Tony's Secret Girlfriend

Happy recalled when he first stopped at the Mauder's International Delights Café with his boss and friend because his boss wanted to try something new instead of the same old routine.
~ Flash Back ~
Tony was in a mood because the board meeting had discussed with him that he needed to settle down and start a family.
Well, if you knew Tony well enough, that was something that he feared the most; because he wasn't sure of himself to be husband or father material.
However, that changed when he walked into Mauder's International Delights Café for the first time and Happy was right behind him. They had been amazed at the layout of the Café because you could sit in a section that was a different city from around the world.
Tony was amazed at how beautiful the Café was on the inside because it was like he had transported to different cities around the world.
Then a young woman short length raven black hair and green eyes that were like emeralds with curves in all the right places was walking towards them. He noticed that his boss, Tony Stark seemed captivated by her beauty.
~ End of Flash Back ~
Happy came out of the memory because that several months back like twelve and half months back. He was the only one that knew that Tony Stark had been secretly dating the owner of the Mauder's International Delights Café and her name was Harriet Jayme Selene Potter-Black.
It had turned out that Miss Potter-Black had traveled around the world after she had finished her schooling at a boarding school in the highlands of Scotland.
Each time, that he had brought his boss to this particular Café; his boss was getting to know Miss Potter-Black. They had become friends and their friendship led to something more over time.
With Pepper and Rhodey earlier that day...
"Pepper, is the board still asking Tony settle down?" Rhodey asked curiously.
"Yes and every time that they bring it up, Tony seems to disappear with Happy driving." Pepper said.
"Where does Tony go?" Rhodey questioned.
"I don't know. " Pepper said.
Suddenly, Tony stormed out of the board room mumbling about going to see Nix.
They watched as Tony walked out of the building and got into the car. They watched as Happy drove off with Tony wondering where they going.
"Tony has been acting strange lately, like he's in love or something." Pepper said.
Rhodey looked at Pepper confused and asked, "What do you mean, Pepper?"
"I think Tony has a secret girlfriend and he goes to see her. Also, I think that she's been with him at all times; which means that she's been to every Stark Industries Event as well as the Expos." Pepper stated.
"Well, let's follow him and find out." Rhodey suggested.
Pepper nodded and walked with Rhodey to his car.
Present Time...
Rhodey and Pepper pulled to a Café where they saw Tony's car that Happy drove. They were surprised to see coming out of the Café with a woman and he was smiling with her.
Rhodey decided to crack the windows so the could hear what Tony was saying to the woman. Both he and Pepper listened quietly.
"So the board is still pushing you to wed?" They heard the woman say.
They heard Tony say, "Yeah, they think that I don't want to marry. I am just worried that I won't be a good husband/father still."
"Tony, kids don't come with instructions; however, I think you'll be a great father because you have helped me when my godson visited last week. Plus, you're a strong person, Tony and no one can take that from you." Harriet said.
"Thanks, Nix." Tony said.
Harriet giggled and said, "You rather call me Nix instead of my name?"
"Yes, because it keeps you mysterious." Tony stated.
"Tony, you do know that Teddy has been calling you, Uncle Tony now. Andromeda keeps asking me who is Uncle Tony is." Harriet stated.
Tony was surprised and asked curiously, "Yes, I am aware that Teddy has been calling me Uncle Tony. However, what did you tell her exactly did you tell her?"
"I told her that you were a gentleman that became my friend first and over time, our friendship became something more. She was happy that I found someone finally. " Harriet stated.
Tony chuckled and said, "So, I am your secret boyfriend while you're my secret girlfriend?"
"Yes, if you want it to be that way, Tony." Harriet said.
"I think that I've kept you a secret long enough, Nix." Tony said.
Rhodey and Pepper were stunned to hear that Tony had been in a secret relationship this entire time.
Harriet giggled and said, "Tony, you do know that you'll have to meet those that I absolutely trust?"
"I know. However, I'll be out town for business." Tony stated.
"Yeah, that's what has me worried, Tony." Harriet said.
"Nix, don't worry." Tony said.
"Well, I can tell that you are a strong man, Tony and you were the only one who accepted everything about me." Harriet said.
"The same goes for you, Nix. Rhodey and Pepper are my most trusted friends just as Happy is; sometimes, I don't tell them everything. I wonder how Rhodey and Pepper will react that I kept you hidden from them for a year and a half?" Tony said jokingly.
"Tony, you forget that I was in plain sight the entire time. It was just my hair and eyes were a different color; but only you knew it was me." Harriet said.
"Well, you are the only person that I know that has a tattoo of a mythical creature known as a Phoenix with unique colors and design." Tony said.
