Bell quickly walked forward and picked up the potion. He spared only a glance to Keaks's corpse. The man's head was split open like a watermelon. Anything that would have resembled his face was gone. Ground into a smeared paste of flesh on the floor.

Exactly like Hashana had been.

Bell turned and raced back to Asfi. Taking her in his arms as he bit the cork of the potion off and spit it away.

"I don't have time to heal you. That bought us five, maybe seven seconds-

The man gracefully landed right next to them. Somehow his deer skull mask stayed on. Bell clicked his tongue as he handed the potion to Asfi and stood.

It had only been four seconds.

"The one blessed by Caduceus. I had hoped to isolate you first before I killed you. But you coming to me does the trick just as well." The man said.

Bell glared at the man as he unsheathed his knife. Holding it in front of him as he adjusted his stance.

"Keaks was my friend," Bell growled.

"And he died all the same." The man responded. "Ugh, you Caduceus spawn are always such a pain to deal with."

Bell took a moment to think and glanced around the pantry. "The red-haired woman, she's here. Isn't she?"

The man shrugged. "She's preoccupied with another matter. Left me the painstaking job of killing you. Ugh, I really hate your kind. The last one I tried to kill was way too much trouble."

Bell's eyes narrowed as anger thrummed in his veins. "What?" He growled.

The man tilted his head. "The Battle Ax. Surely you've heard of her. She's famous even today. I do wonder where she ran off to, I'd love to see how she'd fare against me now."

Bell took in the man's words slowly. Time seemed to slow to a crawl as they were processed.

'He threatened Rose.' Bell thought. The grip on his dagger tightened as the thought ran through his mind again. 'He threatened Rose.'

"But after her familia died she ran away with her tail between her legs." He ran a hand through his hair. "Such a shame, guess I'll just have to settle for you."

Bell swallowed hard, he knew what this man meant. He was going to try and kill him. Not injure or maim.

Kill.

His palms grew sweaty and his heart raced. He knew sooner or later he'd have to fight someone who wanted his head. But the question Bell asked himself...could he kill him?

Could he will himself to kill the man right in front of him?

Bell looked into the man's eyes. Seeing nothing but boredom and malice. This all seemed to be a big chore to him. He'd kill Bell without a second thought.

But Bell didn't know if he could do the same.

'He wants to kill Rose.'

He killed Keaks, nearly killed Asfi, was going to kill Asfi. Bell shouldn't be hesitating. But he was, and the man picked up on this.

"Are you scared, Caduceus spawn?" He asked.

Bell swallowed the lump in his throat. Sweat pouring down his face as he took his stance. Knife raised and at the ready.

"No." He croaked out. Though he didn't believe the words.

"You will be."

The man thrusted forward with Asfi's dagger. Bell moved his head and thrusted forward with his own.

The blades clashed and sparks flew. Bell pulled back and aimed for the man's chest. Only for his blade to be batted aside by the man.

Bell dodged another swipe before raising his leg and kicking the man in the ribs. The man stumbled in surprise as Bell thrusted again.

Asfi's blade met his. Veering his blade off course. Bell didn't wince as her blade marked his cheek.

He jumped back and raised his arm. Her dagger scrapped across his gauntlet leaving a scratch.

Bell raised his leg and kicked the man back. Turning on his healing magic to heal the cut on his face.

The man just clicked his tongue. "See what I mean. Just healed what I did to you."

Bell wasted no time and slashed again. This time the man didn't dodge. He let Bell's blade slash down his chest. Opening a shallow gash that bled.

Only for the man to close the wound a second later.

"What?!" Bell breathed out.

"Did you think you were the only one who could regenerate?" The man asked. Tilting his head as a yawn escaped his lips. "You're not the only one blessed with divine gifts."

The man flicked his wrist and Bell ducked. Asfi's blade flying over his head harmlessly. Bell thrusted forward and buried his blade deep in the man's chest.

Not even a grunt was let out as Bell withdrew and the wound closed. A fresh wave of fear coursed through him as he stood.

