Envy grinned at the horrified expressions on the realm defenders, and slowly withdrew his bladed hand. Luz gasped in pain as the sharp object was pulled out of her body.

Envy transformed his hand back to normal. "Relax, I avoided hitting any vital organs. After all, we do still need her alive…for now."

His grin became a snarl. "But once the plan is complete,

luz tightened into a ball, a small amount of blood leaking out of the hole in her stomach and back.

Suddenly, without warning, a burst of flame smacked into Envy, sending him flying away from luz.

vlad looked slightly surprised, and several bullets were fired into her, forcing her to retreat as well.

The heroes turned around and were shocked to see a newcomer.

kim gasped. "hinawa!"

hinawa stood in the entrance of the room, his respective weapons out.

Lincoln took advantage of the distraction and pulled luz back to the rest of the group, away from the enemy homunculi.

Apollo rushed over and kneeled down next to luz. "Are you all right?"

luz smiled weakly. "I've been better."

she coughed, and glanced back at Envy warily.

Apollo glared at Envy, while luz forced herself to speak.

"hinawa...this guy...he's..."

hinawa nodded grimly. "Yes, i know. I can hear you guys from all the way down the hall."

Envy had recovered from his scorching, and was now looking at Mustang with interest.

"So, the Flame alchemist and his dog have decided to join the party. Things are getting interesting, aren't they Misery?"

kim used her abilities to close luz's wound,

apollo looked at Envy carefully.

I'm glad you fell for that you little getting stabbed by the father who raised you envy smiled.

Apollo growled. "Quit running your mouth you idiot."

Envy's smile faded, and he looked at Apollo with annoyance.

Apollo closed his eyes. "I'm sick of you envy laugh, while Apollo maintained his composure and tilted his head slightly.

Everything you've said is fuel on your funeral pyre." "So then, I think I'll begin...by burning out your tongue!"apollo said as he began transform into his nezha form with taking out his spear and his hands turned into flames.

Envy smirked, while vlad had begun to frown, and was looking at Apollo warily.

Apollo glanced at the others. "Listen up, all of you. Regardless of the outcome today, whether we succeed or fail, whether we live or die, we take this bastard down no matter what. Understood?"

luz staggeringly got to his feet, while Al nodded.

Envy sneered. "Oh really? You're that confident that you can beat the two of us? I think you're underestimating-"

A burst of flame came forward, and Envy barely managed to dodge out of the way just in time.

He looked at Apollo warily, no longer looking quite as confident.

Shit. Maybe I shouldn't have made him quite so angry. After all, he's the one who incinerated my first form.

He glanced at his partner with a smirk. But still, fire has one major weakness.

Envy spoke. "Vlad, you take care of Apollo. I'll deal with the rest of them."

vlad nodded. "Very well."

vlad rushed at Apollo.

Apollo sent a blast of fire at Envy again, but vlad blocked it.

Apollo snarled. "No! Get out of my way!"

He a blast of energy, this time directing the blast at vlad. While the ensuing blast didn't force vlad to retreat, he winced in pain.

hinawa fired a few bullets into vlad as well, but vlad stood his ground, and managed to withstand the attacks.

Apollo continued to send forth his flames. "You're not the one I want! Damn you! I said move! You piece of trash!"

vlad made copies of himself and surrounded Apollo.

Envy glanced back at the six heroes. "Well, that should keep him busy."

luz clenched her fists. "You may be a homunculus, but do you really think you're strong enough to beat all six of us?"

Envy laughed. "Foolish weaklings, don't you realize I've been holding back?"

Envy writhed, and in seconds transformed into his true form, towering over them.

lucy and luz looked at Envy cautiously, as they had seen this before, while hinawa,king,kim and Lincoln looked up in shock and fear, as they had not seen this form before.

Envy chuckled, the sound of his voice bouncing off the floor and walls. "Face it. You worms don't stand a chance against me."

luz shouted. "All right, he'll be holding back because he can't risk killing me, kim, or maria. Everyone pair up!"

luz paired up with maria, king paired up with lucy, and kim paired up with Lincoln. After that, the fight began.

luz and kim both took out ice Glyphs and activated them then ice spikes that stabbed Envy from below, lucy moved around swiftly, using a shadows blade destroy parts of Envy's flank,king tossed out kunai with paper bombs to cause Envy pain, Lincoln combined his body with his alchemy to attack, maria used her alchemy to created gusts of wind to hurl objects at Envy and to move her friends out of harms way when necessary. Together they inflicted a lot of damage on the enormous homunculus, and the massive battle sent magic attacks flying all over the room.

But for all their efforts, Envy was still a durable and cunning foe, and one by one he began to subdue them. During one moment, luz misjudged just how fast Envy's tail was going to move, and it smacked right into her. This, in conjunction with the wound Envy had already given her, caused her to pass out. As she was a sacrifice, Envy left her alone, but she was no longer able to help.

envy then managed to grab king, and pin him down with one of his limbs. King struggled, but was not able to get loose.