Harriet giggled as Tony opened the door for her to get in. Then Tony got in and told Happy to drive to the beach.
Rhodey and Pepper followed them but stayed out of sight well they tried to. They wondered why Tony was going towards the beach with Nix.
At the beach...
Most of Harriet's trusted friends and family members set up everything to surprise Harriet or as Tony called her Nix.
"Can you believe that Harriet was dating Tony Stark for a year and half?" Teddy asked.
"Well, it was a shock that she kept the fact that she was secretly dating the CEO of Stark Industries for a year and a half and didn't tell anyone." Draco said.
"Not to mention, she runs a Café here." George stated.
Teddy giggled.
"Teddy, what's so funny?" Andromeda questioned.
"Uncle Tony has something special for Aunt Harriet which is a surprise." Teddy said.
Now, everyone was wondering what Tony was up to besides planning having a surprise birthday party on the Beach for Harriet.
"Do you know what it is, Teddy?" George questioned.
"I do know, because Uncle Tony asked me something and he also asked me to get you all to come here to California to surprise Aunt Harriet." Teddy said.
"Teddy, why are you calling Tony, Uncle Tony?" Narcissa asked curiously.
"I started calling Tony, Uncle Tony every time I came to see Aunt Harriet. He was there every time and he was so awesome helping with my muggle studies. Also, he worked with Aunt Harriet on a project that was backed by MCUSA itself." Teddy stated
.
"Does Tony know that Harriet is a witch?" Neville asked curiously.
"He does and sometimes calls Aunt Harriet his very own Samantha." Teddy said.
"But Harriet's name isn't Samantha." Andromeda said.
"I know Grandma, but Uncle Tony was making reference to a muggle TV show called Bewitched where a witch marries a muggle but instead of calling them muggles; the TV show called them mortals." Teddy said.
"Oh?" Andromeda said.
"So, Tony makes references to muggle TV shows and movies?" Astoria questioned.
"Yeah and he planned all of this before he has to go Afghanistan for business for the U.S. military." Teddy stated.
"What's this, Teddy?" George questioned pointing to a strange box.
"It's called a movie projector. Myself and Uncle Tony's bodyguard took pictures of Uncle Tony's and Aunt Harriet's secret relationship along with some videos when they weren't paying attention." Teddy said.
Moments Later...
Tony and Harriet arrived. Tony was aware that Rhodey and Pepper had been following them from the beginning. So, he whispered to Happy to tell Rhodey and Pepper to go to the beach.
Happy did as Tony asked and walked over to where Rhodey had parked. Happy walked down with Rhodey and Pepper.
"Hey, Happy!" Teddy said.
"Hey, Teddy. Tony has Harriet still at the car." Happy said.
Teddy grinned.
After awhile, Tony was guiding Harriet down to the beach. Everyone noticed that Tony had Harriet wearing a blindfold in order to surprise her.
"Nix, keep your eyes close once I remove the blindfold. Until I tell you to, Nix." Tony said.
"Okay, Tony." Harriet said.
Tony led to the center then let go of her hand and went to stand with the others.
"Tony?" Harriet questioned.
"Now, open your eyes!" Tony said.
Harriet opened her eyes and heard, "SURPRISE! HAPPY BIRTHDAY, HARRIET!"
Harriet was indeed surprised and then looked at Tony curiously.
"I wanted to surprise you, Nix." Tony stated.
"Well, you certainly did that, Tony." Harriet said.
"I also invited your friends and family that you care about." Tony stated.
Harriet looked and saw Teddy, Andromeda, Narcissa, and all the others that she cried tears of joy.
Tony smiled but there was another reason why Tony had Harriet's family and friends here. The only one that knew what he was going to do was Teddy.
Harriet was hugged by her friends and family then she kissed Tony and thanked him.
Pepper and Rhodey had a feeling that there was more to this than just a surprise birthday party for Nix.
"Tony?" Pepper said.
"Hm?" Tony said as he watched Harriet talking to her cousin.
"What's Nix's real name if you don't mind?" Pepper asked curiously.
"Yeah, Tony. I mean you can't keep calling her Nix?" Rhodey said.
Harriet giggled hearing Tony being grilled by his two friends then she decided to save him by saying, "Miss Potts and Mr. Rhodey, my real name is Harriet Jayme Selene Potter-Black, goddaughter of the late Sirius Orion Black."
Pepper's eyes went wide with shock; while Rhodey was confused.
"You're the goddaughter of the late CEO of Black Industries?!" Pepper said in shock pointing at Harriet.
Harriet nodded.
Rhodey realized now who Tony's secret girlfriend was and said, "How did this happen?"
