Hey, y'all. I'm coming back to it with an update. Thanks so much for the support. So, before we get into this chapter, I wanted to ask all of you a question. Should I start another fic? My schedule is busy, but I want to try some ideas and see if they work whenever I'm not working on this. I'm a big Young Justice fan and figured I'd try my hand at doing another crossover fic. Let me know in the comments if you all think I should. I might put up a poll and let y'all decide on the pairing, though I have a pretty good idea of what I want to do if it works out. Also, I'm trying to give you all at least 1k words per chapter since I update so sporadically.

Percy's first impression of the Weasley house was slightly over the top.

Falling slightly behind Percy Weasley as they walked down the path, the tall, towering Burrow came into sight.

"Hey, Percy, try not to let any of the gnomes make a home while your mouth is open, eh?" Fred teased, shoulders tense.

"Yeah, those teeth may be small, but they sure sting for a couple of days." George snickered.

"This is awesome," Percy whispered. "It's so big!"

Fred and George both snickered, but any reservations they had about Percy's reaction melted away with his amazed remark.

"Yeah, we call it the Burrow since-"

"Is it because of your last name?" Percy asked, then uncharacteristically flushed.

"Y'know, like the animal? A weasel burrow?"

Fred and George just sat there gob-smacked.

"Oi George." "Yes, Fred?"

"That's a way better explanation than whatever we've come up with."

As the boys debated the house's name, the door swung open, and a red-haired, portly woman rushed out to greet the party.

"Fred George! And you must be Perseus! Welcome, I'm Molly Weasley. I'm Fred, George and Percy's mother! Their father, Arthur, should be home soon. He works for the ministry."

Percy was slightly overwhelmed by the boisterous greeting, and as he was pulled inside, he took note of his new surroundings. Looking around, he saw a strange clock and a massive table with ten chairs.

As Mrs. Weasley finished putting up all the boys' luggage, she suddenly walked up the stairs, returning with a small redheaded girl wrapped around her leg and a small boy peeking out from the stairway.

"Perseus, this is my daughter Ginny and my youngest son Ron. Children, this is Perseus, a friend of your brothers from Hogwarts! He'll be staying with us for Christmas, so be nice."

The girl and boy both stared at Percy, only acknowledging their mother with a silent nod, eyes wide.

"Ron, why don't you show Percy up to the twin's room so he can drop off his things?"

"Yes, mum," the boy replied.

Percy followed the boy up the stairs, noting that he seemed rather tall for an 11-year-old.

"So, Ron, are you excited to go to Hogwarts next year?" Percy asked.

The noy just shot him a frightened look, and Percy inwardly grimaced.

Great, so he's scared of me now. Was it something I said?

"Umm, is it true your dad is the Sirius Black?" Ron asked, scared of his reaction.

Percy's hand rose to his face, and he pinched his brow.

Great. My last name is what scares him.

"Legally, yes. I'm stuck with the last name of Black. I was adopted and then sent to live with Remus. After my bast- I mean stupid arse father decided he was going to murder all those people. No, I won't do anything to you for being curious, but please don't mention him. After all, it's Christmas. And I've heard so much about you and your family from the twins."

Percy smirked at Ron as the boy blushed and then paled as Percy spoke.

"What all have they told you?"

"Ah Ronny buddy pal, that's for me to know and you to find out later."

Percy winked at the slack-jawed, pale-faced redhead as he entered the twin's room and set his stuff down.

"Come on, little dude. I smell food."

Time Skip- Christmas Morning

Percy was awoken rather rudely on Christmas morning by the little spitfire that was Ginny Weasley. It had taken some time for the girl to warm up to him, with her hiding anytime he caught sight of her, often sporting a blush similar to her hair color.

However, after saving her from a prank that the twins had set up for their older brothers Charlie and Bill (the latter returning from his job abroad, the former from his internship with dragon-wranglers over the break), the youngest Weasley had all but adopted Percy as another brother.

Ginny jumped from Percy's bed to Fred's and finally to George's, waking them up rather quickly.

The twins just groaned and tried to turn back around, but with a little more prodding, Percy was persuaded by Ginny's puppy dog eyes. Mind you, he had seen those eyes on Remus during his transformation, or when trying to coerce Percy to behave when he was younger, so Percy knew how to resist.

At least, that's what he told himself as he helped a triumphant Ginny get the twins downstairs.

Something that Percy had learned rather quickly at Hogwarts and again at the Burrow was that he thrived around large amounts of people. He practically fed off of the energy that came from the din of mixed conversations.

Mrs. Weasley had also significantly influenced Percy's enjoyment of the winter break. There was something about how she cared for not only her family but him, too. She kept asking about him and didn't even blink twice when he told her about him only having Remus take care of him. Instead, she treated him like a seventh son. Mr. Weasley, too, showed interest in Percy's life. He even showed Percy some of the strange Muggle inventions he worked on and how they worked, and Percy had to admit that they were fascinating.

Charlie and Bill, too, had taken a strong liking to him, the former even showing some pictures and sharing stories of the dragons he hoped to work with after he graduated that year. Bill, who worked with Goblins, taught Percy some interesting facts about some of the intelligent magical species native to Britain and how to treat them respectively.

The only problem that arose during his stay at the burrow was brought up by Ron, who made a passing remark about how much better Gryffindor is than everyone else. Percy, a Ravenclaw (coincidentally the only non-Gryffindor school-age in the house), had quickly taught Ron why Ravenclaws were known for being smart. Promptly besting him in wizards' chess over and over and over and over again. Finally, the boy swallowed his pride and asked Percy to teach him. And so, he won over the final Weasley. And things were great.

All in all, Percy felt more at ease than he did in his own home.

Growing up, it had always been just him and Remus during the holidays, so the change of so many people laughing, sharing mealtimes, and everything in between them was overwhelming for him at first. But the Weasleys were all welcoming, eventually, including Ron.

And for once. Percy didn't feel bitter during the holiday. He felt loved.

Okay, so that's another chapter done. I told you all I would get another done soon, and here it is (after who knows how much caffeine and one all-nighter.) I'm trying to set up Percy as an honorary Weasley. Pretty much any crossover I've read has always made Ron hate him for just his name, and I personally would love to see Ron push the Golden Trio toward Percy, at least within the bounds of him staying his usual paranoid self. Also, I'm not saying that Remus didn't give Percy all the love he needed, but Molly will kind of step up now as a mother figure, so Percy will be spending a lot of time with the Weasleys from now on.