Envy then sent out his tongue and wrapped it around maria, tightening it and breaking several of her ribs. Kim had been able to set her free, but Maria's injuries put him out of temporally commission.

Lincoln panted, and looked at Envy despairingly. We can't keep this up. We need help. But how?

He glanced back at the standoff between Apollo and vlad. All at once an idea came to him, and without warning he rushed over toward them.

Lincoln turned his hand into Ecto-Ranium." I can handle him. Please, go help the others!"

hinawa nodded. "Right."

Apollo had already taken off.

Envy had flung lucy aside, being careful to avoid injuring her too badly, and loomed over king, who was making a futile attempt to shield maria.

Envy laughed. "Your time has come lowly worms!"

Then, in the blink of an eye, his entire body was engulfed in flames, lighting up the room and heating up the air.

Apollo glared at the homunculus. "Size won't help you against me."

Realizing this, Envy hastily transformed and assumed the appearance of king, and began to fight the real king. With the two fighting in close proximity, Apollo couldn't attack without fear of getting the wrong one.

Before long, however, king was able to toss a Kunai at Envy and managed to embed it into his forehead. This enabled Apollo to figure out which one was Envy, and he scorched the homunculus again.

Envy then transformed into lucy, and fought the real lucy. Once again, though, lucy was able to use her shadows tendrils to push Envy away, and Apollo scorched him again.

Envy transformed one last time, this time assuming the form of hinawa, and he and the real hinawa wrestled for a minute. It all came to a head when they both stood up and pointed their guns at each other.

They both froze, as hinawa realized the homunculus could kill her instantly, while Envy realized that their fight had moved them away from everyone else, and he wouldn't be able to fool Mustang any more.

Both hinawas turned to Mustang.

The one on the left shouted. "Kid! Be careful! He's Envy!"

The one on the right retorted. "No! Don't listen to him! He's trying to trick you. It's me, hinawa."

"No, kid, I'm the real hinawa!"

"Be quiet you damn homunculus! How dare you imitate me!"hinawa said.

Apollo glanced back and forth between them, his face livid, but he carefully restrained himself.he used his soul reading ability he sees the hinawa on the right revealing it to once again be Envy in disguise. And this time, Apollo did not let up. He scorched Envy over and over, his face becoming more and more enraged with each spark and subsequent firestorm. The flames were so hot and so intense that Envy wasn't able to do anything but scream in agony and wait for it to be over.

The burning went on for some time. On the other side of the room, Lincoln's Ecto-Ranium fist kept punching him hard then vlad phased through the ground escaping. Lincoln slowly made his way back to the others.

Lincoln looked at maria with concern. "Are you all right?"

maria nodded. "Yes. A few little bumps, but I'm okay."

Lincoln let out a breath. "Thank god."

He glanced over, and could see that king using healing glyphs on luz, while kim was healing luz. Luz had regained consciousness, and was frowning.

Lincoln and Maria turned and watched Apollo, their expressions rather fearful.

luz also looked horrified at Apollo's display.

Eventually, it all came to an end, and Apollo and Envy let out one last scream of rage and agony respectively.

"AAAAAHHH!"

"AAAAAHHH!

Apollo breathed heavily, and let his arms fall to his sides. Envy's body lay perfectly still on the ground, and began to dissipate into dust.

Near the skull, a small, green, wormlike creature emerged, and fell onto the ground.

The worm whimpered and tried to crawl away.

"Dammit. Not this again. Not like this."

Apollo walked over and put his shoes on the creature, pinning it in place.

He looked down at it darkly. "So this is your true form. You're ugly. Envy means jealousy. That's what your name means, right? And jealousy is an ugly thing."

Envy squirmed. "No! I don't want to die!"

Apollo glared. "Did my parents want to die? Did any of the people you killed want to die? No, they didn't, but you didn't give them a choice. So I'm not giving you one either!"

Apollo raised hand a black flame, and Envy's eyes widened.

"Now burn in hell!"

Apollo paused as he noticed maria pointing one of hinawa's gun's at him. "And what do you think you're doing?"

maria looked at him sternly. "That's enough brother. I'll take it from here."

Apollo didn't move. "He's as good as finished.

Maria shook her head slightly. "Sorry little brother. Put your hand down."

Apollo snarled. "DAMN IT! I WON'T ASK AGAIN!"

Suddenly, the ground beneath Envy shifted, causing him to fly into the air. Luz, who had recovered somewhat, was back on his feet, and caught Envy's true form.

Apollo looked at his teammates as though he wasn't really seeing him. "Ah, luz."