"Nix told me everything and apparently there are still some in Britain who think that a woman's place is still in the home." Tony stated.
Draco spoke suddenly, "Nix as Tony calls my cousin; she helps out the company by giving me sage advice when I need it. Besides, if I know my cousin, she wouldn't want to work in an office all day and listen to people who insult her."
"Draco?!" Harriet said.
"Well, it's true, cousin. You always felt like you were trapped when we were younger and you can live your life the way that you want to." Draco stated.
Before the conversation could go on any longer; Teddy said, "Let's watch the show."
Everyone sat down with some food and the little movie started.
Pepper and Rhodey were stunned that it was about Tony's and Harriet's relationship. Apparently, they weren't the only ones that were shocked.
They watching the video which started from when Tony met Harriet aka Nix. Tony and Harriet laughed when a few pictures appeared when Tony was being childish and Harriet did something to get him to stop.
Then there was laughter when a video of both Harriet and Tony were in his lab where Tony and Harriet started to get in a grease or oil fight; no one could really tell.
Tony looked at Teddy and asked, "When did you do that video?"
"I didn't, Jarvis did. He thought it was in his words 'a cute bonding moment between lovebirds' and that you and Aunt Harriet were having fun." Teddy answered.
Tony mumbled about something about Jarvis being a traitor in a sarcastic way.
Harriet smiled at Tony and said quietly to him, "Jarvis, may have taken some more videos of you and I being silly sometimes; but for an AI, he's glad to see you happy."
Tony returned Harriet's smile and said, "You're right, which make this video makes good memories."
By the time that the movie was over; everyone was laughing at antics that Tony and Harriet got up to while they were secretly dating.
"Harriet, I can't believe you pranked a reporter!" George said.
"It was just any reporter, Uncle George. Her name was Christine Everhart and she was trying into Uncle Tony's pants." Teddy said.
Tony looked at Teddy confused.
Teddy sighed and said, "She wanted Uncle Tony just to make a statement that she slept with Uncle Tony. So, I told Aunt Harriet that there was a reporter that wanted to have sex with Uncle Tony. However, I said in a way that Aunt Harriet got the jest of it."
George chuckled and said, "Don't mess with Nix's mate."
Tony chuckled and recalled when he and Harriet had the conversation about her being a witch and she had told him about her animagus form which was that of the beautiful mythical creature known as a Phoenix. She had shown it to him and instead of calling Phoenix; he decided to call her Nix for short.
Now, that he thought about; it was because of Nix well Harriet that he could manage anything because she would give him the best advice on things and he loved her for her being herself regardless of what the Magical Community of Britain thought of her. He had enjoyed working with Harriet and Teddy on making none magical things work in harmony with with magic.
Not mention, the American Magical Community was very supportive of him and Harriet regardless of some stupid stature of secrecy. Also, they were amazed that he had helped the Magical World in a way since he was dating the Magical World's hero secretly and didn't blame him.
So, what he was about to do; he was nervous as he'll because he wasn't sure if she would say yes or no.
So, he took a deep breath and let it out then said, "Nix?"
Harriet turned and said, "Yes, Tony?"
"I would like to go ahead and give you my but it comes with a question." Tony said.
"Okay, Tony." Harriet said.
Everyone wondered what Tony was doing until Pepper gasped when she saw Tony kneel down on one knee.
"What is it, Pepper?" Rhodey asked curiously.
Pepper just pointed towards Tony and Harriet.
Rhodey looked and was shocked to see Tony down on one knee in front of Harriet.
Happy along with Teddy were grinning because they were the only two that knew that Tony had planned this out in order to surprise Harriet.
Everyone was now looking at Tony and Harriet.
"Harriet Jayme Selene Potter-Black, I admit that you have changed my world since I met you and I have enjoyed every moment, every minute, and more. I would love to have you to remain by my side for now and for ever. Would you marry me, even though we kept our relationship a secret for so long?" Tony said.
Harriet was in shock that Tony was asking her to marry him on her birthday and with tears starting fall; she said, "Yes! I'll marry you, Tony!"
Tony had been worried seeing Harriet starting to tear up but then realized that it was tears of joy and then he was suddenly knocked down by a passionate kiss from Nix well Harriet.
Teddy had recorded the proposal along with his Aunt Harriet's reaction and took pictures that he would secretly send to the Press.
The next day...
The Press was having a field day because Tony Stark had gotten engaged the day before he had went to Afghanistan and now he was MIA or dead. No one really knew, but they were surprised at how strong Tony's fiance was.
The Press was completely attacking her at her own Café. They continued to badger her if thought that Tony was dead because Stark Industries was considering that he was probably dead.
