The sun hung low over the vast expanse of the Egyptian desert, casting an orange glow across the shifting sands. Tyson's father, Dr. Edgar Granger, stood at the entrance of a newly discovered tomb, his brow furrowed in concentration. He wasn't a man easily impressed by the unearthing of ancient artifacts, but something about this site was different. It was as if the earth itself had been waiting for someone to unlock its secrets.
"Are you sure this is the place, Dr. Granger?" one of his fellow archaeologists, Karen, asked. She stood with a flashlight in hand, her face pale from both the heat and the eerie atmosphere surrounding them.
"Absolutely," Edgar replied, his voice tinged with excitement. "These carvings... They don't match any known Egyptian hieroglyphics. It's like a map, but for something… something far older than anything we've seen."
The crew had been exploring an uncharted area of the Valley of the Kings for weeks. Their latest find—a tomb sealed for millennia—had hinted at an entirely new discovery. Edgar had always believed there was more to Egypt's ancient history than what was commonly known, and today, it seemed like the universe was proving him right.
They ventured deeper into the tomb, passing through narrow corridors and descending into a chamber large enough to fit a small cathedral. In the center, an ancient stone altar lay, covered in dust, but its surface was adorned with strange carvings—three creatures, each more formidable than the last. A massive blue dragon with piercing eyes, a towering warrior god with a spear, and a great fiery bird with wings spread wide.
"These… they look like beasts," Karen whispered, marveling at the artwork. "But not like anything we've ever seen in Egyptian mythology. These are… gods, aren't they?"
Dr. Granger's eyes widened. "No, they're not just gods. These creatures—these Bit Beasts—were more than just legends. They were real, tangible forces that served under the ancient rulers of Egypt. They protected Egypt for centuries."
"But why are they… here? Hidden away?" another archaeologist, Ralf, asked as he examined the altar further.
Edgar ran his fingers across the stone carving of the blue dragon, the first of the three creatures. "What if these were their… guardians? Perhaps the rulers of Egypt once relied on these creatures to fight battles, protect their lands, or even to perform rituals. And over time, they were sealed away... until now."
With a mixture of awe and reverence, the group gathered around the altar. Edgar felt a strange pull to the carvings, as if something—some ancient power—was calling out to him. He could sense it in the air: the tomb was more than just a burial site. It was a place of power, a prison for something far older than even Egypt itself.
"Let's get the tools," Edgar said, motioning to the team to start cataloging the artifacts and carvings.
But as Edgar turned his back, something strange happened. The air grew heavier, and the ground beneath their feet trembled faintly, as though it were awakening after a long slumber. A subtle, low hum reverberated through the chamber.
"What's going on?" Karen asked, her voice trembling. "Is it an earthquake?"
"No… This isn't an earthquake," Edgar murmured, his mind racing. "This is something else."
Suddenly, a deep rumbling filled the tomb, followed by the sound of stone grinding against stone. The altar's carvings seemed to glow faintly, and as Edgar took a step closer, the ground beneath the altar began to shift. With a deafening crack, the altar split open, revealing a hidden compartment beneath.
"Edgar, look!" Ralf shouted, pointing at the stone compartment.
Inside was a large, glowing orb, radiating with an unnatural energy. Edgar's heart raced. This was no ordinary artifact. The orb hummed with life, as if it contained the essence of something far beyond human understanding.
"No, no, this isn't right," Edgar muttered. "We shouldn't—"
Before he could finish his warning, the orb flared to life, releasing a burst of blinding light that engulfed the entire chamber.
The tomb trembled violently, and the team struggled to stay on their feet as a powerful, invisible force seemed to push them all back. From within the light, they saw three immense figures forming. The first, a towering blue demon warrior, his body glowing with blue energy, stood tall. His face, an image of pure power, bore a crown of divine might. It was the ancient depiction of Obelisk the Tormentor.
The second figure, a massive dragon with gleaming red scales, appeared, its wings unfurling with the sound of thunder. Its eyes burned with an intensity that could pierce the heavens. This was Slifer the Sky Dragon, the embodiment of the skies and storms.
And finally, from the heart of the light, a fiery, winged beast with the power to scorch the very earth itself manifested—The Winged Dragon of Ra, the embodiment of the sun and all-consuming fire.
The creatures loomed before them, their power suffocating the air. The ground cracked and began to splinter beneath their feet as the light slowly faded, revealing the trio in full glory. The team stood frozen in awe and terror.
"You've awakened us," the voice of Obelisk rumbled, "The seal has broken after 5,000 years."
"Who dares disturb the gods of Egypt?" Slifer's voice echoed, "You have awakened the wrath of the ancients."
Karen screamed, backing away from the figures, but Edgar stood frozen, transfixed by the beasts' terrifying presence.
"We didn't mean to," Edgar stammered, his heart pounding. "We didn't know—"
"You dare claim ignorance?" Ra's voice blazed like the sun itself. "You have unleashed us, and now you will face the consequences of your actions."
The tomb shook violently as the three Beasts began to move, their immense power bending the very fabric of the chamber.
"Get out of here!" Ralf yelled, grabbing Karen and dragging her towards the exit. But it was too late. The gods' power was already consuming the air around them, and they were trapped.
Dr. Granger tried to speak, his voice trembling. "What… what do you want from us?"
The three Beasts turned their eyes toward him, and for a moment, there was silence. Then Obelisk spoke, his voice like thunder.
"Your fate is sealed. You have awakened us, and now you will serve us or perish."
The air grew colder as Slifer's eyes narrowed. "The world will tremble before us. We are the gods of this earth, and nothing can stop our wrath."
"Flee while you can, mortals," Ra's booming voice echoed. "But know this: you cannot outrun destiny."
Dr. Granger's mind raced as the chamber continued to shake. He had to find a way to stop them, to undo the destruction they were sure to bring. But before he could think of a plan, a single thought struck him: his son, Tyson. Could he, the young champion of the Blade Breakers, somehow be the key to stopping this ancient wrath?
As the Beasts' voices continued to echo in the tomb, Edgar made his decision. He would do whatever it took to protect his team… and perhaps even save the world from the wrath of the ancient gods.
To be continued...
It's quite silly I know...