Apollo held out his hand. "I'll be taking that."

luz glanced at Envy. King, who was standing right next to luz, eyed the little creature with something close to disgust, before shifting his gaze back to Apollo.

Apollo's frown deepened. "I said Give it to me right now."

luz looked at Mustang seriously. "No, I won't."

Apollo stared down luz, neither backing down. Lucy and Lincoln stood on one side of the area, looking at the unfolding drama uncertainly, while kim and hinawa watched from the other side, unsure of what they should do.

After a moment of silence, Apollo spoke. "That thing deserves the worst death possible."

luz frowned. "Maybe, but I can't let you do it."

Apollo raised his hand up. "Give him to me! Or I'll burn your hand up along with him!"

luz retorted. "Try it then! If it's a fight you want come and get it!"

she pointed at Apollo. "But first, you may want to take a good look at your face. Is that the face of a protector saving the multiverse?"

Apollo hesitated.

"Is that what you want to be Apollo ? Another monster?!"kim said.

apollo's hand was shaking, alchemical sparks emitting from his fingertips.

apollo's eyes widened.

Maria said sharply. "Apollo, I can't let you kill him. That being said, I have no intention of letting him live. I'll dispose of him."

Apollo clenched his fist. "But I did it! I finally ran him down!"

maria looked at him sadly. "I know! But still…but still, you're about to do something reckless. This is pure hatred, and I will not let it take you. You're better. I know you're better than that."

Apollo grimaced, and his hands were trembling.

lucy took a tentative step forward. "Think of this. Your rage is so powerful because your love for your parents was just as strong."

Apollo glanced at her.

She smiled sadly. "Love is a double edged sword. It brings joy, but can also bring great sorrow. The people you love can give you happiness, but they can also let you down, and they can die. But we can't let grief allow us to lose ourselves."

She glanced at the scorch marks around the room. "Is this what your friend would have wanted?"

apollo considered lucy's words. After a moment he let out a shaky breath.

Apollo stiffened, and all at once let out a blast of black flame that hit the wall on the far side of the room. The anger drained out of his face to be replaced by exhaustion.

Apollo turned around. "And you, I've done it again, I've hurt you."

He shook his head. "How foolish can one man be?"

He walked over, and pushed maria's gun down. "Please, forgive me sister."

He fell to his knees, and maria followed him down.

lucy let out a sigh of relief, and the tension in the room died down.

Envy looked at Apollo in exasperation. "Are you a moron?"

Everyone jumped slightly, not quite used to Envy's true form, and Apollo glanced at the homunculus.

"Some nice flowery words and feigned empathy? You make me sick to my stomach. Are all you all are such pathetic worms?""This is the perfect time, the ultimate opportunity. Hate and weep, kill and be killed. Fight each other! How could all of you hope to team up? You're all way beyond the point of kissing and making up. Right?"None of them answered him.

Envy looked at them all in disbelief. "There's no way. No, no you can't. Never, never, it's impossible. How could you? How could you do it? How? HOW?!"

luz looked at Envy softly. "Now I see."

Envy looked up at him.

"You're jealous of humans and witches, aren't you? According to you, we're supposed to be nothing compared to homunculi."

luz glanced at kim. "And yet, when we stumble and fall, we have our loved ones to help pick us back up. We support each other, through the best and the worst."

she looked back down at Envy. "Jealousy doesn't just mean wanting what other people have, it can also mean resenting others for what they have."

luz looked back down at Envy. "And you're jealous. You envy us because of that."

Envy froze, various memories playing out in his head.

Fool. You just have to forsake one little village to help save an entire country. Too bad you don't have the stomach to do the logical thing.

witches and Humans are such simple creatures.

You all don't make any sense to me. You throw away your lives for nothing.

I shouldn't be surprised, that's just how all you humans and witches are.

Another fool.

Envy glared at luz, and began to squirm.

luz frowned. "Hey, what do you think you're doing? Hold on a second!"

Envy wriggled his way out of luz's right hand.

"Idiot, where do you think you're going?"luz said tried to grab Envy with his left hand, but Envy bit him.

luz winced. "Ow!"

Envy fell to the ground, and hinawa pointed her gun at him.

Kim held up a hand. "Wait. He won't last much longer."

Envy slowly crawled along the ground, glancing at each of them in turn, before lowering his gaze.

"Humiliating, ending up so small and pathetic like this. Trampled on by humans, those loathsome beings."

He looked back at luz. "What's worse, out of all the scum out there, you just had to be the one to see through me, didn't you noceda?"

Tears began to leak out of his eyes, and all at once he began to cry.

Apollo,hinawa and lucy,'s expressions didn't change, while kim,hinawa,luz and Lincoln seemed taken aback by surprise Envy's display.