This man could heal as well. But his healing didn't seem to be magic like his. Was it a skill? Or a development ability? What was the extent to which he could heal?

Bell didn't know any of this. He didn't know what to do, he was scared. All he knew was that this fight now boiled down to one thing.

The winner would be determined by whose regeneration taps out first.

.

.

.

.

Bell grimaced as he and the man circled each other. Knives at the ready waiting for the other to make the first move. He and Bell were roughly the same height. But the man moved faster and was a higher level than Bell.

The boy glanced at Asfi whose hands were shaking bringing the potion to her lips. A much higher level than him. But Bell was used to fighting people stronger than him.

A shaky inhale signaled the fight to begin again. The man thrusted Asfi's dagger at his eye. Bell swatted the dagger aside, feeling a rush of strength as he slashed at the man's neck.

His hand was swatted aside also. But Bell used the closeness to knee the man in the side. It did nothing, but it made Bell feel like he was actually doing something.

Bell ducked under another swipe. He didn't dodge the man's other fist that punched him in the nose. He stumbled back and wiped the blood from his nose.

The man was already rushing towards him. Bell sidestepped and kicked the man in the knee. The bone didn't break, Bell didn't even feel it creak.

But the man fell face first. And Bell grew a horrified look on his face as he felt scales.

"Y-your legs aren't human?" He breathed out.

The man stood up. "You found that out from a single kick?" He took delight in seeing Bell's horrified face. "Well, you are a doctor after all."

"W-what the h-hell are you?"

"Something so much more. Something so much better than a human."

Better than a human? What did that mean? Was this man not human? No that was impossible, he looked like a human. Talked like a human, walked like a human. Yet he wasn't human.

Bell felt his chest begin to grow tight. His breathing became shallow and sharp. His mind racing and running. Leaving him scared and confused.

The man smirked upon seeing this. "I told you you would be scared."

He slashed at Bell's neck. On pure instinct, the boy dodged. Rose's training being so deeply ingrained into his subconscious that it was almost supernatural.

The man clicked his tongue before cracking his fist across Bell's jaw. Bell felt his jaw break as he was sent flying away. Rolling on the ground and right in front of Asfi.

The man took his time with Bell. Savoring the look of despair as the boy pulled himself up. Snapping his jaw back into place with his magic making a sickening pop.

The boy was terrified. That much was clear to anyone who looked at him. And yet the boy still stood his ground. Knife raised and hand shaking he stood.

'Breathe Bell, catch your breath. Slow your breathing. Remember your training. Think of a way to win.'

He tried to. But the man was already in front of him. Asfi's dagger raised high as he swung down.

Bell stepped to the side. Watching as the blade flew by harmlessly. His hand shot out, grabbing the other man's arm and twisting it before wrapping his arm around the joint and locking it.

His dagger came up to the man's throat and pressed against it. Time seemed to slow to a crawl as he hesitated. All he needed to do was push down further and his blade would sink in.

But he couldn't.

"D-do you yield?" Bell asked.

"No." The man replied.

He reeled his head back and slammed the dear skull into Bell's nose. Pulling his arm free and raising his hand. Then with a mere flick of Asfi's dagger. He slit Bell's throat.

The flesh parted like a fabled sea and blood spurted from the wound as Bell's magic flickered off and he struggled to breathe.

Asfi could only watch in horror, as a boy no older than sixteen grabbed his throat. Trying in vain to close the wound on his throat. Eyes wide with the fear of death.

His knees gave out from under him and Bell dropped to them. Before tilting and falling on his side. Hand still grasping his throat trying in vain to breathe.

"And just like that the juvenile dies. What a pitiful use of Caduceus's blessing you used. Barely enough magic to last you five minutes. How pathetic, choke on your own blood and die." The man spat.

He turned and left the boy. Hearing the gasps get weaker and weaker as he approached Asfi. Tears stung her eyes knowing it was her dagger that killed him. Wielded by a madman who had killed Bell in less than two minutes.

"Don't worry Perseus, you won't feel guilty for long." The man said.

