Chapter 16 Animal Kidnapping

In a shady club in Nowhere, a brown hunchbacked rat named Rat was playing cards with his friend and coworker a purple weasel named Weasel. Rat was winning the game, when he sensed someone was behind him. Before rat could do anything he was grabbed and thrown in a bag. Weasel watched in shock as a man dressed as a ninja took his friend away. He then grabbed Rat's money and headed to the bar whistling to himself.
At a hamburger dinner the pig owner and cook Jean Bon was locking up for the night, when a lasso was suddenly thrown around his waist binding his arms. A bag was then thrown over Jean Bon's head and two men dressed as ninjas dragged him off.
At a pawn shop that specialized in voodoo and other magic items a large red snake named Big Bayou was going through one of his magic books that talked about the stars, planets, and the zodiac. According to Big Bayou there was a special planetary and star alignment that would happen soon and if a special ritual was preformed with a group of certain animals the person who did that would get incredible cosmic power. A rope was then suddenly thrown around Big Bayou's mouth gagging him and he was struck by a tranquilizer dart that knocked him out. Three men dressed as ninjas appeared and dragged the big snake away.
Miles away at the Oxymoron, Nowhere branch, Victor the spokesman and salesperson was in his room working on a pitch for a meeting with the CEO of Growth Industries to merge the two companies and create a new line of hair based products. Victor had the tv going and the Nowhere Newsman was giving a report about a chain of animal kidnappings.
"First it was a monkey performer named Jojo was taken while performing at a birthday party, then a tiger that was part of a magic act, and finally a prize winning race horse was taken from it's stable. Authorities have no leads, but advice any animal owners to keep a close eye on their pets." Said the Nowhere Newsman.
Victor wasn't really paying attention as he left his room to check on the company mascot Oxymoron to see how he was doing. He reached Oxymoron's office room and saw the window was wide open and some of the furniture had been knocked over as if there was some kind of struggle.
"Oxymoron has been kidnapped!" Screamed Victor in alarm.
