It starts with the animals enjoying their natural lives. Some of them are captured & taken to the lab where the Two Bandicoot Siblings are mutated. The male Bandicoot is about to get zapped by the Evolvo-Ray that was invented by Doctor Neo Cortex,but begins to malfunction. The Bandicoots escape & ended up in the island where they were greeted by Aku-Aku,a living wooden mask. He gave the name of the Bandicoots: Crash & Coco.
At the Castle,Cortex ordered Gin & Brio to hire 3 Bounty Hunters to hunt down the Bandicoots. They hired Pinestripe Potoroo,Ripper Roo,& Papu Papu. Coco begin inventing gadgets while Crash wonders off & found Gemstones. Aku tells the Bandicoots that it can't be fallen to the wrong hands. They are later ambushed by Pinestripe,Ripper,& Papu. As Aku,Crash,& Coco fled, Hunters report the Gems to Cortex.
Cortex believe that this Gem could power up his machine. Aku reveals that he was once a Witch Doctor who was wounded during the battle until he transfer his soul into the mask. The three are ambushed again. Coco & Aku are taken while Crash fled from Papu,who fell into the Pool of quicksand & sunk. Crash infiltrates Cortex's lair where he threw Ripper into the ocean. Cortex was about to zap Coco,but Crash sabotage the machine. It begins to overload & exploded.
The Lair began to collapse,causing the debris to fell on Pinestripe. Aku & the Bandicoots escape and are confronted by Cortex,Gin,& Brio in their airship. Crash manage to defeat them. Cortex fell while Gin & Brio had one Parachute. The Bandicoots & Aku celebrate their victory & accept this island their home.
Mid-Credits:
Ripper manage to survive while he was washed up & call out to anyone until he got pinched in the nose by a crab.
Post-Credits:
Brio sat down,complaining about losing,but Gin assures him that they still got tricks up their sleeve. Meanwhile,A Capsule opens & out of it was Muscular Bandicoot with a Robotic Arm.
