The Namimori Middle Discipline Committee office was unusually quiet, save for the soft rustle of papers and the faint hum of the heater. Dino sat slumped on the sofa, his head leaning back, eyes closed, and a disposable mask covering half his face. He was clearly unwell, his usual energy replaced by a rare stillness.

Hibari leaned against his desk, arms crossed, watching Dino with a frown. The mask bothered him. Dino looked… wrong, somehow, hidden behind it.

Finally, Hibari stood and approached. Dino, sensing movement, cracked an eye open. "Kyoya," he murmured weakly, his voice muffled by the mask, "don't come near me. I'm sick."

Hibari ignored him, stopping right in front of the sofa. He reached out without hesitation, tugging the mask down to reveal Dino's flushed face.

"Kyoya!" Dino said, startled, hurriedly pulling the mask back up. "Don't! You'll get sick too!"

Hibari smirked, leaning in closer, their faces mere inches apart. "People say if you kiss someone with a fever, the fever can be passed on. I wonder if it's true."

Dino blinked, confused. "Wha—"

Before he could finish, Hibari tilted his head and pressed his lips against Dino's. The kiss was firm and deliberate, catching Dino completely off guard.

Dino's heart raced as he felt Hibari's soft lips against his own. He knew he should protest, but he couldn't help the way his body leaned into the kiss, savoring the warmth and the rare intimacy.

But after a long moment, Dino's better instincts kicked in. He placed his hands gently on Hibari's shoulders and pushed him back, his face burning red. "Wait—Kyoya, we shouldn't…"

Hibari smirked, his expression as smug as ever. "Then I'll let you know if the fever trick works." Without another word, he turned and walked out of the office, leaving Dino sitting there, dazed and utterly flustered.

The next day, Dino sat at Hibari's bedside in the hospital. The room was quiet except for the faint beeping of monitors. Hibari lay in bed, arms crossed over his chest, looking more annoyed than sick.

"You were right," Dino said, a sheepish grin on his face. "I'm feeling better now."

Hibari glared at him, his pale face showing a hint of irritation.

Dino chuckled softly, leaning back in the chair beside the bed. "Next time, just let me stay sick."

Hibari didn't reply, but the faintest twitch of his lips suggested he wasn't entirely displeased.
