"Hey Nagisa" Hinano said as she approached her boyfriend, who was reading the latest issue of Wolverine, only to stop and kiss her on the nose; making the redhead giggle
"Hey babe how are you?" he asked smiling as he placed the comic down and stood up to hug her.
"I'm good, but I have something to ask you" she said unsure of what he would say. Nagisa on the other hand nodded
"What is it" Nagisa replied
"You free tonight?" Hinano asked
"I can be" Nagisa told her
"Okay, because a couple of my friends that you don't know about wants to meet you" Hinano blushed, suddenly becoming
"Okay" Nagisa said kissed her again. "So who are they?"
"I'll tell you later. Oh; their partners will be there as well" Hinano told him
"Okay babe, so what time?" he asked
"I'll tell you later. But we'll meet at Grind Finale"
"Okay" Nagisa frown, suddenly finding Hinano a bit cryptic to be unnerving.
Around 6 that night Nagisa was waiting at his usual spot of the Grind Finale waiting for the girl he calls his girlfriend.
"Oh! There you are;" Hinano said walking up wearing a dark red strapless dress with a white Crop jacket. Nagisa was wearing his usual white shirt, blue vest and grey jeans.
"Hey honey; wow, you look good" Nagisa admired her.
"Thank you" Hinano said doing a twirl before her phone buzzed "oh she's almost here"
"Who?" Nagisa asked frowning
"My first friend, you'll meet" Hinano said as a limo pulled up
"Oh Hinano; there you are" a girl with silky black hair, wearing a pink blouse, black jeans and pink and black skate shoes.
"Momo! Good to see you" Hinano hugged her friends
"Oh you must be Nagisa" Momo said
"Hi, yeah I am Nagisa, so may I ask how you and Hinano know each other?" he asked
"We went to the same preschool together, and we regularly play online together" Hinano said
"oh" Nagisa said as a guy with green hair got out. Nagisa knew who that was straight away "Damn man, I didn't think I would meet you" Nagisa shook his hand
"Yeah, nice to meet you I'm Izuku Midoriya" the guy said "So I take it you read my webcomic?"
"Yeah, it's one of my favourite indie comics online!" Nagisa exclaimed
"Oh wow" the girl said
"Anyway; we don't want to be late in meeting him" Momo said
"Fine, but he better not serve anything weird" Hinano said shivering a bit
"Oh, don't worry! I've been assured he won't" Momo smiled
"Because I still remember the peanut butter, sardine and pickle plum riceballs he made" Hinano blanched
"Who is this guy?" the two guys said looking at their girlfriends.
"Oh; did you know he's got a partner now?" Momo asked
"HE DOES!" Hinano exclaimed as they got in the car.
An hour later the group walked down a shopping district.
"So where are we?" Nagisa asked
"The Sumire Shopping district, where we will be having dinner at the most popular dinner in the district. And we have it to ourselves" Momo told them
"I heard about this place, it was open by an elite chef right?" Izuku asked
"Yeah Joichiro Saiba I believe is his name. But he goes by Joichiro Yukihira" Momo said
"Oh, I didn't know that" Hinano said
"Yeah; well here we are" Momo knocked on a door. The two couples waited as they heard the door opened
"Welcome to Yukihira's" a girl with dark fuchsia hair; wearing a pale blue shoulder jumper, blue jeans and white sneakers greeted them
"Oh! You must be his girlfriend Ryoko" Momo smiled
"I am, and you guys must be Momo, Hinano, Nagisa and Izuku" Ryoko smiled.
"We are" Momo said smiling.
"Then come in" Ryoko smiled as she moved to the side letting the four in and were hit with a wall of delicious scents.
"Whoa" They all gasped
"Oh, hey Momo, Hinano" a guy in a chef's uniform was standing behind a counter as he was cooking something
"So what are we having tonight?" Momo asked
"Either way it smells good" Hinano drooled
"So you play with Souma online?" Nagisa asked, wiping some of the drool away
"Yeah we do" Momo said as she took a seat
"And you guys?" Souma asked
"I play games, but I'm more of a story first gamer" Nagsia said
"And yet you still look up the female characters from Marvel Rivals" Hinano muttered
"Like you don't look at the guys" Nagsia smirked
"That's a great game" Souma smirked "I'm mostly a Jeff user"
"No way" the group said
"So...what are you making? Hinano asked
"Oh! A special fried rice with slow roasted lamb shanks with a mint and peppercorn gravy" Souma said making the group's mouth water.
"That sounds great" Momo said
"So how do you guys actually meet?" Nagisa asked
"Like Momo said before we went to the same preschool together" Hinano said.
