Chapter 1: A new beginning for Evil

The story begins with a large book opening, with the picture in the pages popping up and taking the form of a magical land surrounding a large castle like school. Suddenly a female voice is heard.

Female Narrator: "Welcome to ever after high, a school where the sons and daughters of fairy tale legend go to follow the same paths of their parents. They are known as the royal, those that embrace their destiny to become the next legends of fairy tail."

Male Narrator: "Really? You would start the story like that."

Female Narrator: "Do you mind? I'm trying to tell a story here."

Male Narrator: "I know but if you're going to tell this story then you need to tell both sides of it. This isn't only about those that want to follow their destiny, it's also about those that want to find their own. They are known as the rebels and this is as much their story as it is the royals."

The two voices begin to argue as a third voice joins in, this one sounds like a teenage girl named Brooke Page.

Brooke Page: "Guys come on we got a story to tell, does it matter which side is first? I mean they are both important to me."

Male/Female Narrator: "Not now Brooke!"

The two go back to arguing, ignoring Brooke as she tries to stop it. As this goes on none of them are aware of a new presence making its way in.

Unknown voice: "Sorry to break up such an entertaining scene but this story needs to get moving."All three are taken by surprise by this new voice.

Brooke Page: "Who said that?"

Male Narrator: "Who's there?"

Female Narrator: "How did you get in here?"

Unknown Voice: "It wasn't easy i'll tell you that, but not impossible either, and as Brooke here said this story needs to get going. She is also right, it doesn't matter which side is told first."

Brooke Page: "really?"

Unknown Voice: "Yes because this story doesn't begin at ever after."

Brooke Page: "It doesn't?"

Unknown Voice: "That's right, it takes place in another land, and it starts a bit further back from now." Suddenly the three narrators begin to feel strange.

Brooke Page: "Hey what's going on? I can't move"

Unknown Voice: "Sorry about that, but you three won't be the one starting this story. It's all yours gnarl, do your thing."

Gnarl: "Of course sire, now then how shall we start?"

Unknown Voice: "I'll leave that up to you."

Gnarl: "Thank you sire, ah I know now." "(Throat clear) Once...upon...a time in the land of Greenvale, ruled by the Gromgard family. A land that was plagued by so many problems, from blighted fields to halflings stealing from the people, to bandits and wolves terrorizing the countryside and so many more.

Things seemed to be looking down for Greenvale, until the arrival of the overlord, with his own two hands, his hoard of minions and a really big weapon he dealt with all the problems, bringing order to his land. Under his dark rule the all was well, this allowed to venture to new horizons and even find a mistress and have a family. Times were good (sad sigh) but at last it was not meant to last, years have passed and the overlord reign looked strong until the arrival of heroes. A bunch of self righteous do-gooders came forth challenging the overlord, attacking his home and threatening his family. With everything he had our master fought off the heroes while protecting his family, but despite all his power our master was eventually overwhelmed and finally killed."

Unknown Voice: "What a bunch of dicks"

Gnarl: "As if killing our master wasn't enough they then destroyed the castle, stealing all the treasures of the overlord including the minion hives and leaving the family without a gold to their name."

Unknown Voice: "Like I said dicks"

Gnarl: "It seemed like things were bleak for the family and us minions without a master, it looked like this could be it for evil, that was until we found a new master in the overlords son. To the family this was a glimmer of hope, to us this was a new beginning for evil. Because like I always say…"

Minions: "Evil always finds a way!"

Gnarl: "This is the story of the new overlord and his journey of destruction, domination and all around madness, as he ushers in a new wave of evil with a hint of revenge. Now then I think it's time we got this story started, don't you my lord?"

Overlord: "Yes I think it is, now then without further ado let's begin…" All around the air begins to waver as he unleashes magic "A new legend" with that final say the magic envelopes the area causing everything to go black.
