Chapter 14: In The Night

I'm so grateful that I'm in love with Monty. The afternoon after karaoke night with the Glamrocks, Gavin called me in early one day last week because a day shift guard left early because he got sick. I had a migraine all morning from the hangover, but I did accept the offer. It was because the migraine was starting to subside as the day was going on. When I had arrived at the Atrium, where Gavin was waiting for me to arrive, he was kind of surprised to see how I looked.

"Damn, it looks like a brick wall hit you!", Gavin was a bit shocked at the state I was in.

"I'm sorry, Gavin, I had a little bit too much fun last night", I was trying to ignore how the lights in the building were brighter than before.

"Did you drink while you were on the clock?" Gavin arched an eyebrow with concern.

Shit. What do I say?! My thoughts began to race through my head.

"Hey, Eli, Gavin!" I heard Monty's voice approach the both of us.

"Oh hey, Monty!" Gavin plastered a smile onto his face.

"What's going on Gavin?" Monty raised a concerned eyebrow.

Monty immediately picked up on my hesitation and stepped in smoothly.

"Relax, Gav. Eli was off-duty when we started the party. No rules broken, just some good ol' fun," Monty said with a casual wave of his clawed hand. His sunglasses hid any expression in his eyes, but there was a sharpness in his voice—just enough to make it sound like there was no need for further questioning.

Gavin didn't look convinced, but he sighed, rubbing his temples. "Alright. Just don't make it a habit. We need guards sharp on the job, not nursing hangovers."

"I swear, it won't happen again," I quickly added, trying not to sound like I was struggling under the Atrium's harsh lights.

Gavin gave me a lingering look but ultimately shook his head and handed me a clipboard. "Fine. You're covering the west side today. Go take over for Matt. He's in the security office."

I nodded and took the clipboard, grateful the conversation was over. As Gavin turned and walked away, I felt a clawed hand grip my wrist and yank me to the side.

Before I could react, Monty dipped his head down and pressed a quick kiss to my lips, the sharp points of his teeth just barely grazing my skin. It was fast, but enough to send a spark through my whole body.

When Monty pulled back, he smirked. "There. That should help with the headache."

I huffed out a quiet laugh, shaking my head. "You're impossible."

"You love it," Monty shot back.

I couldn't even argue with that.

But before I could get lost in the moment, Roxy strolled over, arms crossed. "What's with all the whispering?" she asked, raising a brow at Monty.

"Oh, just savin' Eli's hide," Monty replied smugly.

Roxy smirked. "Figures. You should be thanking us, y'know. We finally got you to loosen up, and you actually had fun."

"Yeah, until I had to wake up with my head splitting in two," I grumbled.

Roxy snorted. "That's how you know it was a good night."

Before I could respond, Gavin's voice cut through the air again. "Monty, Roxy, a word."

The two animatronics stiffened, exchanging a glance before turning to face Gavin, who now had his arms crossed.

I swallowed hard. This was going to be bad. I was hoping it wouldn't be too bad though.

Back To The Present...

The Pizzaplex was a completely different world at night. Without the usual flood of guests, flashing arcade screens, and the constant background noise of chatter and music, the place felt eerily vast. The neon lights still cast their glow, humming softly, reflecting off the polished floors, but everything else was still. Quiet. Almost like it was holding its breath.

And here I was, patrolling like I was supposed to, except I had Monty walking beside me, making it very hard to take the job seriously.

"Y'know, for a security guard, you're real easy to distract," Monty teased, his thick tail swaying behind him as we strolled through the dimly lit hallways near the West Arcade.

I rolled my eyes, nudging him with my elbow. "That's because you keep doing stupid things."

Monty scoffed. "Stupid things? I was showin' you my best air guitar moves back there."

I chuckled. "You looked like you were having a breakdown."

Monty gasped dramatically, placing a clawed hand over his chest. "How dare you insult my art."

I shook my head, grinning, but before I could say anything else, Monty suddenly grabbed my wrist and yanked me toward a side door I hadn't even noticed before.

"Hey—what—" My protest was cut short as the door shut behind us, plunging us into near darkness.

The only light in the room came from a single red emergency bulb in the corner, casting a faint glow over stacks of unused arcade parts, crates, and what looked like old animatronic shells piled haphazardly against the walls. The air smelled like dust and metal, like a place forgotten by time.

I turned to Monty, who still had a grip on my wrist. "Okay, what are we doing in here?"

Monty didn't answer right away. Instead, he slowly let go of me, taking a step back. Even in the dim light, I could see the smug look on his face as he leaned against a crate, arms crossed, tail curling lazily behind him.

Then, he smirked.

"You still owe me a favor, princess."

I felt my face instantly heat up.

Oh. Oh no.

I had completely forgotten about that.

I tried to play it cool, crossing my arms even as my heartbeat picked up. "Uh… that was just a joke, right?"

Monty tilted his head, looking all too pleased with himself. "Nah. I saved your tail last week with Gavin. That means you owe me somethin'."

I swallowed hard. "And… what exactly do you want?"