Envy fell onto his side, tears continuing to flow. "Damn! Dammit, Dammit! I've been humiliated. Humiliated! I'm a homunculus! I'm the living incarnation of Envy! I never had any other choice! What else was I supposed to do? What else could I have done?!"

He covered his eyes. "Damn all of you! Don't look at me like that! To be pitied by the likes of you…that's the ultimate humiliation."

Despite himself, luz did feel pity for the sad creature before him, and he could tell that some of the others did as well.

Envy let out a small laugh. "I guess we'll see how long this adorable little alliance of yours can hold up. Ah well, best of luck with that noceda.

Envy reached into his mouth, and pulled out a red stone. His muscles tensed for a moment before he crushed the stone.

luz's eyes widened, and Envy's body began to disintegrate into dust.

Envy looked at Ed one last time. "Goodbye...luz...noceda."

With that final proclamation, he disappeared forever.

Apollo held his hand over his eyes. "He took the easy way out and killed himself. Cowardly bastard."

lucy bowed her head. "Such a sad life."

There was a moment of heavy silence.

luz stood up straight. "Well, it's an important reminder. Unlike that bearded bastard and those who follow him, we actually have something worth fighting for."

Lincoln nodded. "Yes. And we'd better keep moving if we want to succeed."

After making sure that everyone was okay, they split into two different groups. Apollo,king,kim and Lincoln would head back out so that the enemy wouldn't be able to catch up with the others, or at the very least would be forced to send someone after him and leave the center less defended. Meanwhile, luz, maria,lucy, king, and hinawa would continue to the center.

kim looked down at her twin sister sister. "Be careful luz."

luz smiled softly. "Of course. Hopefully it'll all be over the next time we see each other."

Lincoln was frowning, and lucy looked at him in concern.

"Something wrong?"

Lincoln looked at her worryingly. "I hate having to leave, as you're about to go right into the middle of danger."

lucy nodded. "True, but I'll be fine.

Lincoln bowed his head. "I know. But..."

lucy smiled at him warmly. "Remember what mom and dad told us."

louds never quit Lincoln said shedding tears.

"We'll be fine. See you soon."lucy said.She then hugged her brother, and left to rejoin the others,and then reluctantly turned around. Then a portal opened then rj,deon,black widow,aja,krell,zeno wing and blake

Well the more the merrier Lincoln said.

Blake,deon,dani and krell went with Kim's group and rj,aja,zeno wing and black widow went with Luz's group. The two groups moved in opposite directions, hoping that they still had some control over their fates.

king saw the Collector's mirror sitting amongst stone pillars. He stepped up to the mirror and then looked at Kikimora briefly. He touched it and it glowed, revealing the Collector.

"Leave me alone," He complained like a child, crossing his arms and having his eyes closed. "I don't associate with fibbers," He blew a raspberry and then noticed that it wasn't Belos who summoned him, but King. "Wait, I know someone's there. I can feel it." He could see Kikimora, but not King for some reason. "But why can't I see you...?"

King looked down at his glowing collar and then removed it, appearing in front of the Collector. He gasped once he laid eyes on King. He moved over to float behind him, one half looking at him. "You look like that bully who put me in here! No way!" The other half exclaimed and then the two halves came together. "Are you his little Titan baby?!" His face formed to look like King's. "I've always wanted to play with you!" He formed into a circle and then little figures of him ran on the circle. "But your dumb pops hid you. But i want to help"

"okay Mr. Collector King called out urgently, holding out a hand.

"just call me collector?" Oh! If you're a Titan, you can let me out," He smiled up at King. "I can stop the spell! And we can play together!"

"Golly! You'd do that?" King clasped his hands.

"Wait," The Collector then looked suspicious. "You're not tricking me into doing your chores like Phillip, are you?"

"I would never!" King gestured to himself, holding out his finger. "Pinky swear." The Collector looked up and giggled with a grin, the place shaking again as a faint roar from Belos was heard. He looked in worry before turning back to the Collector. "I'll even let you out right now! What do I need to do? D-Do you need my blood...?"

"No, silly," The Collector smiled, moving away and floating above the mirror. "Just follow my lead..."

The Collector hugged the mirror, King reaching out and touching the Collector's finger with his own. He then pulled and a human hand came out. The Collector's symbol appeared underneath him and spread out a diagram of each phase of the moon, stars, and the sun. The mirror started to break.

oh before I forget luz and amity, the sage of six Hagoromo want me to give the collector said as He reveals the sun right palm and moon on his left palms.

Weirdly enough luz and amity know what to do luz held the Collector's right palm with the sun and amity held the collector left palm then,the collector closed his eyes the glowing was coming from his hands that amity and luz were holding,then it stopped.

Luz and amity let go,then the two saw that the sun and moon symbols were on their hands.

Hagoromo wanted me to give the his powers of yin and yang but they won't active until the time is right the collector said.