Well that statement did it and Harriet said, "If Stark Industries is willing to lose a possible merger with Black Industries then the person to cause it would regret it."
"What do you mean, Miss Nix?" A reporter questioned.
"Not only was I only Tony's secret girlfriend and now his fiance; My name is Harriet Jayme Selene Potter-Black, the goddaughter of the late CEO of Black Industries, Sirius Orion Black. My cousin, Draco Malfoy is the CEO of Black Industries and he wouldn't want to do business with a company that has no proof that their CEO was dead." Harriet said.
The reporter was in shock to learn that Tony Stark was engaged to the goddaughter of the Black Industries late CEO, Sirius Orion Black and was the cousin of the now CEO of Black Industries.
Somewhere in Afghanistan...
Tony had been kidnapped by terrorists and all he think about his fiance. He hoping to make back to her alive and then he remembered that she told him that he was strong. However, he wondered if thought about iron when she said it.
Yinsen was watching Tony as he was working with a smile. He had to ask Tony, "Stark, why are you smiling?"
Tony chuckled and said, "Leave it to my fiance to give me an unexpected idea and she's been through more hell than I ever have."
"What do you mean, Stark?" Yinsen asked.
"My fiance lost her parents at the age of one. She lived with abusive relatives until she went to a boarding school in the highlands of Scotland for seven years except her third year; she had to face her parents' killer. Then her final year, she had to face her parents' killer again and it was either her or him that basically had to die." Tony stated.
Yinsen was stunned to hear that but he continued to help Stark with his plans.
However, Tony was completely unaware that his fiance decided to do something for his company until he returned.
Back in Malibu...
Harriet had decided to let her Café go to one of her employees and asked her to keep the name because eventually her and Tony would continue coming here.
The employee that became the new owner agreed to do what her former boss asked of her. So, the new owner and the employees wished her luck.
Harriet made her way to Tony's home. When she entered Tony's home, Jarvis greeted her at once.
"Welcome back, Miss Nix."
"Thank you, Jarvis. Jarvis, I know that you're an AI but do you believe in soulmates?" Harriet questioned.
"Sir believed in the possibility of soulmates and I believe in sir."
"Jarvis, in the Magical Community, soulmates are sometimes rare; however, the ability that soulmates have is that they can feel each other's pain as well as emotions. Sometimes they're not aware that they can do that." Harriet said.
"Miss Nix, do you mean that Sir is alive?"
"Yes, but Rhodey may not find him if they are holding him in a cave or something." Harriet stated.
"So, sir would found if he finds a way out of where they are possibly holding him?"
"Exactly, Jarvis. I will never give up on Tony, Jarvis because I love him for who he is and not because he has money or fame." Harriet said.
"I believe you, Miss Nix because sir has been very happy with you."
"Like you, Jarvis, I want to know who is responsible for this." Harriet said.
"Miss Nix, when sir returns what will you do?"
"I'll help him if he wants to and let him know that I will always be here for him." Harriet said.
"I believe sir has chosen well in you, Miss Nix."
"Thanks, Jarvis but you can call me Miss Potter-Black if you like." Harriet said.
"I believe I've gotten use to calling you Miss Nix like sir has."
"Okay. So how is everything going for Stark Industries?" Harriet questioned.
"Other than board finding out that sir got engaged before he left; they seem shocked by who he is engaged to."
"Jarvis, would you be angry if I told you that I don't trust Obadiah Stane?" Harriet questioned.
"Certainly not, Miss Nix. Although,are you suggesting that he could be behind sir's kidnapping?"
"I told Tony once that Obadiah made me feel uncomfortable or uneasy for some reason." Harriet stated.
At that moment, Pepper arrived followed by Obadiah and Happy. Harriet wasn't exactly happy to see Obadiah at all. Jarvis recorded everything quietly unless he was spoken to.
"Miss Potter-Black, what brings you to Tony's home?" Obadiah questioned.
"Well, Tony is my fiance and I wanted to make sure that no one broke into his home to steal anything." Harriet said.
Pepper noticed that Harriet was tilting her head a bit then she moved a little bit. However, what neither Pepper and Obadiah knew was that Tony was communicating through the bond to Harriet.
Then to their surprise, Harriet was smiling.
"Miss Nix, Rhodey is calling."
"Patch him through, Jarvis." Harriet said.
"Yes, Miss Nix."
"Hey, Nix."
"Hello, Rhodey."
"We found Tony and we're bringing him home."
"Good, Rhodey. And tell Tony that as soon as he gets home that I'll be waiting to help him if he wants me to." Harriet stated
.
"Sure thing, Nix."