Asfi watched as Bell stopped moving. Tearing her gaze off him as she could no longer bear to see the child's corpse.

"Despair and die well Perseus."

The man flipped the dagger and aimed down at Asfi. She tried to drink the potion. To get up and do something. But her hands were shaking too much to be of any use.

The dagger came down. And a scream tore out through the pantry.

.

.

.

.

Asfi's eyes shot open as she saw Bell's dagger cleave the man's hand from his wrist. Her dagger and his hand dropping to the ground.

"HOW?!!"

Bell didn't respond as he drove his dagger into the man's gut. The blade disappearing inside his intestines as Bell pushed forward.

The two of them shuffled forward. Bell let out a battle cry as he pushed the man to the edge of the cliff. Disappearing over the edge a second later.

Asfi remained frozen, her eyes gazing at her dagger and the man's hand. That's when it all clicked inside her brilliant mind.

'He faked it, he faked dying.' She realized.

The thought of that greatly unnerved her. Bell looked like he was seconds away from a panic attack. Yet he was able to formulate that plan the second his throat was slit. Gambling with death just to be able to disarm him.

That's when it hit Asfi how desperate Bell was. And that's when she pushed the potion up to her lips. Despite how shaky her hands were. She pushed on, until finally. Finally, she got the potion to her lips, and chugged it down.

Knowing that Keaks's sacrifice was not in vain. Bell had helped him reach her.

.

.

.

.

Bell and the man tumbled down the cliff. Hitting rock after rock as the battle raged below them. Bones broke and heads were cracked open. Until finally the two landed on the ground below.

Bell's knife having wretched free from the man's stomach as he landed some feet away from him. Blood poured down his face, getting into his eyes and tinging his vision with red.

He turned his healing magic back on. Healing his broken bones and spilt temple. In front of him, he could see the man healing as well. Pushing himself up as his wounds closed.

Rose's words kept running through his head. Sometimes you have to go from a healer to a fighter. But there was one more part to that saying.

Sometimes you have to go from a healer to a fighter, and sometimes from fighter to hero.

'This was one of those moments.' Bell thought. He was fighting someone so beyond him. Not at the level of the red-haired woman. But still strong nonetheless. If Bell didn't have his healing magic he would've been long dead by now. The same went for his dagger

"HOW!?" The man yelled. "HOW THE HELL ARE YOU STILL ALIVE!? I KILLED YOU! YOUR MAGIC FAILED!"

"If you truly think my mana pool was that meager." Bell trailed off pushing himself to his feet. "Then you are sorely mistaken."

The man stood and spit blood out of his mouth. "Bah! It doesn't matter! You can't survive getting your head ripped off!"

Bell finished healing as he felt a new wave of anger flow through his veins. This man killed Keaks, he almost killed Asfi. He had nearly killed him. And he wanted to kill Rose.

Bell wouldn't let the bastard get anywhere close to her.

"Come and take it!" He growled.

The two ran at each other. Mostly healed and impacting a second later. Bell swung his dagger down and cut open the man's chest. The man punched Bell in the side making his ribs break.

Both wounds were healed instantly as they pulled back. Bell slashed at his other hand. The man pulled back and kicked Bell in the side.

He stumbled and elbowed the man in the nose. Reaching out and grabbing his long white hair. He raised his knee and slammed it into the man's nose.

The thing broke against his armor. Painting the orange scales with red. The man growled before headbutting Bell again.

Bell stumbled back, pressing up against a wall as more anger surged out. Bell ducked and dodged the man's fist. A cracked crater formed in the wall behind him. Bell pushed forward, slashing twice against the man's stomach before flipping his knife and stabbing him in the gut.

He let out a yell as he pushed forward and then yanked the dagger out of the man's belly. Blood coated the blade and floor, but the man didn't care as he roundhouse kicked Bell in the head.

Bell felt dazed for a second before his magic healed the damage. Ducking under another kick and severing the man's Achilles tendon.