Monty took a slow step forward, his claws tapping lightly against the metal floor. "Dunno yet," he said, his voice lower now, more teasing. "Guess I'll have to figure that out."

His sharp grin made my stomach flip.

This was so unfair. Monty knew exactly what he was doing, and the worst part was—I didn't mind it. Not one bit.

I sighed dramatically, trying to keep my composure. "Fine. One favor. But if it's anything ridiculous, I'm out."

Monty chuckled, finally closing the last bit of space between us. "Relax, Eli. I ain't gonna make you do somethin' dumb."

I raised an eyebrow. "That's literally all you do."

Monty laughed at that, then reached out and hooked a claw under my chin, tilting my face up just slightly.

"Maybe I just want somethin' simple, Elijah," he mused. "Like another kiss."

I felt my brain short-circuit.

My mouth opened, but nothing came out. The warmth in my face spread down to my chest, and Monty's teasing smirk deepened, clearly enjoying how easy it was to fluster me.

"Y-you're impossible," I muttered.

Monty chuckled. "Yeah, yeah. You love it."

And honestly… yeah, I did. I mean, who wouldn't love their partner? Monty pulled me into an embrace in the storage room. However, it wasn't a normal embrace. He started to feel up my ass. Monty was squeezing my butt as well. I yelped when he first did it, but then I moaned with pleasure as he kept squeezing it.

"M-Monty" I stuttered out while blushing.

"Ya like that princess?" Monty whispered into my ear seductively.

I nodded while still blushing. After a little bit more of this, I noticed something while looking down. There was an outline of something big down by his crotch.

"U-Uh, Monty?" I asked quietly.

"Yes, what is it, princess?" Monty raised an arched eyebrow with curiosity.

"Do you guys have sexual organs like us humans?" I shyly looked up at him.

Monty sighed before smiling softly down at me. "We originally had them when we were first built, we still don't know why either. Scott wanted to keep everything the same when we were rebuilt, plus some more benefits. We all have them except for the S.T.A.F.F. Bots, the Daycare Attendant, and DJ Music Man."

"O-Oh that's cool", I softly smiled back at him.

There was an awkward silence lingering in the air between the two of us in the storage room before I spoke up.

"C-Can I touch it?" I was blushing so hard during our moment.

"Of course, ya can, princess", Monty smirked down at me.

Monty pushed a hidden button on the underside of his right shoulder pad. What popped out was both terrifying and glorious at the same time. There in front of my eyes, there was a giant, green member that was probably like twelve inches or more long! When I touched it and wrapped my hand around it, the member felt fleshy, unlike the rest of him.

"How in the hell can you hide this thing in there?!" I was flabbergasted as I was playing with it.

"Uhhh...It's because...uhhh", Monty couldn't get his sentence out from moaning a lot.

"You like that big guy?" I smirked seductively as I continued.

"Mmmph", Monty nodded while moaning.

The two of us made out very heavily while I kept playing with his member.

BANG!

BANG!

The two of us quickly pulled apart, and Monty pressed the hidden button again and the member retracted back in.

Well, there goes my fun. I groaned in annoyance in my head.

BANG!

That's when my Fazwatch started to ring. It was Roxy.

"Elijah, you have to come back to the lobby now!" Roxy huffed as I picked up the call.

"Okay, I'll be there in a couple of minutes!" I replied and the call ended.

"I don't know if I like this, princess", Monty frowned.

"Me too, big guy, me too", I sighed nervously.

"Race you to the lobby?" Monty smirked with a raised eyebrow.

"You're on!" I chuckled.

Monty and I both darted out of the storage room and raced towards the lobby.

I was almost out of breath by the time we reached the door to Rockstar Row. However, there was something in our way! She didn't notice us though.

"Who is that?" I whispered to Monty as we hid behind the wall that led into Rockstar Row.

"I don't know, princess, but I feel like I knew her in the past", Monty whispered back.

He pulled me close to him, and to be honest, I loved it when he protected me. I've never been protected before The Pizzaplex, which I don't miss at all. Anyway, the lady in front of us wore this very faded white skin bunny suit that looked like it was homemade and stitched together. The suit had this weird and creepy-as-hell smile across its face. Monty's grip on me tightened slightly, his claws resting lightly against my arm. I could feel the tension rolling off him, and for once, I didn't mind. If Monty was on edge, then something was seriously wrong.

The woman in the makeshift bunny suit stood unnervingly still, her head tilted slightly as if she were listening for something. The eerie, stitched-on smile of the mask sent a shiver down my spine. I held my breath, hoping she wouldn't notice us.

"What do we do?" I whispered, barely audible over the distant hum of the Pizzaplex's ambient noise.

Monty didn't respond right away, his glowing eyes fixed on the woman. Then, with a slow, deliberate motion, he pushed me slightly behind him. "We wait," he muttered. "See what she does."

Seconds stretched into what felt like hours. Then, as suddenly as she appeared, the woman turned sharply and walked away, disappearing through a service door that led backstage. The moment the door clicked shut behind her, I exhaled the breath I didn't realize I was holding.