"And then after that I went to a prep school in the north, Hinano went to Kunugigaoka, and Souma here" Momo said
"Is a proud student of Totsuki Culinary Academy" Souma smirked.
"That's a pretty big school to get into" Nagsia said
"Yeah, but we managed. Though Souma joined during high school while I went in from middle school." Ryoko said
"Ryoko Sakakai, any connection with the Sakai Kojo group?"
"Yeah that's my family" Ryoko said as she chopped some of the mint and slid it into a small pot of lamb stock , she then crushed the peppercorns "Oh Souma do you think you can?" Ryoko asked
"Already done" Souma said as he slid a bowl over with something that he the group couldn't see.
"So how did you two meet?" Momo asked
"Oh, it was a rather cliché meeting. We walked into each other while we were checking out the newest comics we got." Nagisa said
"After that we pretended to be a couple" Hinano said
"You're joking" Souma asked shocked
"Nope" Hinano said "And then during the summer we made our relationship official and hen after that we've been together since"
"That's sweet" Ryoko said "And you and Momo, Izuku?"
"We go to UA together. One day I was down at the skate rink people watching to try and get a new idea for my webcomic when I saw her down there, practicing her skateboarding"
"You skate?" Ryoko asked stirring the stock.
"Every now and then, My mum' an athlete as well, so I thought I would try my hand at a extreme sport. Which lead me to meeting Izuku once I discovered that he was drawing me. After that we met up there regularly when we weren't in class. Soon he asked me out and that is that" Momo said
"And now you and Ryoko, Souma?" Hinano asked
"Nothing special to tell, we just grew an attraction together each other and eventually we just started dating" Ryoko said
"Man that smells good" Nagisa said
"So shall we play a game of cards while we wait for the lamb to cook?" Ryoko asked
"No" Hinano said
"Why not?" Momo asked
"Is there a reason?" Izuku asked
"Him" Hinno indicated to Nagisa
"Why?" Momo asked
"Is he that good?" Souma asked as he check the lamb.
"He's a part of the Shiota Clan. Which means like the rest of his clan he's got unbelievable luck" Hinano said in a deadpan manner; making Nagisa sweat drop
"Wait, wait, wait he's a member of that Shiota clan?" Ryoko asked
"Yeah he is" Hinano said
"I haven't heard of any members of the Shiota Clan living outside of Kyoto" Momo said
"I'm the only one" Nagisa shrugged
"Incredible, my father has done business with them" Momo smiled
"And my dad cooked at a few of their celebrations" Souma said
"I didn't think we were that well known" Nagisa said "Though possibly because I haven't been around there in a long time" Nagisa said
"Okay order up!" Souma said as he served the dish, the smell of the lamb was tantalising, the way the meat glistered with juices and the fried rice was steaming hot.
"Let's dig in" they all said, upon taking a bite they were blown away by the flavours of the meat, how soft juicy and tender it was
"My word, I can simply pull the meat clean off the bone with my fork" Momo said
"And that mint and Peppercorn gravy is divine, the sharpness of the mint adds a bit of a cool sensation which fits nicely with the spice of the pepperconrs" Hinano said
"There's something about this fried rice, it's not your usual fried rice, there's something else to it" Momo said
"You're right" Nagisa frowned as he tried some more. I taste soy sauce, a bit of five spice, paprika, a bit of cumin"
"There's that luck of yours I'm guessing since you're correct." Souma smiled
"But what else" Nagisa frowned
"You've got corn, peas, soy sauce, smoked bacon" Momo said after swallowing a spoonful "And what Nagisa mentioned, only there's a hint of a richness" Momo said
"She's good" Ryoko smiled as she ate her dish "Oh wow I didn't think a bit of consommé would add that much richness"
"A consommé?" Hinano asked
"It's a type of soup, I can tell you made this one with lamb, possibly some of the meat that is known as a chop" Momo said
"You got it, but we actually used grilled lamb's cheek" Souma told her
"It's awesome" they all said as ate. Nagisa mixed what left over gravy he had into the rice, which the others did as well making the flavour greater
"I must say you've out done yourself Souma" Momo said
"Thank you" Souma said
"Now then, how about some dessert?" Ryoko asked
"Sounds great" the diners said
"It won't be a moment" Ryoko said
'Hey Ryoko, think they had the usual food hallucination?" Souma asked
"If they did they're hold it in" Ryoko said
"DAMN! WHAT THE SHIT DID I SEE!" the diner mentally shouted as they experience food based images of them at the farm playing with the sheep there.