He barreled forward and shoulder-tackled the man. Leading to him landing on his back. Bell jumped forward, knife raised.

But the man kicked him away. Breaking more bones and sending him skidding away. Bell healed the damage and slammed his fist into the ground.

He stood and was punched in the jaw. Causing him to drop his knife as it broke. Bel fixed the damage and punched the man back.

Causing his head to jerk down to the side. Before raising his knee and cracking it against the man's nose.

The man punched Bell's side. Chestplate creaking under the blow but it held. It had a melting point of 4,000 degrees. It would hold under this punishment.

More punches meant more broken bones and Bell was sent flying up. The man jumped and followed delivering an axe kick to Bell's stomach sending him back down.

Bell landed and formed a crater in the ground. His back, neck, and hip breaking upon impact. But he didn't care, it didn't hurt. Pain meant nothing to him with Rose's life at risk.

Bell quickly put himself back together. Standing up and getting a knee to the face. His nose broke once more but Bell caught the knee before it could retract.

He pushed up and the man lost his balance leading Bell to get atop him. Fist after fist rained down on the man's head. The force of which caused the ground to shake as the man's head was buried further into the stone.

The man's hand shot out. Having fully regrown and catching Bell's with ease. He twisted his hand slightly and Bell's wrist snapped.

Bell didn't feel anything but air rushing through his hair as he was kicked off. Landing on the ground and sliding to a stop.

He immediately got back up. Wrist already fixed as the two glared at each other.

"Fucks sake!" The man groaned. "YOU CADUCEUS SPAWN ARE SUCH A PAIN IN THE ASS!"

He rushed forward, eyes blazing with fury. Bell grabbed a boulder and ripped it out of the ground. Before spinning and throwing it at the charging man.

It slammed into the man at breakneck speeds. Shattering against his skin but that didn't stop his charge.

He jumped and swung down at Bell. But the boy ducked forward and shoulder-locked the man. Slamming him down onto the hard stone a second later.

The man moved his leg to Bell's stomach and kicked him off. Sending the boy flying back to where he was previously.

Sweat poured down his head and was soaking his shirt. Dried blood caked his forehead, face, and scalp. But when it came to the other man there were no injuries to be seen.

The man scowled as he pushed himself up. Spitting on the ground before leaving another glare at Bell. The two didn't say another word before running at each other again.

Bell raised his fist and cracked down against the man's jaw. The man responded with a punch to his side before grabbing his head and slamming his knee into it.

Bell's nose broke for the umpteenth time in this fight. Quickly repaired as another fist broke his jaw.

The man then spun around and kicked Bell off the cliff. Just as the wall to the pantry exploded open. Revealing a werewolf and two elves to everyone else.

.

.

.

.

Bete surveyed the scene in the pantry. Weird people in robes, those plant monsters he had encountered in the sewers. Asfi and the Hermes familia in a fight for their life against both.

The air reeked of blood and charred flesh. Yet the scent of a heavy battle hung heavy in the air as Bete turned his gaze to the shirtless man.

A haggard-looking appearance with his body glistening with sweat and his hair messy and matted.

He glanced back at his elven companions. One an orange honey-colored-haired elf named Lefiya. The other a black-haired elf named Filvis.

"Hey," Bete called out to Lefiya. "I'll buy you some time. Take out every last one of them."

The man waved his hand and dozens of Violas rushed to them. But Bete killed them all in less than a few seconds. Before arriving in the middle of the zealot's formation.

"What the?" Falgar said.

"Are they allies?" Lulune asked.

The zealots' eyes widened in fear and they went to hit their det packs. But Bete was too fast for them and killed them before they had a chance.

'So fast!' Asfi thought to herself. 'He took them down before they could blow themselves up.'

"Too slow." Bete clicked his tongue.

The Hermes familia could only stare in shock. Before the hairs on the back of Meryl's neck stood up on end. Her head whipped around to where Lefiya was standing. Feeling an immense magical pressure emanating from her body.

"Everyone get down!" She yelled.

They didn't need to be told twice as the Hermes familia hit the deck right when Lefyia's spell finished chanting.