Monty relaxed slightly but still kept me close. "You ever seen her before?"

"No," I said, shaking my head. "But I have a really bad feeling about her."

Monty nodded, his jaw clenching. "Let's move. Fast."

We took off toward the lobby again, this time without the playful competition. My heart pounded as we navigated through the dim corridors, every shadow feeling like it could hide another figure in a creepy homemade suit. The Pizzaplex was supposed to be my safe haven, but for the first time in a long time, I felt like I was being hunted.

As we neared the lobby, Roxy's voice cut through the silence. "Took you long enough!"

She was pacing near the security desk, her ears flicking in agitation. "Roxy, something weird just happened," I started, but she shook her head.

"No time! We have a problem."

Monty crossed his arms. "Bigger than some creepy lady in a bunny suit lurking around?"

Roxy's eyes widened. "What?"

I exchanged a glance with Monty before looking back at Roxy. "Yeah. But first, tell me what's going on here."

Roxy sighed, rubbing her temples. "The cameras are glitching. Whole sections of the Pizzaplex are going dark at random times. And when they come back on…" she hesitated, looking genuinely uneasy. "There's movement. Like someone's there, but there's nothing by the time the cameras stabilize."

A cold feeling settled in my stomach. "You think it's her?"

"I don't know," Roxy admitted. "But something's not right."

Monty growled low in his throat. "Then we find out what's going on. Together."

I nodded, determination settling in. If the Pizzaplex wasn't safe, I needed to make it safe. No matter what it took.

Roxy, Monty, and I started to make our way through the Pizzaplex to try to find Vanny. Every time we saw a glimpse of her or the knife she brandished, she would be gone the second we arrived at that exact spot. We eventually regrouped in the main atrium, where Glamrock Foxy and Freddy were already waiting. The tension in the air was thick as we quickly filled them in on what had happened.

"Vanny," Freddy muttered, his expression darkening. "She's leading us in circles."

"Aye, she's playin' games with us," Foxy growled. "Tryin' to wear us down, keep us chasin' our tails."

The next hour was a frustrating cycle of tracking her through the Pizzaplex, only to end up in dead ends and abandoned storage rooms. Each time we thought we had her, she slipped away. And every time she did, her taunts grew worse.

"Elijah," her voice echoed eerily through the speakers in one of the service tunnels, dripping with mock sweetness. "He really wants you back, you know. Andrew won't stop until he has you. He'll take everything you love, piece by piece."

My breath hitched, and my vision blurred. The walls felt like they were closing in.

"No," I whispered, my hands shaking as I gripped my Fazwatch. I could barely hear Monty and Roxy calling my name over the sound of my own rapid breathing.

"You can't run from him forever," Vanny continued, her voice dancing through the speakers. "You know he's watching, waiting. Damien was just the start. Now he has me too. And soon, he'll have you again."

I couldn't breathe. My legs felt weak, my chest tightening as panic took over. My ears were ringing, and my body was frozen in fear. Andrew. Damien. Vanny. It was too much. Too close.

I can't do this anymore. He's coming back no matter how many times I want to ignore it. I started to have these negative thoughts rushing into my head.

Then, strong arms wrapped around me, pulling me out of my head. Monty. His grip was firm, grounding. "Breathe, princess," he murmured. "Deep breaths. In… out… I got you."

I clung to him, gasping for air, forcing myself to focus on his voice, his presence. After a moment, the panic ebbed just enough for me to regain control.

"Damn her," I choked out, pulling away slightly. "She's messing with me on purpose."

"Aye," Foxy said grimly. "And she's enjoyin' it."

"I won't let anyone get to you, princess. I'm always here," Monty pulled me back into an embrace. I immediately embraced him back. I wanted to cry right there, but we needed to warn the others about Vanny.

Once we were done hugging, our group went to find the other animatronics in the Pizzaplex.

By the time we realized she had vanished entirely from the building, I was exhausted, both mentally and physically. We met up with Glamrock Bonnie, Chica, the Daycare Attendant, and DJ Music Man in the maintenance bay to warn them.

"She's dangerous," I told them. "And she's not alone. She's working with Andrew."

A heavy silence fell over the group. Bonnie frowned, his servos whirring as he crossed his arms. "You sure, sugar?"

"Yes." My voice wavered slightly. "She said he wants me back. That he'll destroy everything I love, and she knew about Damien."

Freddy placed a reassuring hand on my shoulder. "We'll watch the Pizzaplex closely, superstar. She won't catch us off guard again."

I nodded, though unease settled deep in my gut.

"We'll also watch over Gregory and the twins as well. Especially Gregory, from what happened during Christmas", Chica pointed out with concern.

Everyone nodded in agreement because all of us, except for Foxy, had dealt with the incident during the Christmas party. I pulled out my phone and quickly typed out a message to Scarlett:

Do not let Gregory or the twins near the Pizzaplex at night. Andrew's getting worse. I don't want them anywhere near this.

The moment I hit send, I felt a cold certainty settle in. This wasn't over. Not even close.
