OK I don't know about you guys but I have had it up to here with these Bot Farms that are constantly trying to scam money from us by offering to 'make art' of our work! It's insulting is what it is! I made a similar story on my Fictionpress account but I realized hardly anyone looks at Fictionpress so I figured I'd get more attention if I raised a stink where the real action is on Fanfiction also...Necessity is the Mother of Invention any opportunity to make a new character is fine by me...So here I introduce Buttercup...Who might be the closest thing to my Fursona
Buttercup is a Mutant Pot-Belied Pig living in New York City...How did she become a mutant? It's a bit too long to go over here but suffice it to say when she was a Piglet the scientists injected some strange 'blue goo' into her not knowing what to expect so imagine their surprise when the next morning she was standing on her hind legs and asking for breakfast! Well one of the scientists took responsibility and adopted her as his daughter giving Buttercup her name instead of the serial number she originally had...Obviously it could be quite confining being mostly kept in the penthouse and only going out on certain occasions under the cover of darkness wrapped up like a babushka to conceal the fact that she was a bipedal pig!
So Buttercup dealt with her life of confinement by living vicariously via the information super highway...She liked to frequent forums talking about her favorite her favorite comic books and cartoons...Lately she had some really good conversations with someone calling themselves...Turtle Titan...Isn't that the new guy on the Justice Force reserves? Anyway she also discovered she liked writing...Inspired by the Science Fiction of Cordwainer Smith...She decided to vent her pain by writing of a Sci-Fi Future where mutant animals were the new slave class of society...She really put a lot of work into her stories so it deeply depressed her that no one ever reviewed...She knew she would get plenty of reviews if she wrote about the most popular subjects like...Men getting pregnant...But Buttercup didn't like that kind of stuff she thought it was gross! And she was thinking the reason no one reviewed her stories was like a classic Garfield strip where Jon is asking Garfield a bunch of questions about the show he's watching and the punchline is an exasperated Garfield saying 'I'm trying to watch TV! Stop trying to make me think!'
So imagine Buttercup's surprise when she saw a review on several of her stories! But when she looked at what they said...Hoo boy!
They were all vague comments not saying anything specific at all! And each of them kept saying they wanted to make art based on the story if only she would give them money…
Clicking on the names and seeing no profile written and no stories of their own, maybe they had a list of favorite stories and authors...But it was clear this was a scam! Buttercup did some digging online and saw these were bot farm accounts so no point replying with insults because you can't insult a machine!
But Buttercup was angry! This was worse than no reviews at all! This was an insult! The Mutant Porcine felt this was the last straw! She had to get revenge...But how?
While this is a Ninja Turtles fic because Mutant Protagonist..You can be sure I'll include my favorite BTAS and Punch Out characters in my war against the Bot Farms!