To Meryl, Lefiya's magic looked like a dragon spreading its wings. A golden like so blinding and pure it shook her to her core.

A second later dozens of yellow beams of light pelted the battlefield. Raining hellfire down on the Violas and Zealots alike.

Once the barrage was over Lefiya panted. Surveying the destruction she had wrought before a voice called out to her.

"LEFIYA!" Lulune yelled, waving her hand.

Lefiya's eyes widened in recognition upon seeing Lulune. The two having met in Rivera just before the battle had started.

She jumped down from her hole in the wall. Gracefully slipping down rocks until landing on the ground. Filvis close behind her and sticking to her like a sworn shield.

"What are you doing here-" She went to ask before Bete cut her off. Roughly grabbing Lulune's collar.

"Hey! Is Ais here or not?!" He demanded.

Lulune broke out into a cold sweat upon the werewolf's gaze. "S-she was with us a while back. B-b-but we were separated."

"Separated huh?"

Lulune quickly nodded. "Yeah, but please help us." She pointed to the shirtless man standing at the top of the cliff. "Everything that's wrong with this pantry and all these weird monsters is his fault. Bell was fighting him earlier, but he disappeared right before you showed up."

Bete dropped Lulune as his cold hard eyes turned to the man. Who stood at the top of the cliff with his arms crossed looking calm. But Bete could see his muscles slightly twitching in anger.

"Bete?" Lefiya called out.

The werewolf just clicked his tongue. "What a pain. I come looking for Ais and I end up in some stupid novel that dumb Amazon would read."

He fully turned and faced the man. Tensing his legs as he got ready to jump. "Setting Ais aside for now. This guy looks rightly pissed."

Without another thought, Bete jumped forward at lightning speeds. That's when Lefiya noticed another column of Zealots approaching them.

"You guys support him. We can take care of the Zealots." Asfi said. Her voice filled with confidence even as her eyes scanned the battlefield for Bell.

Lefiya and Filvis nodded, running after Bete as the werewolf charged the man. The man just raised his arm and sent Violas after Bete. His eyes scanning for where Bell could've disappeared to.

'Little bastard is sneaky.' The man thought.

Bete unsheathed his short swords and cut through the Violas like a hot knife through butter.

"Your tricks don't work on me!!" He roared.

The man clicked his tongue. "Don't you stupid adventurers know when to quit?!"

Bete reached the man and slashed forward. The man ducked and dodged before shooting up and taking a swipe at Bete.

Bete quickly spun around and aimed a kick at the man's face. The man raised his hand up just in time to block the kick before both went skidding back.

'Tsk, this one's fast.' The man thought.

'Bastard sure can take a hit.' Bete mused.

The two stared each other down. Before a smile appeared on the man's face.

"Yes, I recognize you. Vanaguard, Loki familia. Come looking for your precious Sword Princess?" He sneered.

"The hell did you do with Ais!" Bete growled.

"Me? Oh, I did nothing. My associate on the other hand...well it's safe to say your precious Sword Princess has lost a limb or two by now."

Bete shot forward and slashed down the man's arms and stomach. The man's eyes widened in surprise.

'He's gotten even faster!?'

"You're gonna die now," Bete stated.

.

.

.

.

Lefiya and Filvis watched with wide eyes as Bete and the mysterious man exchanged blows. The weight and feel of them rang out even though the two were far away.

"They're moving too fast for me to aim." Lefiya shakily said.

"First tiers really are another level," Filvis added.

Loki familia was one of Orario's strongest familias. Lefiya didn't know the truth as to why. So she thought their strength was well-earned and absolute. Seeing Bete as a pinnacle of strength she knew she couldn't catch up to.

So how was this mysterious man keeping pace with Bete during their fight? Bete was faster but the masked man had abnormally sound defenses and attack power.

Lefiya couldn't help but draw similarities to the red-haired woman she had encountered with Ais in Rivera.

"Violas!" The man yelled.