"Okay now for dessert" Ryko said as she laid out six pieces of a type of cheesecake.
"Oh man that looks good" Hinano said excitedly
"I forgot you have a sweet tooth" Nagisa groaned.
"Well don't just sit there dig in" Souma said as they all took a bite.
"Oh man, this is seriously good" Izuku said "There's a freshness to the cream cheese, and a hint of zest"
"I think it could be a mix of lemon and mango in the cream cheese" Momo said
"And they topped with mixed berries in a cherry flavour jelly" Hinano said
"You're on track" Souma smiled
"And the crumb... there's a hint of vanilla, maybe caramel?" Nagisa asked
"Brown Sugar, we added some to the biscuit base to add some some caramel flavour" Ryoko smiled
"This is great, thank you so much" Hinano said as he imagined she was at a fancy event, Nagisa dressed in a tuxedo
"Thanks for the meal!" they said once they were finished.
"You sure you didn't want us to clean up?" Momo asked
"We're fine" Ryoko said as she washed up.
"We're use to this, heck tonight is a slow night" Souma smiled
"A slow night?" the girls asked
"Yeah; tonight was a special night just for you" Souma said
"Aw thank you guys" Hinano said
"How about a game of cards after this?' Izuku asked
"NO!" Hinano panicked
"What do you mean?" Momo asked
"Are you forgetting Nagisa has unnatural luck" Hinano said
"Dang it" the girls said
"Well, I can sit out" Nagisa said
"But that wouldn't be unfair to you" Hinano pouted
"I'm okay, besides I have a feeling they want to see what you're like" Momo smiled
"I want to see this luck in action" Izuku said
"You clearly are biting off more than you can chew" Hinano said as the cooks joined them "Just try not to win too much" Hinano said
"I won't" Nagisa said as he grabbed a box of cards and started to do trick shuffling
"Incredible" Ryoko said.
"So who's ready for some Tycoon?" Nagisa asked with a smirk,
"Oh bother" Hinano groaned.
"Oh you have got to be kidding me!" Ryoko growled as she gave Nagisa her three Kings, then throwing down a 3 of diamonds
"We warned you" Hinano said sighing as she laid down a 4 of clubs
"I didn't think he would be this good" Momo said throwing down a 6 of spades.
"No kidding' Izuku said throwing down a seven
"I just am" Nagsia said placing down and eight clearing out the pile before he placed down an 8 clearing the field, so he threw down a 7
"oh yes" Hinano said placing down another eight before laying out 4 queens "Revolution achieved"
"Damn it" They all said passing until Nagisa played a hand of 2's "Revolution reversed"
"Oh come on!" Hinano said as she passed, which allowed Nagisa to put down three kings.
"Thank you Ryoko" Nagisa smiled
"Dang it" Ryoko growled
"Man you guys sure like your games" Souma said walking over and kissing Ryoko's cheek to make her smile.
"Yeah" the couple said as Momo placed down an ace and a joker.
"WHAT!" everyone shouted making Momo giggle.
"Oh man, I have to step up otherwise, I'll be last" Ryoko muttered.
After an hour the game was over and Ryoko was in the lowest position in the totem pole.
"Sorry Ryoko" Momo said
"It's alright, just shows us never play with a Shiota" Ryoko glared at Nagisa who just chuckled and rubbed the back of his head in an embarrassed manner. Suddenly Hinano let out a yawn.
"You feeling tired?" Nagisa asked
"Yeah a bit" Hinano smiled back leaning on her boyfriend
"Well it is getting late, maybe we should head home" Momo said
"I wouldn't disagree with that" Izuku said
"Well this night was fun, and thanks for the meal" Nagisa said as he helped his partner to her feet
"No problem, we really have to do this again" Souma said
"Indeed" Ryoko smiled
"Looking forward to it, Goodnight you guys" Nagsia
"Have a good sleep" Momo smiled
"Bye bye" Hinano waved sleepily to a wall, before Nagsia redirected her to the cooks
"See you later' Izuku smiled
"Okay guys, be safe getting home" Souma said
"Take care" Ryoko smiled.
G'day Guys Grizz here and I must say this was something I never thought I would ever write. So a crossover of My hero academia, Food Wars AND Assassination Classroom. Well this idea came to me when someone on the discord server I'm primarily apart of asked me what's the connections, so that got me thinking what are the connections, which lead to this fic giving to a taste of what is to come in the future of the Geeky Love Universe or the G.L.U. In this one we see the three main couples of NagiHina, Izumomo and Souryo just meeting up fior the first time and talking, that is all
