your time. Let's focus on what makes you feel strong and happy. Do you want to talk about it, or should we do something together to take your mind off it?".
Autumn, crying into her hanky, said, "Jessica thinks I'm a baby. She said, "There's Baby Autumn, who still watches that baby show Thomas. Thank you, Sawyer. It's just so hard when people are mean like that. I wish everyone could understand that we're all just trying our best. You always know how to make me feel better. Can we maybe do something creative together, like drawing or writing? That always helps me feel more like myself.". She blew her nose gently and dried her tears.
Autumn and Sawyer made up some Thomas fanfiction as they waited for school to begin. They went on with their day. Autumn got off the bus, crying into her hanky, remembering Jessica's treatment of her. Autumn took a tissue box to her room when she got home to Aika crawling around and her kitten.
Autumn floated away to Sodor. She found Thomas on a siding.
Thomas said, "Blow your nose and wipe your eyes. Let it all out.", as she climbed in his cab, wiping her tears. "How about a ride with Annie and Clarabel when I pull my next train?".
Autumn finished her cry, blew her nose and dried her red face and eyes, the latter puffy from tears.
Thomas was prepared for his train and he and his crew let Autumn ride along his branch line.
After her ride, Autumn made her rounds, then came and said good-bye to Thomas. She went back home and threw out all her wet tissues.
Autumn went through her evening, including bedtime routine and fell asleep, hugging her Thomas plush toy.