Multiple Violas birthed from the roof causing Bete to look up. This momentary lack of focus caused a boot to meet his gut and sent him flying back.

The Violas landed in front of Bete and slithered forward. He brought his arms up to defend himself as vines slammed all around him.

"Damn you bastards!" He grunted.

Lefiya didn't waste a second and raised her wand. "Filvis, please cover me."

The dark-haired elf nodded and began chanting. Knowing the Voilas were drawn to magic.

The plants turned away from Bete and started making their way to Lefiya. Filvis stood ready with her short sword as the chant continued.

"IGNORE THE ELF, FOCUS ON THE WEREWOLF!" The man ordered.

The Violas turned away from Lefiya and back to Bete. Lefiya's eyes widened but she didn't stop chanting. Filvis let a grunt escape her throat as she ran forward. Chanting as she did so having mastered concurrent chanting.

She sliced the head off one Viola before sliding to a stop and raising her hand. Aiming at the man who stood still amongst the battle as the Violas danced and Betw dodged.

"Dio Thyrsos!" She chanted.

"YOU IDIOT!!" Bete yelled.

The man raised his hand and split the spell in two. Filvis's eyes widened as the man started to barrel-rush her. His snarling face pushed over her spell as he reached for her.

"So weak!" He growled.

His hands were like claws as they swiped down and Filvis readied herself for the inevitable blow. But she was harshly tackled out of the way and onto the ground by a mass of muscle. Avoiding the man's attack and allowing Bete to kick him away.

Filvis's eyes opened feeling blood drip on her cheek. On top of her with three lines going down his cheek was a boy she didn't know. Hair as white as snow and red eyes like her.

A strange green glow emanated from his body. Sealing the cuts as he helped her up. She wanted to stab him for touching her. But now wasn't the time nor did she have a good reason for doing so.

"You injured?" He asked.

Filvis shook her head watching in awe as the cuts fully healed. "No, I'm fine."

"Good." The boy said before turning and running back to the fight.

The man's back was turned to him. Too focused on his fight was Bete to notice him. The boy took this opportunity to raise his black-bladed dagger and drag down the man's back.

He let out a scream of pain before backhanding the boy away with so much force Filvis thought his neck snapped and his head would tear off.

The boy flew away, being caught by Bete before he hit the ground head-first. That same green glow from before surrounding his body and snapping his jaw back into place with a sickening pop.

Filvis couldn't help but wonder who this boy was. But hearing Lefiya still chanting, she let go of the thought and made her way back to her friend.

.

.

.

.

Bete set Bell on his feet. A grimace painting his face hearing Bell's jaw pop back into place. He glanced back at the man, noting a look of fury in his eyes seeing Bell.

Bete didn't know why, but he knew that Bell was only a level two. Not cut out for a battlefield like this.

"Run along bottom feeder. This fight isn't meant for someone like you."

"Shut up," Bell replied, raising his knife. "I've been the one holding him off while you've taken your sweet time getting here." He spat.

Bete raised a brow in surprise. But quickly wiped it off his face. "Now is not the time for a minnow like you to get involved. Run off with the other weaklings against those robed guys."

Bell firmly shook his head. "I already told you I'm not leaving. I know way more about this guy than you do, and I'm not running away from him now."

Bete just clicked his tongue and shook his head. "Damn, weaklings! Fine, you wanna stay?! Don't say I didn't warn you!"

Bete ran forward leaving Bell in the dust. But the boy was behind him, keeping pace a dozen yards back.

Bete jumped up and delivered a high kick to the man's head. The man blocked and Bell went under and stabbed him in the gut.

The man growled as he slapped Bell away. His wound healed as Bell rolled. The boy got back up as Bete delivered a slash to his arm. Jumping back and avoiding a swipe from the man's hand.

Bell came up behind but the man dodged his attack and grabbed him by the face. He threw Bell at Bete who stuck his hands out.

Bell's hand shot out and corrected himself midair. Allowing his feet to touch Bete's hand who then threw him like a ball.