Jarvis ended the call. However, Obadiah was quietly cursing to himself at the fact that Tony was alive because he wanted control of Stark Industries.
"Nix, this is good news." Pepper said.
"Yes, it is. I'm guessing that they'll be here either today or by tomorrow. " Harriet said.
Obadiah was about to say something when Jarvis said,"Miss Nix, sir had left something for you in his lab."
"Thank you, Jarvis." Harriet said and started making her way to the lab.
Pepper followed her because she was curious as to what Tony had left Nix in his lab.
Obadiah was curious as well but he had more important things to do and left.
In Tony's lab...
Harriet knew what Jarvis had done and she was greatful.
Pepper looked at Harriet and asked, "Jarvis, where is thing that Tony left?"
"Sir did leave something but what I said was also a code to Miss Nix on sir's orders. Miss Nix, it should be on his work bench."
"Thank you, Jarvis." Harriet said as she looked for what Jarvis had told her about.
"What do you mean code, Jarvis?" Pepper questioned.
"Well, sir knew that Mr. Stane made Nix uncomfortable for some reason; so he made for myself and Happy to know when to get Miss Nix away from Mr. Stane."
Pepper was stunned.
"Now, you know the code as well, Pepper. However, Tony may have came up with more codes." Harriet said.
"Oh?" Pepper said.
Harriet found what Jarvis was talking about and hit the button.
Both Harriet and Pepper were surprised to see a holographic form of Tony standing before them.
Holographic Tony speaking:
Hey, Nix. I have no doubt that either Pepper, Happy, or Rhodey may be with you when you see this.
I designed this holographic projector of sorts; I may have to work out the kinks a bit.
Harriet realized what Tony was talking about because the holographic form of Tony was glitching a bit.
I created this in case I had to go on business trip of sorts so I could talk with you or not miss important things.
By the way, the cub helped with this and even I have to admit that he has good ideas. However, this will probably need more work when I return from Afghanistan.
Harriet giggled while Pepper wondered what Tony meant by cub.
So, if I'm not back yet. I gave Jarvis instructions for you to see what Teddy and I had been working on. I hope you like it.
God knows I love you, Nix. You've been a wonderful person to know and love. You saw me for who I was regardless as Pepper would put it probably for me acting like a man-child.
You were also the only person that I felt most comfortable with in a romantic setting.
Suddenly, a holographic form of Teddy appeared beside Tony.
Holographic Teddy speaking:
Aunt Harriet, Uncle Tony is the best. He's an amazing gentleman and I couldn't ask for a better Uncle.
They heard Tony in background say:
Cub, you're going to ruin the surprise for your Aunt!
Teddy: No, I am not, Uncle Tony. Besides, you're the one that's practicing on how to propose to Aunt Harriet!
Tony: Yeah, well I have never done this before and I don't want to screw up because she means everything to me.
Harriet heard Teddy laugh.
Teddy: I understand, Uncle Tony but you also make Aunt Harriet happy because you love her for her and nothing else.
Tony: True.
Harriet and Pepper watched as the holographic form of Tony and Teddy were joking around that it brought tears to Harriet's eyes.
"Sorry to interrupt, but Rhodey called to inform that they would be arriving at the airport soon."
"Thank you, Jarvis." Harriet said.
"You're welcome, Miss Nix."
Pepper giggled.
Harriet looked at Pepper and asked, "What's so funny?"
"Well, when you and Tony tie the knot; Jarvis will be calling you ma'am or Madam." Pepper stated.
"I know." Harriet said.
Then Harriet and Pepper headed back upstairs. Pepper noticed that Nix seemed dignified at times when she needed to be; but when it came to Tony it was a whole different story.
So, they met Happy outside and made their way to the airport to greet Tony and Rhodey.
At the airport...
The plane arrived well landed while Pepper, Harriet, and Happy were at the gate to greet Rhodey and Tony.
As soon as Harriet saw Tony walk down the ramp; she ran towards him immediately and kissedhim passionately. Which he gladly returned.
When they broke their kiss; Tony said, "Did you miss me, Nix?"
Harriet smiled and said, "You know that I did, Tony."
Tony noticed that Nix had done something and asked quietly, "Nix, did you do something?"
Harriet looked at Tony and nodded.
"What did you do?" Tony questioned quietly.
"I let one of my employees takeover my Café as owner because I had a feeling that you would need me more." Harriet said.
"God, I love you." Tony said.
"I know." Harriet said.
Tony chuckled and said, "Since when did we become Han and Leia?"
Harriet giggled and said, "Who knows?"
Harriet walked with Tony to the car where Happy was waiting.
Rhodey and Pepper watched the couple then smiled.
