This chapter was interesting to write, I have no idea what I'm doing just going with the flow. Also what was it about chapter 1 of this story that had several people ask to make it a comic, I know they're scams but like the heck? Three people, two reviews and one privat message asked about it.

Quebie331 chapter 1 . Dec 24, 2024
This is the first Harry/Tom story that ive read that began like that. Usually its Harry adopts Tom or Tom adopts Harry. Im HOOKED! Plz write more soon. Thx
Me: Yeah the story that inspired this one was the first time I ever read anything like it too.
In the morning, Henrietta went downstairs to the kitchen to make breakfast. One of her hands kept finding its way to her stomach, so she made most of the meal one-handed. She was shocked that she was pregnant. What was she going to do? She was only eleven, going on twelve right now—at least in body. In mind, she was seventeen. It didn't matter how old she was mentally, though. What mattered was that her body was almost twelve, not old enough to have a child.
She could get rid of the baby, but she knew she wouldn't be able to go through with it. All her life, there was one thing she always wished for: a family that loved her. Even if it wasn't the way she wanted things to go, this was her chance to have that family.
She tensed and turned slightly when she heard her Uncle Vernon walk in. To her surprise, he didn't bark at her to hurry up with breakfast like he normally did in the mornings. Instead, he looked at her, noticed where her hand was, and got angry, but for some reason, she had a feeling that, for once, that anger was not directed at her.
"Girl, when you finish breakfast, go pack your things, all of them," he growled while opening his morning paper.
Ria was confused and startled. Was she being kicked out? This didn't happen last time around. She turned back to the food. As she was finishing up, her aunt and cousin walked in. Petunia dished out a plate for herself and Dudley, then, to Henrietta's surprise, she dished up a third plate and handed it to her.
"Eat up, Henrietta. We're going to be busy today," Aunt Petunia said as she sat down.
Henrietta didn't know what was going on, so she just did as she was told. She knew this had something to do with baby Tom, but she couldn't wrap her head around it.
As soon as she finished eating, she went upstairs and packed all of her things into her trunk. When she was almost done, her aunt walked in holding an old-looking box.
Aunt Petunia stared at her for a few seconds before she sighed. "I haven't been the best aunt to you, I'll admit that. We never wanted you here, but..." Her aunt trailed off and frowned before she sighed again. "We never should have treated you the way we have. It isn't normal or right, but please know that despite the way we treated you in the past, we are horrified at what happened at that school of yours."
Henrietta bit her lip and moved her eyes to the floor. Her mind was racing as she went over what she just heard. Her aunt hadn't acted like this in the last timeline. Sure, they had that moment where her aunt treated her okay before they had to go into hiding from Voldemort, but she had never apologized for the way she had treated Ria.
Yet here she was, in this new timeline, apologizing and saying she knew that she and her husband were in the wrong.
"I've held onto this box for a long time. It showed up a week after you arrived," Petunia looked down at the box in her hands. "I almost threw it away, but I couldn't make myself do it. This box contains all I had left of my sister besides you." Henrietta's eyes widened; she had never heard about this box before.
"I refused to go through it, that is, until last night. Last night, I went through everything in this box to find a way to keep you from that awful school, and I think I found it."
Aunt Petunia silently walked over and placed the box in Ria's trunk. "I believe you should keep this. Your mother's diary is inside."
"Why am I packing my stuff?" Henrietta hesitantly asked, wanting to move on from the thought of her mom's diary.
"I'm going to be taking you to Malibu. We'll have to get you some new clothes for the trip."
Henrietta was still super confused and hesitated before speaking up. "Mom and Dad left me money in the bank. I don't know how much there is, but I could go get some and exchange it into pounds."
Petunia felt her blood freeze before she calmed down. "I'll come with you then. We'll see how much you have and then take some for clothes shopping."
Henrietta was surprised her aunt wanted to come with her into the magical world. She didn't know that her aunt didn't want her to be in the magical world alone without her or Vernon.
Petunia called for Vernon and had him take Henrietta's trunk to the car before she and the eleven-year-old took off. Henrietta gave her aunt directions to the Leaky Cauldron. She put on a ball cap that hid her hair and scar before she walked into the building. She saw her aunt scrunch up her face in disgust at the sight of the pub, and Henrietta had to agree with her. The Leaky Cauldron was very dirty; it would have been shut down if it were in the Muggle world.
She grabbed her aunt's hand and led her out the back and into the Alley. Her aunt didn't react much to the bricks moving to let them through, so Henrietta assumed that her aunt had come with her mom to get school supplies at least once.
She led her aunt into the bank and waited in line for a teller for a few minutes until they were called up.
"What do you need?" the goblin behind the desk asked rudely. She saw her aunt bristle, so she spoke up before the older woman could say anything to offend the goblins.
"Hello, I was wondering if I could get an inventory of my accounts and then get some exchanged into pounds?"
"Name of the account?" the goblin asked in a bored voice.
"Henrietta Potter," she spoke softly so she wasn't heard by anyone but the goblin.
The goblin raised an eyebrow before calling out in a rough-sounding language. He must have been calling for someone, because a younger-looking goblin came running up and led them through the bank. The group of three stopped in front of a door with a plaque on it.
Henrietta looked at the plaque and read what it said.
'Account Manager Grinlast, Manager of Potter'
Henrietta heard her aunt gulp as the two walked into the office.
The goblin behind the desk looked up at the two women. "You are Heir Potter?" he inquired.
She nodded. "Um, I'm Henrietta Potter, yes. I just wanted to know how much money I have."
The goblin, whom she assumed was Grinlast, nodded. "I understand. Would you prefer to inquire solely about the Potter account, or would you like to undergo a blood test to determine if you are entitled to any additional inheritances?"
Henrietta glanced at her aunt hesitantly. Petunia spoke up, seeing her niece's hesitation. "What would a blood test require, and how much would it cost her?"
Grinlast gave a sharp smile. "I find you quite pleasant. Unlike most humans I encounter, you are not a fool. The blood test will require five drops of blood and will cost five galleons."
Petunia glanced at Henrietta. "Well, it's your choice, Henrietta."
Ria looked up at her aunt before looking at the goblin. "I'll take the blood test, please."
Half an hour later, the goblin race was in an uproar at the results of her blood test.

Henrietta and Petunia sat and listened as a goblin named Karlast explained that the goblin nation could freeze Henrietta's pregnancy, but it was dangerous to do for too long, so during holidays, the pregnancy would be unfrozen.
"So, I would be giving birth when I'm seventeen?" Henrietta asked, relief clear in her voice.
Karlast nodded. "Yes, around that time."
Petunia spoke up. "Her biological father isn't aware she exists. He's non-magical like me. I was going to take her to meet him. He lives in the States—will this be a problem?"
"No. Gringotts has banks all over the world. We can easily do this at any one of them."
"What about the Muggles? They'll notice that I'm pregnant and not giving birth eventually," Henrietta asked, her voice soft.
"We can give you a charmed necklace to hide the pregnancy from everyone. It's not good for the baby to wear it full-time, but for the short time you will be in public, it should be fine," Karlast said, while sending a young goblin to grab the necklace.
Ria relaxed slightly. "And what about the potions and the binds on my magic?"
"With the baby, it will be risky if we take them all off at once, so we will have to take a bit off each holiday when we unfreeze the child. We could take the hatred potions out first if you wish?"
Henrietta nodded quickly and was soon whisked away while Petunia spoke with Karlast more about the hatred potions. She felt relief and shock when she found out that these potions were part of the reason why she and her family had treated Henrietta the way they had. It didn't excuse any of it, but it felt slightly better to know it wasn't entirely their fault.