Bell shot forward like a missile. Driving his blade into the man's chest fully stopping his momentum. A deep cut opened as the man went flying forward. The sudden impact knocked him off balance.

Bete didn't waste this chance as he ran forward. Dodging the Violas that had rejoined the fight and seemed to only focus on him.

He delivered a strong kick to the man's jaw as Bell followed suit with a cut to his stomach. The man roared in fury as the Violas landed all around them.

Causing them to jump back and avoid the attacks. Bell had jumped back too far and nearly fell off the cliff. But Bete grabbed him and threw him at the man once more.

Bell delivered a double kick to the man's head. Sliding in his back as he landed while Bete aimed to slit his throat.

The man caught Bete's short swords. Caking his blade in blood as the man reeled back a fist and punched Bete square in the gut.

The air exited the wolf's lung and before the man could knee Bete in the face Bell grabbed the man's hair and threw him away.

Bete caught his breath and stood. Looking over to Lefiya and shouting. "THE HELL ARE YOU WAITING FOR!? DO IT ALREADY!"

Lefiya's face turned from worry to determination as her eyes hardened. She finished her chant.

"ARCS RAY!"

A single beak of golden light flew toward the man who quickly stood and raised his hand. "Know your place, adventurer scum!"

The beam of light never reached the man. As it veered off course and hit Bete's boots. Bell was about to jump away from the werewolf. Wondering how idiotic Lefiya had to be to blast her own teammate.

But then his eyes widened seeing Bete's boots absorbing the spell. Bete shot forward and reeled his foot back. Boots glowing brightly like the sun as he smirked.

"Now that's what I'm talking about."

His boot slammed into the man's head and a massive explosion erupted in the pantry making the walls and ground shake. Smoke filled the air and the sounds of battle were drowned out as the man went flying back and hit a wall.

The deer skull mask cracking and then breaking from the force of the impact. Some members of the Hermes familia broke off to get Keak's body. And Asfi fell to her knees and grabbed her side. Bell wanted to go to her, to heal her, and to make sure she lived.

But there was a terrible gnawing feeling in the back of his head. Something told him this fight wasn't over yet. And that he needed to stay right where he was.

"Did you get him?" Filvis asked, squinting through the dust. Unable to see anything through it.

"Well, I aimed to kill the bastard." Bete began. His gaze turned to Bell before he spoke again. "But the son of a bitch regenerates like this one right here."

Bell's eyes widened when Bete said that. "No, he doesn't. His regeneration isn't magic...and he's not fully human."

The hairs on Lefiya's neck stood on end as her head snapped to where the man possibly laid. Bete clicked his tongue as the smoke cleared.

Leaving the man standing proudly with a smirk. "That was a nice try. But those bodies who are blessed by her love don't break so easily."

The wounds that littered the man's body began to close and steam. Leaving everyone there shocked that he survived such an attack.

But what Bell was focused on. Despite the gasps of recognition from everyone there. Were the two human-like legs, covered in blue and turquoise scales? Completely unharmed from the spell at all.

Well, I think this is a good place to end it. I feel like Bell's fight against Olivas was somewhat believable. I mean it's basically two immovable objects beating the ever-loving shit out of each other.

But it's also different from when Bell fought Revis since he has armor and a weapon that doesn't break this time. Plus Bell's hits weren't really doing much besides the cuts and broken nose he gave. While every time Olivas hit him something broke.

Anyway, I hope you liked the knife fight. I mainly got inspiration for it from Dune Part Two. Oh and since Bell used Medical Berserker a lot here. It activates subconsciously when he gets angry in case you were wondering. But it's somewhat like Finn's Hell Finnegas. A massive boost in power except he doesn't lose his sense of reason and the longer he's angry the more damage he can do.

Kind of like Berserkers from games that feature Vikings. It's something akin to that but fantasy-like.

Anyway, I think that's enough talking for now. Pretty much just one big fight and reinforcements showing up. Oh and let me know what you think of Bell and Bete's brief tag-team.

But that's all I have to say. So I hope you enjoyed and I'll see you all later.
